Perfect rejection

The testing centre was thorough. Shizuo guessed it had to be be with the amount of information running through. The cameras literally everywhere were uncomfortable but he put up with them just to get it over with.

That was the choice he had. Bond with who his family wanted him to, or find someone through the program. His family wanted him bound to a woman. Offspring and all that.

Shizuo was gay. There was no space for a woman he'd never love or be able to have sex with. It wasn't fair on either of them. So he was going through the programme.

He followed the instructions on how to get to the interview room. And then he stood until he was told to sit down. Naked because the system needed to scan his body type. He answered questions. Did he want to stay with someone of his own species, did he have any specific needs. It was a long questioning session.

The chair beneath him shuddered and Shizuo found warmed lube sprayed over his ass. From there a series of automated cocks speared him gently, one after the other. He was to push the button in front of him when he was satisfied and they'd use that as the minimum size requirement. It took a while for Shizuo to press the button and then a little longer until he found his limit and called it quits at the fat bullet trying to push inside him.

The last part of the test were simulations with possible mates. Shizuo had the glasses on and could see how each one would take him. He shuddered as one pushed him down and teased until he broke. His heart pounded, relaxing as he moved through to the next one. No faces, no names.

And then it was over. Shizuo stared at the screen as three finalists as it were, were positioned next to each other. His mouth dropped open seeing he had a 100% match with a dragon.

The others were an incubus and a human. Neither of them were above 90%. A dragon would be possessive. A dragon would never let him go. He'd heard stories, rumours. No, he wouldn't become a dragon's property any more than he'd become bound to a woman.

"I'll take the human please." Shizuo spoke to the automated system. At least then, if it was a mistake, he wouldn't suffer for too long. Humans didn't last past a century.

What Shizuo didn't know was that perfect matches were flagged and the other recipient was notified. Before he'd even left the centre, his perfect match had been pinged.

Shizuo never met the human he'd chosen. Humans had strange hang ups about meeting late at night, so he'd agreed to daylight and had returned to his apartment.

He was woken by the shattering of glass, a sharp wisp of wind cutting through his apartment block. Shizuo stared up at the night sky he could now see above his head. As well as the hulking shape of a dragon. He uttered a curse and before he could scramble out of bed, he was plucked up in the dragon's talons and carried away into the night.

There was no point in struggling. He was set down on a rooftop. He glared at the dragon, turning away and heading for the doorway that would lead to steps and then more steps and if he was lucky, an elevator to take him to the ground floor where he could leave. Instead he met a locked door with a keypad. He tried anyway, rattling the handle.

A claw hooked around him, pulling him back to the dragon. Shizuo froze. He knew he shouldn't have done the test. "Nice dragon." He murmured petting the claw. It didn't hurt him but it was still huge. The simulation flickered through his thoughts, making his cock fill and his hole twitch with need.

Shizuo tilted his head back staring into a red eye the colour of blood. He swallowed feeling both fear and arousal. This according to the system was his perfect match. His could be mate. Not an incubus, not a human. A dragon. How was that possible?

He couldn't hit the dragon with pheromones, that would be stupid. Not to mention his damn tail had other plans. The thing was out of its nest and swishing around to coil around the dragon's talon.

"Damn it." Shizuo grumbled. He felt the dragon twitch and shrink, an arm locked around his torso. The dragon nuzzled him, leading him forward to the door. The door unlocked with a simple thumb print and he was guided forward into a ridiculously large room. A penthouse apartment, of course.

Strangely the dragon felt shorter than him, but infinitely more powerful. Maybe once he fed, he could at least access his strength. He didn't think it would work against the dragon but it would be nice not to feel weak.

The dragon said nothing, fingernails sharp and pointed, a sheen of scales covering the dragon's hand. He walked slowly as he was guided to another locked room. His eyes closed knowing what would be inside. A nest.

Heated flooring. Shizuo had just about enough time to take in the softness, the clean warmth of white blankets and candles lit by the dragon's flame. His body whimpered, he felt the nest call to his nature. Nest. Alpha. It was ingrained and who was he to fight it?

The dragon growled and Shizuo stepped into the nest, flipped on his stomach so the dragon could take its fill. It was exactly like the simulation with more pain and growling. Shizuo submitted, sore as the dragon thrust a scaled thick cock past his rim riding him hard and showing no sign of stopping.

Shizuo let go, retreating back so his incubus could take what it could. Either way he wouldn't be leaving the nest unmated. He felt the sharp bite claiming him and the claws breaking his skin.

Shizuo opens his eyes seeing a human shape staring down at him in disgust. The candles have gone out and the nest feels cold, any lingering warmth gone. The man hates him, fingers clenched and glaring at the claiming marks on his body.

Shizuo's heart sinks. He'd heard about this. Inner beasts taking control with no regards to the consequences. Clearly the man wanted nothing to do with him. Ouch. Too late now, they were mated.

"Finally." Shizuo grimaces pulling himself up. His body aches and he's naked, his pyjamas in shreds. "Damn dragon. Don't worry I won't press charges for kidnapping. Get me some clothes and I'll be gone."

The man stares, red eyes burning but he nods and turns away, as if not wanting to even look at him. A bundle of clothes hit his feet. Too small but Shizuo doesn't want to be there anymore than the man wants him too. Pulling on the clothes he leaves the nest, the room and quickly exits through the apartment and out of the building.

Shizuo wastes no time rescheduling the date with the human. He needs to be in a relationship, to give the dragon a reason to reject him. The human seems nice. Polite, interested and didn't stare at him in disgust.

It was…nice. Just nice. Shizuo smiled cutting into his meat and spearing a chunk. Dinner was fine but he much preferred dessert. He stilled mid chew, feeling the hairs on the back of his neck rise. He shivered hands tightening.

The dragon. It couldn't be anyone else. Shizuo frowned. He didn't want to turn around but he wanted to be sure it was only the dragon he had to worry about. If it was, then why was the dragon here? It was a cheap place and clearly the dragon had money. So why here? Surely not for him.

"Everything okay?" The human asked taking his hand. It was nice. Warm. But just nice.

"Sorry, I prefer dessert. Sweet tooth." He forced himself to relax and set the meal aside. Dating. He could do that.

The human nodded. "Sooo we had pretty high compatibility."

"Yeah." Shizuo responded awkwardly. "The tests were…"

The human laughed. "Intense. I know. It was like I was being pulled apart. Nothing was hidden. But hey it's cool. 83% compatibility." The human whistled. "So you're an incubus. I don't mind switching it up. You're okay with topping, right?"

Shizuo frowned. "It's not something I've done. Incubus do the penetration if they're straight, otherwise it's in our nature to be the receiver."

"Huh. It's just that you're taller than me. I mean it'll be a bit weird me fucking you?"

Shizuo sighed. Humans. They were always caught up in the stupid stuff. The dragon came to mind, hard not to really. Brushing a hand over his face he decided the human wasn't going to work. His mother would be pleased.

Shizuo was making a decision when a flash of blue caught his eye. He looked to the human, unbothered as the vampire snapped his neck and tossed him to the side.

"Humans, really?" Mikado asked.

"One of three compatibly matches." Shizuo shrugged. "I told you I was going to the centre."

The vampire groaned. "I wish you would've waited. One of the fates has gone rogue."

Shizuo stiffened. "Which one?"

"The binder. She's manipulating the threads and the ends are killing each other."

Shizuo nodded fear spiking in his gut. Pulling at his collar he flashed enough of the bite to the vampire. Mikado's eyes widened. "Perfect match." He grumbled.

"There's still time to fix it." Mikado murmured. "The other fates-

"Do it." Shizuo wanted it gone. A bond that was never meant to be.

It was like getting a hair cut. The snipper cut the false bond and Shizuo felt emptiness wash over him. He thought he'd have freedom but instead it was crippling despair. A gaping hole that had him curling up and sobbing. Mikado soothed him, a hand on his shoulder. The two spoke over him but in his current state it sounded like gibberish.

Pain tore through him and then there was another voice added to the mix, a roar and something tearing at his skin. He felt something inside him fuse back together and then he was slumping forward into slim arms.

"That was interesting." Mikado murmured warily eyeing the dragon clutching his friend. "Not a false bond?" He asked the snipper.

"Real. A soul bond. Rare."

Mikado whistled, falling silent as the dragon glared at them. Half shifted and barely in control. Mikado held his hands up. "Your bond is real."

The dragon's scales glinted in the light but he watched as the man gained control and blinked. "Real?" The man asked with a slight growl. "Not a trick?"

Mikado looked to the snipper. The fate looked stricken. "You're soulmates."

Shizuo groaned clutching his head. He sat up slowly, biting out a curse as he found himself curled up in a familiar nest. The damn dragon must've taken him again. Just what he needed, he didn't want to deal with the asshole rejection again. At least this time he was clothed.

Shizuo climbed out of the nest and opened the door, glad to see he hadn't been locked in. He headed straight for the front door, his gaze laser focused that he didn't see the hand clamp around his upper arm.

"The breakfast table is this way."

Shizuo scowled but didn't try to wrench his arm free. It would be a futile effort. Instead he settled for a glare. "You can let go and I'll try and get out of your life, if you can keep your dragon under control."

"I can't do that, Shizu-chan."

Shizuo blinked dumb struck. "What? Do you lack control that much?" He snapped glaring at the clawed hand holding him.

"We're soulmates. You're mine."

Shizuo let out a bark of laughter. "Rogue fate. We're nothing. Let. Go."

"No." The dragon said pulling him towards the table. "It's real. You almost died when the bond was cut. It reformed just as quickly without the binder's help. Our bond is real, Shizu-chan. You're my soulmate."

Shizuo felt cold. "You made your thoughts perfectly clear the first time."

The dragon didn't let go. "I thought we'd been caught in the same trap."

Shizuo scowled his stubbornness waning. He took a step back and that was apparently allowed. He took another and another until he was standing in the nest. "You do want me?" He asked. The dragon yanked him forward chest to chest, mouth devouring his. Shizuo melted. A soulmate.
