Chapter 5
Timeskip. Two Weeks after the last chapter.

"Look man. I don't think we should be doing this. I mean we're going to get caught by the MBI and killed by that lunatic who thinks he's above us." A guy said as he was sitting in the front of a large pickup truck as he was listening to a police scanner that was in front of the dashboard until the passenger side opened up to reveal an average-sized young man in his early-mid-twenties with brown hair and eyes. His attire consists of a baggy green pullover hoodie, jeans, and sneakers.
"Look Alex, that Higa guy is paying us big money to deliver these bitches to his place so he can use them for whatever reason he wants these Sekirei. In exchange for our services, we get to have ourselves a Sekirei. Don't you get it? If we have one of those sluts, then both of us will be set for life. Don't you want to get the money to pay for your sister's surgery?" The guy asked as Alex, a twenty-one-year-old teenager, sighed heavily and squeezed the steering wheel before turning the ignition on.
"Okay but after this I want out Junichi. I don't want my sister to think that I'm..." Alex said as Junichi before patting the guys back in comfort. The other soldiers that were owned by Higa's company started their vehicles as they began to follow the bounty hunters back to their headquarters in order to drop off the Sekirei.
"Hey, I get it but I'm just looking out for you. Your struggling making ends meet and can't get a girlfriend so why not get one of these women to be your fake girlfriend? You'd be loaded and have a nice time in the sheets." Junichi said as he imagined the payment, they'd get for delivering the Sekirei that they captured to their boss until Alex sighed again.
"I don't know man. Should we really be doing this? Sure, they're aliens but they are human in some cases. Isn't what we're doing even worse than what MBI put them through?" Alex asked as Junichi looked out his window and replied.
"Look. I get your worried but there's no reason to be concerned. Look, after this delivery, you can leave with your share and still be able to not only pay off the debt but also share some for your sister to go to school and take care of her. Isn't this job worth the cost since by doing this you'll be able to help your sister." Junichi said as Alex began to ponder over his friends' words until he looked to see a person standing in the way of the truck.
"Oh Shit!" Alex shouted as he slammed his left foot on the brakes before the truck skidded to the side before the truck slammed into the woman which caused the truck to flip over before landing near the center square of Shinto Teito. Both guys groaned in pain as some soldiers stepped out of their vehicles, walked towards the truck, and checked on the two of them.
"Hey you two, okay?" One of the soldiers asked as Alex and Junichi nodded in reply to the man before one of the others checked on the back of the truck to see that the Sekirei that they captured were knocked unconscious.
"The package is still secure, although we'll have to load some of them up into the backup truck so we can meet the deadline in the West." The leader of the soldiers said as they began to try using their radios to communicate with Higa about the change in plans.
"Higa. We got the package and the backup truck, but it seems we've run into some problems. For some reason your bounty hunters freaked and flipped the truck causing it to be too damaged to get back up which is why we have to take care the backup truck to the West. If your contact is meeting us there, they will expect us to be a bit late." The captain of the squad said as Higa replied to him.
{I don't care how you get there. Just deliver the package to the West and you'll complete the assignment. Now move it!} Higa yelled as the captain sighed by putting his radio away before seeing his soldiers already taking the Sekirei to the backup truck they have.
"I know this was supposed to be a simple assignment, but I can't help but shake the feeling we're not alone here." The captain whispered to himself as he turned on his night vision to see that there were no targets around them but the feeling that they were being watched didn't leave his mind, so he focused on directing his troops to load the Sekirei into the backup truck and kept an eye on the area just in case they were ambushed by any unsuspecting enemies.
"Captain. The Sekirei are loaded up and ready." The soldier said as the captain nodded and ordered his people to roll out to the West. Unbeknownst to them that they were watched but not by friendly faces.
"Target is in route to the West. This is Blade Bird. Do you copy?" A woman asked as the moonlight revealed her body to be a tall woman with short black hair. She wore nylons or a similar opaque leg covering under thigh-high boots and a Chinese-style-looking shirt. She had a 19 inscribed on her left boot in black.
Ikki: Sekirei Number 19
As she waited for a reply, two figures were smiling at the small group of cars as they neared the West. The moon revealed two ladies that wielded a deadly scythe and claw knives that were deadly as they glistened in the moonlight.
The one wielding the scythe was female woman who had short, messy black hair and large, light-colored eyes with prominent dark bags or markings around the edges. Her clothing was all black, which consisted of a pair of long, arm length black leather gloves, a small bikini top, a pair of leather heels and black pants with the left leg cut short. Her ensemble was topped with a single thigh length stocking covered with a pattern of skulls. Her body was slightly anorexic with thin arms, a prominent, jagged collarbone, narrow hips, small breasts, and a visible rib cage.
The woman next to her was a tall woman with olive skin, narrow black eyes, shark-like teeth, and somewhat spiky short dark hair that reaches her neck, with two prominent strands reaching her collarbone. She wore a black bikini top, black pants with a prominent skull pattern extending down from her hips to her feet, a black belt, black arm sleeves, and black boots with prominent heels. She also appeared to have her claw blades attached to her sleeves via metal brace-like attachments.
"This is Crow One and Two. The prey is nearing Crow Three's nest. We are ready to ambush them when we get the signal." The scythe wielder said as the one next to her chuckled as she was excited about killing the soldiers.
"Heh. It's almost time Chiyo. Soon the blood will rain and soak the Western area of Shinto Teito." The woman said as the scythe wilder known as Chiyo chuckled at her partner.
"Agreed Hatae. It's almost time for the fun to begin. Let's hope that the others are ready as well." Chiyo says as they began to follow the trucks while traversing the rooftops while making sure they didn't lose the trucks.
Hatae: Sekirei Number 20

While they were chasing the enemy to the West, the last two members waiting for their target to arrive to the trap that's been laid out for them.
"This is Crow Three. The prey is approaching the nest. Repeat, the prey is approaching the nest." The woman said as she had narrow, dark eyes, small eyebrows, and long black hair tied back into a ponytail. Long bangs frame either side of her face. Her clothing, all black, consisted of a small bikini top, a pair of leather heels, and black pants with the left leg cut short. A black ribbon, tied around her waist, billows out behind her. Her left hand is covered in a standard black leather glove, but her right glove goes up to her bicep and is patterned with skulls. She is thin to the point of appearing somewhat anorexic or gaunt, with thin arms, narrow hips, and small breasts.
Yūna: Sekirei Number 17
The screeching of trucks caused 'Crow Three' to look at her prey as they were stopped before hitting the massive metal wire trap that prevented the trucks from escaping into any other area which made the woman smile to herself as she spoke to her colleagues.
"It's time to slaughter the lambs." The woman said as a soldier in the truck smiled as they began to shoot the other soldiers who were caught off guard by the traitor among them until Chiyo and Hatae dropped from the building and began to deal with the soldiers.
"Shoot them!" The captain said as he was shooting the Sekirei but Chiyo and Hatae were able to use their speed to dodge the bullets while also being able to slice their guns into pieces. The soldiers began to use their pistols as well to try and stop them but even twenty of Higa's personal soldiers stood no chance against the deadly Sekirei, especially the last two members who were taking out the soldiers as well.
The traitor revealed themselves to be brown hair, with her hair reaching her buttocks at its lowest point and having several messy tufts sticking outwards and upwards at the top and sides. She has large, dark eyes, and a slender, lithe build. She wore a dark bikini-like top complete with a dark choker, dark thong-like undergarments, white stockings and matching ribbon-adorned sleeves, and dark boots.
Saki: Sekirei Number 55
The Captain couldn't believe that his men were tricked by a Sekirei and after seeing his people slaughtered he ordered a retreat but even the surviving soldiers couldn't get away as they were killed by a deadly blood spikes which shocked the Captain until he was stabbed in the back by a large bloody sword that was wielded by an attractive dark-skinned woman with white hair with a silver tint, that is curly and short with a silver tint, her eyes are a golden honey color and she has a slim and well-toned yet curvaceous figure. Her clothing had an Indian style look with tight pants and a floral print shirt that leaves her arms and midriff bare.
Himiko: Sekirei Number 70. The Bloody Sekirei.
The captain's blood fell on the floor and soaked the body of the killer which made the woman smile with a shark tooth smile before the let the bloody knife fall and absorbed it into her skin which made the woman moan in delight as her hair became blood red as she relished in the feeling of having so much blood in her body.
"Ah! This pleasure from feeding off their blood is the greatest feeling in the world. Don't you think Saki?" The woman asked as Saki pulled out her sword from a fallen soldier before heading towards the truck but when they opened the back, they saw that the Sekirei were gone which shocked them all until Saki looked at her group.
"Himiko. Interrogate the bounty hunters. Make them talk about the delivery and where the Sekirei are. Show them no mercy." Saki said as Himiko smiled before walking towards the captured bounty hunters and took the two to her personal residence so she can begin her interrogation tactics. Chiyo, Yūna, and Hatae followed Himiko since the four of them enjoyed killing and interrogating their enemies like their idol Karasuba.
Saki clenched the handle of the truck with so much strength, it bent under the pressure until Ikki approached Saki as the twin blade user was concerned with her teammate until Saki stopped Ikki from speaking to her.
"It's...fine Ikki. We need to report this to Minaka and tell him what's happened tonight. Keep in touch with Himiko and her team if they've learned anything from those bounty hunters. We can't pin this on Higa since he'll just deny sending them to capture the Sekirei. Also, these soldiers wouldn't betray Higa either way, he bought them when they were dishonorably discharged for reasons. That slimy bastard knows how to cover his tracks, so we won't be able to get anything out of him." Saki said as she began to head back to her apartment with Ikki so they could contact Minaka.
After clarifying that the Sekirei were gone, a figure stayed in the shadows as they took out a phone and speed dialed a number on their cellphone. The caller waited for the recipient to answer the call until he heard it was picked up on the other side.
{I take it that the package has been delivered?}
"Of course. We were able to get the birds out of the box as soon as they entered the Western District. We'll be doing a checkup on the birds to see if they are well or not before we deliver them to our faction. Most of the captured ones seems to be what MBI dubbed Weapon types so we should be able to deal with them easily as long as they don't have their weapons." The figure explained as the voice seemed to be content with this before replying back to them.
{Good. Make sure it stays that way. Jeanne will be coming to make sure everything goes by smoothly. Also keep an eye on Sasaki and Higa. I have a feeling that Higa may try to pull a fast one on us, so I want to make sure that narcissistic, wannabe doctor knows his place.} The voice replied in rage and annoyance as the caller nodded to his boss.
"Of course. Leave it to me Lord Cao Cao." The man said before hanging up the call and stepped out into the light to reveal himself as a young man with black hair and spectacles. He wore a combination of a Japanese school uniform and a mage-style robe over his uniform with a feathered cape. He then opened a portal and headed inside of it to reveal the interior of a warehouse where the Sekirei that were captured were placed on tables and being monitored for their safety until they would be moved to the Hero Faction.
"In order to protect mankind, sometimes you have to get your hands dirty. I only do hope that our recruits will understand that sometimes you have to do wrong for the right reasons." The man said as he went into the portal and closed it behind him so he wouldn't be followed back to the warehouse by anyone.
MBI Tower
"So, you're telling me that they were moved by the time you opened the truck and dealt with the soldiers?" Takami asked as Saki nodded in reply in the video screen.
"Yes. They seemed to have been moved as soon as they entered the West which is probably why we weren't able to detect whoever took the girls away to who knows where. We'll be doing a sweep of the western area so we can track them down. Hopefully we can find them before it's too late." Saki said as Takami thanked her for the report before the Sekirei signed off, which allowed Takami to sigh as she looked at the list of the Sekirei captured by Higa's forces.

"And most of these girls don't even have combat experience. They are weapon users sure but most of them don't wish to fight in this game. They just want to live and find their loved ones." Takami said as she sighed and walked out of her office and headed to Minaka to drop off the report until she heard grunting from the training area to see Issei was using the dumbbells to help him get stronger which worried Takami about her nephew greatly due to the problem being that ever since the Forest incident, Issei wanted to train even harder than he did before which Karasuba didn't mind, until she saw Issei pushing himself past his own limit and hesitated in using the Boosted Gear.
After Issei was told of the incident and watched the destruction he caused in the forest when fighting Sasaki, it made Issei hesitate in using his Balance Breaker since he didn't want to harm innocent people nor his Sekirei should he give into his emotions like that again. Ddraig even warned him of a dangerous technique known as Juggernaut Drive, which would grant Issei incredible power but at the cost of not just his life but also his sanity since the technique only triggers when the user of under immense emotional distress and gives into his rage which resulted in many of the dragon's previous users passing away from battle.
This worried Issei greatly since he didn't want to die from the effects of the technique so he tried to focus on strengthening his unique abilities that he had from his genes which Karasuba and Miya didn't mind but when Issei was sleeping at night, he still had nightmares from the memory of the forest and seeing himself become a beast that only knows how to kill, slaughter, and destroy everything in its path. The nightmare scared Issei so much that he began to neglect the Boosted Gear and refused to use his Balance Breaker due to his fear and not wanting to become more aggressive with his powers.
Issei let the dumbbells rest as he was done with his workout using the Sahashi Strength which made Takami glad that her nephew was taking a break from his training, until she saw him collapse on the floor as he was trying to make it to the changing room.
Issei groaned as he woke up in the medical ward to see his aunt glaring at him with anger that was similar to his mother when she was more worried than angry at him when he was little and even now. Takami saw that Issei was away and walked over towards him before hugging him and kissed his head to comfort him until she lightly smacked the back of his head.
"Ow! What was that for?" Issei asked to only receive a hard chop to his head which he was used to thanks to his mother.
"Sahashi Chop!" Takami called out as she karate chopped his head which made Issei wince in pain as he felt a small welt on his head.
Yep. The Sahashi Chop. A deadly weapon that the Sahashi females use to punish their children when they have done something wrong. It even works on their husbands when they did something stupid and made their wives worry about them.
Issei still felt some pain as his head healed until Takami spoke to him with gentleness in her tone. "You need to take a break from training Issei since you literally collapsed when you were done with your workout. Also, I've been hearing from Miya that you've had trouble sleeping and hesitate in using the Boosted Gear's power. Why is that?"
"...I don't want to hurt anyone because of this power." Issei said as he looked at his left arm and put a hand over it as if he could feel the Boosted Gear's power before Takami sighed as she asked him a simple question.
"Then why didn't you just come talk to me so I could help you?"
"I didn't want you to get dragged into my problems since you already have a lot on your plate already because of the game and the kidnappings."
"Oh, come on Issei. I can still make time for you and my kids when you're off. Also how did you learn about the kidnappings? I thought I made sure the news didn't release anything." Takami asked as Issei explained to her that he asked Matsu about what's been happening in MBI which resulted in Issei getting Matsu to spill the tea which made Takami sigh at her nephews' skills in extracting information from Matsu.
"Look Issei. I know your scared of that power and didn't want to bother me but pushing yourself to the point where you collapse from your workout isn't healthy to you or those who worry about you. That is why your temporarily banned from the training arena until you get a clean bill of health from Matsu." Takami said as Issei felt like he had lost his favorite game until Takami stopped him from replying to her.
"You need to get your mind off the game so for the next two weeks, I want you to stay focused on your studies and spend some more time with your Sekirei. You have the next two weeks off from your job, even though your still getting paid, so take your girls on a date and spend time with your girlfriend coming to Shinto Teito soon. Doctors' orders and no trying to get Minaka or Natsuo to let you into the gym. They already know what'll happen if they disobey me." Takami said darkly as Issei then remembered that both his aunt and mother were related by blood.
"Okay. I promise. By the way, where is Natsuo? I was surprised that I haven't seen him for the past two weeks since he's always flirting with me and trying to get me to take him on a date, even though I've told him I like girls." Issei said as Takami looked like she knew something but wasn't sure how to properly explain it to Issei.
"You see, the thing is that Natsuo. He's been experimenting with some of the technology we were able to get from the Sekirei ship and there were some...complications when one of them attacked Natsuo." Takami explained as Issei asked if he was okay which made his aunt wince as if she was punched in the gut before replying.
"You see the thing is that Natsuo he's...not exactly the same anymore."
"Does this mean he liked girls now?"
"Well..." Takami said before the doors were opened to reveal a woman with long dark brown hair reaching down to her bubbly rear. Her eyes were silver colored while she wore an elaborate black suit with a white dress shirt and black-tie underneath, making Issei's eyes widen in shock as he pointed a finger to the woman and asked.
"Natsuo? Natsuo Ichinomi?" Issei asked as the woman cheered as she hugged Issei into her chest which surprised Issei as the female Natsuo smiled as she looked down at Issei's face and rubbed her face on his cheek.
"Mhm. I'm still Natsuo and I'm so happy this happened to me. Now I can date you so we can be together." Natsuo said as she wagged her rear while hugging Issei into her body which made Issei blush as he felt the bust of the female clerk until Takami separated the two of them before scolding Natsuo for manhandling Issei like that which made Natsuo whimper in fear while Issei was still surprised by what was happening right now.
"Wait so how exactly did you become a female Natsuo? According to Aunt Takami, you were testing some of the devices from the ship?" Issei asked as Natsuo nodded in reply.
"Correct. We were going through some of their technology to see if we could figure out a way to separate a Sekirei if they were forced winged by someone else rather than their Destined One. Unfortunately, when I was fiddling with some of the technology, one of the gadgets injected with something that caused my body to become a female." Natsuo said as she showed off her new body which still surprised Issei before he was hugged by Natsuo again.
"And since I'm a girl now, we can date each other and have a relationship!" Natsuo cheered happily as she smiled at the idea of dating her crush until Takami pulled Natsuo off of him, making the woman whine as she tried to get back to Issei until Takami knocked her out with a tranquilizer.
"And now you know. So, like I said, two weeks of no training. Relax and have some fun with your girls. They're worried about you so let them take care of you and shower you with love and warmth, so you never feel that way. Okay Issei?" Takami asked as Issei sighed but nodded in reply.
"Okay Aunt Takami. I promise I'll keep my word."
"Good. Now go ahead and head out. I'll take Natsuo with me." Takami said as she dragged Natsuo away from Issei while Natsuo was giggling pervertedly in her sleep while rubbing her legs together.
"Hehe. Issei you're such a pervert. Punish me. Hehe." Natsuo giggled as Issei thanked the other doctors for tending to him before they allowed him to go back to the inn, but transported by limo which made Issei groan in annoyance since he wasn't used to being in a limo like his aunt and uncle were including Karasuba, Benitsubasa, and Haihane.
"I can never get used to this." Issei said as he watched the scenery outside of the limousine before it stopped at the Izumo Inn. Issei got out and thanked the driver before heading towards the inn to see that it was very active due to the newcomers.
"OniiChan!" Kusano shouted as she flew towards Issei, which made his instincts from catching Yukari kick in, as he caught the blonde girl and smiled as he gave her a big hug. Kusano cheered happily as she hugged Issei back since during the two weeks that she'd stayed at the inn, her relationship with her Ashikabi was at first like a brother and sister but Kusano also liked being able to spend time with Issei without any of the other Sekirei around them.
In a way, her mental state developed to where she was a teenager that liked to call Issei her brother but also wanted to date him which resulted in Uzume fighting over who got to call Issei Oniichan since Uzume liked being able to call Issei a brother however, like Kusano, Uzume had shown signs of a small crush on Issei.
Speaking of Uzume, Issei has been worried about her for a while since Uzume keeps to herself if anything is bothering her. Lately, Uzume has been leaving after dinner to take care of some things but when she comes back, she's so tired she falls asleep on the couch and sometimes when either Issei or Miya sees Uzume dead tired, they cover her with a blanket, which made Uzume smiled in thanks for the comforting gesture.
Hikari and Hibiki over the past two weeks have been very affectionate with their Ashikabi since the two of them show their love for Issei in different ways. Hikari was sort of like a tomboy but was very affectionate with her Ashikabi when they either trained together or at work at the diner. Hikari was also nervous when it came to dates since she wasn't used to wearing a dress or anything that showed feminine features which Issei didn't mind since he knew that girls had different senses of style so seeing Hikari act shy on their dates was a nice sight since Hikari loved a challenge like games at the arcade or liked moments when the two of them were working out together since Hikari liked to comment on Issei's ass and smack it which made the tomboy laugh at his red face.
Hibiki in the other hand was the calm and reserved twin since Hibiki wasn't as strong as her sister and struggled when it came to training but outside of training Hibiki loved being able to cook in the kitchen, read some books that caught her interest, or even relax in her Ashikabi's presence as she said that Issei's aura was warm and comforting which made her fall asleep on him a couple of times, which Issei didn't mind since he liked spending time with Hibiki. On dates however, Hibiki's confidence was much higher than Hikari since Hibiki read a lot of romance novels and wanted to try to recreate some of them when they went out, such as a Ferris wheel ride, a nice picnic in the park, or even a romantic movie where Hibiki internally squealed when her hand landed on his when they were getting popcorn.
Benitsubasa and Oriha were similar when wanting to spend time with Issei which led to the two of them arguing over fashion when they dragged/asked Issei to the mall to join them on a shopping spree. Benitsubasa liked to show off her own sexiness by getting outfits that hugged her hips and legs while Oriha went with cosplay outfits that made Issei really excited which resulted in the two of them competing over different kinds of cosplay outfits to try and get Issei happy. In the end it was a tie which they didn't mind since the two became friends/rivals before the two of them became more affectionate with Issei as they liked to show their love for their Ashikabi by helping Issei be more confident in his own appearance and abilities by having him show off some of the outfits, both cosplay and normal, which made the two girls excited before they had so many kisses from Issei that the two girls were tempted to take Issei to his room and not let him leave for an hour or two.
Fortunately, they were stopped by Haihane and Musubi before things went too far.
Speaking of Haihane, she bonded with Issei by using her video game skills and cat like personality by wearing cat hoodies which made her look adorable, so she cuddled with Issei when he was taking a nap after a long day to regain some strength. Haihane and Issei also clashed in video games like MK, Tekken, Street Fighter, and more games like that. They did some multiplayer games too but loved to clash with each other in battle games. Musubi wanted to learn more, so she joined the two and that led to Musubi and Haihane having challenges to spend more time with Issei which resulted in MBI having to make some new game controllers that were meant to withstand a Sekirei's strength.
Kaiha was a special girl since she reminded Issei of a tamer version of Karasuba and was able to see some similarities in their personalities. Both loved to fight and were sadistic, but the former wasn't as sadistic as Karasuba in battle. Kaiha was a girl who loved a challenge, so she took bonding with Issei as a battle she wished to win, which resulted in Kaiha sneaking into his bed at night and snuggling with Issei before Miya kicked her out of the bed which made Kaiha whimper like a puppy until Miya allowed her to snuggle with Issei at times but only if she's quiet and doesn't disturb her time with him.
Kaiha also wasn't a very romantic person but nice gestures such as compliments and admiring her skills made Kaiha blush as she wasn't used to her skills being complimented by others. This made Kaiha act like a schoolgirl who was a bit embarrassed from the attention but enjoyed soaking it up until Karasuba came into play with Karasuba liking some things like teasing Issei by swiping some of his clothes which made Issei chase her to get them back, much to the amusement of the other Sekirei who loved the show, and times when Karasuba showed her affectionate side by snuggling with Issei and keeping him in her iron like grip for a few hours until she let him go back to the others.
Kazehana liked to act as if they were a married couple by not only using her seduction skills to seduce Issei into imagining Kazehana in many situations like that but also loved to use her womanly charms to get Issei to take her on a nice date that normally resulted in Kazehana getting wasted because of her drinking. Issei didn't mind this since he was able to carry her and help her with the migraines, she felt in the morning which earned him a kiss on the cheek and a few minutes alone with her until Miya woke up to see that her husband was gone.
Matsu wanted to help Issei with his homework but also his emotional problems since she knew that Issei was hesitating from using the Boosted Gear which resulted in Issei and Matsu not speaking to each other very much since Issei didn't want to talk about the Boosted Gear or the Juggernaut Drive that would activate if he gave into his rage. This made Matsu feel sad and alone which told Issei that he needed to apologize to Matsu and make it up to her.
Miya was also a bit hesitant when it came to Issei the past two weeks since she could feel the power from Issei's aura and the Boosted Gears power frightened her since she put a bit of distance between the two for them which made Issei feel like Miya was afraid of him which is kind of true but Miya was really scared of the Boosted Gear and the effect it's having on her future husband.
Finally, Kagari was also putting distance between them since Issei wasn't sure that he did to make Kagari push Issei away, but every time Issei tried talking to Kagari, he always got the cold shoulder of Kagari ignored Issei which made him think that Kagari probably doesn't wish to be his friend anymore.
That's why today he wants to make amends with the three of them, so while he played with Kusano a bit Miya was getting her own talk by Kazehana, who wasn't exactly pleased with Miya's reaction to Issei when he came back from MBI.
"You know you're going to have to talk to him. You can't keep pushing him away just because you're scared of his power. He's been worried that he did something wrong, and we both know that's not the case because the truth is you're not scared of Issei. Your scared of the Boosted Gear because your worried he'll become the old you or even Karasuba." Kazehana said as Miya stopped her chopping while Kazehana could tell she hit the nail on the head.
"You and I both know that Issei is scared of that power as well. I've felt it and I'm not even winged to him. I see it in his eyes that he's scared of the power of that dragon as well and yet here you are putting a wall between the two of you. Don't tell me you don't feel it because I know you Miya. You've felt his emotions and want to help him, but you also don't want to hurt his feelings once he learns your scared of his power." Kazehana said as Miya put the knife down and looked at Kazehana with her head down before asking her.
"Then what do you suggest I do?" Miya asked as she knew Kazehana had seen right through her and was correct about everything until Kazehana hugged Miya and replied.
"Talk to him. Let him know your there for him." Kazehana said as Miya thanked Kazehana for being her friend and helping her when she was healing when she lost Takehito.
Now as for Kagari and Matsu, they've been having their own talk.
"You know you can't keep avoiding him forever Homura. You're going to have to tell him eventually." Matsu said as she looked at Kagari taking a pill before swallowing it and replied to Matsu.
"And tell him what? 'Hey Issei. Guess what. I'm a Sekirei and I'm reacting to you even though I'm a guy so let's make out.' Yeah, like that won't freak him out." Kagari said as he looked at his chest to see the bandages were keeping his developing bust hidden before he looked at Matsu.
"And your one to talk since you two haven't spoken to each other in a week. You need to talk to him and reach an understanding. You deserve to be happy Matsu and for me, all I have is my revenge on Minaka. I'll kill him one of these days. With or without an Ashikabi if I have to." Kagari said as he was about to leave until Matsu called out to him.
"Your wrong. Keep acting like this and you really will be alone Homura." Matsu said as Kagari kept going before the Wisdom Sekirei sighed at this before Issei came into the inn and knocked on the door to Matsu's room.
"Hey Matsu. Can I come in?" Issei asked as Matsu nodded in reply before Issei came in and sat across from her but before Matsu could say anything, Issei bowed his head to the floor and prostrated himself to her.
"I'm sorry Matsu for being an asshole to you." Issei said but before Matsu could stop him, Issei kept going on with his apology. "The reason I avoided you was because I wanted to try and get stronger without relying on the Boosted Gear so I focused on my other abilities that I have so I wouldn't give into my rage like I did back in the forest. When I was in that forest and felt my rage kick in, it made me feel like I had to assert my dominance on those who challenged me and my flock. I... I didn't want Kusano to be force winged and I hated when that woman called her a thing instead which made me want to make her fear me but when I saw that fear, a part of me liked that feeling but another part of me told me that I was hurting her. After the battle, everything hit me like a ton of bricks from seeing the aftermath, hearing about Juggernaut Drive, and how becoming a dragon is affecting my mentality. I didn't want to make you, or the others fear me as if I was some sort of tyrant which is why I... I wanted to try and get stronger without the Boosted Gear. I shouldn't have taken my anger out on you Matsu and I'm sorry."
Issei finished as Matsu picked Issei's head up and took off her glasses to show her glistening tears before kissing her Ashikabi's lips which made her wings emerge and extend a bit more as the emotions that the two felt in their hearts was being shared with not just Matsu but the others as well which made Miya shed some tears as she joined in the kiss by making out with Issei and apologized for her actions as well which resulted in the three of them staying in an comfortable hugging position.
They stayed that way for a couple of minutes before the trio left the room and walked into Kagari freaking out in the living room before seeing Issei.
"Issei! I need your help!" Kagari said as she shook Issei by his shoulders which freaked him out until he asked what was wrong. "My boss just called and said that some of my coworkers got sick and need some help at the bar. Can you come with me tonight and help me?" Kagari asked as he was begging Issei for his help until Issei agreed which made the silver haired prince thank the gods as he was glad to have Issei help him. Miya and Matsu smiled at Kagari being a bit more open to Issei but could tell that Kagari was struggling with his own feelings about Issei.
Hopefully, nothing crazy happens tonight, right?
Kagari's Workplace
Issei had never been inside of a bar his whole life, so he was a bit uncomfortable and confused about what he was supposed to do since he was told to stand behind the bar and serve drinks to the customers which was a bit easy since many of the customers were understanding of it being Issei's first time in a bar.
"Thank you for being patient. Here's your beer." Issei said as he put the massive mugs down on the table, which earned him some praise for doing good work and boosted his confidence. The customers ranged from motorcyclists, college students, and some normal customers at the bar who were relaxing after a long day at the office.
"Can I get you anything sir?" Issei asked as he was worried about the customer he was speaking to until he could tell that the guy was a bit depressed about not passing the entrance exam.
"Just some water please." The customer said as Issei nodded and poured him a glass of some water until he decided to make some light conversation with him.
"Hey. You know it's not the end of the world, right? Just because you failed the first time doesn't mean you can't pass it the second time." Issei said as the guy mumbled to himself.
"Oh yeah? Tell that to my old man. You're lucky. You're in high-school and still have your whole life ahead of you so you still got time to decide what you want to do. Me? My old man keeps asking me what I'm going to do for college, but I already graduated high school and I...I want to keep working as a contractor. I've been doing very good when it comes to doing electrical work at some hotels and such so, I really want to keep working as a contractor. I was thinking of opening my own business someday but getting a degree in business takes so much time that I'm worried I won't be able to make it."
"Well, I think what's stopping you is yourself. Like you said, I'm in high-school and granted I actually have a dream of what I want to be in the future, but I have a great job that I'm doing right now. That's why you can't rush towards your dream. It takes time and effort to make your dream a reality. Speaking about this to your family and closest friends will help you feel better about yourself, and they will feel better as well." Issei said as the guy replied to him.
"Yeah, well I don't have any close friends. I have some friends but none that really care about me. And why bother with college now since most people are looking for the easy way out with those Sekirei."
"Well, why haven't you gotten a Sekirei if you want to take the easy way out?"
"Well, why do you care?"
"Because I may not be a friend of yours, but I know that the easy way is never the right answer since if you always try to take the easy way then you won't be able to challenge yourself and grow as a person."
"Oh, here we go."
"Your damn right here we go. You open doors for strangers. You let a car pass you by so what? And if you want good friends? Then be a good friend. They will find you; I promise."
"You could go on all night but that still doesn't explain how the easy way isn't the right one."
"No. I don't have an explanation for that but let me tell you that I've seen many people struggle with more pain than you're going through right now. You failed your exam? How about feeling like shit when you learn your older siblings that were supposed to be born died from miscarriage and only lived for only a few minutes until they died in your mother's arms? Or what about seeing your loved ones dead and leaving you alone for so long that you close yourself off from everyone around you? I've seen more people struggle with depression, anxiety, loneliness, and so much more. My dream is to become a doctor so that one day I can help families never go through the same pain that my mother went through when she held my older siblings in her arms before they died." Issei said as the guy was shocked by this before he bowed his head and apologized for Issei's deceased siblings.
"It's fine but the point is that many people go through so much more pain than you can imagine but what makes those moments is that they choose whether to let that moment drag them down or they use it to pick themselves back up and become better than they were before. So, it's not the end of the world. Pick yourself up and get back into the fight. Show your old man how awesome you really are." Issei said as the guy seemed to be crying before he thanked Issei for his kinds of words. Issei smiled back before helping him to his female companion, but Issei could tell that the girl was grateful for the conversation.
After the man left with his spirits lifted a bit, Issei went back to the bar and served a few more customers which was easier now since the talk helped Issei gain more confidence and respect from the bar owner and his original customers. Kagari was also amazed by how Issei dealt with the customer before realizing that Issei had very good intentions and knew when to back off from other when they needed space. His heart began to pound hard in his chest as Kagari began to shake off the feeling that made the warm feeling he had felt around Issei skyrocket to the passion of a blazing inferno.
Eventually, he was able to calm down from the reaction telling him to take Issei to the break room and wing him there. Kagari's client showed up which helped him calm down and focus on his client to hopefully get a reaction from her. Issei on the other hand scanned the room for any sign of trouble but still kept his focus going back to Kagari like always. As time went on Issei would look around the room to see what different kind of people they had in today when he noticed a girl siting at a table by herself looking at him. She looked to be a beautiful young foreign woman with blonde hair and sky-blue eyes. She wore a girl gakuran, with armor worn on top of it. When she saw Issei looking back, she gave him a seductive smile and winked. Issei blushed at the reaction, trying to figure out how to respond until five guys came rushing into the bar, pulling his focus. One looking around frantically. The guy looked over at Kagari and his client and got pissed stomping over.
"What the fuck are you doing with my girlfriend?"
"Girlfriend? Wait you just said you were single." Kagari asked as the girl was scared before the guy reached out to Kagari.
"Get your hands off my girl before I-"
Issei quickly got in between the guy and Kagari. "Is there a problem sir?"
"A problem? This fucker is with my girl. Get out of my way!" The guy shouted as he tried to shove Issei to the side but as soon as his hand touched Issei, the guy soon ended up on the floor pinned with his arm behind his back with Issei on top of him.
"Please calm down sir. This is a bar, not fight club. I understand that you are angry but causing trouble is not going to help you so can't we just discuss this like gentlemen?" Issei asked as he was playing the host before Issei felt a punch connect to his face that threw him back to Kagari's table which cracked and broke underneath Issei which made him a bit dizzy until he stood up and looked at Kagari and his client.
"Stay back. I'll take care of this." Issei said as he brushed off his uniform before looking at the five guys. "Look. We don't need to fight with others all around us. Can't we just talk this out before we do something that'll do more harm than good?"
Unfortunately, it fell on deaf ears as the guys all charged at Issei which made him sigh at the five as he punched the first guy he pinned in the face before kneeing him in the stomach to make him go down for a while as the other four charged at Issei. Two with a switchblade knife while the other two handguns which caused the crowd to run out for the bar through the back while Issei rushed to the two gunmen.
The two began to shoot at Issei which was hard since he was fast, but Issei took some of the bullets like a champ before he got close enough to disarm them and throw away the guns. Issei then smashed their heads together thanks to the Sahashi strength which caused them both to fall to the ground clutching their heads before Issei knocked them out with a kick to their bald heads.
The two guys with knives tried to stab Issei but Issei was able to avoid them since their moves were sloppy but when Issei felt cornered one guy tried to stab him but only got his arms due to Issei blocking the attack before grabbing the knife hand and snapped the guy's wrist.
"Ah! You broke my wrist!" The guy cried before Issei punched him in the chest which caused the man to wheeze heavily before Issei knocked him out with a strike to the back of his neck due to the handle of the knife being used to hit his pressure point.
The last guy yelled as Issei began to fight him with the switchblade before the man threw the knife at Kagari which made Issei sprint over to the table and took the knife to his back which made Issei wince a bit before he grabbed the handle of the knife and pulled out out before throwing them two knives at the last guy who got stabbed in his left shoulder and right leg which made him fall to his knee before Issei grabbed a taser from the girl and used it on the guy which made him pass out.
Issei panted a bit as he felt the wound on his back slowly heal until he heard the police sirens outside. Issei then turned to Kagari and his client before asking them.
"So, how'd I do on my first night?"
Unfortunately, the guy wasn't down as he picked up one of the tossed guns and aimed it at Kagari which caught both of them off guard as Issei moved and took the bullet to his heart.
Kagari gasped as he watched Issei fall down to the ground as the guy then passed out.
"ISSEI!"
After reviewing the security footage to the police and turning in their witness statements, as well as checking on Issei's injuries and giving him a clean bill of health, the two were let go, as well as the woman who was apparently the ex-girlfriend of the leader who didn't take kindly to the woman for leaving him since he was a bit 'rough' with her. The woman thanked the two for saving her until they departed ways and Kagari was looking at Issei's back as he could feel the wound before he stopped walking as Issei stopped under a lamppost.
"Hm? Is something wrong Kagari?" Issei asked as Kagari clenched his fists at his side before asking Issei a question.
"Why did you do it?"
Issei was confused by the question so he replied as best he could. "He was threatening you and your client so of course I stepped in to-!"
"No. I mean why did you take that knife for me?" Kagari asked as if he needed to know why but Issei couldn't believe the question and replied.
"The knife was flying towards your head and if I hadn't taken it then you would've been seriously injured or your client. Besides I heal fast, so it wasn't that big of a deal." Issei replied as Kagari looked at Issei as if he was crazy before growling.
"Not that big of a deal. Is that what you're calling it?" Kagari asked before walking towards Issei and pinned him to the wall. "You literally got a knife stuck in your back and now have a scar there! You didn't have to take the knife since I would've been just fine as well as my client! You could've died or gotten seriously hurt if that knife hit your spine! Do you think you are some kind of God or immortal that you don't feel pain! Why do you always have to be the one to save people?"
"I wanted to help you! Is that so wrong with wanting to help people? I have these gifts and you think I wouldn't use them to protect my friends and family?"
"Even if it means harming yourself?! You took a bullet for me Issei and you didn't have to! It was meant for me so why do you always have to take the hits for others instead!?" Kagari yelled as he didn't give a care about his reaction before shouting to his face.
"What if I had lost you from that bullet!?" Kagari shouted to Issei's face which surprised Issei before Kagari registered what he had said before he decided to confess his feelings to him.
"You are so stubborn you make me worry about you and your kindness and warmth make me feel like I am safe around you. I'm jealous when you're with the others instead of me but I don't give a damn anymore about this feeling I've been holding in." Kagari said as he looked at Issei's eyes before wrapping his arms around her neck.
"I love you, Issei Hyoudou. You made me fall for you idiot." Kagari said as he kissed Issei's lips which shocked him as wings of fire emerged from the Kagari's back before he felt Kagari's tongue enter his mouth as if he wanted to treasure this moment between just the two of them. Yuuma asked as Issei didn't want to lie to her so he told her that he was an Ashikabi and introduced his Sekirei to Yuuma and apologized for not telling her but due to the rules he couldn't do so which Yuuma didn't seem to mind since she could understand his reasons until Yuuma smiled and looked at Issei with a loving smile before sitting on his lap.
"You can make it up to me by taking both Matsu and me on a date. Oh, and when we're done with the fun part." Yuuma said before leaning into his ears and whispered. "I'm going to show you so much pleasure you'll be in Heaven with a slice of Hell."
Yep, things are about to get heated in Shinto Teito.

As for the Konosuba one, many of you want either a Random Hero or Aqua being Issei's human form so let me know what kind of Random hero you would want to include since I plan on their being rogue incarnations in the Konosuba world.
