With Lapis and Velvet earlier
The two Faunus were still driving on Blue Moon. "Do you think they'll find anyone from our world, love?" Velvet asked.
"I highly doubt it was just the five of us who were pulled here. Someone or something went to a lot of trouble to transport us here from Remnant." Lapis said.
The two soon heard screaming a mile from their location and drove in that direction. They soon saw what looked like a collapsed tower and several other people and Grimm approaching fast.
"Switch Blood Blade to rifle mode, Bun-Bun. Use it while I use my newer toys." Lapis said then pressed a button near the right handlebar and small gun barrels appeared as Velvet did as she was told. "Now hold on!" He said then revved Blue Moon to full throttle and sped forward.
Mikasa Ackerman heard a loud noise getting closer and looked behind her. "What the hell?" She asked.
Her childhood friend, Eren Yaeger, looked at her. "What is it, Mikasa?" He asked as the two Faunus drove by Eren, using the debris as a ramp. Other fellow soldiers with Eren and Mikasa looked at the source of the noise and saw the Faunus drive toward the Grimm. Velvet fired the rifle at the monsters while Lapis used the turrets on his bike by pressing the same button he used to activate them.
Lapis soon circled back to Eren and his comrades. "Bun-Bun, I'm gonna howl soon to signal Coco. I'm dropping you off with those soldiers to protect them."
"Right!" Velvet said then switched Blood Blade back to its sword mode and placed it back on her boyfriend's back. Once close enough to Eren and company, Velvet jumped then bit her hand and transformed into a Capivara, a human sized rat like Grimm, with gold crystals as her armor then she stood in front of the soldiers. Lapis soon stopped the bike and followed her example, transforming into his Crystal Grimm then let out a loud howl.
"What are these things?! More Titans?!" Armin Arlert, friend of Eren and Mikasa, asked.
"I don't think so, Armin!" Eren said.
A few minutes later, a pair of loud roars and several screeches were heard and those who made up the Scout Regiment saw Lapis and Velvet's friends arrive. Ruby, Blake, and Yang jumped off of Weiss and transformed. Ember, Onyx, Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren, Fox Yatsuhashi, Carmine, Penny, Amethyst, and Team SLVR stood between the Grimm and the Scouts while those in Crystal Grimm form charged at the monsters and fought them, Velvet charging into battle with them.
"What are those things?!" Reiner Braun asked.
"They're Grimm!" Ember said.
"And those things fighting them?!" Armin asked.
"Crystal Grimm!" Onyx said. "And unlike the normal Grimm with the bony plating, the Crystal Grimm are on our side."
The Huntsmen and Huntresses fighting soon had the normal Grimm beaten then transformed back to normal. They then walked to the Scouts.
"I think introductions are in order here." Lapis said then the Huntsmen and Huntresses introduced themselves to the Scouts and vice versa.
Armin looked at all the Faunus present. "What are you guys?" He asked.
"We're Faunus, people who appear human, but we're easy to distinguish because of our animal traits. For example, my brother and I have wolf and cat ears respectively, Velvet has rabbit ears, Lycan has wolf teeth and Onyx has shark teeth, Magenta has raven wings, Ember has a cheetah's tail and Ilia can change color like a chameleon." Blake said.
"Anything in the animal kingdom can be a trait for a Faunus." Lapis said. "But Onyx is not a typical Faunus."
Onyx walked to Mikasa. "You're confused about all of this...but you're also curious about this." She said.
Mikasa stepped back. "How did you know that?" She asked, slightly worried.
"...I'm half Faunus...and half Grimm." The Huntress revealed and felt the panic from the Scouts surge. "But I'm not like those things! My adoptive father, Ozpin, has helped me learn to control my powers, same as my friends."
"Her Grimm abilities allow her to not only feel the emotions of others, but also communicate with the Grimm, and change into two different forms, a hybrid form, which is basically a shark Grimm with arms and legs, and the rare Selachi, a shark Grimm from the deep waters of Remnant." Ember said.
Eren saw Pyrrha translating what the Scouts and Huntsmen were saying and arched a brow.
Lapis noticed and looked at Eren. "Magenta's deaf. She can still talk, but she also uses sign language to communicate and we do that to translate for her what others are saying." He explained.
He nodded then Ruby cleared her throat. "Do you guys have a radio? Something we can use to try and get in contact with Remnant?" She asked.
The Scouts looked at little confused.
Ruby sighed. "Never mind." She said then she and her fellow Huntsmen and Huntresses walked a little ways away from the Scouts. "We need to find a way to reach home. These guys may not have a lot of tech we can use."
"While we were in the air, me and the girls noticed we're on an island." Carmine said.
"Then we may need to consider venturing beyond these shores." Lapis said.
"For now, we need to learn all we can about this world." Jaune said.
"Agreed." Simin said. "Let's stick around on this island and learn all we can before taking off for the outside world."
The Huntsmen and Huntresses all nodded then walked back to the Scouts.
"I think we all owe each other an explanation or two." Lapis said and Eren nodded in agreement.
