Day 2: Vintage
Something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue was a saying Santana had been hearing since she and Sebastian decided to tie the knot.
The saying irked her interest and throughout the months of planning she looked for all the somethings.
She found most of them within months but something old was taking longer than expected to find. Sure she had a few heirlooms in her family and the Smythe family had several, she could not decide on something old.
Each heirloom held an importance but Santana felt as though it did not portray her and Sebastian well enough.
So she kept searching for something old until one day she was positive she had found it.
Sebastian's Dalton tie.
Yes, Sebastian's tie. It held an importance to the couple and even though it was not as old as the other heirlooms it was still technically old.
It was perfect.
When it was time for the garter toss, Sebastian reached for the garter to only be met with the silk of his tie.
The look on his face was priceless.
