Scene: Miss Bustier's classroom.
Mr. Damocles was addressing the class.
"You only have one day to work on your fashion piece, and it must be your own design. In ten hours your fittest presentation will be judged by none other than the great fashion designer Gabriel Agreste and Jezebel Danielles, the father and mother of our very own student Adrien Agreste and Jessica Danielles."
Nino playfully nudged Adrien. Jessica puffed out her chest with pride while Marilyn smiled at her.
Marilyn was a French-Danish caucasian girl with straight brown hair going down her shoulders. She had sparkling green eyes. She wore a green sweater dress with a rainbow ribbon tied around her waist. She had black tights and yellow hightops. She had a green bow headband.
"In fact, Adrien and Jessica will model the two winning designs in their next photoshoots. And now, to announce this year's theme: derby hats."
"Derby hats?" Marina asked aloud. Jessica smiled, having a fondness for that particular hat.
Scene: Collège Françoise Dupont.
"Derby hat, derby hat, derby hat, derby hat...!" Marina chanted, walking back and forth. "Why don't I have any derby hat designs? I lived in England for a time, y'think I would get an idea!"
Marina groaned "How can I become a great big superstar if I can't even come up with my own hat design?!"
The world around Marina disappears and it's replaced with a pseudo anime art style.
"What if I think I get a good idea, but then Mister Agreste and Aunt Jezebel shut down my idea completely!"
The visual starts with the pseudo anime Marina looking cocky with stars sparkling around her would be hat, but then the pseudo Gabriel and Jezebel frown at it, leaving psuedo Marina crushed and the stars fall down.
"Jessica will resent me because of my overconfidence and-" she drops her voice to a whisper, still upset "you know who will break up with me!"
Pseudo Jessica glares at Marina, and Pseudo Adrien is shown leaving Psuedo Marina in the rain.
Her voice goes back to her normal "My career will never get off the ground and I'll be one of those rich kids that only get connections because of their parents! MY LIFE IS RUINED!" At the last sentence, the visual breaks into pieces like glass.
Marilyn grabs her shoulder "It's going to be fine, Rina. Let me see your sketchpad, sweetie. There's gotta be something in there."
"Fine." Marina begrudgingly gave her sketchbook over to Marilyn. "Doubt you'll find anything."
Adrien decided that was the perfect time to come over.
"Wow, Rina." Marina flinched at the surprising noise of her boyfriend's voice.
"Those are some awesome designs. Of course, I shouldn't be surprised since they're yours." Adrien said, causing Rina to flush and Marilyn to giggle at the two secret lovers.
Marina lightly pushed Adrien away. "You flatterer."
"I wish I could just automatically give you the win. But knowing you, you'll win regardless. Hopefully, I'll be wearing your derby at father and Miss Danielles's next photoshoot." Adrien left.
"Things'll get better, I swear it! Now you've got me and Adrien on your side!" Marilyn encouraged.
"You're right, I should just look for inspiration elsewhere." Marina said, calming down.
Marilyn checked her phone "Only have nine hours until show time."
"Frick! I better get on with that inspiration! Au revoir!" Marina said, running out the door.
Scene: Hawk Moth's lair.
Hawk Moth talks to himself as his window opens.
"The time has come for us to find our next victim, my wicked little akumas. And to prey upon Ladybug and Chat Noir. Their Miraculouses must be mine!"
Scene: Trocadéro.
Marinette was also trying to get inspired and started drawing some designs.
"Geez, it's hard to be creative under pressure." Marinette said.
"Marinette, you save the world under pressure. I think designing a hat should be a piece of cake!" Tikki said.
"Hm, a cake derby hat. Stylish and tasty." They both chuckle at the idea.
Marinette keeps drawing new designs and ripping them out. However, she kept ripping them out of her sketchbook and crumbling them up. Soon, she had a small pile of crumbled ideas.
Marinette was getting tired but saw a strange sight: a man walking like a bird sits down on a bench ahead of her. He takes out a brown paper bag and blows a bird call. A cluster of pigeons approached the area. Marinette dodges one flying towards it.
"Well, happy day, happy day! Splendid is the afternoon day. Ah, Edgar, you fancy one. Fantastic, dazzling performance."
"Scram, you winged rats!" Roger Raincomprix said, making the pigeons fly away. "How many times do you need to be told, Mr. Ramier? No! FEEDING! The pigeons! It's strictly forbidden. If everyone feeds them, they'll leave their waste everywhere!"
"But, who's going to feed my poor pigeons?" Mr. Ramier asked.
"All the park keepers know about you, Mr. Ramier. You're banned from every park in Paris. Leave now or I'll call the authorities. Oh, wait. I'm the authorities. GET OUT!" Mr. Ramier walks away sadly.
"Sheesh, I almost feel sorry for that man." Marinette said pitifully.
"What a unique character! He was like, a human bird. All he needed was a feather jacket to complete the look." Tikki said.
"A feather jacket, hmm. Nice thinking, Tikki." Marinette started drawing again.
Scene: Seine.
Mr. Ramier sadly sits down on a bench.
"Poor Mr. Ramier." The scene switches to Hawk Moth's lair with the window opening" the feeling of injustice, such easy prey for my akuma." He takes a butterfly in his hand and converts it into an akuma. "Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize him!" The akuma flies to Mr. Ramier and infects his bird call.
"Mr. Pigeon, I'm Hawk Moth. Neither this police officer, nor any other of the park keepers, should stop you from taking care of your friends. What would Paris be without pigeons? What would pigeons be without you?"
Mr. Ramier chuckled evilly, and is transformed into Mr. Pigeon, who flaps his arms, makes pigeon noises, and runs off.
Scene: Botanical Garden.
Marina visited a botanical garden to get inspiration for her design. She remembered enough to know a common design for derby hats were flowers. She really didn't want to due to her allergy to pollen, but you have to be willing to die for your art. Nah! That's too risky, she took allergy medicine before she left.
She sketched a picture of a white hat with lavender flowers with a purple veil.
"Now that's a derby!" Lita commented, impressed.
Marina smiled, finally finding confidence in herself.
Scene: Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie.
Marinette was in her room, working on her hat.
When the hat is almost finished, Marinette seems to realize something is missing. She looks under her desk.
"What are you looking for?" Tikki asked.
"A feather! I forgot to pick up a pigeon feather for the hat! It has to have a feather!"
Marinette runs back to the Trocadéro. The pigeons scatter, thankfully one did drop some feathers.
"Yes!" Marinette cheered.
As she leaves, she accidentally runs into Roger.
"Uh, sorry mister officer, sir." She runs away from him. Roger stared at her before smiling and returning to his job.
As Roger walked away, a swarm of pigeons descended and attacked him.
Scene: Streets of Paris.
Marinette was on the bus, returning back home, but the bus wasn't moving.
"Come on! Can't we go any faster?" Marinette said impatiently, walking to the front of the bus.
"Sorry folks, we have a situation here." The bus and cars were being held up by a cluster of pigeons. "You'll need to get off the bus now."
Marinette started to get off the bus but was startled by more pigeons "Ah! Uh, this is weird."
Marinette got off the bus, she sees the streets littered with pigeons. She walks down the street and sees a bunch of people gathered near a screen.
"Pigeons have taken over Paris. This is just one of the many alarming situations giving authorities cause for major concern." Nadja touched her earpiece. "Yes, I've just been told that someone named "Mr. Pigeon" is making an announcement."
"Oh, dreary day, poor Parisians." He started to coo "Sorry to ruffle your feathers, but Paris now belongs to the pigeons! Flap flap!" He coos again.
Marinette runs down to a subway entrance to transform.
"Paris needs us!" Marinette transforms into Ladybug. "Tikki! Spots On!"
Scene: Outside of the Botanical Garden.
Marina walked outside the garden, ready to head home.
"Now that I have my inspiration, I can get home and start-" she paused as she saw the pigeons around the place.
Marina blinked a few times before ducking into a nearby alley way.
Once there, Lita flew out of her purse. "Okay, either pigeons are taking over the world or it's an akuma. Either way, you should transform."
Marina nodded "Lita! Let's bring the thunder."
Lita flies into Marina's choker and transforms into Light Cat.
Scene: Jessica's room.
Jessica was talking on the phone with Adrien.
"I hope these people have any ounce of taste." Jessica spat "I can't be wearing just anything."
"Come on, Jess. Have a little faith in our classmates." Adrien said.
"I'm just saying that just because we're models and we go to that school, doesn't mean we-" Jessica was cut off by seeing a swarm of pigeons pass by her window.
"Jess? Jessica, are you okay?" Adrien asked.
"I'm going to have to call you back, Adrien." Jessica said deadpan and she hang up on him.
Amethyst looked out the window "Oh dear, these akumas just keep getting more and more pelicular."
Jessica groaned "Just let me transform and get rid of this creature."
"Amethyst, let's make a connection!"
Amy flew into the gem on Jessica's headband and transformed her into Diamond Pixie.
Scene: Rooftops.
Ladybug was jumping from roof to roof looking for Mr. Pigeon.
Just then, Ladybug saw airplane shapes made out of pigeons flying through the sky.
"Now this is weirder than weird." Ladybug commented.
Light Cat suddenly zipped behind her "You're telling me."
"Birds of a feather, flock together." Chat Noir said on a ledge of the building, Diamond Pixie stood next to him.
Chat sneezed and fell down to where Light and Ladybug were "I'm allergic to feathers." He sneezed again.
Diamond couldn't help but think for a minute 'Allergic to feathers? That sounds like-no way! A feather allergy is rare but not too uncommon.'
"Uh, not to undermine your abilities, Chat. But maybe you shouldn't fight this battle, if that's the case?" Light Cat said concerned.
"No need to worry about me, Kitten. No pigeons will get Chat Noir down."
Chat almost sneezed, but managed to stop himself "These birds are only part of the problem. The park keepers in Paris are vanishing without a trace."
"What? We have to track down Mr. Pigeon ASAP." Ladybug said.
"But where are we gonna find him?" Marina asked.
"Hmm, I don't know where we can find him, but I do know where he can find us." Ladybug said.
Scene: Place des Vosges.
Chat Noir was wearing a park ranger cap and was pretending to be a park ranger, while the heroines hid behind a tree nearby.
Chat Noir started to whistle "La Marseillaise" and started to dance.
"Act natural or he'll never show up!" Ladybug whispered.
"Bugsy, that is him being natural." Diamond Pixie said smirking.
Light Cat wasn't listening to either, swinging her hips to her own beat.
A pigeon watched him and flew back to Mr. Pigeon.
"The Miraculous Quad? Job well done, buddy-boy. Pigeons will reign supreme! Power to the pigeons!" He jumped off his ledge, and the pigeons form a platform to carry him off.
Back in the park, the four were still waiting.
"Where is he? He should've been here by now." Diamond complained.
Pigeons start flying overhead, making Chat Noir sneezes. The pigeons formed a big ball and carried Chat away!
"What the-GET AWAY FROM HIM!" Light Cat took after the birds carrying her boyfriend.
Ladybug and Diamond Pixie ran after her.
Light Cat used her super speed to chase after the cursed birds, super jumping on to several buildings.
Ladybug threw her yoyo on a street lamp and propelled herself onto a building and started to jump onto more buildings in an attempt to catch up to her.
The pigeons reach the roof of the Le Grand Paris hotel and drop Chat Noir off. Chat sneezed once again. The trio finally made it to the roof.
Light Cat threw her arms around the goth kitty hero. "Oh thank goodness, you're okay!"
Chat smiled graciously before looking around.
"Where's that bird-brain Mr. Pigeon?" he asked.
"He's gotta be here somewhere..." Ladybug said.
Mr. Pigeon was being lifted by a swarm of pigeons behind them.
"If you want to give Paris back to the pigeons for good, you must first rid the city of those four pests."
Mr. Pigeon sounds his bird call and the pigeons start to circle around the four.
"Good lord..." Light Cat muttered, afraid.
"Yeah. Call me crazy, but I feel like bird seed all of a sudden." Ladybug said.
The pigeons form a shield to keep them in.
"Got any bright ideas, bugs?" Light Cat said.
"You're cats, don't you both eat these things for breakfast?" Ladybug said.
"I'll have you know I am a strictly chicken and turkey cat only." Light Cat retorted.
A gigantic cage is brought down over them, imprisoning them "Look!"
Mr. Pigeon floated above them by a bunch of pigeons.
"Chirpy day. I'm so ruthless." he chuckled.
"Excellent. Now take their Miraculous!"
"Your Miraculous. Give them to me or face the wrath of my feathered friends." Mr. Pigeon used his bird call and some pigeons start banging on the top of the cage, while others turn around and point their behinds at the Miraculous Quad, making them flinch in a mix of fear and disgust. "Dada-dee, on the count of three, my beloved pigeons will commence fire. You can still say you're sorry skins by handing me your Miraculous. One, two..."
"Chat Noir, the bars!" Diamond Pixie instructed.
"Cataclysm!"
Chat Noir used his Cataclysm to destroy the bars of the cage. Mr. Pigeon cowers back toward the edge of the rooftop while the foursome advance on him, twirling their weapons ready to attack.
"Well, well. Looks like the pigeon's really a chicken." Light Cat taunted.
Mr. Pigeon made more bird noises "Me? I'm not flying away. I'm just killing four birds with one stone."
He sounds his bird call and jumps over the edge of the roof. The four heroes run towards it. Some pigeons catch him in a sled, lift him back up and take him away.
"Merry Christmas!" he yelled.
"What?" Diamond Pixie said, confused by the sight.
A group of pigeons dove towards the Miraculous Quad, who ran inside and close the door behind them to stop the pigeons. A bulge forms in the door as pigeons slam into it.
Ladybug, Chat and Light fall over in exhaustion. Diamond Pixie stared at the huge dent in the door in horror "Persistent little cretins..."
"I'm not done with you yet!" Mr. Pigeon said from outside, riding the pigeons who were now shaped like a plane.
The Miraculous Quad started running downstairs. Chat Noir's ring alarm sounds. He only has four paw prints (minutes) left.
"I've gotta get out of here before my secret identity's revealed!" Chat said.
"Yeah, you wouldn't want to let the cat out of the bag." Ladybug joked.
"Ha ha, very funny." Chat said sarcastically.
Light rolled her eyes at the ladybug heroine while Diamond muttered "Leave the jokes to the cats, Bugsy."
The Miraculous Quad make it to the first floor and start to head out the building. On their way out they see a crowd gathered on the entrance.
"Ladybug, Cat Noir! I'm in great danger- of losing big bucks if my guests leave Paris! You are going to get rid of those pigeons, aren't you?" Andre said panicked.
Chat Noir's alarm sounds again, making him nervous.
"Of course we are, but before we do I have an urgent need." Chat said.
"An urgent need? I see, head to the royal suite. There's paper in there, but perhaps you would prefer... a litter tray?"
"Uh...? Oh right, no need for litter. But, um, could I have some Camembert?" Chat asked.
Mayor Bourgeois looks back at the remaining three. Diamond Pixie and Ladybug simply shrugged.
"It's his comfort food." Light Cat said gently.
Scene: Royal suite.
Chat Noir is being taken by Butler Jean.
"'Scuse me, sorry." He slams the door. "Emergency!" There's a knock on the door and Chat Noir opens it.
"How do you like your Camembert?" Jean asked.
"Runny!" Chat slammed the door again. There's another knock and he opens it again. Jean is holding a plate.
"Unpasteurized Camembert, matured for two years." Jean hands Cat Noir a silver plate.
"Thanks!"
He slams the door again. His transformation runs out and Chat Noir turns back into Adrien. Plagg spirals out of the ring and lands on the bed.
"Oh the exhaustion! My poor aching body, I can't move a muscle!"
"You wanna bet?" Adrien walks over to Plagg and he removes the cloche from the plate to reveal the Camembert.
Plagg gasped, suddenly filled of energy. He flew towards and started stroking the cheese "Ah, my gooeyness." He starts devouring the cheese.
"Eat up buddy. The girls need help."
Scene: Le Grand Paris Hotel.
Ladybug, Diamond Pixie and Light Cat step out of the elevator into a dining hall with large glass windows.
"Great, we can get a much better view from up here." Ladybug said.
They walked up to a window.
"That's weird." The lightning heroine commented. "The pigeons are flying in the same direction."
"Well, we better go follow them." Diamond Pixie said determined.
The elevator dings. Chat Noir is inside.
"Ready when you are, ladies."
The three entered.
"Let's go!" Ladybug said.
Scene: The Grand Palais.
The Miraculous Quad follow the pigeons to a building. They look inside and see a big cage full of park keepers.
"So that's where Mr. Pigeon's keeping the park keepers he abducted." Ladybug said.
"The Grand Palais." Chat starts to sneeze but Light Cat stops it. "My pigeon radar is on high alert."
"Either your radar is on the brink or Mr. Pigeon's left the park keepers unattended." Ladybug said.
"Well, let's set the cats among the pigeons." Light Cat said, readying to kick some pigeon tail.
"Hold on dearie." Diamond Pixie said, stopping her "It just seems too easy. Lucky for us, I've got a plan."
Diamond Pixie runs ahead, while the other three run after her.
A pigeon flies into the building.
"Perfect timing, hootie ho! We're ready to greet them, aren't we? They're going to fall right into my trap. It won't be long before you get your Miraculous, friend."
"I can't wait, my dear Pigeon."
Cut to the roof.
The Miraculous Quad are running up on the roof of the building.
"If we can destroy that bird call, we'll be able to capture the akuma." Diamond instructed "Okay, Chat'll open the window, me and Bugsy will grab him and yank him up onto the roof, then Light Cat will snag his bird call away from him."
"Yes ma'am!" Light Cat said.
"Let's go, early bird gets the worm!" Chat said.
He opens a skylight on the roof. However, a draft of feathers hits him and he sneezes, so when Ladybug throws her yo-yo, she misses Mr. Pigeon. This made the bird villain turns around.
"Oops." Diamond Pixie exclaimed, suddenly wishing she had asked Light to open the skylight instead.
Light Cat threw her head into her hands, fearing something like this would happen.
"So much for the element of surprise." Ladybug muttered, catching her yoyo.
They jump inside to next to Mr. Pigeon, who jumps back and lets the pigeons carry him. They chase Mr. Pigeon until he sounds his bird call, and the pigeons form two spheres where his hands are.
"Deedly-dee dee, come closer, I have a bone to peck with you."
"I'd be honored." Chat Noir said.
Diamond Pixie flew up to do her Psychic Connection. She put her hands together and the gem on her headband glowed.
She was shown a man (probably who Mr. Pigeon was in real life) getting yelled at by a park ranger, Ladybug gaining a coin, Chat popping open a bag with his staff and Light Cat performing a Kerauno on the bird call.
Meanwhile, Mr. Pigeon hits both Cat Noir, Light Cat and finally Ladybug back towards the cage.
"Get us out of here!" A park keeper yelled out.
"No!" Diamond Pixie yelled out, before getting knocked out the sky by some pigeons.
She fell to the ground, making everyone wince with sympathy.
"Diamond Pixie, are you alright?" Ladybug asked in concern.
"Don't worry about me! Just do your Lucky Charm." Diamond Pixie said, starting to pick herself back up.
Ladybug was still concerned but complied.
"Lucky Charm!" Ladybug's Lucky Charm superpower gave her a red and black polka dot coin "A coin? What am I supposed to do with this?" Ladybug's thinking vision shows her a beam, a vending machine and the coin.
"You can't buy yourself out of here!" Mr. Pigeon throws a sphere of pigeons at them.
Ladybug starts running towards him, slides, and uses her yo-yo to wrap around his left ankle. She jumps up to the beam and back down, making a pulley. She runs to the vending machine at the far end, uses the coin to get a bag of popcorn. "Cat Noir!"
Ladybug throws the bag in the air. Chat Noir threw his staff at it, which busting it open. Popcorn fell all over the floor and Mr. Pigeon. "Snack time, pigeons!"
The pigeons go after the popcorn landing on Mr. Pigeon. "No!"
Ladybug pulls on her yo-yo and lifts Mr. Pigeon up by the ankle. His bird call falls to the ground.
"My bird call! Nooo!"
"Light, strike em' down." Diamond Pixie called, already running over to join them.
Light nodded.
Ladybug ran to get the bird call. However she dropped Mr. Pigeon, who also ran for it.
"Kerauno!" Light Cat threw down a bolt, intending to strike Mr. Pigeon, however she accidently got the bird call instead, breaking it in two.
"Yes!" Diamond Pixie cheered.
"Oh! Not what I was trying to strike but still yay!" Light Cat cheered, happy she still managed to help.
Mr. Pigeon faints. The akuma flies out of the broken bird call.
"Bugger off, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!"
Diamond's eyes turned white and the gem on her headband glowed, beaming out a light. Somehow the akuma seemed attracted to the light. It flew towards it, but was stunned for a moment, the darkness left and it turned back into a white butterfly. Diamond Pixie's gem stopped glowing and her eyes returned to purple. The now pure white butterfly flew away.
"See ya little butterfly."
Ladybug threw up the coin, transforming it into a bunch of ladybugs. "Miraculous Ladybug!" The bird call is fixed and Roger is returned to the Trocadéro. Mr. Pigeon is converted back into Xavier Ramier.
(How did she get the coin back? Is it magic and it came down where the spare change comes out of a vending machine?)
"Huh? What happened? Where am I?" Mr. Ramier asked.
"Pound it!" The four cheer, putting their fist together.
(Cut to Hawk Moth's lair)
"Wretched pigeons, wretched Miraculous Quad. I'll destroy every one of you!" His window closes.
Scene: Marina's room.
Marina runs inside and sits herself at a desk with a sewing machine.
"Have less than an hour. Gotta get to work!" Marina gets to work on her hat.
Scene: Collège Françoise Dupont.
Everyone is getting ready to present their hats. Alya calls Marinette but she doesn't respond.
"Where is that girl?" Alya asks anxiously.
Jezebel and Nathalie arrive.
Jezebel was tall pale woman. Like her daughter, she had light blue eyes. However, she had lavender hair that was kept in a small ponytail. She wore a purple suit, a white shirt, and a purple tie. She had a black belt and dark purple boots.
"Hello there, I am Jezebel Danielles. Pleased to make your acquittance." Jezebel said politely.
"Hello, Mr. Damocles, I am Mr. Agreste's executive assistant Nathalie." Nathalie said.
"Hello. Pardon me, but where is Mr. Agreste?" Mr. Damocles asked. He got his answer when Nathalie held up a tablet.
"I'm here." Gabriel said from the tablet.
Jessica resisted the urge to roll her eyes, her mother did not the show the same courtesy.
"Ah, uh, hello Mr. Agreste. Welcome to our school."
"Adrien, take Nathalie around."
"Ah, there's Mr. Agreste! He's coming this way." Chloe said excitedly. Her and Sabrina stand professionally.
Mr. Damocles, Nathalie and Adrien go up to see Juleka and Rose's hat. "As you'll see, Mr. Agreste, our students have poured their hearts and souls into their projects."
Marinette rushes in and carries her box over to Alya. Marinette lets out a sigh of relief.
"Where have you been?! You got your hat?" Alya asked.
"Yep, here." She takes off the lid and Alya marveled at it.
The judges walk over to see Chloé and Sabrina's hat. It was a yellow striped derby hat with a big yellow ribbon and a yellow rose in the middle of said bow.
"Uh, hi Mr. Agreste. I'm Chloé Bourgeois. You know my father, André Bourgeois, the mayor?" Chloe asked.
Camera pan to Marilyn and Marina.
"Hey look, she actually tried." Marilyn joked, jabbing a thumb at Chloe.
"Marilyn." Marina said, though she was fighting a smile.
The judges reach Marinette's hat.
"Um, hi. I'm Marinette." She began the present her hat "My derby hat is completely handmade, from the embroidery to the woven band and the hand-stitched brim. I made it all by myself."
"This texture looks quite...unique." Jezebel said, raising an eyebrow.
"Oh yeah, you can say I got my inspiration from recent events." Marinette said.
"Hm. Thank you, Miss Marinette." They finally moved on to Marina and Marilyn.
"Hello, Mr. Agreste." Marina said to the tablet. "Miss Jeze- I mean- Miss Danielles."
Marinette frowned. Of course, she had an in with some of the judges.
Marina pulled off the lid to reveal a lavender hat with a purple flowers on it and was covered with a translucent fabric trail.
"It's beautiful." Jessica said.
"Thanks. I visited the botanical garden, saw beautiful violets and lavenders and immediately thought of Jessica." Marina demonstrated confidently.
Marina thought targeting Adrien would be either too obvious. So she decided the next best idea would be to go for the other model, and judging from her reaction, she made the right choice.
"Very exquisite creation. You definitely have the laboring hands of a hat maker, miss Vander-Storm." Jezebel said, a small smile on her face.
"Congratulations on all your demonstrations. The winners are Miss Marinette and Miss Marina." Gabriel said.
Marinette gasped and began bowing "Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
"Aw yeah!" Marina cheered, high-fiving Marilyn.
"Adrien will wear your derby and Jessica will wear Marina's derby on our next advertising campaign." Adrien puts his hands over Marina's on the hat.
"Awesome job, Marina." He complimented, looking into her amber eyes.
"Hehe thanks." Marina chuckled flustered.
The moment was unfortunately ruined by Marinette stepping in.
"Uh hey. Can we see you both actually wearing the hats?" Marinette asked anxiously.
"Oh sure." Adrien said.
Marina's eyes narrowed at the bluette but she otherwise gave her hat to Jessica.
Jessica took the hat and graciously put in on her head, she felt like betting on horses already.
Adrien started to put on Marinette's derby hat but he had begun to sneeze.
"A-achoo!" He wipes his nose with his hand. "Uh- sorry, I'm allergic to feathers." he sneezed again.
Marina stared at the scene, she had thought Marinette meant she had made a feather-like texture from some material, not that she had gotten actual feathers.
Marinette looked surprised as if connecting some dots, however she smiled "Gesundheit!"
Adrien sneezed again, waved and walked away "Thanks."
Alya and Marinette look at each other, smiling.
The end card shows Marinette jumping up with glee, the stand topping over. Alya smiled in support for her friend. Jessica was still wearing Marina's hat, staring at the duo with an eyebrow raised. Adrien is seen walking away miserably, still holding Marinette's allergy hat. Marina was sympathetically walking next to me, probably ready to take Adrien to a pharmacist and have him in contact with some allergy medicine. All this with Marinette's hat and some pigeons flying the background.
Okay, I finally have the third chapter out! Nothing on Light Cat, though Jess is starting to question Adrien probably being Chat Noir.
So we got too new OCs, Marilyn Dulce, I describe her as being a rambunctious slightly tomboyish (though don't call her a tomboy, she loves being feminine) friend of Marina and Chloe. She has her own friends hence why she only spends time with Marina in this chapter. However, the two are close family friends. She also holds a special miraculous, it'll be a while before I tell you what it is.
And Jezebel Danielles, Jessica mother. I would describe her as what Gabriel should be. She is a stone cold business women whose busy doing work to often be with her family, however she does love her children and would drop everything to be with them. Also while she would be hurt, if something would happen to her husband (which something will), she would ultimately move on or at least not allow her grief to hurt others. When Jess called her stone-hearted in The Bubbler, she meant as in how she is with other people, not her and Jem. Also she used to hold the psychic miraculous in her younger years before she had to step down and give it to Jess.
Light Cat's Kerauno strike works differently on objects than people. With people, it'll paralyze them. With objects, it completely obliterates them. Also unlike Chat who have a simple aim with his Cataclysm, Light Cat actually needs to aim at an akumatized villain. Expect her to have mishaps where she misses her target or destroys something/paralyzes someone else by accident just because she's distracted/interrupted, the targets moves too quickly, or simply have a bad aim that day. Also if she doesn't take out the villain using Kerauno, she will try to use it to destroy the akumatized object.
It's revealed here Marina lived in Britain for a time. She had to leave Paris due to her parents having work in Britain, they later moved to America for a time. That's why she's sounds a bit urban in her lines. Marina wishes to be a superstar (a.k.a a super singer) but she's taking fashion classes, so she can sew her own clothes. She is taking singing and dancing classes though.
