Chapter 50

Alice took her brother's hand in hers and tried to soothe him. "Hey, you got the girl anyways, huh?"

Edward shook his head trying to clear it. Of course he'd gotten the girl. He chuckled then. "You should have seen it. It was like the moment went in slow motion, I was tired of Bella's avoidance and mad at this secret she seemed to have. So without thinking too much, I pulled her towards me and crashed my mouth against hers, claiming her as mine. I think I might have growled when I said she was mine."

"Ugh. Such a caveman move." Alice protested, but her small smile said that she was enjoying the story anyways.

"But you know her, sis. She fought me on it; she pushed me away and tried to slap me. I grabbed her hands and pulled her to me again; stealing one more kiss before I broke the most important rule Tanya had given me."

"What? Tanya gave you rules?!"

"More like advice, but that one was definitely a rule."

"So what was it?"

"Well, to quote her, she said: don't you dare to confess your undying love out of an impulse of the moment; you'll send her running for the hills."

"Well, did she? No. Don't answer that, we're talking about Bella, of course she did. And Oh My God! You told her you loved her? In Mike's probably smelly horrible room?" Alice didn't hold herself and smacked Edward on the side of his head. Hard.
