Rewriting: Gwen 10 Hero Season 03 Episode 02
01 We see Gwen trying on a dress for something with Kevin also trying on a Tux, though Ben was no where to be seen. Max questions where he could have gone while holding up a familiar, and let's be honest here really ugly looking suit saying that he needed to see how it fit on Ben for the upcoming wedding. We then cut to Ben sitting in a tree saying they can let Kevin be the Ring Bearer here, there's no way Grandpa Max was gonna get him in that ugly thing. He was reading his spellbook while he was free wanting to learn more.
02 We the move to later on and see that Joel was talking to Max Kevin and Gwen, but not Ben as they still hadn't found him. Joel says that maybe Max could talk some sense into his parents and Max questioned what's wrong. Camile, Jole's fiance says that her parents and his parents are against the wedding because of the past the plumbers had with Lenopans. Gwen questions what they meant, and Camile says that before she and Jole started dating they were hostile towards one another for many years.
03 Joel questions where Ben was, and Max says that they'd lost track of him before they did the fitting with Jole questioning if he'd tried to make Ben wear that ugly suit they liked to pass down? To which Max scratches the back of his head and Jole says he doesn't blame him for vanishing then again, Ben always did hate weddings. Kevin then rather awkwardly speaks up saying that if Ben didn't wanna be the Ring Bearer then he could take the slot for them if they wanted.
04 Camile asked who he was, and Max says that Kevin there is Devlin's boy, to which Joel looked surprised to hear and told Kevin he was sorry to hear what'd happened to his father as Devlin was a good man, and he'd be honored to have him be the ring bearer if Camile would allow it. To which his Fiance nodded saying that it seemed that Joel's cousin Ben wasn't interested and she didn't wanna force him into it. Joel then jokingly told Kevin that he hoped he could dance, wouldn't wanna look like a dweeb out there.
05 Joel's parents then come up to talk to them along with Camile's parents, and the adults then walk off to discuss things with Gwen going back to the RV where Ben was sitting and yelled at him for embarrassing Grandpa like that. Though he says no one ever bothered to ask him if he even wanted to be there, much less IN the wedding. Kevin questions if it would really Kill Ben to do that one little thing, to which Ben responds "YES!" Then says that the suit was too small and the bow on that ugly old suit was too tight and he couldn't breathe in it.
06 Before they can yell at him more Ben says he's going for a walk and heads off out of the RV but spots something odd as he was making his way to the lake, there was someone driving like a madman and without thinking Ben had created a large energy construct card that was electrified as a shield to try to block it jumping out of the way when they crashed into it and the sparks from the card caused the engine of the vehicle to explode, some of which caught the chairs of the venu on fire.
07 Starting to freak out Ben tries to find something that would help in his spellbook while talking to himself saying "Oh no, nonono, just because I don't like Weddings doesn't mean I want Joel's ruined" growing frustrated he dove into the lake before creating a really big card out of energy and swinging it splashing water from the lake onto the chairs and putting out the fire, along with the fire on the vehicle too.
08 the group of adults come to see what's going on and Ben apologizes saying that someone was driving like a maniac trying to crash into the wedding setup, and he was just trying to help while gesturing over to crashed vehicle, Though Jole's parents say Ben was trying to ruin the wedding just so he didn't have to be a part of it.
09 Though Unlike them Joel actually payed attention and checked the vehicle saying that Ben was right, that's a catering vehicle and it shouldn't be past the gate, which had been rammed. Camile says that it's okay if Ben doesn't wanna be the ring bearer, he's still welcome to attend as just a guest. Thanking them for the offer Ben says that he really doesn't like things like that, but doesn't wanna ruin it for them apologizing for what had happened even though it wasn't really his fault.
10 Unlike in the show Lucy isn't actually here this time as they are at the dinner table though Camile's ex-boyfriend does attack them and Kevin absorbs the metal of the table they were sitting at before throwing his chair at them smacking off their head, though it regenerated and the ex-boyfriend tried to attack them for that. Ben says guess they got his attention throwing a card made of energy at them.
11 Gwen says that it looks like that guy is made of mud they need to bake it or freeze it. Nodding Ben threw some fire cards at them heating up parts of them and making them dry out though they broke apart the dried bits and regenerated as Kevin threw another chair at their face. The others didn't have any weapons on them. The ex-Boyfriend tried to grab Joel but was electrified by Ben calling that he wasn't ruining this wedding.
12 Gwen calls Henshin while hitting the dial changing into Articguana, and Kevin asks didn't Azmuth say something about only having Ten at a time? Though she shrugs and Says "Eh, future self threw in a few extra." Before blasting ice at Camile's ex-Boyfriend freezing them faster than they could break and regenerate freezing them to the point they could no longer fight back because of the thickness of the Ice around them.
13 Camile says "A bit tacky for the ice sculpture, but it's the thought that counts." Making the group laugh, well, except for her side of the family anyway. It did help smooth things with Joel's folks though as that was a Tennyson sense of humor, Joel's mother Betty Jean even saying that she was a keeper with a wit like that making her would be future daughter in law blush a little scratching her cheek embarrased.
14 Gwen hits the Omnitrix symbol changing back to human and the others ask about how she'd done so, and so Max explained a little better about the situation. Gordon, Joel's father, says that it seems Ben's taking after Verdona the way he's fighting. Ben says people keep saying that, but no one will tell him what they mean, Joel says that it's best he hears that story from Max frustating him since he doesn't get a straight forward answer out of anyone.
15 We see later that Kevin was trying to dance and failing at it miserably as Ben watched telling him he looks like he's got a wedgie making Kevin trip and fall over. He then tells Kevin that if he really needed to learn to dance he knew someone at the wedding that could teach him if he was interested. Kevin asks what's in it for Ben, to which our Magic wielder says that he gets some peace for a bit from all this wedding stuff, then asks if Kevin wanted to learn or not? Reluctantly he agreed with a sigh knowing he couldn't learn on his own in time.
16 Moving on we see Kevin waiting for the person that was supposed to teach him only to see Gwen walking up. Confused he asked what she was doing there, and Gwen responds that she took three years of dance, and that Ben asked for her to help Kevin learn to dance. Kevin was rather awkward about this but agreed reluctantly and let her take the lead. Though he was clumsier than Ben was in the show accidentally stepping on her foot and appologizing profusely but Gwen says it's a part of learning and to relax.
17 We do see that Kevin starts to get the hang of it as we then cut to Ben talking to his grandfather asking about why everyone keeps saying that he took after his grandmother but won't tell him any more than that. With a sigh Max says that he'll tell Ben a little more, IF he agrees to go to the wedding. Relucantly Ben says that he'll go, but just as a guest and NOT in that suit He needed one that actually fit him not one that chokes him to death. Max agreed to let Ben try on another suit instead and starts to tell Ben about his grandmother.
18 We cut to later on where the wedding was taking place and Camile's parents throw mud at the pastor saying that they weren't having their daughter marry a human and Ben tells Kevin and Gwen he wants to try something the two nodding and letting him take the lead on this as he made a large flaming card, and then another, and another, and so on and so forth until Camile's parents were locked in the flaming cards being baked inside drying out their mud until they couldn't move.
19 Gwen asks since when He could do that, and Ben says he's been practicing making the cards disipate and apologizing to Camile for that, but she says that they'll pull themselves back together eventually and thanks him for stopping her parents and questions if anyone else was against it, but no one said anything and so the pastor just sorta kept going. At the end we see Kevin as the Ringbearer and Gwen as the Flower Girl dancing together when it was time to do so with Kevin still being awkward, but not exactly stepping on her feet this time around.
