Anne Returns Home
Once back at the Emerald City castle, Anne took the ruby sneakers off her feet.
"Here, Queen Rosma, as the rightful ruler of Oz," Anne said. "I think the ruby sneakers belong to you."
Queen Rosma pushed Anne's hands with the sneakers in them away.
"Keep them," Queen Rosma said to Anne. "so you will always have a way to return to Oz, as well as to remember your friends here."
Anne then put the sneakers back on her feet.
The scarecrow looked at Anne, "You about ready to go back home?" he asked her.
"Yes." Anne answered the scarecrow.
"Then, you know how to make those shoes of yours work!" the lion joked.
Anne jumped up and down three times, "There's no place like home, there's no place like home." she said.
A little while later, Anne found herself back at Winston Prep.
Anne took the ruby sneakers off, placed them back in her gym bag, and put her school uniform mary janes back on her feet.
Anne was shortly joined by her siblings and James.
"What happened?" Suzie asked, she was unaware that Guinevere had merged souls with her.
"Wakarimasenga," Alan yawned, stretching high to the ceiling. "gussuri nemuremashita!"
"You and your Japanese, Alan." Henry groaned irritably.
"I've missed you all! I had to go back to Oz!" Anne revealed.
Most of Anne's siblings patted her shoulders, but Nancy, Mimi, and Scooter all simply shook their heads in disbelief.
