The Announcement

The Magnolia Station hub was bathed in the early morning sun. A young couple was seated on one of them and was obviously trying to fight off the early morning fatigue.

A young man with wild dark hair that clung to his head asked, "Wen shouldn't everyone be gathering here soon?" A blue-haired woman sat next to him, her head resting gently on his shoulder.

"We are early, Ro. Let's give them some time, please."

Romeo nodded slightly in agreement and laid his head on the girl underneath him, her hand entwined in his.

"Suppose that should be fine and we can enjoy this time together."

Wendy lifted her head ever so slightly off his shoulder and the two of them leaned in close together.

"Good morning love birds"

A loud, country voice rang out across the station yard. Wendy and Romeo immediately turned away from one another and cast a startled glance in that direction.

"Asuka, do you have to interrupt the good part?"

Romeo's quirky reply was immediately met with an enormous grin as the 19-year-old gunslinger made her way towards the couple.

"Hate to tell you, but she is too good for you, anyway."

Romeo turned away from Wendy and paused before glaring down at the short-stretched girl, who scarcely reached his chest. As she returns her own glare at the male from below.

Before the competition ended, a mirror grin briefly took their place. Romeo then burst into a raucous voice.

"You cheeky brat"

"I studied under the best," Asuka curtly responded as the younger woman wrapped her arms around the man's middle.

"Miss ya bro you were gone for a while "

Smiling to himself, Rome returned the hug.

"Missed ya too gremlin."

Wendy's soft giggle broke the embrace a moment later and caught the attention of the two.

"You two are adorable."

Asuka raced over to Wendy and embraced her as well. The blunette let out a small eep.

"Don't think I forgot about you either, sis!"

Fairy Tail

March 16th

The guild hall was loud and active as the midday sky blazed brightly. As a familiar brawl began taking part.

Who are you calling stupid, Ice Princess? "Say that again." Zeke was sitting to the side, encouraging his father as the two continued to fight as Natsu's head smacked against his fathers as the two went about their regular routine. Even yet, he kept turning to look at a familiar pink-haired girl who was neatly seated between Lexi and Natli. The girl took care to avoid his attention as the three girls talked.

The young man's shoulders seemed to slump as the girl turned her head once again.

Later, Isaul's soothing voice reached him, as a slender arm swung itself around his shoulders.

What's going on, glacier brain?

As soon as he swung Isaul's offending arm away, Zeke felt a tick mark emerge over his head. His expression hardened as he looked at the offender.

"Can it, you metal freak."

Isaul immediately moved forward with a similar expression on his face as his crimson eyes furiously locked with the other man.

What was it I heard here? You look like a dejected puppy, and that's how you want to talk to me, so I wanted to check on you.

Meeting him head on, Isaul's voice broke out.

Oh, and who asked you to check on me, you jerk?"

Another quieter voice erupted as the two talked further as Yuji moved in between them.

"Friends shouldn't be fighting each other, you two should really get along,"

The guildhall brawl started as Zeke and Isaul grabbed him, their outraged voices almost matching the uproar behind them. Immediately, two glares focused on him.

"We aren't friends !"

Lexi

The blonde noticed herself dozing off as her two companions' conversation dragged on, and Lexi's head dipped once more.

After Nat had rudely dragged her away from her spot outside while clamoring about some new outfit she was going to make, she just wanted to sleep. They were situated in her second favorite nap location, beneath the stairs leading to the second floor, with a gentle breeze coming in from the window as she finally started to quiet down. Once more, they were interrupted as Alli sat down next to them, holding a strawberry milkshake. causing Nat to take action. As Nat shook the blonde, she sighed once more. They drew her into their chat.

"Lei-chan why are boys so stupid do you know."

Lexi couldn't stop the internal sigh as Alli's voice filled her ears. No nap for her.

Pushing up, the girl's elbows soon came to rest on the table as her eyes stared at the two before her.

"Who knows? Thou seem like Zeki wasn't trying to upset you, Alli. Do you really wanna keep fighting?"

The blonde watched as Alli's shoulders seemed to slump as the young girl took another long sip of her milkshake. Thou Nat's own voice quickly piped in.

"As if Lex we can't just let him get away with it can we those boys need to learn to respect a girl's feelings."

At her declaration Natli shot to her feet slamming one of her palms down on the table the girl's eyes seemed to alight with a hidden blaze and her other came to make a small fist as her eyes locked on the boy in question across the hall.

Lexi felt another sigh come along as she cocked her head to the side, giving her cousin a small glare. Immediately, the fashionista seemed to slack and stiffen before slumping to her seat.

"Alli shouldn't do things that upset her, right Nat?"

The brunette seemed to stiffen even more than she fell deeper into her seat.

Lexi lowered her head and grinned as she began to relax once more. She began to stray once more when she overheard a statement that destroyed her opportunity one last time.

"Dear Allia, we could design you a new dress that always makes me feel better,"

Lexi let out a cry as she found herself held between the two girls, who proceeded to pull her away from the table.

Outside Fairy Tail

March 16th

Outside the opulent doors leading into Fairy Tail, Romeo and Wendy were standing. The two had chosen to go on a leisurely walk, which they did for the whole of the morning. She encircled his arm, the sky dragon's head resting gently on his shoulder. The two entered the hectic guild hall as chairs raced past them with a nod as they pushed open the doors. They moved ahead, but as they did, two other people led by a pink blur crashed into them, causing them to split apart.

"Watch where you're going, Sensei," Romeo took a minute to gather himself as he looked at Wendy, who was on the floor next to his trouble-making student, while Allia's words resounded.

He extended his hand to the blunette without saying a word, and she graciously accepted it as she raised herself. Before assisting Allia in standing.

Allia, you ought to be the one paying attention to your surroundings. Wendy reprimanded the young girl in a gentle voice.

The other two females also stepped up to help.

The girl moaned as her three friends helped her stand up. "She right, you know I mean you ran into them her," Natli's voice teased.

Allia's voice erupted as she rose to her feet to respond to the quip, but a strange smile soon filled her nose. The girl turned her nose, took a big sniff, moved closer to Wendy as she did, then encircled Wendy with her arms as she started sniffing her.

With her head cocked to the side and a smile on her face, the girl asked, "Aunt Wendy, why do you smell like sensei?" as she withdrew. The heads of the two other girls immediately turned to face the concerned girl.

Cana hastily ignored the girl's statement and staggered over to the crowds at the door with her arm slung haphazardly over the shoulders of the female dragon.

"What is that? I thought something was off about you."

As Wendy appeared to shake off Cana's hold, her brown eyes widened, and she started to blush a harsh shade of red.

"Nothing, Cana-san, just something different."

A big grin covered Cana's face as she ran forward, wrapping Wendy up in a huge hug. The reply was abruptly cut off as Allia shot back around Wendy and repeated her query from before. Cana's voice broke through the typical guild commotion.

"Ah Hell yeah everyone, it's party time Wendy got laid !"

Silence filled the guild hall as Cana's words rang out before multiple voices broke out in sequence.

"Cana! Too Lewd""""

"There are Child read here."

"Well done, you two."

"My boy grown up."

Followed by unanimous cheering echoing out across the guild hall.

Fairy Tail

X806, March 16th

Evening

Romeo and Wendy Sat down completely exhausted at the center of the guild hours later as the celebration seemed to finally be dying down. Both individuals seemed to be permanently red. As they glanced around, the guild members laid passed out across the hall.

Notably absent were some of the younger group members who had left at Lucy and Levy's request and who had refused to elaborate in response to Allia's questions up until Natli and Lexi reminded her of their shopping outing, with Natli then dragging her two friends away. getting nods of appreciation from the two mothers. Their male counterparts have left as well to do a job.

Flopping back onto the table, Romeo let out a dramatic sigh as fell into his arms. The young man obviously burying his cheeks within the confines of his arms, trying to calm his blazing cheeks.

"Dam I can't believe how embarrassing that was?"

The young man happened to look at his girlfriend, who was speechless from humiliation. From her side of the table.

"Well, what do you expect mini flame brain everyone's been betting on when you get the deed done for months now?"

Romeo glanced at the iron dragon, who was staring at the young man, and felt a heavy hand press down on his shoulder. As Romeo felt himself calming down and his color starting to return to normal, he couldn't help but chuckle at the fact of the bet.

"Ya gonna kill me now?" he questioned, recalling a few of the times when they were younger.

Gajeel's trademark laugh was his reply as he felt the iron dragon grip tighten.

"Not a chance half pint though you hurt her, then it be a different story."

Romeo grinned to himself and then nodded in agreement as the iron dragon approached his wife. The rainbow fire mage couldn't help but unwind even as he considered whether to mention that this wasn't the first time. No one objected, even though he suppressed the thought as soon as it arose.

A short while later, the guild master's voice, which was coming from the second floor, resounded throughout the guild.

"Listen up you freeloaders We got an announcement from the capital."

Laxus' voice immediately silenced any remaining chatter from the still conscious members. As they all directed their attention on him and Mira, who stood beside him. Once things had calmed down, the devil's soft voice filled in for her partner.

"The Grand Magic Games are returning and Fairy Tail is going to enter!"
