Chapter Ten. The Encounter with Deadite Pablo
Kelly pulled up to Ash's house, with Ryo, Rekino, Rowen, Sage, and Hana all in tow.
"Are you okay?" Hana asked as Kelly stepped out of the truck.
"Yeah, I'm peachy," Kelly answered sarcastically, "What do you think? Dalton has become a Deadite, and Pablo is missing!"
"Sorry," Hana apologized, "We are just trying to keep your spirits uplifted."
"We'll find Pablo," Ryo assured her, "that's a promise."
"Let's move in." Kelly said, holding the dagger in hand. She and the group entered Ash's house.
"Ash, Pablo is dick deep in trouble..." Kelly started to yell as she and the others entered the house. The group saw that there was no one in sight.
"Oh my God!" Hana exclaimed in shock as the group saw the chopped up bits of a dead body.
"Oh shit." Kelly muttered.
"I bet the rest of our group had a field day." Ryo muttered sarcastically.
"Glad that wasn't us dealing with that." Rekino quipped.
"Ash." Kelly called. No response. "Fuck."
"Kento, Cye!" Ryo called out. Again, no response.
"Amaya, Josephine!" Rekino called out. Once again, no response.
Suddenly, the group heard strange noises. Kelly armed herself with the Kandarian dagger.
"If you're a Deadite, I'm in no fucking mood." Kelly yelled out.
"She's not whistling dixie either." Rowen muttered.
"Best not to joke around here, dude." Kelly glanced at him.
Everyone was startled to see Brandy standing at the front door.
"Brandy." Kelly stated, startled.
"So, you must be Ash's daughter." Ryo added.
"I forgot my phone." Brandy told the group.
"But you're okay, right?" Rowen asked.
"Okay?" Brandy responded, frustrated, "Ash just sliced open some guy I thought was my grandfather with a chainsaw."
"The Deadite." Hana and Rekino both muttered.
"I'm so far from okay," Brandy stated, "I don't even know what okay is."
"Makes high school seem a lot less awful," Kelly replied, "am I right?"
"Okay," Kelly asked, "where's Ash?"
"And our friends that are with him?" Ryo added.
"I don't know," Brandy answered as she moved past the group, "and no offense, but I've had enough of my delusional old man and his muchachos."
"Eh?" Hana quipped at the last word the teen stated.
"I'm getting my shit and I'm getting out of here." Brandy announced.
"Hold up, Daria, okay?" Kelly called the teen, as she and the Ronin Group approached her, "bodies are dropping left and right, some of them friends of mine, and since this has something to do with you, we need you to stay close."
"It'll be fine," Ryo assured her, "it's been said that it gets worse before it gets better. Trust me, we've been there."
The group walked over to the truck.
"How do you even deal with him?" Brandy asked, "I mean, I don't really have a choice, because he's my father but you...you guys..."
"We're new to this since we came here from Toyama to protect Ash." Ryo said as he made glances towards himself, Sage, Rowen, Rekino and Hana. "You may want to ask Kelly. She knows more about Ash Williams, your dad, than we do."
"Ash may be a perverted drunk with racist tendencies..." Kelly started to say.
"Hold up, Ash is racist?" Sage asked.
"Not to Asians," Kelly assured him and the rest of the Ronin group, "it's to Hispanics in particular. He likes Asians, trust me."
She looked on as the group each sighed with relief before facing Brandy again, "The point is, he has his moments.

Ryo and Rekino both looked over at Kelly as she was giving Brandy some reassurance. Rekino sighed as she was wondering what the Ronin Warriors, and the Lady Ronin Guardians were getting into.
"Evil killed my parents too." she told the group.
"We're very sorry about your loss." Rekino told her, "Ryo and I know how you feel."
Ryo nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, well," Kelly replied, "I passed on that horror show a long time ago. Ash is probably at the hardware store, right?"
Suddenly, a motor car crashed into the truck.
"What the fuck was that?!" Hana exclaimed.
It was revealed to be Pablo, who had now become a Deadite.
"Holy shit!" Rekino exclaimed.
"Pablo!" Kelly added.
The Deadite Pablo grabbed Brandy by the collar.
"Brandy!" Hana gasped.
"Leave her alone!" Rekino added.
"You're up way past your bedtime!" the demonic Pablo told the helpless girl.
"Brandy, run!" Kelly yelled.
"I can't!" Brandy muffled.
"Hold on!" Rekino yelled as she and the rest of the Ronin group prepared for attack.
"Flare Up Now!"
Ryo's attack knocked Pablo off of Brandy, freeing her from his grasp.
"What the fuck are you doing?!" Kelly demanded.
"It could have been a lot worse!" Ryo replied. "Right now, we're using these attacks to stun, not to kill."
Pablo jumped in and bit Ryo in the leg, "So spicy and moist!"
Rekino's eyes staggered in anger as her brother fell to the ground, "Ryo!"
"Tornado Fire Flare!" Rekino launched her attack which caused Pablo to fall down to the ground again. The group looked as he stood up, pat the fire off him and left.
"Shit!" Rekino exclaimed, "He's heading towards where Mia and Twyla are!"
"We got to help them." Ryo groaned in pain as Sage and Rowen held him up.
"There's no time to waste," Rekino told the group, "let's move!"

Twyla sighed as she looked at Mia as she was looking out the window.
"Are you okay, sis?" she asked.
"I'm just concerned about the others," Mia said, "this Deadite threat seems to be intense."
"Saying that alone is an understatement," Twyla replied, "but hey, the Ronin Warriors, and your girls are strong. I am pretty sure they will be able to beat back this evil just like before while protect Ash Williams."
Suddenly, the two women screamed in horror as the Deadite Pablo stormed into the house.
"I got two lovely female candidates to join us!" the demonic Pablo declared.
"You won't touch Mia!" Twyla shouted before Pablo knocked her down to the ground.
Before he could make a move towards Mia, she found herself in her sub armor and the deadite Pablo fell backwards to the floor.
"What just happened?" Twyla asked as she stood back up.
"I think my sub armor appeared." Mia answered in surprise.
Moments later, the sisters looked in shock as Ryo entered the house injured, with Sage and Rowen supporting him and Rekino, Hana, Kelly and Brandy all in tow.
"What happened here?" Mia asked.
"That's what I want to know with you girls." Brandy replied.
"Pablo attacked you guys too?" Sage asked as he and Rowen placed Ryo on the couch.
"Yeah," Twyla answered, "but we're okay. Somehow Mia was able to get her sub armor on to protect her from this Deadite attacking her."
"I guess the baby knows how to bring in the armor when needed," Mia nodded, "What happened to Ryo?"
"He bit his leg," Rowen cringed, "through his armor and all."
"And I can gladly do it to the rest of you!" Pablo exclaimed as he got up, laughing a demonic laugh.
"That's fucking it!" Rekino exclaimed as she grabbed the Kandarian dagger from Kelly's hands, "No one threatens my family and gets away with it!"
She proceeded to stab Pablo with the dagger, which caused strange energy to leave his body before he fell backwards to the floor unconscious. Some of the girls screamed in response.
"What the fuck where you thinking?!" Kelly yelled at Rekino.
"You're welcome." Rekino replied, handing her the dagger back. Kelly jerked it from her hands, annoyed.
"Yeah, Kelly," Twyla calmly stated, "you should thank Rekino, not lecture her. She has bought us some time here."
Kelly sighed, frustrated.
"Ryo's injury is healed." Sage said as he finished healing his friend.
"What about Pablo?" Brandy asked, "Is he..."
"He's not Deadite anymore," Twyla answered, "if that's what you mean."
Hana checked for a pulse and sighed with relief moments later, "He's alive but unconscious."
"He will need the couch now." Ryo chuckled as he stood up from the couch.
"Good call." Twyla nodded in agreement as Sage and Rowen placed Pablo in the couch.
"What now?" Kelly asked.
"We wait." Twyla answered.
