Chapter 48
"We had to face each other, though. You made us go to that stupid pool party Mike Newton was throwing the weekend before school started."
"Ooh yeah, I did try to play match-maker with them. Didn't work out apparently." Alice said with a faraway look.
"Of course not! As soon as I saw them talking I got insanely jealous! I couldn't stand it, so I kept track of him, trying to find a way of keeping him away from Bella. He made it pretty easy. An hour or so after we arrived, we were running out of beer so he went upstairs to get a few bottles of tequila he said he had hidden and I offered to help."
Edward smiled as the memories kept flooding his mind. He knew he'd have to do some editing because there was no way he could tell their story in just one night.
"Mike shrugged and said they weren't a lot and that I should look for them myself and take them down, since he had to take a piss. I said I'd do it and pretended to walk away, but as soon as he closed the door I locked him in."
Alice couldn't contain her laughter, she imagined with details everything Edward was telling her.
