"Now," Crowley started. "Shall we start?"
"I have a better idea." I said. I pulled one of the daggers from my boot and swiped it across his face.
"You sneaky little bitch." Crowley growled. "I like that."
"You won't when I bury my knife into your chest."
"I'm sensing a bit of darkness seeping out."
Shit. This was not going according to plan.
"No answer?" He asked. "Never the less. I'm winning."
"Like hell you are."
"How do you plan on stopping me?"
"I have my ways." I spun the dagger between my fingers. "But, what I want to know, is why you need me. You have all of hell at your command, yet you still need my magic. Why is that. I'm sure with all the combined power of all your followers you would be at the same level as me. Maybe even stronger. So what is it? Why do you want me so bad?"
"You'd be correct saying I have all your power at my finger tips with all my men. But there is one difference. You are the daughter of Dean Winchester and that bloody angel. I break you and they lose you. I have them out of my way, and the only one I have to deal with is the Moose."
"So that's your plan. You don't need my magic. You could kill me now if you wanted to. But you want my magic to benefit you. You want to flaunt me in front of them like a toy."
"Precisely." Crowley smirked. "Killing you right now wouldn't be as much fun. I want to see them suffer." I felt my control slipping further and further. Every ounce of sanity I had left was failing.
No. I couldn't let him win. I had to fight it no matter what it took.
Then I realized, it was a game. All of it. One big trick. This is how he was going to break me down. He was playing mind games with me. And he was winning.
"Nothing to add? Quiet today, aren't we? Let's get this over with." I felt Harmony's magic come back and smirked.
"Oh, it will be over real soon." I said. I sent out a distress signal for Harmony to come find me.
The lights exploded above us. In the darkness I saw Harmony drop-kick Crowley. I heard gunshots and hit the ground. Feeling pieces from the broken lights bury themselves in my skin.
"Grace!" Daddy yelled. "Where are you?" I lit up the room and looked around me. Broken glass was stuck in my arms and legs and pain shot through my whole body.
What I was really focused on, was the demons who grabbed my parents. Knives were pressed against their throats.
"One wrong move." Crowley said. "And they die." He looked completely unharmed. Which was odd, considering the beating Harmony gave him. Where she went I have no idea.
"You wouldn't."
"Wouldn't I?" He snapped his fingers and one of his demons dug, what I finally noticed was an angel blade, in my fathers side.
"No!" I cried. I tried to run to him but another demon came from behind and grabbed me.
"No no." Crowley said. "That's not how this works."
"You're right." Harmony said, appearing literally out of no where. "It's not." I don't know what she did or how she did it, but the room filled with a searing white light, and when it cleared, Crowley fell limp to the ground.
Daddy took his chance and took out the demon holding him, and the one waiting to strike Dad again. I elbowed the one holding me and stabbed him with one of my daggers.
"Grace!" Daddy called. "Get over here." He was kneeling by Dad, who was in the floor, his face contorted in pain.
"Is he gonna be okay?" I asked.
"I don't know."
"I'll be alright." Dad choked.
"The wound is deep." Daddy said. "I don't know if you'll make it out of this one Babe."
"Call Gabriel. He'll be able to help."
"Grace, go call your uncle. Now." Daddy handed me his phone. I found the number and left Daddy alone with Dad.
"Hey Dean'o." Uncle Gabe said.
"It's Grace." I said. "I need your help."
"What's wrong?" Panic was clear in his voice.
"It's Dad. He's hurt bad. Daddy and I don't know what to do." Tears welled in my eyes.
"I'll be right there."
"But wait, I didn't tell you..." The line went dead.
"What happened?" Uncle Gabe asked, appearing in front of me.
"Crowley happened. One of his demons stabbed him with an angel blade." I almost started to cry. "We don't know if he'll make it or not."
"I'll take a look." He assured. He went over to my father and said something to my dad. Sending him over by me.
"I'll be able to heal him." Uncle Gabe said finally. "It will take a lot of grace, but I can do it. Grace, I'm going to need your help."
"What do I need to do?" I asked.
"I need some of your grace. It will help better then my own."
"I'll do it."
"Be careful." Daddy said.
"I know." I kneeled down next to my father. "You're gonna be okay Dad. I promise."
"Don't." He said.
"I have to. I can't let you die."
"I wouldn't do this if I were you." Harmony said. "I know you want to save him, but using an ounce of power could destroy you."
"I don't care." The tears I tried so hard to keep in began to fall. "I have to save him. He doesn't deserve to die. My dad doesn't deserve to lose him."
"You save him and they lose you." Harmony argued.
"At least they'll have each other. I don't have much longer until I break anyway. If he dies, my dad will lose both of us."
"Fine. Who am I to stop you." She looked pissed, but backed off none the less. I put my hand over the wound, warm blood seeping through my fingers. I pulled as much grace as I could and let it flow into him. I felt piece after piece of my control slipping away, but I kept going.
I started to feel weak and stopped the flow. Daddy was at my side instantly.
"That's all I can give for now." I said sadly.
"That's alright." Uncle Gabe said. "Look." I moved my hand from the wound and saw it closing. "I'll give him any more grace he needs to heal completely." I nodded and fell into Daddy's chest.
"You did good Sweetheart." He said, kissing my head. I couldn't slip any further, or else I'd fall completely.
"You saved him." Harmony said, slightly surprised. "And you didn't lose it."
"I almost did." I admitted. "There's
Not much left holding me back."
"Then you can't use any magic for a long time." She instructed. "You will gain back some resistance, but not for a while. And only if you stop using magic completely. No flying. No healing. No nothing. Do you understand?"
"I get it." I replied. Uncle Gabe finished replenishing Dad's grace and helped him up. I jumped from Daddy's arms and ran into his.
"I'm so happy you're okay." I said.
"You did good." He said. "I'm proud of you."
"Remember what I said." Harmony said. "No magic."
"I will." I promised.
"I'll be around every once in a while, but you have to rely on yourself to remember."
"I understand. Thank you for everything."
"No problem. Oh, before I go..." She cast another spell and Crowley's body disappeared. "He won't be an issue anymore. Later." She poofed off somewhere.
I started to feel tired and leaned into my father.
"Let's get you home." Dad said, picking me up like a child. I didn't protest, for using all of that grace darned me past the point of exhaustion. I fell asleep before we even left.
