(Sorry this got messed up the first time)
Hello everyone, man it has been too long hasn't it. Well I'll come right out and say it. I am deeply sorry but this story is officially discontinued.
My motivation to write this was on a big decline when Season 6 started and now it's just at the dead bottom. I have no more motivation to write this but I figured it's about time to make it known.
My plan for this season would've eventually amounted to Dimentio being the big villain of the season using Count Bleck similarly to what he did in Super Paper Mario. Season 7 would've consisted of something related to Three Houses in which I would've finished up the character arcs for both Byleths. Season 8 didn't have much in it yet but Fawful would've been the villain and it would eventually lead to the second movie.
The second movie would be going throughout time to gather pieces of the smash core in order to fix the time anomalies once and for all. Upon completing the core they would've been ambushed by Dimentio, who was defeated and escaped in Season 6. He would try to use the smash core to rewrite the timeline but ultimately failed.
Season 9 would've been a post DLC tournament with every single character being involved. The final season, season 10, would see Master Hand as the villain.
Master Hand has had enough of the shackles of storytelling that developers unknowingly had on them. Basically if something happened to them in a game it would happen to them in their normal lives. Master Hand wanted to end this by completely isolating Earth in the multiverse. Keeping the planet in its own pocket dimension forever. Mario would be against this, believing that there's a peaceful way to break the chains, especially since whenever a game wasn't released they had complete reign over their actions. The mansion roster would've been pretty much split, with those on Master Hand's side no longer being in the mansion for the rest of the story. This would've been the longest season and would've ended off with a series finale.
During it both sides would learn that the true way to break the chains would be to destroy the Smash Island, as it is the one place that connects everything together. In doing so no one would be able to travel the multiverse or see each other again. It is done and everyone lands back on their own worlds. The citizens of the island would've been evacuated to numerous worlds and Master Hand and Crazy Hand would use their powers to destroy the island.
That was my plan but I no longer have the motivation to finish it. But I do have the motivation for something else though.
A complete reboot
That's right I will be restarting this story with a new plot, revamped cast, and more. However, with this story ending I will be completely migrating to Ao3. The new story is being written and being posted on Ao3 in just a few days.
This story will be more of an extended universe, the main series will be at the center while, like before, commenters can leave ideas for B plots and occasional side stories.
