Edit: Again, some minor fixes.

My first day was crazy. There were so many names to remember. I don't know how I did it back in high school. There are kids everywhere; I've already given out my first lunchtimes. One guy...He had the stupidest name, 'Puck' told me I had a nice piece of ass, and I was quite welcome to his house later; another footballer stuck gum into a girl called Tina's hair.

At least I made it through the first day, when I was in high school we had a teacher for literally one day. She cracked under pressure and we never saw her again...She was nice though, which was a shame.

"How did you find your first day?" Sue asked.

"It was good. I have good kids in my classes."

"Any trouble makers yet?"
"Yeah, the social chain hasn't changed a bit since I was here. They're new kids but it's all the same stuff. The jocks and cheerleaders are at the top still. I had a guy try and take me home already!" I laughed.

"Which one?" She questioned.

"Puck...He told me that and I quote...'The Puckzilla will show you a good time, no one ever regrets the Puck-O-Saurus treatment.' Like how stupid are kids these days...?!" I laugh, remembering how serious he was being about it all.

"That's Puckerman for you. His name's Noah Puckerman, he's on the football team, always trying to get with the new piece of ass to walk into his life. He's slept with most the Cheerios." Sue looked disgusted, like it was a massive crime. A thought crossed my mind, and I spoke before I realized what I was actually saying.

"You know how the Cheerios are sleeping with? Does that mean you know all the people I slept with in High School?"

"Yep, I keep up with enough gossip to know who my girls sleep with. There's a guy here now, he's name is Jacob and he has like a blog and a website and he finds all the gossip. It's made my days easier!"

"Oh My God, so that means you knew about when I slept with half the football team and lied to you about it!"

"Yes, Santana I knew about that, I wasn't happy about you lying to me, but it didn't do any harm. I really am just concerned about their safety, I don't want one of my girls getting an STI or pregnant. I really care about them, like I care about all the Cheerios that come through McKinley. I can't act like it though, because then they lose respect and start slacking off."

"We can't have that, can we Coach Sue?! You used to yell the worst stuff at us...I hated you for some of the things you said about me, especially after my boob job. You called me Boobs McGee and demoted to the bottom of the pyramid. 'You're demoted to the bottom of the pyramid, so when it collapses, your exploding sand bags will protect the squad from injury. Now take your juicy, vine-ripened chest fruit and get the hell out of my office.' That's what you said, I remember." I smirk.

"You remember that?" She asked in disbelief.
"A comment like that really sticks with a girl, Sue." I say, hoping to get through to the heart that I know has to be inside her somewhere.

"Yeah, well...So it should. Girls at that age can't get boob jobs. Do you regret it now?"

"Are you kidding? These babies got me heaps of hook ups. No way!" I laughed.

"Well, it was a stupid age to get the procedure done. I still stand by that, and I'll stand by it if any of my current students do anything like that."

"Fair enough, I've got to go...Dinner plans." I say, standing up to leave the staff room.

"Bye Santana," She was already staring into her Cheer leading magazine when she replied.

"Santana, what are we going to do for dinner tonight?" I'm driving down the free way, music pumping and relaxing, I am talking to myself, but that's okay...because, well it is.
Maybe I should cook some Thai food. I'm good at cooking Thai, strangely enough and it lasts me for a few nights; which is always good.

"Do you want to lock that in?" Eddie McGuire was talking to the contestant on Who Wants to be a Millionaire.

"Yes, Eddie." Came the reply from the attractive ginger contestant, followed by a nervous sigh and giggle.

"For half a million dollars...that answer is... coming to you right after the break!" Eddie smirked and the TV cut to commercial.

"Dammit!" I hate when shows do that; it's so frustrating!

I spent the rest of the night watching TV and thinking about how the rest of the school year is going to go.

I don't want to be the weird, new teacher all year...But I don't want kids getting so comfortable in my classes that they start slacking off.
I think I might talk to Mr Schuester about being a part of the Glee Club...Maybe even like a co-director. That would be pretty cool.

"Knock, knock." I say, entering the office of William Schuester through the choir room.

"Come in," He greeted, "How can I help you? Are you a new student?"

"Um, that's flattering..but no, I'm a new teacher. Actually. I just started here this week." I say,

"Santana Lopez." I hold my hand out to shake his over his desk, of which he was now standing behind.

"Santana? Were you a student here?"

"Yeah, I was. I left the year you came to the school..."

"Yes, I remember you now. What can I do for you?"
"I wanted to know if there was anyway that I could...be like a part of the Glee Club? Like not as a member, but more like a co-director?"

"I would love to have you as part of the Glee Club. It's not very big at the moment though, we've kind of only got four kids..."

"Four? Is that all? I heard one of the Cheerios are going to be auditioning this week." I say.

"Really? Which one?"
"The Hobbit one." I reply, before realizing very quickly what I'd said and clamping my hand over my mouth.

"Rachel Berry?" He asked, laughing quietly.

"Yeah...That stays between us, okay?"

"Absolutely." He says, smirking.

"When is the next rehearsal?"

"Tomorrow, in the auditorium."

"Aw! Hell to the No! I cannot sing 'Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat, to a boy in a Wheel Chair!" Mercedes interrupted the shit awful song to inform us of the giant elephant in the room.

"I know...Just...let's keep working, okay?"

"We s-s-suck." The Asian said.

"We just need a little more enthusiasm..." Will replied.

"No, it's the song. It really is terrible." Came the voice from Kurt, who looked off into the distance.

"Glee Club! I have come to save the day!" It was the Hobbit.

"Rachel?" Kurt asked.

"I am officially auditioning for Glee Club, as of now."

"Um, okay. Take it away; Rachel." Will said.

"I would like to sing a classical Broadway song, but seeing as how much you guys are struggling with such a simple song like 'Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat', I guess I'll just show you how it's done.
I'm exceptionally talented. You all should take notes. I've been performing since before I could talk."

"How is that-?" Mercedes was interrupted this time, with Rachel saying 'Hit it' to the band members.

The song was still shit, but it wasn't as bad.

"So, when do we start rehearsals?" She asked.

"Um...I'll let you know." Will replied.

"Well, now that I'm here, I may as well stay. You obviously need help and I'm here to provide it for you."
She can't just walk in here and start talking like that! That makes me so mad. I open my mouth to say something, but then shut it again. I don't know how this teaching this is going to go if I can't say what I'm thinking.

They kept rehearsing the song, over and over. It was still really, really, shit by the end of the class, but I still encouraged them and tried to hold back on the insults.
A few escaped, and I called Berry obnoxious. It wasn't my fault though, she totally deserved it.

"Berry. I want to see you after." I say as the rest of the kids start packing up to leave.

"Yes, Miss Lopez?" I swear she had admiration in her eyes as she looked up at me.
"Mind telling me what the attitude's about?"

"I know I'm more talented than any of them in there, and I just feel so sorry for them. It just breaks my heart."

"That's really rude, and it makes you sound like a bitch."
"I-I...I want to be special. Being a part of something special, makes you special...Right?"

"Try to be less obnoxious, okay?"

"Yes Miss Lopez."

"And what about Cheerios? Isn't that something special?"

"Of course, but music is something I can express myself with. Two completely different things...And besides it's helping me achieve my broad way dream."

Earlier that day.

"Finn!" Rachel called out for the quarter back as he headed to class.

"Rachel, what's up?" He asked, turning around to face him.

"Look, so I'm joining the Glee Club."

"You can't do that!" He protested.

"I am a star, Finn. I need to do whatever it takes to get me to Broadway. Everything I do is about getting to Broadway; even Cheer Leading."

"Well, what's this have to do with me?"

"I want you to join too."

"What? Why would I do that? I don't want to go to Broadway! I just want to graduate High School...alive!"

"I need you to do this, Finn. They need a male lead. Who else is going to do it, Finn? I need you to man up."

With that sentence running through his mind, the brunette in front of him continued on her way to class; leaving him confused.
He did want to man up and do the right thing by Rachel, but he didn't want to do that to his reputation. He's seen what Glee Club does to kids at this school.
The thought of joining Glee Club played on his mind for the rest of the day.
