Spencer didn't have to look far to find where Esme had taken the baby known as Ace to her, but Nikolai to him. She was in one of the examination rooms just a few doors down from Trina's mother's office. He entered trying not to look accusatory. He knew if he put Esme on the defensive, he might never find out what was wrong with his baby brother.

"Esme, why is he here? What's wrong?" Spencer entered the room.

Esme frowned to see Spencer there. She had to wonder if he was following her or something. She had heard about the Cassadine family and how powerful they were. She didn't know why she had gotten involved with them, but she had and after learning what Nikolas Cassadine had done to her, thanks to Nurse Baldwin's guilty conscious, she was suspicious of anyone with the last name, especially Spencer Cassadine. "Are you following me now?"

"No. Trina had to see her mother, who is a doctor here. I saw you bring Nik...I mean Ace...in. What's wrong? Is he okay?"

Esme gave a frustrated sigh and held the baby a tiny bit tighter. "He won't stop crying. I don't know why. I fed him, changed him, and held him. Nothing I do helps!"

Indeed, the baby was fussy. Wanting to help, Spencer held his arms out. "Let me see him. Maybe he'll calm down for me."

Esme frowned and took a step back. "So you can take off with him?"

"I took him to the park yesterday and he came back, didn't he?" Spencer asked, annoyed by the accusation. "I didn't try to kidnap him!"

"Only because Trina was with you!"

"I'm not a kidnapper Esme!"

"I don't see it that way. After all, you are trying to take him away from me."

"Legally! And only because you're a raging psycho! I don't want you using my brother like he's a pawn in some game!"

"I am not that person anymore! When will you stop throwing the past into my face?!"

"When the father you manipulated me into running off comes back, how about that?"

"Excuse me," Dr. Austin Gaitlin Holt stood in the doorway, an awkward smile on his face. "I believe that I'm supposed to examine an Ace Prince?"

"Cassadine."

"What?" The doctor frowned.

"His last name is Cassadine," Spencer sighed, his frustration over the situation clear. If only he had managed to get custody the minute the baby was born.

"Alright, Ace Cassadine. Are you the father?"

"God no," Esme made a face.

"He's my brother," Spencer explained, rolling his eyes. Thank goodness for condoms! He was so glad not to have Esme as a baby momma. That was his father's mistake. Too bad that he still had to deal with her though.

"Okay, let me examine the baby and then I can give you a diagnosis," The doctor smiled, leading Esme to the examination table.

Spencer stood back and watched the doctor check his brother over. He tried to keep still and not pace like he normally did when he was anxious. He wished that Trina was there. Her presence always helped him stay calm.

Fifteen minutes later, the doctor was finished and had a diagnosis.

"Little Ace just has cholic. He'll be fine," The doctor smiled. "I'll have a list drawn up on how to deal with cholic and a prescription that'll help ease his tummy discomfort."

"Thank you, doctor, I am sorry to have taken up so much of your time," Esme apologized, relieved that nothing serious was wrong with her baby.

The doctor just smiled, cooed slightly to the baby, and left to give the front desk instructions on what to give the anxious mother, leaving Spencer alone with Esme and the baby.

"See. Everything is fine. You don't need to be here," Esme glared, not wanting to have anything else to do with the Cassadine heir. "You may go now."

"Can I at least say goodbye to my brother?" Spencer held his arms out, determined not to take no for an answer.

Esme's answer was cold and booked no argument. "You can say goodbye to him without me handing him over to you. Besides, this isn't your visitation day."

Spencer wanted to yell and scream in anger and frustration, but he knew that wouldn't get him anywhere. Spotting Trina walking back with her mother, Spencer pursed his lips and then looked back at Esme and the baby. "I'll see you Saturday, Nikolai. Trina and I will do something special with you then. Be sure to keep Mommy up, will you?"

He then gave Esme a sardonic smile before leaving, heading straight for Trina, who smiled happily at his approach, but the smile faded a little when she saw his stormy expression.

"Is the baby ok?" She asked concerned, glancing over to where Esme was leaving, gripping the baby tightly to her.

"He has cholic. She wouldn't even let me hold him, can you believe that?" Spencer angrily ranted. "I can't wait until I get my brother away from her!"

"I know you're angry, but a hospital is no place to have it out with her. We'll get your brother. Don't worry," Trina reached out to touch his arm, before turning to her mother. "We'll talk again. Maybe I'll give you a call some time this coming up week."

"I'd like that very much," Portia gave an uncertain smile, wanting to stop her daughter from going off with Spencer Cassadine, but then reminding herself that Trina was not only an adult but a married woman. She didn't want to mess this truce up by acting like a controlling parent.

"Mrs. Ashford," Spencer nodded towards Portia before Trina dragged him away.

Portia watched them go with mixed feelings. She did not want her daughter mixed up with that family, but she knew that the decision wasn't hers to make. She was just going to have to trust that Trina knew what she was doing.

…..

They ended up at Kelly's for lunch. Trina watched Spencer as he sat there and pouted over the situation with his brother. She couldn't help but think that he was so damn cute when he pouted. She just wanted to nibble on that bottom lip and…"

"Are you that hungry?" Spencer stared at her curiously.

"Huh?"

"You're sitting there, staring at me, licking your lips and looking like you want to eat a tasty snack," Spencer smirked, growing amused, realizing what she must have been thinking about, staring at him like that. "Should I be worried? Did my wife turn into a cannibal?"

Trina's face grew hot as she balled up a napkin and tossed it at him. "I hate you!"

"It's not my fault that I'm a nummy treat," Spencer laughed even harder, his anger over Ace finally dissipating.

"You certainly are...I mean...damn it, Spencer!" Trina sighed, folding her arms and leaning back in her chair. She wondered if she was always going to be like this, constantly desiring her husband. And Spencer was desirable. He was the utter definition of a nummy treat. God, what were they doing here when there was a nice big house that they had to themselves, a nice comfy bed with a door to lock so she could properly sample all of Spencer's flavors. Her eyes widened at the last thought and grabbed a menu to hide her face, just in case he could tell where her thoughts were going.

Spencer smiled, amused but also rather flattered that Trina desired him as much as she desired her. He wanted to pull away that menu so he could get lost in those lovely hot chocolate eyes. But he didn't want to embarrass her anymore either, so he picked up his own menu to look over the offerings.

"You know, it's ok to feel this way and we have our whole lives just to be together."

Trina lowered her menu and smiled. "I'm not used to being this...obvious. Usually, I just pine after the hot guy and keep quiet with him unaware of my admiration. But you...there's no hiding from you. You read me like an open book."

"You think I'm hot?" Spencer arched a brow.

"Hello! Have you looked at yourself, lately? You're one of the most gorgeous men in Port Charles. Tall, handsome, mysterious...with the gothic name…"

"Funny, I was a very nerdy kid. I guess I grew out of it."

He certainly had. "I bet you were cute, though."

Spencer just shrugged and put down his menu. "I think I'll just do the regular BLT. What about you?"

"I heard that the chili is excellent."

Trina frowned, not hungry anymore….not for food anyway. She looked outside and noticed that it was raining. "The car is parked outside, right?"

"Sure," Spencer shrugged, not hungry anymore as well. "Want to go home and get some hot chocolate?"

"I have an even better idea than that," Trina grinned, her eyes lighting up with something that Spencer only saw in the most private of settings.

"What are you up to, my queen?"

Trina's smile was coy and tempting. "Come find out, Preppy. Hurry, don't make me wait. I'm not going to ask you to draw me like one of your French girls either...if you know what I mean?"

Spencer's eyes grew wide and he laughed. "Lead the way…"

…..

The car was brand new, a gift from Spencer's Uncle Sonny. Usually, he'd drive it with the hood down, but this time the hood was up and the windows... were foggy. Dex Heller recognized the car as belonging to his boss's nephew, who seemed to hate his guts. Maybe he shouldn't enter Kelly's after all. He wasn't in the mood for a confrontation. He was about to turn and leave when a hand suddenly slammed up against the back window and fell back down again, leaving a handprint. It was a scene out of one of his girl's favorite movies and he could only imagine what was taking place in the back seat of the vehicle.

Shaking his head, he went inside, wondering if he and Joss should try the same thing. After all, sex on a couch couldn't be any different than getting it on in the backseat of a car, right?

(A/N: Usually, the couples I write about aren't as lustful and sexual as Sprina, but there's just something about this couple that is bringing it out in me. Maybe it was the sight of Spencer in a towel...lol)
