"Tell me more, tell me more" Alice sing-sang annoyingly.
"Shush, Alice that's just weird, this isn't one of those movies you love." Edward huffed frustrated.
"Fine, but keep telling me!" Alice whined
"Well, just understand that our relationship didn't go out like the traditional way."
"Oh em gee. You guys were friends with benefits! Was it like that Justin Timberlake movie?"
"No Alice, but yes we started out like friends who liked to make out. It was senior year and we didn't want to complicate things, so we kept it between us, nobody else knew." Edward didn't mention that they also kept it a secret so they wouldn't set new rules in the house. Bella slept over all the time and managed to sneak into Edward's room without anyone noticing…
"I can't believe what you're saying! You actually broke the "Rose and Emmett" standard didn't you?" Alice judged everyone's relationship by the "Rose and Emmett" standard, which measured exactly how much time they had spent together in a relationship without killing each other and still loving each other anyway. So far, the only ones that had the superior rank where Carlisle and Esme.
"Yes and No; our relationship hasn't been like Rosalie and Emmett's. Not for a long shot." There was sadness in Edward's eyes, and his sister took one of his hands in hers and squeezed it in sign of her support.
