Chapter 6: To Anger ... Or What?!
"GRANDMA! Why do we have to go prepare Viking Independence Day? Can't Darla, Xuron and Roxanne do it?" said an annoyed Vicortin. "Unfortunately, Darla is starting to set the stage for the annual talent show, Xuron is with Victoria to get sound equipment and Roxanne is welcoming... certain newbies to the family. That's why I had to come to you." "And Aleena?" asked Vicortin. "She is more than available to help you. I certainly hope this doesn't turn into a twin war like last time, Vicortin." said Uni sternly. Vicortin sheepishly laughed. Last time Aleena and himself made anything together, they would end up turning wherever they are into the worst battlefield. Vic sighed... Off to find ...or should I restate...FIGHT Aleena, He thought.
(Scene change)
(In a pod to DeWandia)
"I can't believe that grandma Uni made us do the hard stuff. WHY?" whined Aleena as she drove the pod. "Since Snotlout and Angalope have this meeting in Readlanda (another world, don't ask, the less it makes sense the better it is), they can't hold the annual Vikings Independence Day. But since the royal family and the royal court really wants to host it they asked grandma for volunteers to help them, which is why we were the only available ones to assist, so think of this as a vacation to just have fun while doing work." "Nuh-uh. Work is your thing, not mine. Plus I really don't like what I heard about the two daughters of Uni and Snotlout: Alicia and Elina...Eluna,...I forgot her name but...I have a bad feeling about the 2." said Aleena "Yeah, right." said Vicortin
(The pod lands on the platform and Mario, Peach, Sonic, Tails and Amy await)
When they landed, they already can see Princess Peach, Master Mario, Master Sonic, Lady Amy and Master Tails waiting (I hate to interrupt but since Snotlout saw the potential in some of them and notice they don't have official tittles, he gave them the title of Master or Lady). "It is a great honor to finally meet the grandchildren of Unoki." said Peach while shaking both the twin's hands. "Unoki?" a puzzled Aleena asked. "I mean Uni and Loki. Unoki" "Gotcha." "You two can start helping the princesses get ready by helping to set up the banquet, set up the stage for entertainment, dragons that must be feed before racing and we will see what else you can do." said Tails. "You said it great, Tails!" said Sonic "I was practicing this speech." "Soooooo, where are the princesses?" asked Vicortin "I will lead you to them while Amy leads Aleena to help prepare the food." said Mario "Yesss! I will teach you everything I know." Amy said as she dragged Aleena out of there. She has no idea that Aleena is a time bomb in the kitchen. Thought Vicortin
(A little while later...)
"This will be the stage where we will be getting anyone to sing, mostly little Mike. And here is the garden of the daughter of Snotlout and Uni, Alicia. And mama mia, there she is!" said Mario to Vicortin. In the field were two girls. One of the girls had a red shirt top with a black skirt and brown boots with a headbandanda abound her head and black hair. The second girl had dark brown hair, with a teal top and a black/red skirt and brown short leggings and a headbandana and dark brown boots. "So you two pretty ladies must be the princesses! I'm Prince Vicortin of Casa Andrewson Bests." "I'm the eldest daughter of House Jorgenson, Alicia and this is my younger sister Eliza." said Alicia firmly. He could immediately tell that Alicia was more diplomatic than her sister. "I came to help with anything you command, since this is your festival, although I don't cook. You should really check on my twin..." he was cut off by Eliza "TWIN?! Aleena is much more paler than you and different color eyes and hair. You both look like cousins than siblings, no offence." "None taken." "You could start helping Eliza organize the tables to be more... Viking style. More dragon banners and more seating, trust me. Lots of DeWandians come from around to celebrate this magnificent festival." said Alicia. Vicortin started hustling the tables over to the two. "These wooden tables kind of represent your culture, right?" "Yes. My dad used to say that they would eat on a wooden table." said Eliza. "Well, I guess it's my cue to leave. Master Mario, could you please follow me. I have a few errands to tackle." said Alicia. "On my way!" said Mario and both left the 2 to the table decorating.
(A little while later...)
"Flowers, check. More lining, check. Organized in a way my dad would say Oi, oi, oi!, check!" said Eliza. Vicortin was very impressed with Eliza at her organization skills. He knew for a fact that she inherited them from Uni herself since Snotlout Jorgenson was not known to be very organized himself. "You do a lot of organization , I see." "Not much, I usually like a neat area as to opposed my dad's messes. Man, I wonder why my mom ever dated him in the first place." "Looks?" wondered Vicortin. "Pretty much. In the end, it was worth it... not saying that I made a mistake!" Vicortin felt flattered. Eliza blabbers nonsense when she is with just anyone, as he sees. Don't you dare try to ask her out! This is a professional workspace, and to add the fact she is the daughter of the king, huge no no. Though Vicortin. Just then, a little boy came running towards Eliza and Vicortin. He wore an orange shirt and dark brown pants and dart brown boots. He also wore a Jorgenson Clan helmet, to represent his heritage. "Liza, Liza! A big bad dinosaur is causing fire to appear everywhere!" he said. "Bowser! What is he up to?!" said Eliza. "Let's go help your family!" said Vicortin. "Hold up. (To Mike) Stay here and make everything as viking-like as possible. Also make a song, I heard your singing voice just the other night before." she said. "On it, Michael "Mike" Jorgenson! Jorgenson! Oi, oi, oi!" Mike chanted and ran off to find wild flowers. "Last time i sent the brain-head for flowers, he ended up bringing poison ivy and all the guests had rashes for days!" said Eliza "Now time for Bowser to get a lot of anti-itching cream, cause he will need a bucket after this battle. Come on princess!" said Vicortin as he and Eliza left.
(A little while later, in the entrance of DeWandia)
"BUAH HA HA! You pathetic fool are no match for the new King himself!" shouted Bowser in full glory. Mario, Peach, Sonic, Amy, Tails, Alicia, and Aleena were trying their best to defeat the castle. Aleena then uses her magical piccolo. Bestowed with the powers her mother, Victoria has on her recorder, she was able to hyptonise half of the Koopas's army. "Don't let the princess play that!" shouted Bowser to his minions. As soon as he stated that, a Shy Guy grabbed the piccolo from the Andrewdottier's hands. Sonic was the one to notice it and took matters into his own hands. He used his signature spin to knock the Shy Guy and dropped the piccolo. "Sonic! BEHIND YOU!" shouted Peach. Too late. thought Bowser, as a Goomba snuck behind Sonic, and catching him off balance, went running with the piccolo. But when everyone was trying to grab the piccolo, Bowser was informed of Eliza and Vicortin coming this way to help battle off the koopa king's army. "Shy Guys! Made a distraction. That Andrewson Best has another powerful weapon. Retrieve it and the kingdom will surely be ours for the taking!" Everyone gasped! "We need to reach the two NOW!" said Amy. But there were hundreds of koopas, goombas, shy guys and other assorted creatures, how will they reach them on time
(Meanwhile... With Eliza and Vicortin)
"And then that's when I realize Agot loves Aleena. I was clearly heartbroken, but what else can I do, split them? No." said Vicortin. "That is the most tragic love story to date, not much when compared to mine. I was in love with Snotlout's precessor, Princess Daisy, and yes I'm lesbian so get over it." said Eliza. "No worries. I'm gay. Continue." "Well, as I was saying, I was in love with Daisy until Luigi showed up and basically confessed right off the bat. I was heartbroken for weeks until I had to eventually move on. If you love someone, you learn to let them go." "I don't think letting Daisy go was a good idea, and you clearly don't look shy, and trust me, Luigi is much more shyer when it comes to anything personal." "So now two lonely individuals, heartbroken and alone (sighs)" said Eliza as she walks up to the fork in the road. "Sometimes, life doesn't come out as planned, like no one planned Daisy and Luigi or Aleena and Agot to be together, but life has it's surprises." said Vicortin. Eliza smiled. Then a Shy Guy appeared out of nowhere. "Hey little guy, you lost?" said Vicortin. "Don't. Touch. Him." said Eliza. "Why not? He obviously is inoffensive." said Vicortin. "Vic, Shy Guys work for...HEY HE TOOK YOUR TRUMPET OUT OF YOUR POCKET!" said Eliza angerly. Vicortin turned and saw that the Shy Guy left with the magical instrument. "Why would he want my trumpet...(In sudden realization) oh no." He ran as fast as he could, Eliza following right behind him.
(Castle of DeWandia)
The 2 reached the castle, only to find Bowser in possession of both trumpet and piccolo. He also captured everyone and put them into cages. "You won't get away with this, you mad koopa king!" said Alicia. "Really, then I would suggest a truce: Either you or Princess Peach marry me so I could consider freeing you all or watch as the whole kingdom falls!" said Bowser. Alicia knew that she would be the one to marry Bowser since she would rather see Mario and Peach be happy together that herself. "I will, but leave my family out of this!" said Alicia sternly. Amy then said "Alicia, no. Don't marry Bowser!" "She's right! That guy clearly won't respect you!" said Tails. "I will for the sake of my kingdom and for Peach. (Turns to Bowser) I, Alicia Freya Jorgenson, accept your hand in marriage, under the condition of not harm my family. Agreed?" "Agreed. (Grabs Alicia) Now It's time for the wedding of the century!" he said as he leaves with everyone as hostages. Vicortin and Eliza were upset, knowing there was absolutely nothing they can do to save their friends.
(With Eliza and Vicortin)
"HOW DARE YOU LET MY FAMILY GET CAPTURED! A SHY GUY IS A BAD GUY!" DON'T YOU KNOW THE HISTORY OF MY LAND!" yelled Eliza. "For the record, I thought he was just one of those little harmless creature, Miss Viking, and no, I don't need to know!" spatted Vicortin back. Eliza felt offended. "Take. THAT. BACK!" "I won't. Cause I'm the Best! The Best !" said Vicortin. "Gpo be the best somewhere else, bratty kid, cause your presence makes me want to hurl. So get your presence away from MINE!" said Eliza and stomped away. Vicortin kicked a branch "Me? A bratty kid? Never. She thinks that just because I'm a Best means I have to be bossy! Sheez. Al thought I did get carried away... maybe I should apologize." Vicortin said to himself. He then realized something. Power ups! We could use those to free everyone. Game on, Vic! He then ran toward the direction of where Eliza ran to.
(With Eliza)
"Eliza! Eliza! I found a way to defeat Bowser, and If we hurry, we can free your sister's marriage off!" said a rushing Vicortin. But Eliza had her hand down. Upset and full of tears. "Why bother. My dad and stepmom will come back and probably kill me out of existence for not trying to stop the ruling of Bowser! I renounce my kingdom officially." said Eliza. Vicortin sighed "I may not be the best pep-talker, but a princess is brave, smart and willing to do anything to save those she loves, and... and your all the above. Come on, your dad wouldn't have let you and Alicia in charge fro a reason, he did because you know what to do, the correct way." said Vicortin. Eliza beamed with pride. "Thanks, Vikky." Then, out of the blue, she kissed Vicortin on the lips. Vicortin was caught by surprise but deepened the kiss. After a minute they let go for air. "I guess I could say I fell for the princess, Liza." he winked. "Come on, there's a party to crash!" said Eliza. "Wait... I got a plan." smirked Vicortin
(At the castle)
"Here he, here he. We gather today to celebrate the awful marriage alliance ..." started Sonic. "Beautiful, young brat! Continue!" said Bowser. "As I was stating, this beautiful marriage alliance between Princess Alicia Freya of House Jorgenson and King Bowser of the Koopa Kingdom. Anyone who ..." said Sonic as he was interrupted by a "Meeeee!" Then Eliza and Vicortin busted thru the doors. "You will not marry my sister. You will not threaten DeWandia and YOU WILL NOT RULE MY KINGDOM!" shouted Eliza while grabbing a power up from her pocket (Honestly I have no Idea how she got one in the first place) and transformed into Ice Eliza. Vicortin grabbed one from Eliza and transformed into Fire Vicortin and both started to battle against the terrible koopa army.
(In the battle)
"I'm glad I interfered, Licia. I don't think he would make a good brother-in-law, truth told." "I don't think I could live with him 24/7, to add to the matter." said Alicia as she grabbed a nearby power-up to transform into Cat Alicia. "Come on, we got a kingdom to save.
"Hey, leeny. Need a hand?" smirked Vicortin. "I totally had this situation under control. Well, maybe not all of it but still!" said Aleena. "He freed Aleena and the rest of the characters from their cages. "Time to bash some turtles!" said Sonic. "Lets-a-go!" said Mario as the team all fought their best against the koopa king. Mario, Peach and Aleena powered up while Sonic used his speed, Amy her hammer and Tails his genius inventions. But even that couldn't stop the koopa king. Then Bowser manages to choke hold both Eliza and Vicortin. "Vic! NO!" screamed Aleena. "You two just couldn't just stay hidden. Because honestly, that is where you belong." said Bowser. "Now what will you do?" Just then a pod came and started to shoot nets and captured Bowser in one single shot. "Jorgensons, Jorgensons, oi, oi, oi!" said King DeWandi aka Snotlout Jorgenson himself. "Who said we didn't do anything." said Vicortin.
(Flashback)
"I got a plan" smirked Vicortin. "We just need your father and mother to come. Since they and the Mario Bros are known to defeat the koopa king, also I'm pretty sure they will be betting on that they would want to protect the kingdom, no matter if there is a meeting or not." continued Vicortin as he holds Eliza's hands. "I think with these power up, and freeing the rest should enable us a few spare minutes before Bowser eventually kills us all and rules DeWandia with either Peach or Alicia."
(Flashback ends)
"See, and as Princess of the House Jorgenson, I hereby proclaim Bowser to Isle of the Banished. Ummm, who will take him, dad?" asked Eliza. "I will let my beautiful queen escort him. Right, Angie?" flirted Snotlout to Angalope. "Boyyyy, you could do so much better than that, but thank you, so I will reward you, my king, later tonight." flirted Angalope Jorgenson Dark Star. "Ewwwww, dad, Angalope." said Alicia. Everyone laughed. "I guess the Viking Independence ceremony will be pushed back a few weeks after the talent show." said Eliza. "You bet! Now everyone, start cleaning up and we will figure out what to do from here." said Snotlout as he, Angalope and Alicia left with Bowser and his army.
(With the rest)
"That was amazing! Never had Bumpslandians use power ups before!" said Amy. "I would say this is my first time witnessing this. I can't wait to tell Daisy all about this after she return." said Peach. "Same, but with Luigi after he comes back from E. Gadd's" said Mario. Sonic then stated "So I believe there is something going on between you two." Vicortin turns red while Eliza paused. "AWWWWWW! Vic got a girlfriend! I am so relieved." said Aleena "Relieved that you can date Agot in peace." spilled Vicortin. "Wait ... YOU KNEW!? HOW?!" "I was hiding behind the rock and saw you kissing Agot and decided to let go. And yes, I'll promise not to tell, and not even Roxanne." said Vicortin as he pulls out a piccolo from his pocket. Aleena smiles and grabs it and both to a little handshake. Eliza then tells Vicortin "I finally found peace, thanks to you, Vikky." "No prob." and Vicortin Kisses her as everyone cheers for Eliza and Vicortin. Then Mike comes running "I found plants. Thou I have no idea what kind they are?" he said as he hands them to Sonic. Oh boy. Thought Vicortin.
(Somewhere else)
"How is the second sister?" said Time. "Terrible, and why not send Snappy, he's the bigger idiot here!" said Slappy. "Cause he can actually blend in and not blow our cover. Plus you do want Darla as your future queen, right?" asked Time. Slappy grinned
