The water wrapped around Naruto and carried him to the small yellow sheet of paper plastered onto the thick metal gates.

Extending his hand and placing a finger in the center of the seal. He began to cut.

He was half way when a hand suddenly grabbed him. Tossing him back to the waters, below. The fox growled and let out a roar of rage, "You!, you dare?!"

The man ignored the fox and looked at Naruto. "Pretty neat fail-safe, huh?, I worked into the seal that I would appear if the seal was heavily damaged."

The man said as he moved his blonde hair and his own blue eyes stared into Naruto's, "I didn't think it'd get this bad."

"I also didn't think I'd see you again, fox"

The man kneeled and continued staring at Naruto, "But I'm glad I finally get to meet you... Naruto."

"How do you know my na--"

"Come here, so I can rip you apart!" The roared as it slammed its massive claws against the bars.

The man ignored the fox, "I'm the one who named you...you are my son, after all." The man said with slight concern that Naruto did not recognize him.

"Your son..." Naruto started.

The man looked back and snapped his fingers, the bleak sewer replaced by a white void. "Sorry about him."

"I'm guessing that based off your reaction, Hiruzen didn't tell you about your lineage, even though I told him he could. But... I do understand his desire to suppress information about you."

Naruto held his face in his hand and began to laugh, "This day couldn't get any more absurd." he said between cackles.

"Oh yeah... I almost forgot."

Minato keeled over and fell to his knees as Naruto's fist suddenly found its way into his stomach. "I promised myself that when I found the person who cursed me with such a burden, I'd give them a piece of my mind."

Minato chuckled as he recovered, "You pack quite a punch. Look Naruto, I understand how you feel, the same thing happened to your mother, she was like you a host."

"But...i...put the nine tails in you because I believed in you. I believed and still believe that you can master your half of the fox."

"My half?."

"The other half was buried with me and will remain that way."

"Listen Naruto...there was a master mind behind the nine tails attack, and I believe he will attack again, i--"

"He'd better do it before I return and reduce that village to a pile of ash." Naruto interrupted.

"He will--wait huh."

"In a few years, preferably two or three, I will return to the leaf and destroy it."

"You left?!"

"Of course...you didn't think I'd stay where I wasn't wanted, did you." Naruto said as he began to laugh.

Minato's face dropped, and he felt a pit grow in his stomach. "Naruto...no, return to the leaf immi-"

"No."

"This isn't up for debate Naruto, you've put yourself in mortal danger by leaving the leaf you--"

"You don't think I was in danger whilst in the leaf?, you didn't see how they treated me, their threats would've turned to violence soon enough." Naruto quickly said.

"The villagers wouldn't do that, Hiruzen wou--"

"They tried...secretly they tried."

SIX YEARS AGO*

Naruto aggressively tossed and turned. He was finding it a bit difficult to breathe.

Eventually, he coughed himself awake and crept out of bed. Stopping at the door and looking at the orange light that was licking the bottom of the door.

He frowned and slowly pulled the door open. Peeking between the gap and feeling his terror shoot up.

An inferno had started in his kitchen and spread to his living room. The red and orange flames consuming everything.

Naruto quickly shut the door and quickly ran to his window, ignoring the fact that he was in his pajamas. He slammed himself shoulder first into the window. A dozen times, must've rammed himself into the window before it finally gave way.

Naruto slowly wrapping his hands around a nearby pipe and slowly sliding down it.

Looking up and down for every foot he covered.

His bare feet hit the moist concrete below and ran out to the front of the small apartment, complex. Naruto watched as his apartment burned to the ground, whatever few possessions he had gone.

His home reduced to a smoldering pile of ash, his fury practically released full force on the closest living thing. His emotions almost boiling over, threatening to consume him.

But all he did was sob, his voice echoing around the empty street.

Present*

"Why didn't Hiruzen do anything, those people should've been caught!" Minato said as stepped back in disbelief.

"He didn't care...he never did."

Naruto sat down and waited for a response. "Where was Jiraiya?!."

"I don't know who that is." Naruto said.

"Tsunadae?!"

"Never met her"

Minato almost fell back due to shock, he could understand Jiraiya, the man was busy. A spy network with over two hundred men, several books, diplomatic missions and a host of other things. Tsunadae on the other hand…Minato rubbed his eyes and grit his teeth, "I sent her a letter…several letters." He said as he sat down.

"Look Naruto I don't fully know what happened while you were in the leaf but…I'm begging you, think of another option. How many years have you been gone."

"Almost a full year now…I left about two days into January , I spent two months wandering around a cave eating demons Azad and I trained on the dragons tooth for six months, I spent another month with the Adnum tribe and I've spent two months in the royal capital of Jafatan so yeah about ten months months." Naruto said as he did some quick math.

Minato nodded and stroked his chin, "How far are you from the leaf?."

"Hmmm well I left via sea so I'm guessing I'm several thousand kilometers away."

"Okay listen very very carefully. You need to find a way back home and make amends immediately." Minato said. "Though I don't believe that's what's best considering what you've told me…the alternative is facing Konoha's fury full force."

Naruto frowned, " I already s—"

"Naruto listen to me…you are host, you hold a weapon that any village, big or small would stop at nothing to obtain or retrieve. Konoha will exhaust as men and women as it has to to find you." Minato said as placed his hand on Naruto's shoulder. "You don't have to stay in the leaf…ask for travel rights once you turn eighteen. Your mother asked for them and would spend most of her time living in a cabin in the forest outside the village."

Minato sighed and his shoulders slumped, "If you can find him…speak with lord Jiraiya and see if he can take you around with…you'll get some good training in."

"Earlier you said you believed I could master the nine tails…well I was presented with an opportunity to do just that. If the leaf is as…pushy as you say they are then why not allow me to grow stronger so I may be able to defend myself."

Minato thought for a moment. Staring into Naruto's eyes, "Youre not going back are you?."

"No…I won't."

Minato hung his head in defeat, his sons mind was set and there was nothing he could physically do to take him back. "Who are you going to kill?." Minato asked.

"All of them…those who survive can go and pray I don't run into them again."

"What about lord third and master Jiraiya?."

Naruto stared at his father for moment before looking away and rubbing his neck. "They get to live, I have no qualms with this Jiraiya and lord third took care of me so he has a special spot in my heart."

"What about Kakashi?."

"He gets to live too…"

"Mikoto Uchiha and her husband Fugaku…their son it—"

"the Uchiha clan is gone…only two members that I know of still live."

"What?!."

"Yeah…one of the members what was his name…Oh yeah itachi went rogue one night, killed his entire clan. He spared his little brother uh…Sasuke. I had him in my class."

Minato rubbed his temple and sighed. He knew things would be different after he left but he didn't expect such massive changes.

"but you have my word that they will both live…Sasuke more then itachi since you know…he's gone rouge and what not." Naruto quickly said.

Minato went quiet and thought for a moment, "Youre really gonna do it aren't you?."

"Yes…for sometime I went around shouting that I was going to become hokage."

Minato's eyebrows shot up and he laughed, "Really, your mother wanted to be hokage too, she used to uh beat up anyone who laughed at her."

Naruto chuckled and sighed. "She sounds pleasant" he said jokingly.

"She was…she would be proud of you, she used to tell Obito 'I hope my sons like…strong willed and hard headed."

Minatos face dropped as he talked about Obito. Naruto frowned and looked around awkwardly, not sure what to say.

"Why did you stop wanting to become hokage?." Minato asked.

"I realized that they would never accept me. Their kids already hated me so it was too late."

Minato sat up and inched closer to Naruto. "So what did you do."
