Chapter 10: The End of the Pursuit

Turn 1: Blue Maiden (4000 LP, 4 cards)

Blue Maiden normal summons Marincess Pascalus (1200/2000) and activates its effect on summon, Special summoning Marincess Blue Tang (1500/1200). On summon, Blue Tang's effect activates, sending Marincess Sea Horse from deck to GY. Blue Maiden uses Blue Tang to Link summon Link 1 Marincess Blue Slug (1500). Blue Tang's effect activates when used as Link material, excavating Marincess Circulation, Marincess Current and Marincess Mandrarinn. She adds Circulation to hand and shuffles the rest back to decks. Blue Slug's effect activates, adding Sea Horse to hand. Blue Maiden uses Blue Slug and Pascalus to Link Summon Link 2 Marincess Coral Anemone (2000). Coral Anemone's effect activates, Special Summoning Blue Slug. Blue Maiden uses Blue Slug and Link 2 Coral Anemone to Link summon Link 3 Marincess Coral Triangle (1500). Coral Triangle's effect activates, sending Marincess Basilalima from hand to GY to add Marincess Wave to hand.

Turn 2: World Traveler (4000 LP, 4 cards)

World Traveler draws and activates World Legacy Survivor, excavating Krawler Axon, World Legacy's Mind Meld, World Legacy - "World Chalice", Deus X-Krawler and Krawler Axon. World Traveler adds Spine and sends the rest to GY. World Traveler Normal Summons Axon (500/1800) and activates the effect of Krawler Soma (2000/2500), flipping Axon face down to special summon itself from hand. World Traveller activates Soma's effect, by reducing it's level by 2 (Soma level: 6 - 4), it can special summon a krawler from deck, hand or GY whose total levels are total Levels equal the amount reduced, in face-up and/or face-down Defense Position. From his deck, he special summons Krawler Dendrite (1300/600) in face up defence position. He uses Dendrite and Soma to Link Summon X-Krawler Qualiark (2000). World Traveller sets Crusadia Krawler and activates World Legacy in Shadow. Now all Krawler monsters gain 200 ATK/DEF (Qualiark ATK: 2000 - 2200).

World Traveler declares battle and attacks Coral Triangle with Qualiark. Since Blue Maiden controls a Link 3 "Marincess" monster, she activates Circulation from hand, she returns Coral Triangle from Extra Deck to Special Summon Marincess Marbled Rock (2500) from Extra Deck, treating it as a Link Summon and Marbled Rock cannot attack or be destroyed by battle this turn. Replace phase occurs and World Traveller cancels the attack. He ends his turn. (4000 LP, 1 card)

Turn 3: Blue Maiden (4000 LP, 3 cards: Wave, Sea Horse and 1 not known card)

Blue Maiden draws and activates Wave from hand since she controls a Link 3 or higher "Marincess" monster, targeting Qualiark. Qualiark's effects are negated and since she she controls a Link 2 or higher "Marincess" monster, all monsters she controls are unaffected by card effects. At this moment, World Traveller activates Crusadia Krawler, summoning itself (300/2100). Since it was summoned to Qualiark's link arrow, World Traveller adds World Legacy Succession to hand.

Marbled Rock attacks and destroys Qualiark (World Traveller: 4000 - 3700). Since Marbled Rock destroyed Qualiark and she controls a Link 3 or higher "Marincess" monster, she activates current from hand, World Traveller takes damage equal to Marbled Rock's Link rating x400 (World Traveller: 3700 - 2500) and then World Traveller takes damage equal to the destroyed Qualiark's link rating * 500 (World Traveller: 2500 - 1500). World Traveller chains this with Qualiark's effect since it was destroyed by battle, summoning Soma and Dendrite from GY in face down defence position. Turn 4: World Traveler (1500 LP, 2 cards: Succession and 1 not known card)

World Traveler draws and activates the effect of World Chalice in GY, banishing itself to add World Legacy - "World Crown" to hand. Then he flip summons Axon and Dendrite and activates Dendrite's effect, sending Krawler Spine to GY. He uses Axon and Dendrite as Link Material to Link Summon Link 2 Lib, the World Key Blademaster (2000). World Traveler activates Succession from hand, summoning X-Krawler Qualiark from GY to Lib's Link Arrow. World Traveler then activates his skill: Assembly of the World Legacies. He sends World Legacy - "World Shield" from deck to GY to summon World Legacy - "World Armor" (2500/2000) from deck and since a World Legacy monster is sent to GY by this effect, World Legacy monsters are unaffected by Blue Maiden's card effect and cannot be destroyed by battle for the rest of the duel. World Armor's effect activates, adding World Legacy - "World Lance" to hand. Lib's effect activates, setting World Legacy Landmark from deck to field. World Traveler uses Link 2 Qualiark and Link 2 Lib to Link Summon Link 4 Accesscode Talker (2300). Accesscode Talker's effect activates, targeting Lib and gaining 1000 ATK per Lib's link Rating (Accesscode ATK: 2300 - 4300). He then flip summons Soma and activates Soma's effect, reducing it's level by 2 (Soma Level: 6 - 4) to summon Krawler Ranvier (1100/900) from deck. He uses Soma and Ranvier to Link Summon X-Krawler Neurogos (1900 - 2100).

Accesscode attacks Marbled Rock with World Traveller activating World Lance effect by discarding itself, reducing Marbled Rock's ATK by 3000 (Marbled Rock ATK: 2500 - 0). Marbled Rock's effect allows her to discard a Marincess card to make both monsters of that battle be unable to be destroyed by battle and she does not take any damage. World Armor attacks and destroys Marbled Rock (Blue Maiden: 4000 - 1500). Blue Maiden activates her skill: Shape of Sea, she summons a WATER monster whose ATK is equal or lower than the battle damage she took from GY.. She summons the 2500 ATK Marbled Rock.

World Traveler ends his turn (1500, 3 cards: World Crown, 2 not known cards)

Turn 5: (Blue Maiden: 1500 LP, 1 card: Sea Horse)

Blue Maiden draws and activates Marincess Sea Horse's (1400/1000) effect, special summoning itself to Marbled Rock's Link Arrow. She activates Marincess Battle Ocean. Now all Marincess Monsters gain 200 ATK (Sea Horse ATK: 1400 - 1600, Marbled Rock's ATK: 2500 - 2700) She then uses Link 3 Marbled Rock and Sea Horse to Link Summon Link 4 Marincess Aqua Argonaut (2300 - 2500). Battle Ocean's effect activates since Wonder Heart is Link Summoned into the Extra Monster Zone, equipping Blue Slug, Coral Anemone and Marbled Rock from GY to itself and then Aqua Argonaut gains 600 ATK for every "Marincess card equipped to it (Aqua Argonaut ATK: 2500 - 4300).

Aqua Argonaut attacks and destroys Neurogos (World Traveler: 1500 - 0)
