Chapter 14: The Ultimate Battle Part 2
In Ashford Academy...
SLAP!
Nina dropped on the ground and held her slapped left cheek as Milly, Shirley and Rivalz glared down at her.
"All this time you remembered Nunnally and didn't bother telling us!"Milly scowled coldly as she placed her hand up. "You still remembered even when I met you in China!"
"Emperor Schneizel said it was necessary to keep everything from all of you."Nina admitted. "Just so I can finally kill Zero to avenge Princess Euphemia!"
A scoff escaped from Shirley's mouth.
"How could you?!"Shirley snapped angrily. "We are your friends, Nina! Our memories were changed and Nunna, the person we all knew was ripped away from our own heads!"
"As Nunnally's replacement, we had Rolo, who was a damned assassin that was hired by the dead emperor to spy on Lelouch and would've killed Shirley, if was not for Sabrina!"Rivalz retorted. "Doesn't that mean anything to you?"
Nina looked down, not knowing what to say.
"All you really cared about was making a horrible weapon that killed millions of people around the world as well as make them suffer only to avenge someone, who you just met once in your life. And you call us the people who have no depth."Milly retorted. "Do you honestly think Princess Euphemia would even approve of you blowing city after city in the world? If you think she would, this means you are totally lost and worse as Suzaku!"
"I…"Nina started.
"We are not supporters of Emperor Schneizel because how corrupted and the monster he truly is."Shirley admitted. "The three of us want Lelouch and Nunna to win. The same goes with the Black Knights."
"At least, they want to build a world where all of us are free and happy."Rivalz said.
In the Ikaruga…
Lelouch, Nunnally, Kaguya and all the people within the Ikaruga were shocked at seeing the forces of the Black Knights gotten wiped out by Emperor Schneizel, Guinevere and Carine's own Flagships.
Nunnally was hurt by her half-siblings' actions while Lelouch just gritted his teeth in anger.
"I can't believe they just did that."Nunnally said with a startled look.
The Leader of the Black Knights glanced at Hinata, Minase and Ayame.
"What are our loses?!"Lelouch demanded.
Hinata, Minase and Ayame began checking through the forces that were still intact and the units that were lost.
Inside the Granberry…
"Princess Marrybell, we have lost 50% of our forces!"An operator reported.
Marrybell shut her eyes, hiding her grief on seeing most of the forces that were within the Glinda Knights as well as the UFN and the Black Knights gone.
In the Sky…
In the Cleopatra, Sabrina was angry and disgusted of seeing her reluctant relatives use their flagships to wipe out some of the Black Knights' forces.
"I can't believe they just did that without any remorse. I'm actually not surprised. The Britannian Royal Family only know how to destroy things."Sabrina thought with a cold glare, holding the controls of her Knightmare tightly. "Yet, Ohgi supported that silver tongued prince's madness, and called my dad a con man for extremely blind promises. Hopefully, Japan won't be at the hands of an idiot anymore when this is all over."
Sabrina then heard Lelouch's voice within her Knightmare like Kallen, C.C, Anya, Tohdoh and Chiba.
"Black Knights! Keep distracting the Knights of the Rounds!"Lelouch's voice rang out. "The moment that Bismarck is down, all of you move so that none of you are caught up in the blast!"
"Right!"Kallen and Sabrina answered in unison.
In the Enyo Flagship…
Carine had a smug yet evil smile on her face at seeing most of Zero's forces wiped out.
"That was amazing."Carine sneered and lightly clapped. "They all looked like helpless little bugs that were getting utterly crushed."
Inside the Hestia Flagship…
Guinevere let out a chuckle.
"Those fools now don't stand a chance."Guinevere murmured delightedly before giving out an order. "All forces wipe them out!"
In the Sky…
Suzaku, Bismarck, Nonette, Gino, Dorothea and Monica's Knightmares prepared to attack along with the other Britannian Forces.
"With pleasure."Bismarck said smugly.
"Let's take them down!"Gino chuckled.
"These naive fools are done for."Dorothea retorted.
"We'll end Zero from here!"Suzaku stated.
Inside the Avalon…
Both Schneizel and Kanon smirked at what they were seeing on the monitor.
"It seems that neither Lelouch and that quarter-eleven pest have badly underestimated the fighting skills and tactics of our side."Kanon complemented.
In the Sky…
Kallen, Sabrina, C.C, Tohdoh, Chiba and Anya continued fighting against their opponents once again.
The Knights of the Round unleashed their mighty attacks, but the Guren, the Mordred, the Cleopatra and other Knightmares that were allied with the Order of the Black Knights were doing the best they can against them.
The Cleopatra got punched by the Galahad, but activated her shield from getting punched again.
"What's the matter, Sabrina vi Britannia?"Bismarck mocked with a smug smile. "Have fear finally overtook your spiteful vengeful spirit."
From inside her cockpit, Sabrina gritted her teeth as she glared at Bismarck.
"Sabrina, you shouldn't exhaust yourself with fighting Bismarck."Lelouch's voice rang out. "I'll have Jeremiah help you."
"Please, don't."Sabrina replied firmly. "It won't be necessary."
"What? But you're facing Bismarck with his geass."Lelouch warned with a hint of worry. "I don't want him claiming your life."
"I am not backing down."Sabrina declared with a determined look. "I chose to fight Bismarck, the strongest Knight of the Round known probably throughout the Britannian history. And I'll make sure to be fully prepared for my choice of actions."
In the Ikaruga…
Lelouch, Nunnally, Rakshata, Diethard, Kaguya, Sayoko and the others were astonished by Sabrina's declaration.
"Sabrina…"Lelouch said in awe.
In the Sky…
Bismarck just smirked evilly at the respond from the red haired girl.
"Very well, Lady Sabrina."Bismarck complemented. "I will see to it that you have an honourable death. Think of it as putting you out of your misery."
Bismarck brought out the Excalibur of his Galahad, ready to attack.
Sabrina didn't say anything and simply closed her eyes.
The red haired girl then made the Cleopatra fly up high before continuing its fight against the Galahad again.
Bismarck was easily blocking each of Sabrina's attacks due to using his Geass.
The Cleopatra was moving around and the Knight of One was quickly keeping his eyes on it.
The Cleopatra charged and shot one of her slash harkens at the Galahad which the Knight of One slapped it away to another direction.
"I am the strongest knight of the empire."Bismarck declared. "That is why you'll lose, foolish child."
"The bigger fools I only see is the ones that are willing to risk their lives for the huge filthy snake that claims themselves to be their Emperor."Sabrina remarked. "And your one of them."
"Your life won't have meaning anymore once you are exposed."Bismarck stated. "I should just end this now so that I can finish off the others. That includes the ones you call mother and father."
Hearing Bismarck threatening to kill her future parents, Sabrina's gaze hardened and the Cleopatra began charging towards the Galahad.
"As if I'll allow that to happen!"Sabrina snapped.
Bismarck smirked as he got ready to easily counter the Cleopatra as he began bringing the Galahad's Excalibur back for a full swing.
"Farewell, unworthy adversary."Bismarck declared.
The Cleopatra collided with the Galahad causing a cloud of smoke and a huge spark to happen in the process.
Suddenly, the Cleopatra appeared a few inches behind the Galahad.
Bismarck became startled while Sabrina just smirked smugly.
"Goodbye."Sabrina announced in a slight grim tone.
The Cleopatra took out its knife-like sword and slashed the Galahad directly from behind.
Bismarck froze in shock as sparks began to flash uncontrollably in his damaged Knightmare causing it to be split in half by its vibration.
"No. I have failed."Bismarck said in regret. "I have failed you Emperor Charles, Lady Marianne. Forgive me."
The Galahad exploded and Bismarck, the Knight of One, was killed.
Suzaku, Gino, Monica, Dorothea and Nonette were shocked at Bismarck's demise.
"Lord Bismarck!"Monica shouted.
"I can't believe it."Suzaku said in disbelief. "She just beat the Knight of One."
"That's my girl!"Kallen praised proudly.
In the Ikaruga…
Lelouch sighed with a relieved smile while the others cheered at Sabrina defeating Bismarck.
Rakshata simply smirked as she smoked from her kiseru pipe.
"What did you expect?"Rakshata questioned in amusement. "She was piloting one of my children."
Diethard grinned at the scene that he just witnessed.
"And I'm making sure to save this for the history books."Diethard sneered.
Inside the Enyo and Hestia Flagships…
Guinevere and Carine were stunned at seeing Bismarck being defeated.
"What a disappointment."Guinevere scoffed.
"Bismarck just got defeated?!"Carine said angrily. "I guess we have to teach these pieces of trash some manners!"
"Carine. Guinevere."Schneizel spoke up. "Neither of you don't pay your attention towards the Black knights. It's their allies that I want first officially disposed of."
Carine was upset by the order of her older half-brother.
"Are you seeing what's happening, Schneizel?!"Carine demanded. "My units are losing thanks to Orange and those EU scumbags! It's Lelouch and Nunnally that I want to dispose more than anything!"
"50% of their units have been destroyed."Guinevere complemented. "We can finish them off with ease now."
There was silence before the 99th Emperor of Britannia gave out an order.
"Very well."Schneizel declared. "Order some of your units to take down those of the Black Knights and…Marrybell's.
Both Carine and Guinevere smirked at hearing Schneizel giving them permission to expose Lelouch and Nunnally.
In the Sky…
The soldiers within the Britannian forces were angry over the death of Bismarck.
"Bismarck has been defeated!"
"Impossible!"
"You cowardly elevens will pay for this!"
Some of the units under Guinevere and Carine's orders began to attack the other units of the UFN and the Black Knights that were around the Ikaruga and the Granberry.
This almost made the Enyo and Hestia surrounded by most of its units.
The Siegfried destroyed two Gareths as Jeremiah notice the Britannian forces scattered in a strange way though they were still attacking.
"Are you noticing this, Lady Oldrin?"Jeremiah asked.
Oldrin destroyed a few more enemy Knightmares.
"The way they're opening themselves are strange, Orange."Oldrin informed. "But they don't seem to follow what Emperor Schneizel wants them to do."
In the Ikaruga…
Lelouch studied the battle scene in front of him as he narrowed his eyes.
"Schneizel is up to something."Lelouch retorted. "It is not like him to allow his own followers to ignore his orders and do their own things."
Sayoko glanced at Lelouch.
"Master Lelouch."Sayoko spoke up. "If his allowing this to happen, that can only mean one thing."
Lelouch's glare simply sharpened since he knew what the 99th Emperor of Britannia was planning to do.
In the Merlin…
"It's very unlike you to allow Princess Guinevere and Carine to disobey orders, Emperor Schneizel."Kanon complemented.
Kanon glanced at Schneizel, who strangely had a calm look on his face.
"Your Majesty?"Kanon asked.
"No matter if the Knight of One is gone."Schneizel informed simply. "They only just let themselves to another disadvantage."
"Huh?"Kanon said in confusion.
Schneizel then contacted Lila.
"Lila."Schneizel responded and smiled evilly. "It is time to unleash the F.L.E.I.J.A."
Lloyd simply smirked while Cecile glanced worriedly at Schneizel.
In the Garden of Damocles…
Lila paled at hearing Schneizel's declaration as she clenched the key of the Damocles' F.L.E.I.J.A.
"Y-Yes."Lila responded and pushed the button. "With this act, I will finally stop Lelouch and Nunnally."
In the Sky…
Dorothea cried out in shock as the Zangetsu was able to badly damage the Geraint.
"I can't believe this happened!"Dorothea scowled.
Then Dorothea's Knightmare exploded, killing her.
Anya's Mordred unleashed its small green shield to prevent an attack from Gino's Tristan.
"Anya, are you really fine what you're seeing?!"Gino questioned. "The Knights of the Round and the rest of the Britannian forces being killed in front of you?!"
Anya slightly frowned at Gino's respond.
Suddenly, an F.L.E.I.J.A warhead was launched from the Damocles.
This caused Kallen, Sabrina, Akito, Leila and the others to get shocked.
"Lelouch!"Kallen warned. "A F.L.E.I.J.A has been released!"
In the Ikaruga…
"He finally launched it!"Lelouch shouted and glanced at Anna. "Anna! Have your W-0 Squad pilots sent out their drones!"
Anna began typing something on her small computer that was connected to a network.
"Got it!"Anna responded.
The W-0 squad members typed a few commands to have their pilots' Knightmares activate their drones.
"Drones coming right up!"Olivia commented.
In the Sky…
Akito, Leila, Ryo, Ayano and Yukiya unleashed drones from the shoulders of their Knightmares.
"Let's hope they work!"Ayano commented.
"I think the same thing."Akito responded.
The drones were sent towards the F.L.E.I.J.A to stick lances on the launching warhead.
In the Merlin…
Schneizel just smirked at seeing the W-0 Squad sent out drones to try and stop the F.L.E.I.J.A.
"Poor deluded fools."Schneizel commented smugly. "The F.L.E.I.J.A. went critical the moment it was fired from the Damocles."
In the Sky..
The F.L.E.I.J.A. exploded taking a couple of the drones with it which caused a huge sphere-like explosion.
In the Ikaruga…
"All units, continue to fall back and avoid getting in the range of the F.L.E.I.J.A. at all times!"Lelouch ordered.
Nunnally looked at Lelouch.
"Lelouch, will you be able to stop the F.L.E.I.J.A. by using the drones?"Nunnally suggested.
"I'm afraid not for long, Nunnally."Lelouch answered.
Anna checked information in her computer before glancing at the leader of the Black Knights.
"Lelouch, our pilots won't be able to last much longer."Anna informed. "We don't have enough drones."
"We're very sorry that we weren't able to make more."Ferilli apologised.
Lelouch shook his head and smiled gratefully at the people around him.
"It's fine. I appreciate that all of you are doing this. Thank you."Lelouch declared before becoming serious. "Regardless, how many weapons and Knightmares we have left, we must not surrender. Otherwise, the whole world is in danger."
In Horai Island…
Cornelia laid down resting on a bed with a couple of bandages wrapped around her arms and shoulders from where Schneizel's machine shot her.
Guilford sat on a chair beside her bed.
"It appears I was wrong about some things, Guilford."Cornelia admitted sadly. "I truly believed like the rest of my siblings that endlessly waging wars on all foreign nations was the only way to expand and conquer them to cement the dominance of Britannia. And I was willing to give my life to let that happen. I came completely obsessed with my duty that I couldn't see through my father…and Lady Marianne's deception. So, I allowed to have countless lives to be lost. I guess I forgot what it actually means to be human."
"Princess, you aren't the only one."Guilford assured. "All of us did the same mistakes you did."
Cornelia reached out her hand and Guilford took it.
"Guilford, I was unworthy of your devotion."Cornelia said happily. "But I'm grateful just the same."
"Now that you both know what the truth is, neither of you won't do those same mistakes again."A female voice declared.
Cornelia and Guilford both became stunned at the sudden yet familiar voice they just heard.
They looked to the entrance to the medical room, only to become utterly shocked who was the person standing there.
It was Euphemia.
"Princess Euphemia?"Guilford said in disbelief.
"E-Euphie?"Cornelia asked.
"Hello, sister."Euphemia greeted with a weak smile.
"You can't be real!"Cornelia denied. "This is a lie! You can't be Euphie! My little sister…my little sister is-"
Euphemia just walked forward and bent down to hold Cornelia's hand to show it was her.
"Sister, it's really me."Euphemia assured.
More tears began to appear in Cornelia's eyes before emotionally hugging her younger sister and slowly stroked her bubblegum pink hair.
"Euphie!"Cornelia sobbed with tears of joy.
Euphemia hugged Cornelia back as tears appeared in her bluish violet eyes.
"I'm so sorry for everything."Cornelia cried regretfully. "I wasn't a good sister to you and made you feel worthless."
"I forgive you and I'm sorry too, Cornelia."Euphemia assured.
Guilford didn't say anything as he watched the view in front of him with a smile on his face.
Back in the Battlefield…
There were blasts, missiles and various other attacks that the Order of the Black Knights and the Britannian Forces were exchanging against each other.
Despite the release of the F.L.E.I.J.A., Anya's Mordred continued clashing against Gino's Tristan while Kallen's Guren fought against Suzaku's Lancelot Albion.
With Tohdoh's help, Chiba ended Monica and her Bedivere.
Nonette's Perceval ended up defeating C.C's Zikisan Frontier, but the immortal witch was able to dispatch herself from her knightmare before it exploded.
So Sabrina and her Cleopatra was now against the Knight of Nine.
The Cleopatra went in quick speed as it dodged the missiles from the Perceval.
"The way you actually fight is interesting, mystery pilot."Nonette sneered. "But that won't help you. Even though you defeated the Knight of One."
Sabrina smirked back at Nonette.
"Your skills are impressive too, Lady Nonette."Sabrina said simply. "I expected nothing else from Cornelia's senior."
Kallen and Suzaku faced each other in their knightmare frames.
"Kallen, you are that desperate to kill me?"Suzaku questioned.
"It is very clear that I've misjudged you, Suzaku."Kallen snarled. "You are deep down a selfish man who haven't got no qualms in oppressing others. It's still disgusting that you told me Zero and your father were the same and thought the word revolved around them a year ago in Kamine Island."
From inside the Lancelot Albion, Suzaku glared at Kallen.
"I don't care what you say, Kallen."Suzaku retorted. "I'm going to put an end to all this. All the suffering and pain I went through will be over once I defeat you and kill Lelouch."
A raging anger started rising upon Kallen at hearing Suzaku willing to kill her and the man she loved which meant wiping away Sabrina's existence.
"Then I'll make sure you never succeed!"Kallen snapped with rage in her eyes. "The very corrupt hypocritical elitist that constantly betray everyone around him just to suit his needs!"
Kallen then fired the Radiant Wave Surger and the blast was blocked by the Lancelot Albion's Blaze Luminous.
Inside the Granberry…
Marrybell was contacted by Lelouch as her command room shock a bit from its flagship blocking another enemy blast from outside.
"Marrybell, how are your Glinda Knights holding up?"Lelouch questioned.
"We are doing fine despite our losses, Lelouch."Marrybell responded. "But we can't get the risks of getting hit by the F.L.E.I.J.A."
"The W-0 squad have sent drones though they will only last a bit to slow down these monstrosities. But there is another thing, sister. I have feeling that Schneizel is planning to use those warheads to wipe out Guinevere and Carine's forces along with them."Lelouch declared. "Not just us."
Marrybell and her operators were startled from Lelouch's declaration.
"Are you certain of this?"Marrybell asked.
"I'm sure."Lelouch answered with a frown. "Schneizel has no care for those who follow him and his orders or not."
Marrybell slowly then brings away her fear and gives a calm expression before listening carefully to her half-brother.
"What do you plan to do?"Marrybell questioned.
