Bony Boy goes to JJK World

Hello there, Author here. I don't have much to say, but it's kind of important. I'm beginning to feel fatigued from this story. Yeah. Not like I'm gonna quit or anything, but I feel like it's becoming a bit too big for its own sake. We're around 110k words and from the looks of things we might get close to 200k if I keep going at this pace.

I know myself rather well and this feeling can only mean two things, either I'll cut some stuff from the story and wrap up or I'll take a break to do something else and that would probably make anyone lose interest in the fanfic, me included. I haven't decided which one, but I'll let you know by the end of the week.

Also, my ADHD brain is already cooking a hundred different things, and for some reason, I'm getting into game dev as a hobby. Like I don't have a huge backlog full of projects, hobbies, and other things to do, I'm now reading about fucking tiles sets, sprites, and whatever. Damn... I need some discipline in my life XD.

Back to the point, I want to end the story before this month ends which would leave me with around 14 chapters. I hope you guys don't get too upset with this news, but I know that's for the best and hey, 14 chapters is still around 40k words for me so there's still a lot for you to enjoy reading.

Anyway, thanks for reading, and for your patience and understanding. Enjoy the chapter.

Team Hana

They slowly made their way to the guardian's room while avoiding the waves of cursed energy from Yuta's and Yuki's fight. While both Hana and Reggie could easily repel the aftershock of the special grade fight, Daizo was extremely vulnerable to them which forced the team to take a huge detour.

"We take a left here, go past a room, and then we take a right, after that we just keep going straight for another minute or so then we're out of this layer. " Reggie said in a tired and defeated tone.

Daizo stopped walking and placed his hand on a nearby wall to support him. He then covered his mouth and started coughing blood once more. This was just after the poison started spreading in the second layer, but without cursed energy to block it, Daizo was one of the first to feel its effect even though he was far from the source.

Hana quickly went to him and placed her cursed energy around Daizo. "What happened, Daizo? " Reggie asked after he heard his teammate coughing. He turned around and saw Hana using her cursed technique to cancel out the poison effect from Daizo.

"It seems like he's poison, but how? " Hana asked as she quickly noticed the power from a cursed technique inside Daizo's body. She used her cursed technique to break down the cursed energy and clear Daizo's body of the poison and then started examining their surroundings.

After it clicked in Reggie's mind, he also started looking around. Searching for an enemy that could have been responsible for the attack, but even though Reggie and Hana were looking for the hostile presence, neither of them could find it. 'It's obvious that no one is around here, but us... in that case this would be a long-range cursed technique. If that's true, how did they infect Daizo with it? ' Reggie asked himself as he grabbed Daizo and helped him walk forward.

'Why is it affecting Daizo and why only use it now? A technique this powerful should be used as soon as possible meaning that for some reason they couldn't use it before... ' Hana thought as something didn't click in her mind.

"I'm fine. Let's go. " Daizo said while pushing Reggie away. He took a few seconds to fix his breathing and posture before walking as if nothing happened. "Is it just me or does the air smell a little funny? " Daizo said while trying to distract his teammate from looking down on him.

Daizo knew that this was not a situation where he could show weakness of any kind. While it is true that Reggie and Hana were part of his team, there is no way to predict how other jujutsu sorcerers would behave if they think you are beneath them in any way or even, god forbid, a liability in their plan. Should Daizo not be able to even walk, there was a possibility that he would be left there to die.

"The air? Smells like dust and mold. " *sniff *sniff "Some blood too, but that's all. " Reggie said as he continued walking forward.

Reggie quickly turned to Daizo who was trying his best to not show that he was not feeling great. 'His senses are sharper than mine or even Angel's. If he feels something strange is in the air then that could be linked to the enemy's cursed technique. ' Reggie thought as he pulled a receipt from his clothing and after ripping it, he got a hazard mask.

Hana watched as Reggie placed his cursed energy on the mask turning it into a very weak cursed tool before offering it to Daizo who had a very hard time accepting the gift. "Reggie is right, Daizo. " Hana said which made both of her teammates stop arguing with each other.

"Since you don't have cursed energy and are a lot more sensitive than us, there is a good chance that the smell you are referring to is a by-product of cursed energy. It's not a bad idea for you to have some protection. " Hana said which made Daizo stop to confront her.

"You two can use cursed energy, right? I'll use that shit if you detect the enemy, how about that? " Daizo said while turning his back to both Hana and Reggie. "Besides, if I used that, I wouldn't be able to feel the people hiding in that room over there. "

Reggie was the first one to turn his head to the corridor where Daizo was pointing to. Both he and Daizo saw a huge dog run outside the room and then run toward the group. "Enemy attack! " Reggie and Daizo screamed.

They both ran toward the dog. Daizo was the fastest to react in that situation and even though he could not see the dog, he was able to reach it. 'Whatever this is it feels strange. I can feel bloodlust coming from it. This must be a shikigami and if a shikigami just came out of the room that means...' Daizo immediately held back his attack and started running to the room.

"The jujutsu sorcerer must be in there! " Daizo screamed as he entered the room ready to kill whoever was in there.

"Don't put your guard down. " Reggie said as he noticed the shikigami turning to attack Daizo before he could enter the room, but thanks to Reggie's warning, the dog quickly stopped targeting Daizo and moved to fight the ones who were still outside.

Daizo entered the room and immediately targeted the first person he could see, Megumi. "Now let's- arghhh! " Daizo was attacked with a cursed energy wave that pushed him to the side. He glanced to the origin of the attack where he saw an old man with a guitar in his hand.

'So that's the one who just pushed me. He doesn't look like the one who is controlling the shikigami. ' Daizo said while looking at Gakuganji. He quickly spun in mid-air and used his sword to stop his momentum right before he slammed against the wall.

Daizo glanced again at Megumi, who was about to jump over a table. 'This one wants to fight me a close range. Is he, not the shikigami user either?! ' Daizo though. If neither of them was the one controlling the dog, that left the third person, Nobara, who was hiding behind the table waiting for an opening.

Reggie pulled a receipt and manifested a very sturdy bite sleeve on his right arm which was immediately useful to block the bite from Megumi's shikigami. The amount of cursed energy plus the fact that it was an invention created for that purpose allowed Reggie to block the main attack.

The claws, however, were a different story. Reggie was about to get his face ripped apart by the sharp cursed energy-reenforced claws, but before Divine Dog could complete the attack, Hana moved closer and touched the creature.

[Technique Nullification]

Divine Dog quickly turned back into shadows and disappeared. Both Reggie and Hana looked at each other before they ran inside the room.

Gakuganji played the guitar as fast as he could and released his next attack, but this time, Daizo was more than ready. Without even looking at the old man, Daizo moved his sword with such precision and speed that everyone in the room could no longer underestimate him. 'He's like Maki?! ' Megumi thought as the cursed energy wave was cut into four different sections.

Daizo didn't need to dodge the attack. He simply continued to look at where Nobara was hiding while the cursed energy missed his body by a few centimeters. "Don't be shy. You're the shikigami user, right? " Daizo said as he scratched his beard.

'Divine Dog was destroyed?! ' Megumi as he felt Divini Dog disappearing. He quickly placed his hands together and tried manifesting the shikigami. After a few moments, the dog emerged from the shadows, and a sense of relief washed over Megumi's face.

Megumi quickly turned to the door where he imagined that the other curse users were about to appear. "They're coming in, Nobara! " Megumi said right as they both got close to the trap.

[Straw Doll Technique: Hairpin]

Nobara said while snapping her fingers. The nails she had placed around the door frame exploded, but unlike what they had planned, Hana didn't stop at all. 'Damn it. They're just gonna plow through it. ' Megumi thought as he saw Hana jump inside the room.

[Divine Dog: Totality]

Megumi's shikigami jumped to protect him, but once Hana touched it. The dog disappeared again.

"Fushiguro... Megumi! " Hana screamed with a girly soft voice as she grabbed Megumi and started hugging him. Nobara immediately moved away from her hiding stop and tried to attack.

"So you're not the shikigami user after all. " Nobara heard Daizo speaking with a disappointed voice. He quickly covered the distance between him and her and placed his sword right beside her head. "Please don't tell me you were hiding because you are weak. " Daizo said as the muscles of his arms tensed up and his sword started moving toward her neck.

Gakuganji tried to intercept the attack, but when Reggie walked into the room, he was blocked off. Nobara tried to duck under the blade, but as soon as she started to move away from the sword, Daizo corrected the cut in a way that she would still get slashed in between the first and second vertebrae of her neck.

"Nobara! " Megumi said as he tried to move Hana away. He quickly gave up on that and tried to summon his shikigami again, but there wasn't enough time.

When the blade was moments away from Nobara's head, Hana herself let go of Megumi and turned around. She quickly placed her hand in front of the sword which made Daizo stop right away and said, "Megumi doesn't want you to harm his teammates. "

"What? " Reggie asked her. He had a chainsaw ready to go, but now that his own teammate was helping the other side he had to stop too. 'She knows them?! ' Reggie thought as that was the only explanation he could come up with.

"Right, Megumi? " Hana asked Megumi while trying to hide her bashful face from the way she had just hugged him. She walked to the side while holding on to Daizo's blade leaving Nobara speechless.

Megumi, on the other hand, immediately grabbed Nobara and jumped backward. "Who are you?! " Megumi asked as he moved to the escape route that they had planned.

'They are too much for us to take down. Even that swordsman alone, without using cursed energy, could kill everyone here. ' Megumi thought as both he and Nobara were just a few meters from their escape route.

Daizo turned his face to Hana before pulling his blade from her hand. "What is this about? He doesn't even look like he knows you. " Daizo said as he debated in his mind whether to just rush them or not.

"He just doesn't remember me. That's all. " Hana replied with her own tone and mannerisms. This was the first time that her team heard her speak without using Angel's tone.

"... so... they're not enemies? " Reggie asked. Both he and Gakuganji were still staring at each other, but neither of them showed any aggression ever since Hana protected Nobara.

"Why don't you tell me, young man? I have no idea what's going on." Gakuganji said as he cracked his neck. After quickly glancing at Megumi who just shrugged back, he was extremely confused.

Kamo and Todo's pov

They both made their way to the guardian's room to block anyone trying to move to the third layer, but as soon as they turned the final corner they caught a glimpse of something entering the room.

"Todo! " Kamo said as he quickly started running ahead of his teammate to stop whoever entered the room. Todo also understood the situation and was able to keep up right behind Kamo as they entered the room.

"That was fast. You guys are the first ones then? " Veth said as he prepared for the fight. Todo and Kamo glanced at each other before they slowly started flanking their enemy.

'That amount of cursed energy... is this the guardian?! No. The guardian is already dead. Megumi confirmed it. ' Kamo thought as he compared himself and Todo to the Veth.

"Four arms?! Really?! " Todo asked as he took a better look at the special curse in front of him.

Veth underwent a transformation of sorts while he was getting to the guardian's room. With his cursed technique being able to grant him more powerful and plentiful cursed energy the more violent people were combined with the fights that were taking place all over the floor, Veth broke his limit and became a special grade curse.

His appearance changed a bit and now he sported four arms. His muscles also became significantly bigger giving him an even more human-like silhouette. Excluding the extra pair of arms of course. And his face was now completely gone. He had a mask-like smooth structure with no features or bumps.

'He looks strong, but we can take him. ' Kamo thought as he quickly glanced at Todo who simply nodded. They both understood what they had to do and without saying anything else, they released their cursed energy.

After both of his opponents finally clad themselves in cursed energy, it was Veth's turn. The shockwave that they felt right after Veth engulfed his body in cursed energy forced Kamo to take a step forward right after grabbing an arrow and his bow.

Todo quickly noted that and took a step forward himself so that they stayed in their positions. 'Kamo is being a little impatient. That's a bad move... ' Todo thought as he realized he might have to use his cursed technique at any moment.

'Interesting... instead of taking a step back, he walked forward. Am I that weak to him or is he that strong? Let's find out. ' Veth thought as he finally entered his fighting stance.

He had his right elbow and hand at a 90º degree angle to the floor while his left arm was down with his elbow creating a 45º degree angle with his shoulder. It was very similar to a conventional boxing stance but with the left down in a hitman style.

The other set of arms was doing a completely different thing. Veth had them both out with the palms opened and facing forward. He took a small step forward with his right leg while looking at Kamo before he made his move.

Veth started running to Kamo with all he had. Kamo quickly read the left hook and shot an arrow to Veth's face right before dodging the attack. The curse used one of its arms to grab the arrow mid-air and another to grab Kamo's bow, but that last one didn't work.

Kamo pulled back right away leaving Veth grabbing air. 'He's not that weak, but the attack is slow. Not a threat. ' Veth thought as he immediately turned his back to Kamo and focused on the other jujutsu sorcerer.

Todo was right behind Veth when the curse started turning to him and was able to deliver a powerful punch to the back of its head.

Veth felt a sudden pain coming from his head which prompted him to do a spinning attack. 'He's closer and stronger than I thought. ' Veth thought as he finished his 180º spin.

'What a lousy attack. ' Todo thought as he quickly ducked under the attack and grabbed Playful Cloud from his belt. Todo didn't have the time to unfold the weapon completely and decided to just wack Veth before getting away, but...

Veth quickly used one of his arms to grab Todo's forearm before the weapon connected and then he used its other two arms to attack the jujutsu sorcerer. 'He's not so tough tree face, but his raw power is on another level. I can't pull my arm back. ' Todo thought as he saw two punches coming from the side.

Todo underestimated Veth's power. Ever since he's been fighting special-grade curses, he never once encountered one that much stronger than he was. Todo now had to choose which attack to block, a body hook or an overhead punch.

Kamo ran to the side and shot an arrow at one of Veth's arms. He aimed at the overhead punch leaving Todo to block the other one. 'Nice one, Kamo.' Todo thought as he used his free arm to block the hook.

The arrow pushed Veth's arm off course and the fist barely missed the target, Todo blocked the punch, but it was a lot more powerful than he expected. His feet left the ground and his body was suspended in the air for a moment before Veth decided on his next move. 'So that's why the arrows are so slow. He's prioritizing power. ' Veth thought as he pulled Todo to the side.

Veth's goal was to quickly dispatch Todo, since the attack from Todo was the damage he had endured and Kamo's arrows were too slow, he figured that Kamo was not much of a problem to him. Now that the arrow pierced all the way through his arm, he needed to reevaluate the situation. 'It's going to take a bit more than I expected.'

Todo quickly threw the weapon to his free arm and spun it around his hand. Playful Cloud almost hit Veth's head, but the curse was able to step back leaving an opening for Kamo's arrow.

The arrow found its way to his arm giving Todo the edge that he needed to break away. 'It's going to be harder than expected. ' Veth thought as he saw Todo spinning the weapon while Kamo tried to flank him.

"Alright then. You guys are actually a good challenge. I'll give you that. " Veth said as he turned his back to Todo and focused on Kamo. "But you are definitely weaker."

Kamo pulled out an arrow right after Veth finished his sentence. The curse's face cracked a bit and for one moment, the cracks formed the drawing of two eyes, a nose, and a mouth. Todo couldn't see it, but Kamo was now staring at a terrifying smile. "Let's do it. " Veth said with a deep voice full of bloodlust.
