Chapter 10: The Frost Incursion, and The Survivor's

The night sky above Nevada was alive with flashes of lightning, illuminating the rugged landscape below. As the storm raged on, a tear in reality appeared in the sky, and a creature unlike anything the world had ever seen emerged. It was a Frost, a 10-meter-tall, scrawny, humanoid creature with four eyes that rolled around when it giggled, and a grin stretching from one side of its head to the other. Its skin was simple and white like marble, and it had square teeth that clacked together in a mindless fury.

The Frost's square teeth gnashed and its four eyes rolled around in its head, giggling maniacally as it plowed through buildings, cars, and anything else in its way. Its grin stretched from one side of its face to the other, giving the appearance of a grotesque marble statue brought to life.

The creature surveyed its surroundings, its four eyes darting back and forth as it took in its new surroundings. It seemed confused and disoriented, lashing out blindly as it made its way towards the nearest city. Its movements were erratic, making it impossible to predict where it would strike next.

SHIELD was quick to alert the council of the arrival of the creature, having monitored the events of the previous incursions of the dark multiverse. The council quickly mobilized their forces and dispatched their top fighters to try and contain the Frost before it could cause too much damage.

The council was quickly alerted to the presence of the Frost by SHIELD, who had been monitoring the events of the incursions of the Dark Multiverse. The members of the council gathered to discuss their plan of action, debating who would be the best candidates to face the creature.

As the council debated on who should be sent to face the creature, Derreck was deemed a logical choice due to his invulnerability and previous experience dealing with the dark multiverse.

Logan and Laura, as well as Magneto, Rockslide, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver, and Jean Grey, were also selected to accompany Derreck on the mission. Each member of the team was briefed on the creature's appearance and behavior, and given specific instructions on how to approach and engage it.

The team loaded up into the X-Men's Blackbird and set off towards Nevada. Derreck sat quietly, his thoughts focused on the task ahead. He knew the dangers of facing creatures from the dark multiverse, having previously faced off against his own nephew, Tenebrous.

Logan and Laura sat beside him, their expressions serious and determined. Magneto, Rockslide, and Scarlet Witch were seated in the middle of the aircraft, discussing strategies and tactics for taking down the creature. Quicksilver and Jean Grey were at the rear, preparing themselves mentally for what lay ahead.

As they observed the creature's movements from a safe distance, they began to notice something peculiar. Despite its immense size and strength, the creature seemed...dumb. Its movements were clumsy and uncoordinated, and it didn't seem to have any sort of strategy or plan. As it stepped on a car without its breaks on it slipping backwards and crash on the ground landing on its face letting out another giggle as it did.

"It's as dumb as a rock," Logan muttered under his breath, shaking his head in disbelief.

Laura nodded in agreement. "And it's not too bright, either," she added.

Magneto narrowed his eyes, analyzing the creature's movements with a critical eye. "Perhaps it doesn't have the capacity for higher reasoning," he said thoughtfully.

Derreck chimed in, his voice carrying an air of confidence. "It's possible that the creature is simply acting on instinct," he said. "Without a guiding intelligence or purpose, it's lashing out indiscriminately."

Rockslide nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it's like a wild animal," he said.

Scarlet Witch spoke up, her voice tinged with concern. "But that doesn't mean it's any less dangerous," she said. "We still need to find a way to contain it before it causes any more damage."

Quicksilver nodded, his expression serious. "Agreed. Let's move out and try to get ahead of it," he said, his voice firm and commanding.

As the group prepared to move out, Jean Grey spoke up. "Wait," she said, her voice tinged with concern. "I'm sensing something...strange about the creature."

The others turned to look at her, their expressions curious. "What do you mean?" Logan asked.

Jean hesitated for a moment, her brow furrowed in concentration. "I can't quite put my finger on it," she said. "But there's something...off about it. Something that doesn't quite add up."

The others exchanged worried glances, realizing that they were dealing with a creature that was not only powerful, but also unpredictable and potentially intelligent. They knew that they needed to be careful if they were going to have any hope of containing it.

Jean Grey closed her eyes and took a deep breath, centering herself. "We'll need to work together," she said, her voice calm and steady.

The creature suddenly stopped in its tracks, as if it had sensed something. Its four eyes jittered around in opposite directions before settling on the group of mutants. With a leer on its face, it flipped in mid-air as if it was lighter than it appeared and started sprinting towards them.

The mutants quickly took up defensive positions, readying themselves for the creature's onslaught. Jean Grey created a telekinetic barrier around the group, while Magneto used his powers to manipulate the surrounding metal to create sharp, pointed spikes.

As the creature closed in, it lunged at the mutants with its square teeth bared.

The creature collided with the shield that Jean Grey had put up, its momentum stopped abruptly. It let out a high-pitched giggle, as if amused by the resistance it had encountered. Suddenly, it started to gnaw at the shield with its square teeth, trying to break through.

It was then that jean grey heard something that made her blood run cold in shock…

Jean's eyes widened as she heard the voice within the creature's chest. It was a faint, desperate plea for help, and Jean knew that they had to act quickly if they were going to save whoever was trapped inside.

As Jean Grey focused on the nerve bundle, she was horrified to hear a familiar voice….her voice! Pleading for help. "Help me... please," the voice begged.

Jean's heart sank as she realized that the creature before them was a twisted version of herself from a dark and twisted reality. Her mind raced as she tried to figure out how this had happened.

Magneto slashed at its chest area with a sharp piece of metal only to see what was inside a moment later as the force of the impact flung it on its back and it got up a moment later continuing it's rampage.

Inside the nerve bundle was Jean Grey, who appeared to be in a trance. The wound on the creature's chest healed up a moment later, and the team watched in horror as the creature continued to rampage through the city.

Jean remained unconscious inside the creature, but her thoughts were clear and desperate for help. The team realized that they needed to find a way to free her from the creature's control and stop its destructive rampage.

Derreck quickly suggested that they use his abilities to phase inside the creature and try to extract Jean. The team agreed, and Derreck focused his powers, phasing through the creature's skin and into its body.

Derreck rips jean out of the things body which falls down dead and that jean grey wakes up startled and says. "...That wont wor-", before a massive burst of energy happens with derreck caught in the explosion, sending him flying back, and before their eye's another creature forms around that jean grey from the dark multiverse, like the one before.

Jean was frozen in shock as she heard the voice of her doppelganger emanating from the creature. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. This was her own dark multiverse counterpart, and she was trapped inside this creature. Her heart raced as she know what to do.

"You have to kill me," the other jean grey said, her voice trembling with desperation. "By destroying the nerve bundle with me in it, otherwise the parasite will bring me back endlessly."

The Jean Grey that was with them was horrified at the thought of destroying the nerve bundle with the other Jean Grey inside. She suggested they try to restrain the creature and figure out a way to separate the parasite from the host.

The team looked at each other, unsure of what to do. Suddenly, the creature let out a loud giggle, and Jean inside it communicated again telepathically, "She's not in control of her own powers. You have to restrain her."

Magneto immediately sprang into action, using his magnetic powers to restrain the creature's movements. The team worked together to subdue the creature, but it wasn't easy. It had immense strength and kept lashing out, but eventually, they managed to immobilize it.

Logan quickly took charge and instructed the others to create a powerful electromagnetic field around the creature, hoping to immobilize it. Rockslide and Magneto used their powers to create a magnetic cage around the creature, while Scarlet Witch and QuickSilver focused on amplifying the field.

They decided to bring the creature back to Krakoa to continue their examination and hopefully find some answers. Jean Grey was still unconscious inside the creature, and they were determined to find a way to free her from its grasp.

As they transported the creature back to Krakoa, the team couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. They had encountered powerful beings before, but nothing like this. They knew that they were dealing with something that was beyond their understanding, and they were going to need all the help they could get to stop it.

Jean grey talked to her counterpart inside of the creature who explains that the earth she came from was a quarantined world due to a deep sea parasite that was frozen in the Antarctic.

Jean felt a wave of empathy wash over her as she listened to her dark counterpart's story. "I'm so sorry," she said, her voice laced with sympathy. "But how did you end up like this?"

"The Frost," the Jean inside the creature replied. "It was a deep sea parasite that was frozen in the Antarctic, and it infected the entire planet. We all turned into these...monsters. It was like a warzone, until it wasn't even that. I remember...I remember crushing Scott underfoot as I went on a rampage..."

The Jean inside the creature started weeping, and Jean could feel her pain and sorrow. "We'll help you," Jean said, reaching out to comfort her counterpart. "We'll find a way to reverse this, I promise."

The Jean inside the creature seemed to calm down a bit, and Jean turned to the rest of the team. "We need to bring her back to Krakoa," she said. "Our top minds can examine her and maybe find a way to reverse this...thing inside her."

The team nodded in agreement, and they worked together to transport the creature, with Jean inside it, back to Krakoa for further examination.

Xavier sat in his office on Krakoa, listening intently as the team recounted their harrowing encounter with the creature that turned out to be Jean Grey from another universe. "This is quite alarming," he said, stroking his chin thoughtfully. "We must take every precaution to ensure that this creature does not pose a threat to us or the rest of the world."

The team watched as the creature writhed and struggled against the magnetic restraints. Suddenly, the Jean inside the creature spoke again telepathically, "I know what this is. It's the Frost. It's a parasite that spreads on certain worlds in the dark multiverse. It can only survive and spread in that realm. You don't have to worry about it spreading to your world."

Xavier and the rest of the team listened in shock as the Jean inside the creature explained the situation. "We need to find a way to get her out of there," Xavier said, a note of urgency in his voice.

The team brainstormed ideas, but it seemed like a difficult task. The creature's body was unlike anything they had ever seen before, and they couldn't find any organs or a clear way to extract Jean.

As they examined the creature, they were perplexed by its anatomy. There were no discernible organs or even a brain. It seemed to be nothing more than a mass of living energy, constantly shifting and regenerating. And yet, it had a singular focus: to destroy everything in sight.

The team's top minds examined the creature, but they couldn't make heads or tails of it. Its healing abilities were beyond anything they had seen before, and they couldn't find any explanation for it. Even more disturbing was the fact that they couldn't find any trace of the Jean Grey that had been absorbed into the creature.

Meanwhile, the Jean inside the creature continued to communicate telepathically with the team, sharing more about her experiences in the dark multiverse. "On my world, the Frost spread quickly and turned everyone into monsters like me," she said, her voice filled with sorrow. "I tried to fight it, but I couldn't control my powers. I ended up hurting people I cared about, and I couldn't stop it."

The team listened in silence as Jean shared her story, feeling a sense of empathy for her situation. They knew they had to find a way to help her, but they were running out of time. The creature's struggle against the restraints was growing more intense by the minute.

The Jean inside the Frost creature pleaded with the team, her voice shaking with emotion. "I killed Scott and Xavier, I crushed them as I turned into this….thing!" she said, tears streaming down her face. "Please, I cannot live like this. This isn't living. Please end it...please."

The team and Jean Grey outside the creature came to the grim realization that the only way to stop the cycle of destruction was to destroy the nerve bundle with the other Jean Grey inside. With heavy hearts, they carried out the necessary action, knowing that it was the only way to prevent the creature from coming back endlessly.

As the nerve bundle was destroyed, the creature let out one final howl before disintegrating into nothingness. The team stood in stunned silence, mourning the loss of the second Jean Grey and the tragic circumstances that led to her transformation into the creature.

After the ordeal, the team discussed the situation and the implications of the dark multiverse incursions that were starting to become more frequent. They knew that they had to come up with a plan to prevent more creatures like the Frost from entering their world.

Xavier convened a meeting with the council, and they decided to focus their efforts on detecting and intercepting any further incursions before they could fully materialize. They also discussed the possibility of sending teams into the dark multiverse to investigate the source of the incursions and find a way to prevent them altogether.

The crack in reality in Nevada remained under the close guard of S.H.I.E.L.D. as they worked tirelessly to find a way to contain it. The council of mutants had also sent their top minds to assist in the effort, but even they were at a loss.

As the crack in the air remained stable, the team from SHIELD worked tirelessly to find a way to close it, not knowing what other horrors could come through from the dark multiverse. They ran simulations, conducted experiments, and consulted with the brightest minds in the world, but nothing seemed to work.

The team argued with Nick Fury, trying to convince him that the crack in reality was different from the others they had encountered before. "This isn't like the others," Logan growled. "It's still there even after we defeated the creature that came through. It's not closing up like it's supposed to."

Fury shook his head, a look of frustration etched on his face. "I hear what you're saying," he said, "but asking you to close up a tear in the fabric of reality is like asking you to do the impossible."

Jean Grey stepped forward, a determined look in her eyes. "We have to try," she said firmly. "If we don't, who knows what else could come through."

Fury sighed, knowing that she was right. "All right," he said, his tone resigned. "But I want you to know that this is an incredibly dangerous task, and you'll be putting your lives at risk."

The team nodded in agreement, ready for the daunting task ahead. Suddenly, Derreck turned his head towards the crack in the air, his eyes narrowing as he focused on something. "More of those things are coming through," he said in a low voice. "Get ready."

Jean Grey focused her powers and was able to see that three more creatures were coming through the crack in reality. As they emerged, she could see the familiar forms of Captain America and Daredevil trapped inside two of them. But her heart sank as she recognized the third one as Hope Summers, the adopted daughter of her and Cyclops.

As they examined the three new Frost creatures, the team realized that they were dealing with the same problem as before. The parasites within the creatures were regenerating, making it impossible to kill them permanently. They knew that the only way to stop the creatures was to destroy the nerve bundle with the trapped individuals inside.

The Captain America Frost lashed out at Logan, trying to grab him, but its arm was sliced off by Derreck's blade arm. The creature looked over at Derreck, its arm quickly regenerating before their eyes. Logan seized the opportunity and lunged forward, striking the nerve bundle a few times hitting captain america's head inside of it with all his might. The creature let out a blood-curdling howl of laughter as it disintegrated into nothingness.

the daredevil frost gets blasted by nick fury's troops who had large guns out and a tank shell shredding it an destroying it's body, but to the suprise of everyone it's crawling with one arm and half a body while it's lower half is gone and part of it's head is missing with the grin still on it's face.

The team watched in horror as the Daredevil frost continued to crawl towards them, despite the damage inflicted upon it. Scarlet Witch summoned her powers, sending a powerful blast of energy towards the creature, but it only seemed to make it let out a gurgled giggle as its upper left eye hanged out of ots head.

"I'll handle this," Magneto said, his voice determined. He focused his powers, levitating the creature into the air and holding it in place. "Get ready to destroy the nerve bundle," he said to the others.

Logan and Derreck moved forward, their weapons at the ready. As they approached the creature, it let out a sinister giggle, its remaining arm lashing out at them. Logan dodged the attack and sliced off the creature's arm, while Derreck impaled it through the nerve bundle with his blade arm.

The team hesitated as they saw the Hope Summers frost before them, knowing how much she meant to their world. But Derreck knew what had to be done, and he stepped forward. "There's no other way," he said firmly.

With a determined look on his face, Derreck unleashed his powers, and black, spiked tentacles flew forward as he punched the hand, shredding the arm and chest of the creature. It let out a high-pitched giggle before exploding out the back, leaving nothing but dust and debris.

The team looked on in shock and horror, knowing that they had just destroyed one of their own who was regarded as a savior on their worlds community. But they also knew that it was necessary to prevent any more creatures from coming through the crack in reality.

Jean Grey stepped forward, placing a hand on Derreck's shoulder. "Thank you," she said softly.

Derreck nodded, his face grim. "We had no other choice," he said. "We can't let them keep coming through like this."

As the tear starts widening again, they prepare for what they might face, The team was caught off guard as Logan and Laura suddenly jumped through the closing tear in reality, looking disoriented and confused. Logan's mechanical arm glinted in the light as he surveyed his surroundings, taking in the scene before him.

"What the hell is going on?" Logan growled, his eyes scanning the area for any sign of danger.

Earlier, in the dark multiverse….

Logan and Laura had been running for their lives from the Frost creatures, their healing factor protecting them from the parasites that turned others into the monsters they had just escaped. The remains of new York could be seen in the background as a large herd of frost were rushing towards them in the distance, it was several miles long in total, make of millions of them. We have to keep running! Logan shouted as they knew they were outmatched and they've lost the fight against the frost parasite. "How did it come to this"?! logan thought to himself as they ran past a derailed train with no occupants inside who were long gone by now, turned into those things.

It had been only a couple of weeks since the parasite infected a few researchers in studying ice samples in the Antarctic and it's already gotten so bad that the whole universe decided to quarantine the whole planet….not that he could entirely blame them as they couldn't risk it getting out. They could hear those things getting closer as their footsteps got louder and shook the ground as they ran passing an exploded tank where a soldier turned into one of those things….

As they ran they suddenly fell through the ground like a tear in reality, "What the hell"! Laura cried as they continued to fall for a moment as they stumbled through the tear in reality, not knowing where it would take them.

Logan's eyes landed on Jean, and his voice caught in his throat. "Jean… is that you?" he asked, stunned. He remembered the last time he saw her on his world, when she turned into one of those creatures. The memory sent shivers down his spine.

Jean looked at him, confusion etched on her face. "Logan? What are you doing here?" she asked.

Logan shook his head, still in disbelief. "We were running from the Frost, but we fell through the ground suddenly. I don't know how we ended up here," he explained.

Jean's eyes widened in horror at the mention of the Frost. She knew all too well what kind of devastation they could bring.

Jean turned to Logan and Laura, a mix of emotions evident on her face. "Yes, it's me," she said softly. "But there's so much you don't know."

She explained to them about the incursion of the Dark Multiverse and the creatures that had come through, including the Frost that was a version of her from another world. She told them about the nerve bundle that had to be destroyed to prevent the creatures from coming back endlessly, and how they had just faced three more Frost creatures from other worlds.

"But don't worry," Jean said reassuringly. "The Frost can only spread on certain worlds in the Dark Multiverse. We're safe here on this Earth, in this Multiverse."

Logan and Laura looked at each other, processing the information that they were in an different multiverse, not just universe. "Damn," Logan muttered. "That's a lot to take in."

Jean nodded, a sad expression on her face. "I know. But we have to be prepared for whatever comes next."

The team sat down with Logan and Laura, explaining the situation and what had happened with the Frost creatures. Logan listened intently, his expression growing increasingly grim as he learned about the horrors they had faced.

As they finished recounting their tale, Logan's attention was drawn to a man sitting in the corner, dressed in a black leather jacket and sweatshirt. "Who's that guy?" he asked, nodding towards the man.

Jean looked over and sighed. "That's Derreck," she said, her tone heavy with resignation. "He's the son of Mistress Death and the god of the Dark Multiverse."

Logan's eyes widened in surprise, and Laura stepped closer to the man. The other Laura noticed the movement and gave her counterpart a knowing look, but didn't say anything.

The other laura stared at the young man in front of her with his simple look on his face that indicated…..well….simpleness, while she sized up this...derreck and noticed that the laura of this earth put her arm around his neck. "You two are together?" Laura nods and smiles at the other Laura. "Yeah, we are," she says. "Derreck is amazing. He's been helping us fight against the dark multiverse creatures that have been coming through the cracks in reality."

The other Laura looks surprised but nods. "I see," she says. "Well, it's good to know that you have someone like him on your side."

As the other Laura watched the interaction between the Laura of this earth and Derreck, she couldn't help but notice his unique features, including his shark-like teeth. "Is he a mutant?" she asked, a bit taken aback.

Derreck gave a small chuckle. "If you count mimicking the X-gene as being a mutant," he replied with a sly grin.

The other Logan and Laura exchanged a confused look, clearly not familiar with Derreck's abilities. "What exactly can you do?" Logan asked, eyeing Derreck warily.

Derreck shrugged nonchalantly. "I have a variety of powers, most of which involve manipulating reality to my will," he explained. "But let's just say that I'm not someone you want to mess with."

Laura summarized Derreck's powers, explaining that he can mimic anything and everything, and that he's invulnerable to all forms of harm. "He can't even feel any sensation," she added. "Eating and sleeping are included in there too," Derreck finished with a shrug. The other Logan and Laura looked at each other in disbelief, unsure of how to process this information.

He must have some weakness...? the other logan says after a moment of silence with a bit of disbelief in his voice... which derreck would suddenly grow black worm like tentacles out of his back and it would form into a scroll that has a list of abilities written on it as it unravels, making the laura next to him snort out a bit of laughter...saying. "...I told you so...".

Logan read through the list with disbelief and say, "This can't be real. There has to be some weakness, something we can exploit."

Derreck would shake his head and reply, "I'm sorry, Logan. There's nothing. My powers are absolute. I can mimic anything and everything. And I'm invulnerable to all forms of harm. I don't even feel pain."

Their Laura would chime in, "He's like a god."

Logan would let out a frustrated growl, not liking the idea of anyone being invincible. "There has to be something we can do," he said.

But Derreck would simply shrug, "I'm afraid not. This is just how I am."

Derreck pops out adamantium claws that look like the other Logan's claws, causing Logan to raise an eyebrow in surprise. "Well, that's a neat trick," he comments.

Derreck shrugs. "It's just one of many," he says nonchalantly, retracting the claws. "I can mimic any mutant power I come across, and even the non-mutant ones and things. It's all a matter of focus."

The other Laura looks at Derreck skeptically. "But there has to be some sort of catch, right? Some weakness or drawback?"

Derreck shakes his head. "I'm invulnerable to harm and I can regenerate from anything. I don't need to eat, sleep, or even breathe. I'm essentially immortal, and my powers are limited only by my own imagination and willpower."

Derreck notices the other Logan and Laura's puzzled looks, and with a shrug, he suddenly transforms his left arm into a giant rubber chicken, causing the other Laura to burst out laughing.

"That's just the tip of the iceberg," Derreck says with a smirk. He then proceeds to transform his arm into a variety of bizarre objects, including a pogo stick, a flamingo, and a slinky. The other Logan and Laura watch in amazement as Derreck's powers seemingly have no limits.

At one point, Derreck even transforms his entire body into a humanoid form of purple jelly, causing Laura to laugh and shake her head in disbelief.

"It's like he's a walking cartoon," she says with a grin.

"Yeah, and when you're invulnerable to everything and can mimic any power you come across, it's hard to take anything seriously."

Laura snorted. "That's an understatement," she said, still leaning on Derreck.

Logan raised an eyebrow. "So, you're basically unstoppable?" he asked.

Derreck shrugged. "Pretty much," he said, before popping out his adamantium claws again and then transforming his arm into a marshmallow arm, which quickly turned into a burnt s'more before returning to normal. "I can even do stuff like this."

Logan and Laura exchange a look, clearly impressed by the display. "So you can mimic anything, even down to the molecular level?" Logan asks.

"Yep, that's right," Derreck replies, as his arm transforms back to its original form. "It's a pretty useful power, but it's not without its downsides."

"What downsides?" Laura asks, curious.

"Well, for one thing, I don't really have any weaknesses," Derreck says, shrugging. "And sometimes my power can mimic things that don't make any sense, like turning my arm into a marshmallow or a rubber chicken. It's not always under my control."

Logan and Laura looked at each other in amazement. "This guy's something else," the other Logan muttered.

Derreck grinned. "Oh, there's more where that came from," he said, before glancing at the other Laura. "So, what do you think of my powers?"

The other Laura rolled her eyes. "You're ridiculous," she said, but there was a hint of amusement in her voice. "But I guess it's better than being boring."

Derreck laughed. "Glad you approve," he said. "But seriously, there's a reason I'm so overpowered. It's not just for show. I've got a bigger role to play in the multiverse, and I need to be ready for whatever comes my way."

The other logan asked. "...Wait...why haven't we encountered any alternate versions of...him"? he said nudging towards derreck.

Derreck explained to Logan and Laura that he was the son of Mistress Death, a cosmic entity in the Universe they were currently in, and that he grew up in the alleys of New York City with his friend Mr. Rat and his rat family for friends. He never encountered alternate versions of himself because he only existed in this universe and timeline.

Logan and Laura looked at each other, impressed and a little bewildered by Derreck's unique background. They had encountered many mutants and metahumans in their time, but never someone like Derreck.

As Derreck revealed his origins as the son of Mistress Death, the other Logan and Laura stared at him in disbelief. Logan couldn't help but ask, "How does any of that make sense?"

Derreck just shrugged. "Oh yeah, that. My dad is the god of your multiverse," he said matter-of-factly.

The other Logan and Laura slowly turned to the Logan who was nearby, expecting some sort of explanation. He simply shrugged and said, "Yep."

Magneto clear his throat and say...since the portals closed...what do you two want to do next?

After a moment of silence weighing their options they spoke up with a shrug saying. Guess we'll stay here since there's nothing left for us there, and the portal is closed anyway…so there's no way back…..

As Xavier and Emma Frost listened to Magneto and the other Logan's explanation, they were surprised to see another Laura and Logan with a metal arm exit the jet. "Who are they?" Xavier asked, his curiosity piqued.

"They're from the world the Frosts came from," the their Logan explained. "We ran into them after we were defeated the Frost. They're immune to the parasite, and we brought them here for safety."

Xavier nodded, taking in the information. "Welcome to Krakoa," he said, addressing the newcomers. "We're glad to have you here. I assume you've already been briefed on the situation with the Frost and the portal."

The other Laura and Logan nodded, confirming that they were aware of the situation. "We're here to help in any way we can," the other Laura said, determination in her eyes.

Mr. Sinister rubbed his head and groaned as he remembered the drunken antics he and his colleagues had gotten up to. He had always prided himself on his reputation as a serious scientist, but now he was a laughing stock. He couldn't believe that he had recorded everything and even posted it online. "What was I thinking?" he muttered to himself as he stood up, still feeling the effects of the hangover.

Mr. Sinister looked around his lab, the memories of the drunken week still fresh in his mind. The spider toilet was gone, shattered and crushed by Derreck, and the rainbow unicorn monster had disappeared without a trace. "What the hell were we thinking?" he muttered to himself, rubbing his forehead where he had just bonked it on the wall. He couldn't believe he had let himself be part of such ridiculous antics. And to make matters worse, he had recorded the whole thing and posted it online, ruining his reputation.

Mr. Sinister groaned as he heard the thud on his door and ran to answer it, muttering to himself about the ridiculousness of the situation. When he opened the door, he found a note that read, "Here lies drunken idiot #1" with a drawing of a rainbow unicorn and a stick figure wearing his costume sitting on a spider toilet.

He crumpled up the note in frustration, muttering curses under his breath. "Really, again?" he muttered to himself, shaking his head. He knew his reputation was ruined, and the fact that people were constantly reminding him of it was only making things worse. He sighed and closed the door, trying to shake off the embarrassment and focus on something more productive.

Cerebro hovered up to Mr. Sinister and delivered the news about the arrival of the alternate Logan and Laura from the dark multiverse. "Logan with a metal arm and Laura from another universe? That's interesting," Mr. Sinister mused.

Cerebro continued, "They arrived after the team dealt with a creature from their universe that turned out to be Jean Grey."

"Jean Grey?" Mr. Sinister repeated, his interest piqued. "What creature are you talking about?"

Cerebro relayed the information to Mr. Sinister, who listened with interest. "Fascinating," he mused. "A parasite from the dark multiverse that can only infect certain worlds. And it turns people without advanced healing factors into these...frost creatures, you say?"

Cerebro confirmed his statement and continued to explain that the only way to stop the creatures from regenerating is to destroy the nerve bundle with the host inside. Mr. Sinister nodded, taking in the information.

"I see," he said. "And what of this alternate Jean Grey? How did she become infected?"

Cerebro hesitated for a moment before answering. "It seems that on her world, the parasite was frozen in the Antarctic and was released, infecting the population and turning them into the frost creatures. Jean Grey was one of the unfortunate ones who became infected."

Mr. Sinister stroked his chin thoughtfully. "Interesting," he murmured. "Perhaps there's a way to harness the power of this parasite for our own purposes."

Cerebro blinked in surprise. "But sir, the creature is incredibly dangerous. It's already caused so much destruction and chaos."

Mr. Sinister waved a dismissive hand. "That may be true, but imagine the possibilities. If we can find a way to control it, to use it for our own purposes...think of the power we could wield."

Cerebro looked uneasy but didn't argue. Mr. Sinister had always been one to seek power, and it seemed that this situation was no different.

Cerebro relayed the information to Mr. Sinister, who listened with interest. "Fascinating," he mused. "A parasite from the dark multiverse that can only infect certain worlds. And it turns people without advanced healing factors into these...frost creatures, you say?"

As Mr. Sinister processed the information about Jean Grey and the Frost, Cerebro floated closer to him and continued, "Furthermore, an alternate Logan with a metal arm and Laura from that world arrived on Krakoa before the portal closed. They are currently on the island."

Mr. Sinister's eyes widened with interest at the mention of the alternate Logan and Laura. "Interesting," he murmured. "Bring them to me, Cerebro. I want to know everything about their world and how they came to be here."

Cerebro nodded in acknowledgement and floated away to carry out Mr. Sinister's request.

As soon as Mr. Sinister laid eyes on the alternate Logan and Laura, his mind immediately began to race with the possibilities. He was curious if the parasite that turned their Jean Grey into the Frost was still inside them and if he could use it for his own purposes.

"This is quite the interesting development," he said, rubbing his hands together in anticipation. "To meet someone from another multiverse...it defies everything we've learned about reality."

Logan snarled at him, still wary of the man who shared his name but not his morals. "Keep your hands to yourself, bub," he growled.

Mr. Sinister chuckled, unfazed by Logan's aggression. "Of course, of course. I'm simply intrigued by the possibilities here. I would like to perform a few tests to see if the parasite is still inside of you."

Laura narrowed her eyes at him, crossing her arms defensively. "And what do you plan on doing with it if you find it?"

Mr. Sinister smirked. "Oh, just a little experimentation. You know me, always seeking to expand my knowledge."

Logan and Laura exchanged a look of distrust, but they knew they had no choice but to cooperate if they wanted to stay on Krakoa. They reluctantly agreed to Mr. Sinister's tests, but they made sure to keep a close eye on him the entire time.

As Mr. Sinister scanned a drop of blood from the alternate Logan and Laura, he detected the presence of the parasite inside their cells. However, he also noticed that their advanced healing factors were fighting it off.

"Hmm, very interesting," he muttered to himself. "It seems the parasite is still present, but your healing factors are keeping it at bay. Fascinating."

Logan narrowed his eyes suspiciously. "What are you planning, Sinister?"

Mr. Sinister put on an innocent expression. "Me? Nothing, of course. I'm just studying the parasite to see if there's anything we can learn from it."

Laura crossed her arms, unconvinced. "And what would you do with that knowledge?"

"I assure you, my intentions are purely scientific," Mr. Sinister replied smoothly. "But the fact remains that this defies everything we've learned about reality. The existence of two multiverses, one dark and one not, it's quite extraordinary."

Logan snorted. "Yeah, extraordinary. That's one way to put it."

Mr. Sinister ignored his comment and continued studying the sample. "It appears that your healing factors are keeping the parasite at bay, but I wonder if we could artificially enhance it. Imagine the possibilities if we could harness the power of the dark multiverse for our own purposes."

Logan and Laura exchanged a wary glance, sensing that Mr. Sinister's motives were not entirely pure. They made a mental note to keep an eye on him and his activities.

Mr. Sinister scanned a drop of blood from the alternate Logan and Laura, his expression suddenly becoming increasingly disturbed as he delved deeper into his analysis.

After a few moments, he looked up at the pair with a pale expression, his voice trembling slightly as he spoke.

"Um, you see...this parasite that's inside of you...it has some sort of marking on it...it says 'property of madness eternal'," he said, his eyes darting nervously between them.

Logan and Laura exchanged a puzzled look, clearly not understanding the significance of what Mr. Sinister had just said.

"Madness eternal? Who's that?" Logan asked, his metal arm glinting in the lab lights.

Mr. Sinister hesitated for a moment before answering, "He's the first being from the dark multiverse that arrived in the first incursion in the Colorado town a few weeks ago."

Logan and Laura looked at each other, a sense of unease creeping over them as they realized they were dealing with something much bigger than they initially thought.

Mr. Sinister took a deep breath before continuing. "Madness Eternal is a being of immense power and chaos," he said, his voice shaking slightly. "He's a distant relative of Derreck's half-brother twice removed. He's capable of taking the laws of physics and nature and even the mind, and turning it into unnatural order. He consumes whole universes in the dark multiverse, and his physical form is...unusual. He looks like a humanoid in a business suit, with a mouth full of sharp teeth for a head and tentacles on his hands and head."

"He even survived Ghost Rider's penance stare," Mr. Sinister continued. "Although it did hurt him. He even fought back for a moment there. The fact that this parasite belongs to him is...troubling, to say the least."

Mr. Sinister hesitates before continuing, his voice lowered. "And the worst part is, the people that he consumes are still alive within him. In torment, of course. Including a version of Logan's mother."

The room falls into a heavy silence as everyone takes in the gravity of the situation. The alternate Logan's eyes narrow and he clenches his fists, while Laura places a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"Is there any way to stop him?" she asks, her voice barely above a whisper.

Mr. Sinister shakes his head. "Not that I know of. Madness Eternal is a force of nature, a destroyer of universes. It's...terrifying, really."

The group falls into a contemplative silence, each lost in their own thoughts. Finally, the alternate Logan speaks up. "We need to find a way to stop him. We can't just sit back and let him continue to destroy universes and torment innocent people."

Mr. Sinister nods. "I agree. But we'll need to be careful. He's not someone to be underestimated."

As Mr. Sinister tries to explain more about Derreck's half-brother, he realizes that the details are obscure at best. He only knows that the half-brother is a powerful conqueror who leads the charge in conquering the dark multiverse. His name is whispered in hushed tones and there are rumors about his true identity and his ultimate goal. Some say that he is a cosmic being from beyond the multiverse, while others speculate that he is a dark reflection of a well-known hero or villain.

Despite the lack of concrete information, Mr. Sinister has reason to believe that Derreck's half-brother has plans for their Laura. He just doesn't know what those plans are.

After Mr. Sinister tells them about the torment in Madness Eternal, the Logan with the metal arm asks if the version of Logan's mother said anything to him. Mr. Sinister hesitates for a moment before saying that she forgave Logan and always will. He also reveals that it was an alternate version of Logan who brutally murdered her for unknown reasons.

The Logan with the metal arm clenches his fist and looks down, clearly affected by the news. The Laura from the dark multiverse places a comforting hand on his shoulder, silently offering her support. Mr. Sinister clears his throat, breaking the silence.

"Anyway, I'm still interested in studying this parasite further. With your permission, I'd like to keep monitoring your healing factors and see how they react to the parasite. It could lead to some groundbreaking discoveries," Mr. Sinister says, trying to steer the conversation away from the somber topic.

The Logan with the metal arm gives a nod, still lost in thought. The Laura from the dark multiverse glances at him before turning back to Mr. Sinister.

"Fine, but we're keeping a close eye on you. We don't trust you," she says firmly.

Mr. Sinister chuckles nervously. "Of course, of course. You have my word, I won't do anything underhanded."

As they leave the lab, the Logan of their earth approaches them as they left the lab and tells the alternate Logan that it's true. He had seen that version of his mother's face as well, and it was Madness Eternal who showed it to him to cause him pain. But instead of feeling anger or hatred, he felt a sense of peace. He tells the alternate Logan that even when his mother was trapped inside that thing, she still forgave him. It was a forgiveness that he didn't deserve, but it was something that he'll always remember.

The Logan with the metal arm is deeply moved by what the Logan from the other world tells him. For so long, he has carried the weight of guilt and shame, believing that he was responsible for his mother's death. But now, hearing that she forgave even the Logan who did far worse, he starts to wonder if maybe he can forgive himself too and if his mother on their world wherever she is forgives him too?

As he reflects on this, he feels a sense of relief and release, as if a burden has been lifted from his shoulders. Maybe, just maybe, his mother would forgive him too if she knew that he didn't do anything malicious or selfish on purpose to cause her harm.

He looks up at the other Logan and nods, grateful for the perspective and the hope it brings him. "Thank you," he says quietly. "I needed to hear that."

The other Laura approached their Laura and Derreck, noticing that Derreck was sitting with a black monolith on the table. "What's that?" she asked, pointing to the monolith.

Derreck looked up at her and then to the monolith. "Oh, this is a manifestation of my power and my nature. It's from my backpack which leads to my mind," he said, pointing to the black backpack next to him.

Their Laura nodded in agreement. "Yeah, it's pretty amazing to see. It's like watching the universe take shape," she said, taking a sip of her soda.

The other Laura was confused. "I don't understand. How does it work?" she asked.

Derreck smiled. "Well, it's hard to explain, but basically, I have the ability to manifest the laws of the universe and manipulate them as I see fit. This monolith is just one way I can visualize and interact with my power," he explained.

Their Laura chimed in. "It's pretty cool, right? He can do all sorts of things with it. Like make it move, flatten, or even create different shapes," she said, taking another sip of her soda.

The other Laura was impressed but still a bit confused. "So, it's like you can control reality itself?" she asked.

Derreck chuckled. "Well, not quite. I can manipulate the laws of physics, but there are still some limitations to what I can do. Plus, it takes a lot of concentration and energy to use my power," he replied.

Their Laura nodded. "Yeah, I've seen him get pretty drained after using his powers for a while. But it's worth it, especially when we're facing tough enemies," she said, looking at Derreck with a small smile.

The other Laura was fascinated by Derreck's powers, and she couldn't help but feel a bit envious. She had always wished she had special abilities like some of the other mutants she knew. But at the same time, she was also a bit intimidated by the sheer scope of Derreck's power.

As the conversation between the two Lauras and Derreck continued, the monolith on the table suddenly lifted into the air and began to float around, almost as if it had a mind of its own.

The other Laura watched in amazement as the monolith spoke to Derreck, and he responded back in a language that she couldn't understand. "What's going on?" she asked, clearly confused.

Derreck explained that the monolith was a manifestation of his power and nature, and that they had come to an understanding. It could speak to him, and he could understand its language.

The other Laura was fascinated by this, but also a bit unnerved. "So, it's like a part of you?" she asked, trying to wrap her head around the concept.

Derreck nodded. "Yes, it is. It's a part of me, just like my powers are a part of me. It's always been there, ever since I can remember."

The other Laura looked at the monolith again, watching as it floated around and shifted into different shapes. "That's amazing," she said. "I've never seen anything like it."

Derreck smiled. "It's not something you see every day, that's for sure. But it's a part of who I am, and I wouldn't be the same without it."

"And it came in handy when he fought his nephew tenebrous…". Their Laura added.

Derreck nods at the mention of the battle with Tenebrous, "Yes, I had to use the monolith to its full potential during that fight. It can mimic any weapon or object I desire, as long as I understand its workings."

The other Laura looks impressed, "That's incredible. So you have complete control over it?"

Derreck shrugs, "I wouldn't say complete control, it has a mind of its own. But we have an understanding, and it's never betrayed me."

Their Laura nods in agreement, "It's amazing how you can mimic any power or ability you come across."

Derreck chuckles, "It has its downsides, believe me. Sometimes it's hard to differentiate between what's real and what's not. And I can't experience things like taste or physical sensations."

The other Laura looks curious, "So, what's it like to have powers like that?"

Derreck leans back in his chair, "It's a double-edged sword, really. On one hand, I can mimic any power I come across, which is great. But on the other hand, it's made me feel like an outsider, like I don't belong anywhere."

Their Laura looks sympathetic, "I can understand that. It's not easy being different from everyone else."

Derreck nods, "Exactly. But I've learned to accept who I am and make the best of it. And having the monolith by my side makes it all worthwhile."

"...Wait what about resurrection..."? The other laura asks in shock and derrick simply shook his head.

The other Laura looked at Derreck in disbelief, "No resurrection? So that means once you're gone, you're gone forever?

Derreck simply nodded his head, "Yes, that's correct. My existence is tied to the fabric of the multiverse itself. Once I'm gone, there's no bringing me back."

Laura took a deep breath, trying to process the information. "I can't even imagine what that must be like. To know that any mistake could mean the end of everything..."

Derreck chuckled, "It's not as dramatic as it sounds. I've had a lot of time to come to terms with my nature and my limitations. It's just a fact of life for me."

The other Laura looked at her counterpart with disbelief written all over her face. "Wait, are you telling me that if he dies, there's no way to bring him back? Not even cloning?" she asked.

Their Laura nodded solemnly. "That's right. It's something that I learned from personal experience."

The other Laura's expression grew more and more shocked as she processed the information. "But how is that even possible? I mean, we've seen people come back from the dead before," she said.

Derreck spoke up, "Well, I'm not exactly like those people. My powers and nature are different. If I die, I'll fade into oblivion, and there's no coming back from that."

Their Laura added, "The only way he could be brought back is if someone like Tenebrous, his nephew, did it. And even then, it would be a painful process."

The other Laura's face was a mixture of shock and sadness. "I can't even imagine how that must feel," she said.

Their Laura nodded in agreement. "It's not something I would wish on anyone."

The other Laura took a deep breath and tried to change the subject. "So, what's the craziest thing you've done with your monolith, Derreck?"

Derreck chuckled, "Oh, there are so many crazy things I've done with it. But I think the craziest was when I hit my nephew's son with it. The shockwaves were felt throughout the entire universe, every world, pantheon, and reality and dimension felt the vibrations as it branched towards infinity."

Their Laura chimed in, "And it splintered the world tree, too."

The other Laura's eyes widened in disbelief. "You hit someone so hard that you splintered the world tree? That's insane," she said.

Derreck shrugged, "It was necessary. And it felt good, too."

Their Laura rolled her eyes but couldn't help but smile at her close friend's antics.

The other Laura's eyes widen in shock. "That's insane. I can't even imagine the amount of power that took."

Derreck shrugs. "It was just a tap, really. My monolith is capable of much greater feats."

Their Laura chimes in, "Yeah, I saw it firsthand when we fought Tenebrous. I thought reality was going to collapse."

The other Laura stares at them in disbelief. "How can one being have that much power?"

Derreck simply smiles. "I am who I am. My power is a part of me, and I use it as I see fit."

Derreck would look down at the monolith again as he recalls the intense battle. "It was a fight like no other. Tenebrous and I were pretty evenly matched, and it lasted for hours. We went all out, using every power and weapon we had, and the collateral damage was... significant."

Their Laura would nod in agreement. "I've never seen anything like it. They were both pushing each other to their absolute limits. And when Derreck hit Tenebrous' son with the monolith, it was like the entire world shook."

The other Laura would look a bit shocked at the level of destruction caused by their battle. "Wow... it sounds like it was pretty intense. How did it end?"

Their Laura and Derreck would tell the other Laura about how the battle with Tenebrous was intense and how they were evenly matched for the most part. But towards the end, Derreck was losing and Tenebrous revealed that his father, Derreck's half-brother, had plans for their Laura. That's when Derreck snapped and punched Tenebrous in the cheek. Tenebrous just chuckled and said his debt was paid, and he disappeared back to the Dark Multiverse. They explained that it was a surreal experience, but they were glad it was over.

The other Laura sat in silence, taking in the gravity of the situation. She couldn't imagine what it must have been like to face off against someone so powerful, to break an entire planet, and to have derreck's nephew just walk away with a chuckle. She looked over at the two of them, holding hands, and felt a sense of comfort in their solidarity.

Finally, she spoke up. "I can't imagine what it must be like to have to face off against someone like that. But I'm glad you had each other to rely on."

Their Laura squeezed derreck's hand and smiled at the other Laura. "We wouldn't have made it through without each other. And we'll be here for you too, if you need us."

The other Laura nodded, grateful for their support. "Thank you," she said softly. "It's good to know I have friends here."

Derreck smiled and lifted his monolith off the table, which had flattened back into a solid surface. "You'll always have friends here," he said. "We may come from different worlds, but we're all fighting for the same thing."

The other Laura smiled back at him, feeling a sense of hope for the first time since she arrived on this new world.

Later….

As their Laura explains the drunken antics of Mr. Sinister, Darwin, and Beast, the other Laura listens intently. When she hears Derreck's warning about the rainbow unicorn and Jeff the cartoon cat, she looks confused.

"What does he mean?" the other Laura asks, turning to their Laura. "Who are these people?"

Their Laura chuckles. "It's a long story. But let's just say that Mr. Sinister, Beast, and Darwin went on a drunken bender for a week, and they did some pretty ridiculous things."

The other Laura raises an eyebrow. "Like what?"

Their Laura starts to list off some of the things she remembers from the drunken week, including the creation of a spider toilet and a rainbow unicorn monster.

"And Jeff the cartoon cat?" the other Laura asks, looking even more confused.

Their Laura shrugs. "I have no idea. That must be something they came up with while I wasn't there."

The other Laura looks skeptical but intrigued. "Sounds like quite the group of characters."

Their Laura nods. "You have no idea."

As they discuss the drunken antics of Mr. Sinister, Beast, and Darwin, they suddenly notice a cartoon cat sitting nearby, sipping on a soda and waving at them. "That's Jeff the cartoon cat," their Laura explains. "He's another one of their creations from their drunken escapades."

The other Laura looks at the cartoon cat in disbelief. "They created a cartoon cat?" she asked in shock realizing that it was literally a humanoid cartoon cat.

Their Laura nods. "Yeah, they were messing around with some experimental technology and accidentally brought him to life. He's harmless though, just likes to drink soda and swing his mallet around."

The other Laura shakes her head in disbelief. "I can't believe it," she says. "What kind of world do you come from?"

Their Laura chuckles. "Trust me, our world is just as strange and bizarre as yours. You get used to it after a while."

As the other Laura takes in the sight of Jeff the cartoon cat, she notices a cartoonish vampire-looking guy with two buck teeth eating cereal and chocolate. She asks their Laura about the strange figure, and their Laura explains that it's Count Chocula, another creation of the drunken trio.

The other Laura can't help but shake her head at the absurdity of it all. "What kind of place is this?" she mutters under her breath.

Their Laura chuckles. "You get used to it after a while."

Derreck, who had been standing a few feet away, now joins them. "So, what are we talking about?"

Their Laura fills him in on the drunken trio's creations, including Jeff the cartoon cat and Count Chocula. Derreck raises an eyebrow. "Those three never cease to amaze me."

The other Laura can't help but feel a little bewildered. "Is this normal here?" she asks.

Their Laura nods. "It's just another day in Krakoa."

Their Laura would also mention that Mr. Sinister, Beast, and Darwin created Jeff the Cartoon Cat and Count Chocolate as a way to compete with Derreck, who was unbeatable at everything. She also adds that Derreck even played cards with a ghost that the drunken trio summoned, which made them even more desperate to one-up him. The other Laura can only shake her head in disbelief, realizing that things were not normal at all in this world.

Their Laura also tells the other Laura that Mr sinister in his stupor recorded it all adding up to about 48 things in total, and posted them on the web...which Derreck managed to erase but not before they got 1,000,000 likes and over 250,000 downloads...

The other Laura looks at their Laura in disbelief, "You're telling me that Mr. Sinister recorded all of their drunken shenanigans and posted them online? And it got over a million likes and hundreds of thousands of downloads?" she says, shaking her head.

Their Laura nods, "Yes, it's true. I couldn't believe it myself when I found out. But it's all been erased now, thankfully."

The other Laura lets out a small laugh, "Well, I guess that's one way to make sure your antics are remembered."

Derreck just rolls his eyes and shakes his head, "It was ridiculous. I don't know how they managed to come up with half of the things they did."

Their Laura nodded slowly, trying to take in all the bizarre and amusing information about the drunken trio and their antics. "I can't believe they actually made a toilet with spider legs," she said with a chuckle.

Their Laura grinned and shrugged. "Well, they were pretty drunk," she said. "But yeah, Derreck wasn't too happy about it. He's not a big fan of unsanitary things."

Derreck nodded in agreement. "It was a health hazard," he said simply.

The other Laura shook her head in disbelief. "I don't even know what to say," she said. "But I guess it's good to know that they're not causing any real harm."

Their Laura nodded. "Yeah, they're just a bunch of goofballs," she said with a smile.

Derreck chuckled. "They're certainly entertaining, that's for sure," he said.

Their Laura chuckled and shook her head. "Oh, that wasn't even the worst of it," she said. "They once dropped an anvil on Derreck, and it shattered on impact."

The other Laura's eyes widened in shock. "What?!" she exclaimed. "That's insane!"

Derreck shrugged, seeming unfazed by the memory. "It was just an anvil," he said dismissively. "I've taken worse hits."

Their Laura gave him a look. "Still, it was pretty dangerous," she said. "They should really be more careful."

Derreck nodded in agreement. "I've told them that," he said. "But you know how they can get when they're drunk."

The other Laura shook her head, still trying to wrap her mind around the bizarre events that had just been described to her. "I don't think I'll ever understand those three," she said with a wry smile.

They also brought up the fact that they convinced Derreck to take a relaxing swim in acid that was on fire...

The other Laura's eyes widened in shock. "What?!" she exclaimed. "A swim in acid? That's insane!"

Their Laura nodded. "Yeah, it was pretty crazy," she said with a small laugh. "But it turned out alright. Derreck's pretty resistant to acid, and the fire wasn't too hot."

Derreck chimed in. "I was hesitant at first, but they convinced me it would be refreshing," he said with a small smile. "And it was. The fumes were quite invigorating."

The other Laura still looked slightly horrified. "I don't think I could ever do something like that," she said with a shake of her head.

Their Laura grinned. "Yeah, they can be pretty convincing when they want to be," she said. "But don't worry, we don't let them get away with anything too crazy."

"All in all, in the end they only succeeded in making fools of themselves on the world stage and before their fellow mutants." Laura said.

Their Laura nodded in agreement. "Yeah, they definitely made some questionable decisions," she said with a smirk. "But I guess it's good to have a little fun every now and then, as long as it's not hurting anyone."

Derreck nodded. "Agreed," he said. "I try not to take things too seriously all the time. Life's too short not to enjoy it."

The other Laura smiled at the sentiment. "I can appreciate that," she said. "It's nice to see that even powerful mutants can let loose and have a good time."

Their Laura grinned. "Oh, trust me, we can definitely have a good time," she said with a mischievous glint in her eye.

Derreck chuckled. "I can vouch for that," he said. "But I think it's time for us to get going. We've got work to do."

The other Laura nodded in understanding. "Of course," she said. "Thanks for letting me tag along and for all the interesting stories."

Their Laura smiled. "Anytime," she said. "It was good to catch up with you and see how you're doing. Let's do this again soon."

Also if you guys could comment on this story I would really appreciate it….so long folks!
