Koromaru 01/05
Koromaru Loves his humans. He is loyal, and Loyalty is made with love. He loved his first one, and he loves the current ones he has followed into the Dark Hour, and up the tower of Death. They have a fancy name for it, but he knows what his nose tells him, and that can be truer than any name is.
Dying- Kindness- Chef wishes to keep all of those traits a secret, according to what Breathing- Death tells Loyal -Metal -Heart. Koromaru loves him for it, and likes to spend his time with Dying -Kindness -Chef. No one should die alone.
Child-with- Secrets, and Reckless-Zio-Energy also like to spend time him, so Koromaru is not too worried about that. There is always tension between them, but the humans all seem to spend time doing things that make them tense. It must be exhausting to be human. Koromaru is glad he is a dog, and doesn't have to be tense all the time. It's nice to relax and roll in the grass.
Pressured -Boss -Lady envies him that. Koromaru always invites her to roll in the grass with him, but she never takes him up on it. Loyal-Metal-Heart tells him that activity does not relax her. They could all use a good roll in the grass, in Koromaru's opinion. He asks her what would relax him.
Uncertain-Inferno- Seeker likes baseball, she tells him. And Scout of the hunt, likes to try to cook.
Scout of the hunt, can not cook, Koromaru tells her.
Loyal Metal Heart knows, and clarifies she put the emphasis on the word try. Koromaru does not believe she can replace Dying-Kindness-Chef, but if she truly wishes to, he recommends she should learn while he still draws breath.
The one known as Yukari is harder to define. Healing and the destructive force of wind combined into one person, a contradiction of nature. The humans are contradictory with elements by nature of Personas, and Koromaru is undecided on why she stands out in this. The dog he is by the humans he loves, is a different dog from the humans he fears, and different still from the humans he does not know yet. Perhaps his hesitance comes from the face she hides behind the abrasive ones. Yukari is not as easily honest, and so a essence would be hard to determine at this point.
Koromaru followed them up the tower of Death, and so he has no hesitance in following them into uncanny mazes in the clocktowers. They team up with a ghost and a once god, who has made himself something other to be with her.
Koromaru knows what is going on, even when his humans don't hear it. He has fantastic ears.
-Once there was a girl named Niko. She died.-
The Maze tells him. He does not tell Loyal-Metal-Heart. Some things need the journey to be discovered properly. The walk is more important than the destination, for the destination is always an end.
The whispers in the maze become more detailed the further in they go.
Once there was a girl named Niko. She died. And when she stood in front of another Death, she demanded to be killed for she did not want to live anymore.
-And so he locked her memories away-

-She asked her reason for living-
-so he sealed away his memories-
To Koromaru, being alive is enough of a reason for living. But Humans (and ex humans) seem to need more.
When one of the uncovered treasures makes people reminiscence about Birthdays, Rei is distressed that she can not remember hers. Koromaru offers her his birthday to share, he does not know when it is, but he rightfully guesses that Loyal-Metal-Heart would know.
Rei seems delighted, and Koromaru did not know that solid ghosts could smell emotional like that, but it is a happy discovery.
It is even happier then the day he decided Yukari smelled like Chaotic-Healing-Wind.
Smells are important, and the smell of humans celebrating belongs to the same level of importance as food. Particularly food made by Dying-Kindness-Chef.
