In the next 3-5 days I am hoping to get 3-4 different chapters out, one each night except I might skip a night for chapter 9 and make that one double the length so it might take a little longer I haven't decided on exactly how it's going to work yet, because I want to handle a lot of material and I don't want to make the chapters too long so I decided to make more of them instead of making them too long. Also two new characters are going to be shadowed in chapter 8 can you guess who they are I'll give you their initials and a few other hints. And I promise on my very soul not to kill them, I love them too much for them to die.

Ch.8 – Old Friends

Luffy was crying as he held Ace's cold dead blood drenched body in his hands, everyone watched as tears of blood dripped down his cheeks. Zoro sat down beside him trying to calm him down the best he could, he didn't want Luffy to lose control of himself since his wings had come out again and his tail had ripped from its place around his waist. Luffy put his hand above Ace's body trying to use his powers to bring him back, Ace's body shined and the blood all disappeared; all of his wounds healed up but nothing past that happened; Luffy just continued to cry still as he looked at his elder brother knowing that it wasn't going to work and that he could not drag his brothers soul back because he had been dead for too long. He felt like this was the end as he looked beside himself and saw the face Zoro was making, he scouted closer to Zoro and hugged him, "I'm okay, but we were too late, if we had been here earlier then I would have been able to save him."

Zoro hugged Luffy, "Are you sure your okay?"

Luffy nodded in to his chest, knowing that even if he wasn't he had to pretend to be "Yeah, But we need to go now, If we stay any longer we'll all be in danger, everyone follow me closely."

Luffy closed his brothers eyes, set a sheet over him and then headed out; they snuck out of the main house to the garage, when they got their Luffy went to the corner felling the wall for something which he must of found because he quickly kicked in a wall, there was a small passage behind the wall that they all walked down for quite a while. When they arrived Luffy kicked the door open and walked in with his wings out and his tail ready in case he needed to attack someone, luckily none of the attackers had found this place yet, as soo as he thought it was safe his wings settled down from attack mode to rest on his back and his tail was down low now hovering above the ground just slightly. He walked across the room and clicked a button on the wall, it caused a large metal gate to open which let in a lot of light. He walked over to the truck in the corner, and reached under the driver door finding the key on a hook on the frame, the truck was specially made for them to run in case of an attack by Garp, It had all the supplies they would need to be on the run for a while and had weapons and ammo hidden all over the inside. It was also set up so that the seats pulled out in to a large bed that stretched across the whole back. He pointed, "Everyone hurry and get in so we can get away from this place."

Luffy jumped in the driver's seat and Zoro jumped in the passenger's seat, he turned the truck on and head out the door down the small road, it was a long intricate road that if you didn't know where to turn would take forever to get out of if you got out, but as soon as they escaped the testing facility Luffy was forced to memorize the escape route. When he was past the last turn he stopped the vehicle and traded spots with Zoro because he needed to make a phone call. Once he switched seats with Zoro he grabbed the cell phone kept under the passenger's seat and opened it, Nami looked over his shoulder watching as he looked threw the contacts everything was just initials she saw A.P, G.D.M, and many more, the one Luffy clicked on was E.K & T.L, "Ring, Ring, Ring, Click hello?."

Luffy smiled when the person answered, "It's been a while."

The person laughed on the other end, "Yes it has Luffy, and how is Ace doing."

Luffy frowned when the brought up the touchy subject, all he could say was "Not very good."

He could hear the person talking to someone else, in the back ground there were loud noises screams and talking 'who's on the phone?"; "It's Luffy, he said something's wrong with Ace."; "What happened to Ace?"; "Didn't ask yet, Luffy what's wrong with Ace?"

Luffy's voice sound very forced, "He's gone."

There was a loud bang on the other side and the guy on the other line was quite for a short time, Luffy thought he had dropped his phone, "You don't mean..."

Luffy coughed as to hide the distress that he was trying to avoid, even though it was clearly reflected threw the way he was speaking, "Yeah, he's dead."

The person in the background must have dropped something when the person on the other end of the phone told him about Ace, because Luffy heard whatever it was break, "I'm sorry...Luffy what do you need us to do."

Luffys face was neutral, "I need you to pick me and my friends up we need to hide, there coming for me so me and my friends are in danger we need help, I need help, I can't ask anyone else you're the only ones who knows about my change I can't ask anyone else because I'm in that form."

The person on the other line was heard moving, "Go to the meeting place will be there by sunrise to get you, and then well head to the ship, you have the keys with you right, just in case you get there first so you can go inside?"

Luffy turned to and looked at Sanji, "Hey reach under you chair, and throw me the keys that are there." Sanji did as he was asked throwing them up front, Luffy put the necklace with the keys around his neck, and answer; "Yeah I've got them."

The person on the other line responded fast, "Okay will meet you at the place, and phone us if something happens."

Luffy smiled but just a little, "Okay, I'll phone you if we get there first okay."

He could hear a car start on the other line, "Okay then bye."

Luffy heard a click and then closed his phone, he grabbed a leaver on the side of his chair that made it so he could turn it till he was facing the back, he unbuckled his seat belt and walked in between his friends in the back reaching and checking in the cupboards above them for something's. First he took 2 boxes down, and then he grabbed a sweater and a 2 hand guns for just in case. He slid the sweater on and then slid 1 gun in to his shorts in the back to hold it, he handed the other gun to Nami, and then opened the 2 boxes, taking out enough cell phones for everyone, He opened the back window and chucked his original cell phone out so he only had the one from under the seat left, "Everyone your phones leave the truck now."

Like ordered they all threw their cells out the window, "Okay now what Luffy." Nami asked.

He handed the new phones out, "These are your new phones, there already set up for talking and texting, and there is only 1 really important rule, That you do not use full names for anything always use initials in contacts and messages, you can call by name in phone calls though. Now enter everyone's info in the ones, mines already there and Zoro's is already there."

Luffy grabbed another green phone from another cupboard and then sat back in his seat making it face forward again, "Here's yours, I had Ace put it in just in case you ended up stuck with me in a situation like this."

Zoro put it in his pocket after throwing his other phone out his window, he looked at Luffy "You should take a nap well you can you look horrible."

Luffy glanced at him, "I couldn't sleep if I tried, I'll see his face and I don't want to. I'll be fine so tell me if you get tired cause it's a long drive to where were going if I have to I can drive."

Zoro sighed, "Where are we going anywhere?"

Luffy took out his phone and showed Zoro the picture on screen it was a map, "Were going to a small town about 12 hours away, there are sign's to direct you the most of thew way and it's called Ralin. They'll meet us at the docks in the small dock house located there."

Zoro looked back at the road, "Who are we meeting."

Luffy looked out his side window, "There some old friends of mine and Ace's that are also special."

With that Luffy reached under his seat and grabbed a CD putting it in, it was a shinedown CD and the first song to play was 'If you only knew' and then 'The Crow and The Butterfly'. During the ride Luffy just looked out the window between switching CD's to keep his mind off of Ace and Garp dying. He didn't deal with death well, but he had gone through so much in the last few days that it didn't upset him as much as it should have, and he knew he would break down if he mourned anymore for Ace so he didn't let himself feel the pain from Ace's death yet because he was needed at the moment, If he broke down they could all end up dying, So Luffy forced himself to make the pain go away.

After about 6 hours of driving Luffy looked over and noticed that Zoro was beginning to fall asleep, he sat up from his comfee spot and stretched, "Time to switch drivers you're falling asleep."

Zoro looked at him and yawned well mumbling, "I'm fine."

Luffy looked at him, with a dull look, "Hurry up and pull over so we can switch, quit being so stubborn."

Zoro sighed and then Luffy looked back when he heard Sanji's voice, "I'll drive, I've slept enough; I just someone to tell me where to go I'll be fine."

Zoro sighed and stopped the car, "Only if Nami will take Sanji's seat so I can sit behind Luffy."

When the truck pulled over everyone who was moving switched seats and then they continued on their way, Luffy just told him to follow the signs that say Ralin and then they talked about something else. Sanji drove for another 4 hours until Luffy noticed that his eyes were clearly getting sore, "Time to switch, it will be easier if I drive in to town anyways then I can go straight to the meeting place."

Sanji smiled at him, "But I'm fine."

Luffy smiled, "Yeah but I can see it in your eyes there getting sore, and we might need people to drive tomorrow, so if your eyes are hurting that won't be good so let's switch."

With that they switched and well Luffy was driving everyone had fallen asleep so he turned the music off so they would stay asleep as he dropped his smile and acted the way he wanted too, he began talking to himself shortly after wards, "Hey tail your poking me in the back move."

He smiled at his own little joke and laughed to himself, He noticed that his wings made driving rather strange and when he had finally gotten to Ralin his back and arms were killing him because of the way he had to sit. He pulled up to the meeting spot and saw the lights of a vehicle he opened the window, "Hey is that you guys."

The 2 people turned their headlights off and walked over to Luffy as he got out of the truck after turning it off. He walked over to them, "Hey Lu where are your friends."

Luffy pointed back to the truck, "They've all had a long day so they fell asleep, I guess I'm strange because my body works better in dangerous situations like this, it's easy in a situation like that for me to stay awake longer."

The 2 people came closer, the red haired came over and felt Luffy's wing in his hand, "They still look as cool as they did before."

The black haired man walked over and looked at his tail and the blade on the tip, "It's gotten larger and I think more intricate then before. Well are you guys ready to go then."

Luffy nodded, the black haired man looked at the red haired, "Which vehicle are you going to drive?"

The Red head looked at the truck, "That one, take Lu with you and I'll follow behind you guys in that."

They both nodded and then Luffy looked at the red haired man to give him a warning about something he had just remembered that could happen, "Be careful when the green haired man when he wakes up he's going to freak out when I'm not there, He probably won't ask questions, he'll just attack you right after waking."

The Red head just laughed as he climbed in to the truck and then Luffy and the black haired man got in to the Sports car.

So here is chapter 8, its pretty decent in length but not too long like I said I'd make it in the chapter, and once again can you guess who the 2 other characters are, I made it pretty easy to guess. I hope I get reviews with you answers. I also want to ask which of the 2 characters should be closer to Luffy relationship wise, wink ,wink for example like a shoulder for him to cry on.

Also to those how are reading my other stories I am going to update 'I thought we were so different before, but I realize I was wrong' one of my magi fanfic's and I am also going to update 'One piece 100 stories' but i don't know exactly when, and then probably also update 'The Captains Nightmares' with multiple chapters, I know for sure with the magi story I'm almost done the chapter, the 100 stories the chapter is lost in my documents so i have to find it first to finish it, and the Captains nightmares will only happen if I have time, I'll to try to get these stories all updates in at least 3 weeks.
