Jeanne's tale: Charles
Jeanne and her alternate self continue on their adventure but alternate Jeanne notices something odd. It was her stuffed cat. "Charles?" alternate Jeanne asked.
"Charles?" Jeanne asked.
Charles was moving on its own which confused the older witch. Alternate Jeanne grabbed the stuffed cat "Good to nice you demon." alternate Jeanne said.
Jeanne thought to herself "It must be a demon that possessed the stuffed cat." Jeanne's thought.
"Charles, have you seen Cereza?" alternate Jeanne asked.
"I haven't seen that witch!" Charles said, with a hit of jealousy in his voice.
"We should get moving. The Homunculi are everywhere." Jeanne said.
"Good point." alternate Jeanne said.
The two Jeannes and demon walked and an army of Fractus attacked them. Jeanne summoned another one of her demons, Hekatoncheir, to attack them. While the fingered demons kept the bio weapons at bay while the three heroes escaped underground.
In the underground caverns the three walked "Never knew this caverns existed." alternate Jeanne said.
"Neither did I." Jeanne said.
More Homunculi appeared, having followed them. Charles entered his demon form appearing as his Origins counterpart.
Charles began biting onto some "They taste horrible!" Charles said.
"Let's hope you don't choke on it." Jeanne said.
Alternate Jeanne watched the battle. One of the Fractus survived the demon attack and followed the group. Alternate Jeanne took cover. Jeanne shot at the eyes of the Fractus but it barely did a thing. Voices came up into Jeanne's head as she battled.
These voices were voices of her and Ghost "So why help Cereza if you barely know her?" Jeanne asked.
"Well I've actually traveled into other timelines and met her and you mother seeks the Eyes of the World stating she needs any one of them. But of course she mostly just prefers me and her." Ghost explained.
"It doesn't explain why you're helping me." Jeanne said.
"Well she'll mostly target Cereza but in this timeline where you are the Left Eye mother would possibly target the alternate you as a backup. That's why…." Ghost said.
"That's why I've been summoned to this timeline to protect her." Jeanne correctly guessed what Ghost was going to say.
"Bingo." Ghost said.
"Keep an eye on Cereza." Jeanne said.
"Sir yes sir." Ghost said.
The two Jeannes and Charles defeated the Fractus and continued to the Umbran archives Jeanne found a book which has detailed timelines. Alternate Jeanne looked around "Jeanne smiled remembering when she and Cereza were young.
Jeanne's chapters are short due to mimic the side chapters.
