8. Chapter 8

Authors notice: I do not own One Piece. Hey everyone hate to say not feeling so well, updates are going be really slow until I am feeling a lot better. Decided to finally get this chapter up and posted lol, as it has been done and fnished for awhile now, just got caught up with other things and such. I do apologize if the editing and fixing errors is inconsistent as I stated,d, haven't been feeling well and did not have the energy to fix everything.

Chapter 8: Adventures with Gaimon on Treasure Island.

A few days have passed since the Straw Hat pirate duo -plus one- had left the island, after freeing the town from the Buggy pirates. With Buggy's crew blasted away, his ship split asunder, and the captain himself blown out of his own cannon and disappearing into the vast, blue skies, the people of Orange Town were safe at last. Bellemere, now feeling relieved about the villager's safety, joined Luffy and Kuina on their search for new potential crewmates, much to their elation. The ex-marine mother, though a bit hesitant, began divulging her reason to them on why she's out on sailing waters. The Straw Hat pirate duo both listened intently to what she had to say.

"I see," Kuina's voice broke out as she adjusted her weight onto her right foot and closed her eyes. "So that's why you're out here sailing the East blue. You're collecting enough money to pay off this Arlong fishman, who has your home and village captive. Is that right?" Kuina asked as she stretched out her blue, sleeveless tank top and gently pulled down the shirt from the hems.

"Yeah, that's right," Bellemere answered while focusing her attention on the turn wheel, being careful not to have their moderately size ship crash into any nearby reefs. "I thought I could handle them and made some stupid choices. Not only did it nearly cost me my life, but also everyone else's on the island." The woman sighed as she closed her eyes. "And I put one of my daughters, Nami, in even more danger. Arlong found and took note of her incredible map skills and navigation. He then took her hostage and forced her to become a part of Arlong's pirate crew."

Luffy breathed out lightly to control his temper and not burst out in frustration. "There's at least someone within that pirate crew who's taking care of her, right?" He asked while folding his hands behind his head, watching the mother look at him and nodding her head. Luffy grinned widely, then said, "That's good to hear! What's his name?" Luffy asked curiously, having Bellemere giggle softly.

"His name is Hachin, an octopus fishman. He promised to look after Nami and make sure she would be fine." The woman said, then leaned lightly on the turn wheel, looking up in thought. "Come to think of it, Hachin is probably the only friend Nami had made within the group. Compared to the others, he's the nicest fishman we've met." She then laughed when the two teens leaned close, wanting to know his behavior or how he acts. "You could say Hachin is like a caring uncle. He's pretty goofy whenever he calls through the transponder snail, always making sure the conversation isn't so tense."

Kuina smiled and then rubbed her chin in a sly manner. "Well then, I'm sure my captain and I could help you out with the payment." The swordswoman replied, causing Bellemere to blink her eyes. "After all, we're pirates~" She grinned while lightly rolling her shoulders. "As pirates, we have to sail the seas and find treasure! Right, Luffy?" Kuina smirks at the straw hat teen.

"Shishishi~ of course!" Luffy exclaimed while raising an arm up. "We wouldn't be pirates if we didn't find any treasure." The teen then looked up to the sky and thought it over. "Come to think of it, do we have a map to look at?" Luffy asked, earning confused looks from the girls. "I want to be sure of where we are, and there's something I want to check."

"I have one in my bag actually," Bellemere says as she leaves the steering wheel and reaches for her bag, which was resting against the left side of where she was. She bent down and opened the bag up, grabbing a rolled-up paper. With the map in hand, she walked over to the others and then placed it down onto a nearby desk slash table she set up near the wheel. The ex-marine then spread the map open, revealing their current location in the east blue.

As Kuina and Luffy approached the desk and looked it over, Luffy couldn't help but smile and remember what Shanks told him about an island. Which is usually not marked within any types of maps of the sea but marked within treasure maps. "We should be right here, a few days away from where we just left." Bellemere pointed out. Then looked up with her eyes and watched Luffy placing his finger on Orange Town and began sliding his finger ever slightly away from it.

A memory flashed through the boy's head about what he could recall Shanks told him, an island that is told through children's stories: Treasure Island. His finger stops about a couple distance north by north-east of the island, where Syrup village can be seen. "This should be the spot." Luffy smiled, having both girls stare and blink their eyes at the spot his finger stopped at. "Around here, there's rumors of an island, hidden within a large thunderstorm. If anyone manages to land on the island, they will be in the eye of the storm."

Bellemere hummed as Kuina lifted herself upright while tilting her head. "I think I heard of this island as well during my time hunting pirates." She said, earning a raised eyebrow from the pink-haired woman while the teenage girl looked back at her captain. A few seconds later, she widened her eyes. "Wait... You mean to tell us-" She asked as Bellemere kept turning her head between the two, before facing Luffy who nodded his head and confidently crossed his arms.

"Yup, the Legendary Island known as-" Luffy then turned his body halfway as they could hear distant rumbling out in the seas. Indicating there is a storm nearby, but what made it odd is how the clouds aren't moving or spreading any farther than the area it resided. "Treasure island!" He grinned widely, alerting Bellemere of what he just said and looked back at the map "Shanks told me a lot about this place, but never dared sail to it. He said that he and his crew had no reason to set foot on the island. But from what the story told, there's some kind of God or protector on the island. Apparently, they watch over it and will cause trouble to those who have set foot there."

"Th... That can't be real, is it really a treasure island!?" Bellemere exclaimed in disbelief. But her eyes are in fact seeing one of the many telltale signs of it being the case. Considering Luffy knows the tale by heart, as well as whatever details he gained from whoever this Shanks was, she was starting to believe him. "Luffy, are you certain that what is on the map, and what's over there, is Treasure Island?" Bellemere asked, hoping the teen wasn't pulling her leg or trying to play a joke on her. Especially after telling her story about Arlong.

Kuina shook in excitement as she smiled at the direction of the island and nodded. "No doubt about it, that's Treasure Island!" Kuina laughed excitedly, "I heard about this island from the pirates I turned in for their bounties. When I asked, they told me about this island and went into a bunch of details. Despite getting there, they never got far whenever they landed. They would scream and flee from the island in terror. What they ran from...I don't know." Then look at Bellemere. "But that's definitely Treasure Island. But even if it's not?" Then laughed and had Bellemere shaking her head while placing a finger on her own forehead. "We can always explore it to see if it does have buried treasure, or just relax."

This had Luffy chuckling as he agreed with his first mate on this. If it's not the treasure island, they can still search the island for any buried treasure and take a good long break from all the sailing and battling he and Kuina had gone through these past couple days. While he's one for adventure, the boy had to admit that it'd be nice to settle down and relax for a while. They needed to take a break from everything, but afterwards they'd continue their journey tomorrow. "Well, since we're all for it, let's go to the island!"

Bellemere can't help but start getting excited herself, the teens just acting happy about finding the fabled island starting to get to her. Despite her being a full-grown adult and common sense telling her otherwise than land, she decided to indulge on the teens and sailed over there. But with the storm clouds present above, it would be rough getting there, but not impossible sail through. "Alright, though do not be disappointed if it happens to be false." Bellemere laughed. "So, no pouting or moody behavior out of you two, roger?"

"Roger!" Both Luffy and Kuina exclaimed with wide smiles. Honestly, adventure waits for no one and seeing how they're nearby and everything leads to the island being Treasure Island? There is no way they wouldn't go and explore! Luffy turned to face the island and grinned while reminiscing his childhood, with Shanks and his crew telling him about those tales of the island. The Straw Hat captain couldn't wait to tell the red-haired man how he was able to discover the hidden treasures of the rumored island!

The group managed to sail through the stormy weather. The boat creaked and sailed through the rough waves, crashing and hitting hard against the ocean waters with the rain icy cold droplets hit and smack against the straw hats and Bellemere- but they preserved and continued sailing forward, even beginning to relax when the stormy clouds broke apart after making their way closer to the center. Feeling the bright and shining midday sun hitting their faces and skin0. Drying them up and the water that had landed on the ship.

They reached to the eye of the storm as they say- where silence and warm weather blanketed them and the large island in front of them. Having the trio to sigh softly and smile at each other managing to get through one of the many obstacles and began reaching the shores. Once they reached the beach of the island, Kuina walked over towards the anchor and threw it overboard and had it slam into the ground- to make sure that their boat wouldn't be carried off into the ocean and stranded them there.

Once that was done everyone began hopping out of the boat and onto the sandy beach. Luffy being the first to walk forward, holding onto his straw hat and began scanning and looking at the forest before them. Hearing Kuina and Bellemere climbing down the ladder of the boat and grunted when they jumped onto the sandy beach. "Hmm," Luffy began humming as he tried to get a good feel of the area, while trying to sense if they were in danger or not? He felt eyes staring back at him, but not out of fear or animosity- more of curiosity or sizing him and the girls up as if animals were the ones looking them over. "Well then now that we are here, what should we do before we go and search for treasure?" Luffy asked with a wide smile and spun around to face the girls.

Kuina hummed as she approached and stopped a few feet from Luffy. Then felt those eyes like Luffy did but sensed no real danger. The girl then looked around the beach and hummed, "Well? Right now, we're the only ones here besides probably natural habitat animals. And considering how long we've been journeying?" Then hummed and closed her eyes, crossing her arms around her chest and thought it over. "I- honestly don't know...I usually practice and train with my swords whenever I am not busy hunting and such."

Luffy nods "Yeah, I usually do the same with my Gum-Gum fruit, but usually explore the area and see what I can discover." He laughed. Having Bellemere who was adjusting the ladder of the boat, so it wouldn't get tangled or snap off. Stared over at the teenagers and lowered her eyes confusingly. Hearing how the two of them weren't thinking of ways to have fun or taking a relaxing break for themselves. Granted, she honestly doesn't know them personally or what they went through before becoming pirates. Besides that, Kuina is a Pirate hunter and skilled swordswoman, while Luffy is a Devil fruit user and had started sailing the seas to look for the One Piece. Yet, they weren't behaving or acting like regular teenagers…

Bellemere sighed and then closed her eyes and hung her mouth open slightly, "Wow- when you two told me how you haven't taken a break. Seems like it's up to me as a parent, to show and teach you kids how to relax and enjoy yourselves." Giggled the woman and then walked away from the boat. Watching the two kids looking towards her, well Kuina more with a confusing stare than Luffy- as Luffy eyes is silently saying he wanted to explore the island and check out what's here, which is probably his way of having fun and relaxing time. The woman stopped in front of them and laughed. "So, if you guys don't mind, how about we actually use this as also a vacation break from traveling so much." She informed and got Luffy to have the widest grin on his face.

"After all- all three of us have been traveling a lot none-stop. Especially me, considering how long I was out at sea trying to pay off Arlong." Bellemere added, having Luffy nod in understanding while Kuina seems a little off putting about the idea. While then looking towards her captain with a bit of worry. She then faced Bellemere and thumbs towards Luffy.

"I don't know, would it be a good idea to leave him to himself? What if he needs someone to care for him?" Kuina made an excuse to not really relax or take a break- as being the first mate and what she knows of being one. She needs to be sure Luffy will be safe, Devil fruit user or not. He can still get cut and injured by wild animals here, even poisoned too. Having Luffy laughing openly as he patted the girl's shoulders.

"You don't need to worry Kuina, I will be really careful!" He exclaimed and paused his laughing when he saw the seriousness in her eyes when she glared at him. Making the straw hat teen to let out a very soft breath and hum to himself, "This is what Shanks means by never worrying your crewmates, especially your first mate. Your first mate will become your closest friend in the world- always treat them the same and make sure you don't worry them or your family." Luffy told himself and recollected what Shanks told him. If he wants to be a good captain, he must take his crew's worries and consideration of his safety.

Bellemere smiled fondly at the two as she saw Kuina giving Luffy quite the stare. No doubt being very concerned for the boy, despite being a rubber man. Kuina knows there is still the natural nature and natural animals can harm the boy if he wasn't careful. Course she also thinks that because Kuina, another means of being worried, is that the girl is also showing feelings for him. She won't blame her for that as the two had told her how they met, which was Luffy saving her from the corrupt marine Morgan and his son.

Luffy then softens his look and thumbs his chest, "Don't worry Kuina! I will be safe, I will be very careful while exploring, won't cause any trouble." Then rest a hand on her shoulder watching the girl stare at it and then back to him. "If I do get into some trouble, I will let out the loudest piercing scream to let you two know I need help!" Laughed the boy, having Kuina deadpan and hanging her mouth at the phrasing of that last sentence. "Wait...no that won't do." Luffy quickly corrected himself, "that will just make you both more worried." He chuckled softly, getting the girl to sigh and rolled her shoulder off from his hand. "OH whistling! I-"

"Can you even whistle?" Kuina asked firmly while crossing her arms pushing her chest upwards and heard a small hum from the boy, then saw him shifting his eyes towards the right humming even more as if he was thinking it over. Making Kuina to lean closer and learning at the straw hat teen- who is now sweating slightly from the leer. "You can't, can you"

"My gosh, they're way too cute with each other. I'll be surprised if they're not a couple by now.," Bellemere was doing everything in her power not to snicker or boast in laughter at the two teenagers' antics. Watching Luffy raising both hands upward with open palms, walking backwards from Kuina who continued leering and glaring at the boy- as the captain was trying to think of something to convince Kuina not to worry about him.

"Um...OH!" Then snaps his fingers and then throws both of his arms upwards towards the sky! Going quite far and stretching out and over the treetops, where his limbs will easily be seen from any parts of the island. "I got it- if I need help, I will snap my arms and make a sound with them!" Luffy exclaimed as he made his right hand, coiled around his left arm for a brief moment and stretched out the limb and had it slapped against his right arm. Causing a resounding snap to echo out loudly!

Then brought his arms back down to himself with a couple snaps when they got back to his body, smiling brightly at Kuina who hummed and pursed her lips to the side. Then stood upright, then sighed, "alright- that…" then snorted, "that is a very clever way to use your powers there." Giggle the girl, as it was indeed clever cause the resounding snap will reach anyone's ears. "Though I suggest only doing that when we know, we're the only ones and no enemies are around. Be bad to-"

This had Luffy interrupting her as he widened his expression and nodded with arms crossed. "Yeah, they will know where I am and might intercept me or cause trouble." then thumbs up the girl. "Right! Will only do it if we're the only ones in the area!" Glad to see it was good enough for his first mate to trust him. Luffy then thought to himself as well leaving a mental note- "Okay Luffy, seeing how worried Kuina was about you exploring by yourself. Ease your crew members' worries and let them know you'll be fine. To even ask one of them to join you too- so this way not all of them will be scared or worry about your safety." After all he thought, Shanks told him there are a lot of responsibilities to being a captain.

And this is one of them, if Kuina was that worried about him despite knowing how skilled he is and strong with that fight against Buggy. His first mate still felt worried and concerned for his safety, especially on an unknown island like this one. The two then look at Bellemere who smiled and clapped her hands together.

"Well then that's out of the way and Luffy will let us know if he needs help...Actually," Bellemere then stuck her tongue out and dug one of her hands into her pockets. Having the teenagers stare and watch her bring something out, which made Kuina smile and relax even more so as she saw Bellemere. Pulling out a miniature Transponder snail. "Here Luffy, you can use this to contact us." Informed the mother watching Luffy smile, all the while liking the idea as he takes the portable transponder snail. "This will be connected to my marine transponder snail," she then pulls out the sailor snail from her other pocket and grins. "Here you can still be in contact and will rush to your aid in case you need it." Then look at Kuina. "Think this will ease up your mind?"

Kuina smirks and happily cock her hip out, "Oh yes- most definitely. A transponder snail will be better than Luffy exposing his position."

"Definitely better for me, I think will go with this than what I had originally planned." While then patting Kuina back hard, having the girl move forward and blush softly and couldn't help but laugh with the chuckling boy. "As my first mate is right~ be dumb of me to let my position away like that if I did snap my arms." Then happily accepts the transponder snail. "Thanks Bellemere, I will definitely make sure to give my crew their own in the future."

"There ya go, now you're thinking like a Captain." Bellemere smiled and then crossed her arms. "Alright then, you go and explore Luffy- Kuina and I will be here relaxing and doing some chores okay? No doubt some of the clothes you both have needs washing after all." snicker the mother, having the two teens stare for a bit and then look at each other then back to Bellemere.

"They need to be washed?" They both asked with bemused looks, then both let out yells of pain and were now crouching down low to the ground. Holding their large bumps on their head that were letting out smoke from the powerful punches the mother gave them. Who is now twitching her brow and quickly coughed to calm herself down. Watching the teary eye duo look at her and shake a bit when she gave them quite the scolding face.

"Of course, they need to be washed, otherwise you won't have anything to wear!" Bellemere scolded showing her mother side, as she leaned forward and wagged a finger at the two. "For real- if you two don't wash or clean your clothes! You won't have anything to wear, let alone be exposing your body to everyone. Or be forced to wear very dirty and smelly clothes!" She told them and saw the two blinked a couple of times, then looked at each other as Luffy whispered.

"She has a point; I don't want to get weird looks from being smelly." Luffy said.

"Right...and if we are getting more crew members, it would be disrespectful too." Kuina added.

"Good, Luffy, you go ahead and explore. I'll teach you how to clean and wash clothes when you get back okay?" Bellemere stated, then laughed when Luffy and Kuina stood up slowly with the boy humming in response, while then giving them a wave of his hand and letting them know he will be back from his exploring. "While you Kuina." Bellemere said as they watched Luffy heading off into the forest, starting over at the girl who looked back. "I'll teach you the ropes, but also let you know how to have fun, relax and just enjoy yourself. That isn't about training or overexerting your body with your sword."

"Huh...aren't there other ways to have fun without training or improving my swordsmanship?" Kuina asked while watching Bellemere heading on over to the boat, with the young girl following right behind her- now curious what kind of things she could have fun with? That wasn't about sword training or improving her skills.

Luffy who left the girls behind and allowed them to do whatever they wanted. Is now walking within the forest, Just casually taking steps through the woods and forest, peering in different directions of anything that will catch his interest. He heard a few rustles here and there, having the straw hat teen to stand still and playfully crouching down in case- it was a small animal peeking their heads out to see him. The boy then cocked his head with his eyes blinking seeing what looked to be rabbit ears, however said rabbit ears- came hissing sounds from the bush. Luffy raised a brow and then opened his mouth in astonishment, as the creature came slithering out with a white long snake body, but having a rabbit tail and rabbit- like ears!

"OOH" The teenager cooed out and smiled widely when he watched the snake slithered by and not bothering him. Having the straw hat teen to stand upright, while then facing forward when he heard what would be a rooster? However, the hair was yes rooster-like, along with a rooster body, however- the head and tail were wrong. Instead it was a dog's head and a dog tail there instead of an actual rooster. "Huh, a rooster dog." Luffy chuckled and watched the canine-fowl approach him and sniff a couple of times, before letting out a low cluck and began walking away. "Shishishi~ this is quite a funny place!" Laughed the black hair teen.

He then faced back forward and began walking once more- being sure to duck once in a while from some vines, but also some of the animals that were flying low- to which was a Cat's head on a bat;s body. Some were monkeys with a pig's body leaping and swinging on vines to reach the next tree branch, while some of the birds that were nestled in their nests- had Bat wings. The island is quite strange but also quite exhilarating as well- never he thought would see odd combinations of animals like these anywhere. "I wonder what caused or made these types of mutations?" He pondered openly, then stopped walking while holding his right leg up "Whoops!"

Luffy then laughed watching what looked to be duck-otters waddling by and letting out small and cute barks as they walked by, while bowing their heads at Luffy saying thanks. "Heh," then places his foot back down behind him, while watching the otterlettes waddle by, counting how many were traveling behind the mother and then snicker when the last one tripped and fell onto its belly- then proceeds sliding forward. "I have to say this place is kind of awesome." Luffy laughed as he then looked around his current position. "However, I do wonder if there are any treasures here or not?" He pondered while placing a hand against his chin.

One thing for sure he hasn't sensed any hostility in the area, just a lot of curious eyes looking at him and studying him. That's about it, no traces or signs of humans being around either- even though pirates and travelers have gone to this island. Not a lot of people stayed because of certain rumors going around, how strange and weird the place can become. And the one huge factor of said rumor- The Island God. "If there was a God or entity guarding and protecting this place, they should've shown up by now. Or immediately after the girls and I set foot on the place?"

It was confusing indeed he thought and very curious of meeting this God as well. Curious if it us like the animals here, being a combination of two or three different types of animal parts. Luffy eyes smiled at the thought. "A real life Chimera! Oh that'll be totally awesome to see during my adventures!" The boy exclaimed, as he went ahead and continued moving deeper into the forest. "But for now, I gotta check and see if there's any treasures to be found." The straw hat teeen mused to himself while softening his expression. Hearing how long Bellemere had been sailing the seven seas, collecting treasures and payments to this Arlong fishman. The description of the pirate came rushing into his mind, recalling seeing Bellemere's wanted list in her boat when he came across the calendar. Ten years, ten years Bellemere has been sailing the blue seas in hopes of freeing her village and saving Nami and would have made the deadline.

Only for the Buggy pirates blowing up her ship, losing everything she collected over the years and her ship. "I hope I can find some here, even if it is a little treasure horde. Anything will be good enough to help her save Nami." Luffy muttered out while looking towards the canopy of the trees. "Well, buried treasure or hidden treasures won't spawn directly in front of me. Gotta search and dig up Luffy." Laughed the teenager as he wrapped his hands behind his neck, continuing to stare up towards the sky. Spotting some more of those animals who inhabit the island, laughing at seeing parrot flying squirrels flying overhead.

Though widened his eyes and hardened his expression when he heard what sounded like rough branch movements. Weight actually being pushed on them and causing the canopy bushes to shake! Luffy had a gut feeling that was not an animal, considering the movement was hurried and swift- leaving quit the noise and letting out their positioned! The teen quickly raised his fists up ready to defend himself, searching and shifting his eyes in all directions to keep his guard up. "Definitely not an animal. This guy's definitely human... giving off a dangerous vibe." Luffy thought to himself, hearing more rustling and shaking of tree branches above him.

He swiftly turned when he managed to sense where the creature was going to head toward, throwing his arm back and shouting out. "There you are! Gum-Gum," then threw his fist forward with swiftness in the punch, "Pistol!" He cried out and watched his fist soar through the air and arching upwards towards the treetops. Hearing a frightful; yelp and scream of pain! Too Luffy humming as he felt what also is wood? "Wait, do humans have wood on their skin?" He bemused out and felt his arm retracting back towards him, while a large black blur fell straight down towards the ground and nearby bushes.

Alerting the straw hat teenager of their location and began dashing on over to them. Pondering over the thought of somebody having wood as their body? Or like the animals- were Humans probably did succeed in coming here and not being scared off, were fused or having them becoming the natural forest itself and began transforming from this...God's wrath into becoming nature itself. It excites Luffy, but is also concerned that it might happen to the girls!

Luffy isn't worried about himself turning into one, as death does not scare him. But losing the ability to sail and finding the one piece? That might be difficult to do if he becomes a tree or a log or something. "Well I will be the first Devil fruit user to become a Devil wood user!" Luffy cracked a pun, laughing at his own joke while approaching the bushes that person fell into and began moving and pushing the leaves aside along with walking through. Being very mindful that they also weren't poison ivy as well. Arriving to the spot and hearing a voice hissing and growling out in pain and agony, to even spilling out a few choice words from their mouth.

To which the person then gasped and whipped their heads to their right shoulder, staring Luffy dead in the eye when the boy managed to push through the last bush and just stood there eyeing the creature in front of him- while the creature stared back… Luffy blinked his eyes a couple of times, and the creature mimicked as well. Then both of them tilted their heads and then straightened them as Luffy then asked with a deadpan tone, "W...What are you wearing? And why are you wearing a treasure chest over top of your body?"

Back with the girls, who were setting up a nice little campsite, were preparing to take it easy and relax. Bellemere suggested to Kuina and Luffy how, since they're still young, they shouldn't rush things and take a break once in a while. The woman had given Luffy permission to go and explore the nearby forest, not before promising his first mate Kuina he'll be alright and was given a transponder snail from Bellemere. The ex-marine let out a low sigh as she had some clothes lines connecting from their boat and towards a nearby tree. She was washing the clothes that the teenagers had on hand, even teaching Kuina how to properly clean up their clothes.

The mother giggled at how confused the two were about needing to wash their clothes. Only to be convinced that being smelly is not something they should be comfortable with. The mother hummed when she heard some frustrating growls coming from the bushes. Bellemere leaned her head sideways and looked in the bushesdirectionn, spotting Kuina's blue hair from behind them. "Everything okay Kuina?" Bellemere asked and then pursed her lips to the side playfully when she heard a couple more growls. No doubt the swordswoman was having trouble getting the two piece bikini Bellemere offered to her onto her body. Even spotting the girl leaning forward and fumbling about with the straps of the bikini top.

"Yeah… I can't get this stupid bikini bra on! How do girls even get these to work?! I thought regular bras were frustrating." The girl huffed while throwing her arms up in frustration and watching the teal color bikini bra fall once more. "Bellemere…" Kuina began speaking up with quite a bashful tone and a little blush crossing her face. Having the mother roll her eyes in happy mirth, knowing Kuina is feeling embarrassed about asking for help. "Do… you think you could?" Kuina continued while turning her head sideways and began looking over her shoulders, blue eyes connecting to orange eyes. The pink-haird woman laughed a bit as she finished straightening up the laundry and bending under the clothes line.

"No need to be bashful Kuina, I was like you once when I began wearing bras and trying to get a swimsuit on by myself too. There's nothing wrong about asking for assistance." Informed Bellemere as she made her way over towards the girl. She pushed through the bushes and entered the area Kuina was using to get changed, as she stepped in front of the girl and looked her over. "Alright, you're having trouble with the bra right?" Bellemere asked as she saw the girl blushing while slightly covering herself a bit, shivering from the cold air hitting against her body. Kuina nodded in response and watched the ex-marine bend down to pick up the teal bikini bra and walk behind her. "Alright, no biggie. This is usually tricky for us girls." She told Kuina who watched her walk behind her and then lifted her arms up slightly to help the young girl.

The mother wondered how the two were doing, but quickly shook her head. "Anyway, I will be right back. I'll grab some suntan lotion and get my own swimsuit on, and I can teach you how to relax and enjoy the wonders of tanning in the sun." Bellemere chuckled out as she began walking out of the bushes and towards the boat.

Kuina followed behind and turned her directions towards the shores, seeing where the beach chairs were waiting for the two. The girl went ahead and approached the water and began looking through her reflection. The blue-haired teenager stared at herself, silently tilting and twisting her body left to right to get a good idea of how she looks in the swimsuit. Kuina began saying before pausing her sentence as she looked at the ex-marine over again. "I just didn't expect you to have such a body." The blue-haired girl giggled as Bellemere tilted her head with her left eyebrow raising. "I mean…" Kuina trailed and then shrugged while lifting her arms halfway.

"I figured you wouldn't have this kind of figure and let yourself go for a while. Ever since settling down and watching over your daughters." Kuina smirked while Bellemere had quite a nefarious expression on her face as her smile grew slightly, expecting this discussion about her figure would have come up sooner or later. "Oh, I see now," Bellemere hangs onto the sentence, pretending to be insulted and hurt, while shaking her head. "That's probably what you think most mother's or caretakers will let themselves go, just because they're taking care of kids." She continued as Kuina's expression suddenly went from teasing to confusion. "Well, I expected as much from you with that kind of attitude." She sighed with a fake hurtful expression and then turned around. "I guess I have no choice then-"

"Huh?" Kuina began pondering what the woman was doing and then began panicking when she began heading back towards the ship, looking to be extremely hurt and offended by Kuina's comment.

"If that is how you think all mothers are, then I shouldn't waste you or Luffy's time then." She said and proceeded to approach the ramp that led towards the deck. "Oh well. I guess I, the only one in this group who knows how to sail, will just have to leave then. Especially if one of these two pirates is going to treat their navigator like that."

Kuina started panicking when she saw the woman begin stepping foot onto the ramp and began ascending up it. "Wait-wait-wait Bellemere!" Kuina squeaked out and began jogging forward in hopes of stopping the ex-marine. "I-I was joking! I didn't really mean to upset you like that!" Cried Kuina and nearly raised her voice even more when bellemere. Was about to step down onto the deck before stopping and turning her head, looking over her shoulders while sniffling and hiccuping. "I...I was just shocked at how well...your assets are so big, I didn't expect to see anyone with that kind of figure!"

She calmly turns around and faces down at the girl as she hiccuped a couple times, "you mean it?"

Kuina sighed and hung her arms down and shoulders, nodding her head while looking up towards the woman with her eyes. "Yeah I am sorry- I honestly didn't mean to hurt your feelings. Are we good?" Kuina asked and waited for the woman to respond. Watching the ex-marine whipping her right arm over both of her eyes and then began snickering and snorting through her arm. Having Kuina to raise a curious and confused brow before her eyes turned into dots with a dumbfounded expression etching across her face now when Bellemere began laughing loudly.

"Hahaha, man should have seen your face!" Chortled the ex-marine while making her way back down the ramp. "I wasn't upset or hurt at all- I went and pulled a prank on you to get back at your comment. While making you feel guilty!" Bellowed the woman as she approached the dumbfounded teenager, who then shook her head and felt Bellemere placing both hands onto her shoulders. Smiling at the girl. "No harm done my dear, though I did need to see how you handle someone. Who might play with your emotions and make you feel guilty." Bellemere told Kuina, who stared owlishly for a while.

"See there will be people out there in this world. That might or may try and manipulate you into doing what they want you to do- without your consent or opinion on the matter. Tricking you into doing something you will regret or don't want to do." The ex-marine continued and then happily rubbed Kuina's head and hair, getting the girl to grunt lightly and smile softly. "Come on, let's go and relax and get that tan." Bellemere instructed while swaying her way towards the beach chairs.

This had Kuina turning around and watching the pink-haired woman approach one of the chairs. Having the swordswoman let out a low sigh of relief and then shaking her head, "Well played, well played indeed- but if what she says is true? Then that means Luffy and I- along with whoever joins us. Will have to be very aware of those who will play with our emotions like that." Though Kuina will definitely get her payback on the mother. No one makes a fool out of her and gets away with it!

Bellemere had gone and sat down on her beach chair, holding onto the suntan lotion in one hand before placing it onto the small table she had between her and Kuina's lawn chair. The mother then shrugs figuring there was no harm in letting the girl put the lotion on her.

"Sure I don't mind," Bellemere agreed and turned around with her back facing the girl and leaning ever slightly forward on the side of the beach chair. The woman then grabbed her ponytail and slung it over her left shoulder. "Think you could do my back first, then do my sides as well? I will get the rest of my body when you're done." Bellemere said and offered Kuina to put the lotion onto her back.

The teenager smirked as she had a glint in her eyes, as she slid over to the side of her chair and reached for the lotion. "Oh I will be doing more than just your back and sides." Kuina thought to herself as she then moved off the chair, kneeling down against the sandy ground and began squeezing the lotion bottle to pour the content onto her right hand. Once she had enough, Kuina placed the bottle back onto the table, clapped her hands together and rubbed them. With the lotion now applied on both hands, she moved both of them towards Bellemere's shoulders.

The pink-haired woman let out a low gasp of air from the sudden coldness of the lotion, but then hummed when Kuina began kneading and rubbing her fingers over her shoulders and the lower half of her neck. Using her palms to reach the shoulder blades and began doing squeezing motions first, then began kneading in a circular motion. "Mmm...didn't expect you to be good with your hands." Bellemere jokes, getting Kuina to blush slightly. But then the girl laughed, realizing what she meant as the mother snorted, "Considering how you wield that sword of yours? I am surprised how firm and soft your hands are."

"Make sense," Kuina laughed as she began doing Bellemere's upper back now while pressing lightly into the woman, making her rock back and forth. "My father's sword hilt has special padding on it that doesn't cause any skin burns when swinging it around or using it in a fight. "Alright, but you will tell me about that sensation or else." then grinned wickedly towards her and began wiggling her fingers. "I will do it again~" she sing-sang out.

Causing Bellemere to let out a low squeak and turn red while feeling her lower regions burning at the idea and quickly shook her head. "Alright, alright...just don't blame me if you get embarrassed." Bellemere growled out and began laying on her beach chair and let out a low groan, having Kuina just humming at the ex-marine and then shrugged. Figuring to let it go for now and enjoy this tanning session.

Back with Luffy who had encountered a strange man that was inside or part of what looked to be a treasure chest. Had helped the man up from the ground and began listening to him and speaking with the man- who had introduced himself as Gaimon. About the island and how he was the first person to ever set foot on this island and had been searching for the treasure. While here he had also become friends with the strange animal-like creatures here, despite the condition he was in and how he's been stuck inside the treasure chest all his life? He had made a sworn duty to make sure nobody disturbs or causes panic here on the island and the amazing animals.

"Ah I see so that's what happened." Luffy replied after listening to the story and crouching down. Having both of his hands under his chin, as the straw hat teen went ahead and looked towards the animals. "And because of you scaring one of the sailors who made it here." Luffy began, while the wild and hairy man went ahead and finished Luffy's thought.

"I had inadvertently fallen into one of the treasure chests here and fused with it. Ever since then I couldn't get out of this box." he then laughed with a wide smile. "But it's not too bad- makes me nice and warm during the cold winter days!" He then chuckled and laughed, "plus it is also nice and cool during the hot summer days." he informed and then looked out to the forest- as the animals were now beginning to show themselves more, seeing and sensing Luffy not being a threat to them. That and Gaimon is being friendly with the teenager too- so it must be safe.

Luffy smiled when he saw the animals were being more open and showing themselves around him in a more calm and safe manner. "I don't blame ya for wanting to protect them. They are definitely exoctic creatures...be bad if someone poached them and sold them in the black market." Luffy stated which had Gaimon closing his eyes with a smile. Amazed how the teenager is respecting the animals wishes and seeing it through his eyes. "So besides protecting the animals and scaring people off the island...which I do have two others with me." Luffy quickly explained, twisting his body to look at the man. "But they're no threat, they're just relaxing right now and enjoying the sandy beach." Luffy said while smiling.

Gaimon laughed, understanding the boy and made sure to not bother the friends. "But were you able to figure out if there was or were any treasures here?" Luffy continued asking and hummed when he saw the man stare at him for a while, while then looking up in thought and doing his best to cross his arms over the box. "See Bellemere, who's an ex-marine and sailing with me right now." Luffy began explaining while thumbing behind him. "Is trying to find treasure and money so that she can pay off this bad pirate name Arlong./" Luffy then stood up and clapped his hands against the side of his thighs. "Who currently has her daughter Nami- hostage and forcing the girl to make and draw maps of the seas for his fishmen crew." Then raised his right arm, "not only that but he also has taken her entire home island hostage and forced the people there to pay him rent for living there. Making it unbearable and impossible to live in."

"And yer here hoping the stories are true and that there is treasure?"" Gaimon finished for him and felt his heart reaching out for this ex-marine...not even her, but Luffy! Amazed and admirable of the straw hat teenager and captain of his own crew. To set sail and go out of his way to help this woman save her daughter and home island. "You're an odd pirate? Why would a pirate go and help someone like that?" He was curious of Luffy's reasoning and couldn't help but bellow in laughter when Luffy had the widest grin and smile on his face shouting.

"Being free is what a Pirate does! Not bound by rules and do whatever they want out in the seas and adventuring." Luffy then laughed and rubbed the back of his neck. "Bad or good- there's no reason for a pirate to help out someone who is in need of help or in trouble." While laughing. "That and she's a mother, it will be dishonorable to help a mother in need...especially when she wants to save her daughter." Luffy then smiled softly and then looked up to the sky. "Honestly...I feel for her, I don't remember much of my own mother or recall what she looks like. All I know was that my uncle Garp- wanted to protect me for some odd reason." The teenager then looked down at Gaimon, who was sniffling and tearing up from listening to Luffy's story- even having a bit of a snot bubble hanging off from his nose.

"So I have no real reason to not help her out and get her daughter back." Luffy then snickered. "Plus from what she has told me, her daughter is a really good navigator too- so hopefully and also not being rude about it?" He chuckled softly at the end while looking away. "I'm hoping to ask if her daughter could become my navigator." Getting Gaimon to laugh lightly and nodding at what Luffy is referring to.

"Say no more my friend, your heart is in the right place and you're hoping it won't be disrespectful if you asked Nami to join ya." The man then groaned and thought it over in his head, as he tried to figure out if the legends are true or not. That and be wrong of him not to help a mother out! You have to be a monster not to help a mother in her time of need..."I have looked and searched everywhere on this island for any type of treasure." He began saying then lowering his head. "But no luck, I have been searching for a very long time." Then lower his arms and open up his right hand. "Only place I have yet checked is in the center of the island. But I wouldn't get your hopes up."

This had the black-haired teen nodding while pursing his lips to the side. "Right, since you check everywhere- what would be the odds of it being in the center." Then laughs having a wide smile. "Never know till you look right!" He announced while snickering, "who knows maybe it is there- you're just been busy protecting your friends." Luffy said, having the man chortle in glee and even nodding in agreement.

"That is true!" The man laughed, "I have been busy protecting my animal friends here. Since you and your party are the only ones here. I don't see why I can't go with ya and check the place out." informed the man and then turned completely around and looked towards the forest. "In fact, my animal friends know this island really well. I will call them over and see if one of them has seen anything suspicious."

The man then moved two of his thumbs into his mouth and began blowing, whistling out loudly through the forest canopy and treetops- as the whistle echoed throughout the jungle. Not loud enough however for Kuina and Bellemere to hear. After getting done whistling, both he and Luffy heard rustling and cries of the animal life in the jungle. All excitedly making their way to their location as the animals Luffy saw from earlier, were making their appearance and approaching Gaimon. Even some of the half bird and half cat like animals were swooping down from the canopy and flying around the two, landing onto some nearby branches and letting out low meows. With rooster-dogs, rabbit-snakes, monkey bats- a large crowd of them had gathered and were staring at Gaimon.

Luffy couldn't help but laugh at the sight of all the different animals before them. The teenager then looked at Gaimon, who began chanting and speaking towards the large group of the animals. Having the pirate captain curious of what he is asking...though safe bet asking one of them if they have seen anything strange on the island's center. Making some of the animals look at one another, then chanting and chattering to each other. With a few of them looking in thought, while some were just kind of sitting there sleeping or resting comfortably on their spots.

Few of the flying ones however let out low meows and ooks, as they attracted Gaimon's attention and began speaking to him- with the Monkey-bats moving their arms outward and pointing towards the northern-eastern direction of the island. Explaining to the man how they have seen a couple of strange structures whenever they flew by in that direction. "Really?! There's something in the middle of the island!" This had Luffy widening his eyes and stepping forward when he heard Gaimon exclaim that out loud. Then watching the monkey bats and bird-cats nodding their heads, while the other animals were also chattering about, letting him know they too saw the weird structures. "Then lead the way friends! We have to help Luffy's friend here to save her daughter! If there's treasure there, that is even better!"

The animals happily cried out and began heading out, with a few of the sleeping ones getting jolted from their slumber and began blinking their eyes confusingly, to then immediately giving chase. "Come on Luffy- my friends say there are structures in the center of the island!" Gaimon told him, while giving chase to the animals- with Luffy following right behind him. "I still don't know if there will be treasures there- but it doesn't hurt to check it out."

"Are you sure about this though?" Luffy began asking while running alongside the man, who looked up at him. "You've been looking for treasure for your whole life while living here. I don't want to be rude and take it from ya." Luffy exclaimed watching the man let out a low hum, then smiled brightly and began chuckling up at the boy. Then faced forward- shaking his head and sighing in content.

"I am sure- like you said- I made wonderful friends with the animals, and they mean more to me than some trinkets and gold. The best kind of treasure is those who live with you, who are our friends and family! Gold and money can easily be replaced...family and friends?" then smiled softly, "you can't replace what is important in your life."

Luffy smiled as he listened to Gaimon explaining how family and friends are richer than any treasures or gold you find in the sea. Having the black hair teen smiled even more, when he saw some monkey cats landing on the man's shoulders. Rubbing and purring against him, as he goes and pets their head. Luffy let out a low chuckle when that same monkey-cat hop onto his shoulders, purring and rubbing against Luffy's cheek. Making the teen giggle and scratch the monkey cat, then watched it hop off and run ahead. "Friends and family are richer than any treasure. I will definitely take that into heart." Luffy said and then the two smiled widely, when they heard the animal's excitement and began running towards them! When they got closer and closer to the animal's cries, bashing by bushes and branches and tree trunks. Their sight was blinded by the dim sunlight through the eye of the storm. Making the two squint their eyes for a while, then blinking them open and letting out low whistles at the sight before them.

Across a large and open ravine that is possibly two hundred feet high and split apart, to the raging and rough waters down below where protruding stone pikes and pillars can be seen below the chasm. Stared ahead and saw there were decrypted looking ruins, with nature covering most of it and moss- plant and shrubbery covered the entire ruins. The entrance is right before them with an ominous yet adventurous welcoming to adventurers. "OOOH! That is quite the ruins! I betcha that is where the treasure might be!" Luffy exclaimed and laughed.

"My word, I didn't know this was even here?" Gaimon stated in awe and surprise. "You friends did an amazing job!": he called out to the animals. Getting them to smile and bashfully kick the grounds, or flicking off some hair. Gaimon laughed and faced forward and hummed curiously. "Now the question is…how do we get over there? I don't see any way of crossing?" Gaimon stated and crossed his arms. "No doubt there will be traps too." He added and then turn to his right and blinked his eyes, seeing Luffy wasn't next to him. "Eh? Luffy?" Then began looking around and turned completely around, spotting the teen had begun stretching out his arms with his right hand grabbing tightly onto the large tree bark. "EH!? L-L-Luffy?! How…are"

"Gum–gum!" Luffy began saying with a wide grin on his face. Having Gaimon stared dubiously at him for a second. "ROCKET!" then let out a frightful yell when Luffy began blasting up towards the skies, letting out a loud 'thwip' of his arms, sending his entire body across the large ravine and open hole. "YAHOO!" cheered Luffy, who is just having a time of his life, flying across the open ravine without a care in the world. Having quite the fun and happy smile on his face, to even then bring his thumb up into his mouth and blew heavily into it! Inflating himself into a large human sized balloon and gently beginning floating downwards, then letting out all the air when he is a few feet from the ground and lands perfectly on the other side. Then threw his arms into the air, "YEAH! That was fun!" Then turns around and gives a thumbs up to Gaimon. "No traps here Gaimon, they might have rotted away if there were any outside!"

Gaimon just stares, even more and had a sweat drop sliding down the side of his cheek. Before shaking his head and boasting in laughter, "Luffy! You are one crazy person ya know!" He shouted in delight and did not insult the teen. Who just smiled even wider at the statement. "You go-" before Gaimon could say anything, he looked down between the chest his is currently fused with and saw Luffy's hands grabbing onto them. Then let out a loud whoa, when he felt himself being lifted off the grassy ground and got brought over to the other side of the ravine and next to Luffy. Making the man blink and then chuckle, "Oh well never mind."

"Are you kidding? No way I will leave you behind. Not after you help me out and such. I want to help Bellemere too!" Smiled the teen and thumbs to himself. "Like you said- friends and family are richer than treasure!" Luffy then wrapped his arms behind his neck, tilting sideways. "And we're good friends after all! You've been searching for the treasure and now's your chance right?"

"Luffy…" Gaimon began sniffling and feeling emotions running high, being so moved by this young boy…NO~ this young pirate's heart wanting to keep the dream going for Gaimon and finally seeing the treasure he has been searching for his entire life. And now it is possible thanks to Luffy, "YOU are right!" He then began rapidly rubbing the tears away and the snot bubble that began forming. Then pump his arms. "And for you helping me, Luffy, you can have all the treasure!"

This had Luffy widening his eyes and was about to retort. But then stops and then flashes towards Gaimon's tale of how he befriended the animals here, to even protect them and keeping them safe from poachers- other pirates or those who come to the island. "Friends are richer than any treasure. Even though I came here looking for treasure, I made friends with the animals here and I couldn't be happier than anything! Not even the treasurer or gold will change my mind." This had Luffy chuckling and smiling down at the man. Who returned the smile and winks while giving a thumbs up. "Bellemere needs it right? And they are fishmen right? Then, this treasure if it exists. Should be enough to pay off the man Arlong."

"Heh, Thanks Gaimon…I would like you to have some but. Seems like your mind's made up." Luffy said and then grinned when the man laughed and nodded his head. "Right! Let's go and see if it is in the ruins." Luffy threw his arm up into the air with Gaimon doing the same. The teen then looks towards the animals. "OY! We will be right back guys, just hang tight okay!" He called to them to which they responded back with their own cries, watching Luffy and Gaimon turning away and began entering the ruins.

Once they were inside the vast ruins, the two could see it had seen better days. Let alone the earth and mother nature, has definitely claimed this place for its own. The structures were rotting away, cracking and falling apart. The ceiling is completely gone and had sunlight beaming through the openings and holes of what's left of the ceiling. The twists and turns of the ruins didn't fair at all. Showing signs that people or pirates had come here, way before Gaimon visited the place. Having the two pirates humming and carefully walking through the halls and broken stairways. "Hmm, looks like people have come here before I have." Gaimon stated.

"Yeah, some of these are manmade destructions. Or looked to be messed with." Luffy added while placing a hand on some moss. Then brushing it and then jumping back when the wall collapsed and fell apart. "Yikes, we should definitely be careful." He turned to Gaimon with a worried expression. Gaimon nodded in agreement and stuck close to Luffy as the two managed to find a large chamber area. Having the two standing near the entrance hall that leads to the chamber. Luffy and Gaimon stared at the sheer size of the room, that Luffy went ahead and grabs a stone pebble on the floor by bending down and standing back up- he then tosses it forward into the large room, hearing it click and clack against the ground…waiting for anything suspicious to click or start rumbling.

When nothing happened after a few minutes of waiting, the two of them began stepping forward carefully and closed their eyes waiting for any hidden traps or switches to activate. Then sighed and smiled at each other, seeing nothing was happening and they were in the clear! They went ahead and entered the chamber room- looking around with their eyes and letting out small whistles here and there- taking note of the decaying ruins and how distraught everything seems to be. Luffy and Gaimon stopped at the center of the ruins, with both men humming and crossing their arms. "Let's see, most of the doors are destroyed, some being buried by rubble and some are blocked off." Luffy commented.

"Yeah, and if we mess with them it will have the entire ruins fall on us. Which will be no good for me- you probably be safe being rubber-man and all." Gaimon laughed, getting Luffy to laugh as well while scratching his nose lightly.

"Much I can survive it- it doesn't mean suffocation can still kill me."" Luffy quickly corrected. He's not invincible by all means. Being rubber makes it possible to survive ALL physical damages or boulders and such- but suffocation and anything sharp or poisonous can still kill him, even starvation and thirst. Yes, he's a rubber-man, but it does not make him invincible.

"I got to remember that." Gaimon chuckled while looking around the west side, with Luffy looking around the east side- both men trying to find anything that looked out of place or something hidden that will lead them to the treasure. But something seems to be weird or out of place, besides the moss and grass covering everything. "Hm, nothing seems or screams out it will lead to the treasure?"

Luffy agreed silently as he began stepping forward and walking about. "Yeah, the only thing I could possibly think is that the treasure might-" then let out a low huh and felt everything below him to suddenly crumble and fall apart- opening a large trap door or hidden passage beneath him. That he began looking down and let out a loud yell! Causing Gaimon to jump out of his skin and whipping around to see what happened! Only to see Luffy had disappeared!

"Luffy! Luffy!" Gaimon shouted and began running towards the center of the chamber. Sliding to a stop when he took notice of five fingers of a left hand grabbing the edges of an open hole, followed by Luffy spinning up and back onto ground. Panting and breathing heavily from the surprise of his life, with Gaimon placing a hand on his back rubbing it. "Luffy my gosh, don't scare me like that! What happened?"

Luffy after breathing and regaining his sentence, smiled at the man and thanked him. "I'm good thanks Gaimon, as for what happened?" He then stood upright and turned around, facing the hole that suddenly opened beneath him humming. "I don't know why? But this opened up on me, the moss was covering it. Granted, I didn't see anything bad or sharp spikes down there. But still…a normal person would get badly injured." Luffy explained, getting Gaimon to walk over and look down too. Both men stared for a while, seeing there was in fact another room down below. But nothing seems out of the ordinary…until the sunlight above them shined through the slight damp and darkness of the room below, that the two raised confused eyebrows when they saw something sparkle?

"You don't think?" Luffy looked at Gaimon as he stared back.

"Could it be underneath us?" Gaimon finished Luffy's sentence and then both stared back down at the room. To which Luffy quickly began grabbing something in his pocket, causing Gaimon to look at the boy asking, "What are you doing?"

"A trick an old friend had shown me." Then grabs a compass from his pocket. "My friend Shanks told me that light reflects from any surface. Showed me with his compass on the glass side, to use it to shine a beam of light at something or use the sunlight like a flashlight. So, what I am curious about is…" He then moved his hand out, having the sunlight hit the compass glass surface, to then begin seeing a smaller beam of light shooting out from the glass. Began trailing it and moving it around the bottom floor, watching it glide across all surfaces until it hit another opening, followed by a golden glow being reflected off. "I don't believe it!" Luffy suddenly exclaimed with excitement.

Before Gaimon could even ask what, it was, he felt Luffy wrapping his free arm around him, then quickly put the compass away and jumped down! Making sure to latch onto the edge of the floor they leaped off from, stretching his arm far it can go. Giving them safe passage down to the room below, letting go of Gaimon who hopped onto the floor followed by Luffy. Then the teen quickly rushes over to the small open hole the golden light seemed to reflect out from. Luffy places his body against it and peeks through the small hole, with one eye and gasps!

"What? What did you…Luffy!?" Gaimon began saying and then jumped back when Luffy got into position on the wall and threw both arms backwards! "LUFFY! DON'T!" Gaimon shouted and quickly hid himself inside his treasure chest body, praying the floors above them don't crumble or collapse on top of them from what Luffy is about to do!

"Gum-gum pistol!" Luffy shouted and threw both his hands forward and smashed them against the wall! Followed by the wall crumbling and crashing down around Luffy! Creating a massive dust cloud to cover the entire room he and Gaimon were in! Blinding them in nothing but dust and smog. Cracks and clacks of the debris hit everywhere, even bouncing off from Gaimon's chest body. Alerting him to come out from within it, to then fully come out, coughing and choking from the smoke- but also relieved to know the floor above them didn't collapse at all! Once he fanned the smoke away and began blinking his eyes, to clear his vision. He was then awestruck at the sight before him and approached next to Luffy.

Who too was in awe and had the widest smile on his face as golden light hit against their bodies and shone brightly through the dark. The two men continued to stare and then look at one another, eyes smiling and getting laughter out of them as the scenery went to where the animal friends were, who all turned and shifted their heads and bodies towards the ruins where all they heard was. "WE FOUND IT!

Back with Bellemere and Kuina, who after getting her revenge on the ex-marine and feeling up and groping the woman's incredible body, the two ladies could be seen packing up and placing things away onto the ship. Both slightly blushing and a bit frazzled by what happened when they went swimming and diving in the waters slash beaches around them. They had gotten their bikinis caught and ripped off, while exploring the waters beneath them. Leaving them topless and bare- followed by even having their bikini panties getting torn off as well from the reefs nearby.

And other things happened too with some octopus and some weird…looking creatures under the water, being frisky and having fun with the girls' bodies. Kuina lost her cool and nearly went on a rampage against the animals- which succeeded in scaring them away and leaving the two women alone. But it felt weird on Kuina's end, as she didn't understand what the sensations she felt were going through her body. She tried asking Bellemere after the two got their bikini outfits back and were on the beach naked and nude- had Bellemere froze completely from the question, to then quickly shake her thoughts out of it and quickly stated to Kuina, that she will tell her another time. Making Kuina to huff lightly and pout lightly, but figure to let it go.

Now that they were cleaning up and putting things away and putting on their clothes again. The swordswoman stared out of the ship's bow, being a bit concerned and worried for Luffy. Considering the boy hasn't come back yet or showing signs if he was in trouble or not. Even though she can trust her captain. He can be a little aloof at times, let alone very adventure seeker or danger seeker when he doesn't mean too- yeah, she only traveled with him for a couple of days. But for unknown reasons, she feels as if they've known one another for a very long time. "Luffy…"

Bellemere, who came out from the inside of the ship's cabin, hummed and saw Kuina standing at the bow of the ship. This had the woman humming and leaning to the right, seeing where she's looking and couldn't help but laugh to herself. "Only a few days and the girl is already showing signs for Luffy. Yeah, she will fight it and say it is just her being worried about her captain, but no doubt Luffy had stolen her heart in some way if what they told me is true." Bellemere chuckled, while waving her hands about to dry them off from washing the dishes and silverware inside. Preparing a meal for the two children.

Though she too couldn't help being worried for Luffy as well. The teen has been gone for a long time and it is almost nearing evening, he hasn't even fired off the flash gun to let them know he is in trouble or not. She began approaching Kuina, who continued as she can see the young woman's eyes of how much they're really worried for Luffy, and even showing signs that she is gonna pummel him too. Which had Bellemere to slightly smiled exasperatedly, thinking she may have read her wrong. Though widened her eyes, which Kuina did too, and both turned towards the woods! Seeing the flash gun firing into the air and letting out a loud boom! Indicating Luffy might be in trouble- however and what Bellemere taught Luffy before they reached here.

If he aimed the flash gun in a certain direction, IE Northwest? It signifies that he is okay and heading back, south direction indicating he needs help, eastward he had discovered something, westward he is lost and needs directions. However- he fired off in the northeastern direction! Indicating he's coming back but also discovering something, alerting the girls greatly as they ran closer to the front of the ship and let out loud gasps of excitement when they saw the boy literally swinging across the tree branches like a monkey! "LUFFY!" they both exclaimed.

Kuina, being the first to leap off the ship, lands on the grassy ground, and begins rushing her way over to the boy. Getting Bellemere to laugh at the swordswoman's antics, as she goes running down the bridge and turns immediately towards the two when getting off. Both girls paused and widened their eyes, when they saw Luffy leaping into the air from his next swing and carrying what seems to be a very large sack? "Kuina, Bellemere you won't believe what I found!" Luffy shouted while zooming through the air and began descending downwards towards the two women.

Who took a couple steps back and watched the boy landing on the ground. Hearing what sounded like clacking of metallic? Then watching the boy standing upright, having a shit eating grin on his face. Making the two look a bit confused, then widening their eyes when he threw the sack over his shoulder, "Bellemere will this be enough to save both Name and your island?" he exclaimed, raising warning flags from Bellemere wondering what he meant? Then nearly felt her world going dark and felt her heart rising through her chest, when he slammed the bag down and revealed, "Cause, I found the legendary treasures of treasure island!" Exclaimed the boy.

"L-Luffy!? Holy shit, how…when, where?" Kuina was at a loss for words, seeing the treasure spilling out from the bag. Crowns, jewels pickaxed inside some hats, statues and even lamps. Canes, scepters, even gold and silver watches. Gold coins and copper, doubloons…you name it! It was all here! "Luffy, this…wow." Kuina couldn't believe it!? The legends of treasure island were thought to be that legends and yet…Luffy, her captain! Found it, possibly the entire treasure!

"Well, it's not all of it, considering I can't carry them all." Luffy chuckled out and placed his hands around his neck, then softening his eyes as he watches the adoptive mother trembling and slowly moving closer to the bag, disbelief in her eyes…to then began sniffling and quivering her mouth as tears began forming around her eyes. "But I figured this should be enough to paying off that Arlong guy you spoke about. Who has your home and daughter." Though before Luffy could finished his sentence, he let out a grunt and felt himself being lifted off from his feet along with Bellemere.

Then falling to the ground with the woman, who is holding him tightly and pushing her face deeply into his chest, causing his straw hat to fall behind him. Luffy blinked his eyes and stares down at her and then gently wrapped his arms around her, smiling when she began hiccupping, "It…it…thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you…thank you, thank you, thank you!" Bellemere bellowed out in pure happiness and sadness, but also in relief as she just kept rubbing and pressing her face deeply into his chest. Sobbing and crying on the teenager, making Kuina to place a hand over her own mouth and tried fighting back the tears herself as Bellemere's emotions could be seen, could be felt from the two as Luffy expression is of seriousness but also caring as he hugged the mother and just let her let it all out.

"Thank you…thank you, thank you, thank you…thank you" is all Bellemere could say. Who couldn't fathom those two pirates- ones who had taken her home, took her daughter away from her. But two random children or teenage pirates, who she ran into and welcomed their help with the buggy pirates- saving the people on that island from his terror. To have a journey with her and help her, no. SAVE her from the nightmares that have been plaguing her for years on end, sending her on islands to islands, bounty after bounty, trying to gather and save up much money and treasures she could- to pay off Arlong and his Fishmen pirate! Too freeing her daughter, too freeing her home.

One week- that all it took traveling with Kuina and Luffy- one week and the two young pirates have gone and did the impossible…possible. "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" Bellemere continued saying over and over, getting louder and louder as she just finally let it all out and began wailing and crying on Luffy. Who just smiled and laughed as he patted and rubbed Bellemere's back as he just replied back.

"You don't need to thank me at all."

After calming down and asking everything that Luffy went through, the boy was adamant about being silent. Considering he had promised his friends he wouldn't reveal them to his right-hand woman Kuina and Bellemere of their presence here. But told them that he just happened to find a ruin around the area, and within it had the treasures he found within. Course this had Kuina be suspicious about this, and Luffy being a horrible liar too- caught something at the corner of her eye and turned towards the forest. Spotting what seem or looked like a creature, who quickly hid themselves from her eyesight. Then seeing the animals at the woods- that didn't look normal at all , but saw they seemed to be teary eyed and weeping from Bellemere from earlier. This had Kuina smiling at them now realizing what or why her captain was keeping them a secret and faced back at the teenager.

Then felt a small blush forming across her face, as he laughed and did motions of his so-called adventure in the jungle. Having the now calm and happy Bellemere laughing and smiling, truly smiling now- not one of fake or pretending, but absolute smile on her face. As she continues still wiping away the tears from her eyes. Still thanking Luffy and even Kuina, for everything and had told them that she will place the treasure inside the cabin. While telling the two that she had made a huge feast! Causing Luffy to throw his arm up into the air, shouting, "ALRIGHT MEAT MEAT MEAT!

Getting Kuina to laugh and shake her head as she began walking towards the kitchen area of the cabin or the mess hall as it's called. Silently raising a hand up to her right breast and gently grabbing it, her face reddening more as she felt that sensation again…but not like what happens underwater- a different kind of sensation, a heat she believes it to be? But wasn't sure exactly what it meant or why it was- she even caught herself passing by a mirror. Making her stare at her reflection and see that her face is even red! Making her to ponder and stare for a bit more, to then quickly shook her head and decided to dismiss, figuring it was because of the too much fun she had messing with Bellemere and her body.

Luffy soon entered right behind her but paused midway through the doorway. Then turns around, holding onto his straw hat and smiling brightly at the island. Spotting Gaimon and his animal friends staring back and waving goodbye to him, to which Luffy eyes smiled and waves back, then turns back around and heads inside! Wondering what kind of adventures his pirate crew will have next as their next destination is one hour away and will be arriving at Syrup village soon.

As well, another member will be joining Luffy once they arrive there, unaware of the dangers they will be getting into as another adventure awaits them!
