A Ruby Friendship
The wizard went off to fight the Goblin King and Scarbi while Anne watched over the tin man's motionless form.
Anne began to sing, hoping it might break Scarbi's spell upon the tin man.
Anne: A million thoughts in my head;
Should I let my heart keep listening;
I know it's time to say good bye;
So hard to let go...
The ruby sneakers glowed, making tin man slowly open his eyes.
"Cheetah Cub? What happened?" the tin man asked Anne.
"Scarbi hit you with a spell to make you cold and sleepy, so, I used my ruby sneakers to wake you up." Anne explained to the tin man.
Anne helped the tin man to his feet.
"Thanks for the rescue, Anne." the tin man said.
"Any time." Anne said to the tin man.
Scarbi looked at Anne with anger in her eyes.
