Chapter 9

"That's was the dumbest thing you could have done you just gave her the bracelet without giving her any knowledge what it is and what it does?" Luna said perched on the meeting table, glaring directly at Kino-sama

"What else was I supposed to do?" Kino-sama responded with a huff arms crossed.

"Dragged her over here? She is dangerous with her powers without you around." Hino-sama came out of nowhere.

Shelia was sitting right next to her arms crossed smirking. "I wonder how strong she is…"

"Is that all you can think about Shelia-san?" Aya said leaning over the table looking directly at her.

"Prodigy Sanders and Prodigy Kuroama stop it both of you now." Artemis said out of nowhere the white cat hopping up and sitting down next to Luna glaring at the two prodigies.

Shelia and Aya both sunk in their chairs.

"She started it-OW!" Shelia said out of nowhere rubbing her nose which Hino-sama flicked.

A sigh escaped Luna and she shook her head looking back at Kino-sama. Aya noticed she had a very stern face towards the Jupiter warrior.

"Luna I understand how you feel, but this is unavoidable she cannot come here against her will she is already shaken up as it is…I understand how you, Artemis, my fellow senshi and their prodigies might feel about this, but I will take her against her will that's final." Kino-sama looked at Luna and Aya could see it no matter what Luna could say this was a seal to the deal.

"Oh really, chaos portals are opening up…"

Okay maybe that would do it…

"Chaos portals?" Aino-sama piped in, "They are starting up again?"

"Mmmm yes one just recently opened up and guess where?" Luna looked at Kino-sama. "Right behind your Prodigy's apartment."

Kino-sama suddenly got up from her chair, so fast the skid from it echoed across the large meeting table. Next thing Aya knew Kino-sama had her back turned and was walking fast, no running out the meeting room.

"Sailor Jupiter where do you think you are going? Sailor Jupiter? Makoto!" Luna yelled, but it fell on deaf ears as the two large barrel doors Kino-sama pushed open closed with swing closed, making a loud slamming sound that echoed.

Aya heard the chair push back next to her, as Ami-sensei stood up and looked at the doors then Luna.

"It's okay Luna I'll go talk to her, you are free the rest of the night Aya-chan." With those last words Ami-sensei left to chase down the determined Jupiter.

"Mmm Maybe we should go with Ami-chan and make sure…right Minako-chan?" Hino-sama said to Aino-sama who nodded lifting her chin from the table.

"Agreed I was getting sleepy anyways…" Aino-sama stood up and stretched a loud yawn escaping her lips.

"Rodric-chan you are free for the night as well." Aino turned to a tall, boy with dark curly wavy hair, who just grinned nodding. His deep gold hazel eyes gleaming.

"Same for you Shelia-chan…"

Hino-sama and Aino-sama on that note exited out as well.

Luna just stood there with Aretmis jaw dropped at the commotion she finally came to her senses and then yelled out. "Well I guess the meeting is over then! Gah! They still haven't changed even after all these years they are the same teenage bunch."

Artemis smiled and just nudged her purring lightly. "Hey hey it's okay, let's just go see the Queen and get her input."

Luna snorted, but then hopped off the table and trotted over to the door; the Sailor Union guard who was stationed outside opened the door for her as she walked off.

Artemis turned to the prodigies and smiled. "Enjoy the night off." He then hopped off and left out the doors. The Sailor Union Guard saluting him and then placed his pistol to his hip and followed the two walking cats down the hallway.

"Incredible this girl has caused such a stir she has to be strong." Shelia banged her fist on the table, standing up.

"Oh please Shelia what is it to you?" Aya stood up picking up her handle held black school PAD that shut off with unfinished quantum physic problems.

"A lot actually a portal has opened with this girl being awoken maybe we can finally put all of our training and powers to use!"

"Ha-ha ours? Lady's please only my powers as the leader of you two will surely dominate they will send me out." Rodric's condescending voice came out of nowhere.

"Oh shut up Rodric!" They said together, with Shelia smacking upside the back of his head. He winced and rubbed the injury.

"Besides the leader hasn't been chosen yet, it goes to the first who was truly awakened." Aya corrected.

"Wouldn't that be you Aya-san you are not leader material." Shelia pressed fire in her eyes.

"Yeah, but as the prodigy of Venus since she is leader of the sailor senshi warriors it is my destine place." Rodric smirked arms crossed. "You guys could use a male figure!" He boomed. "And a handsome one at that." He said mockingly tilting his head back running his fingers through his hair.

"You smug sexist prick! I'll smack the shit out of-"

"No you idiots!" Aya yelled at them both, "Fully awaken as take the place of the senshi and get the full benefits of their powers, none of us have that yet!" Gripping her PAD. "And Rodric-san stop being a stereotypical man, your sign is for love and femininity."

"I know Aya-chan I was only teasing" He said softly giving her a squeeze gently on her shoulder to assure her, his smugness gone.

Aya sighed, and shook him away. She knew he was just being sarcastic earlier, but still. "I have to go finish up my homework." With that she got up and pushed through the doors.

Walking down the hallway she heard a string of voices.

"Makoto-chan that was really hot-headed of you, you should have known better." It was her sensei's voice.

"I know it's just Luna I feel like went a little too far…" Kino-sama's voice entered.

"It was only because you were being so stubborn she had to push your buttons she does that with Rei-chan all the time!" Aino-sama voice giggled.

"Hey…" Hino-sama said out of nowhere towards Aino-sama probably.

"Anyways whatever got out, if anything did, it is not active or hurting anyone or we wouldn't be standing her Mako-chan." Ami-sensei assured her.

Aya tip toed, and peered from a corner to the east wing. To see, they grouped together.

Kino-sama was gripping the railing walkway, leaning her back against it. Ami-sensei was across from her back leaning against the other railing arms crossed. Aino-sama was leaning against window walls of the wing, sitting down one knee up holding it, next to Kino-sama. Hino-sama propped herself sitting on the railing gripping the handles legs swinging back and forth next to Ami-sensei both looking across to each other.

Outside the window, was easily above five hundred feet, outside the lower city buildings, glowed bluish greenish hue, with specks of pink. Some fireworks went off.

It really did look Like Crystals at night; Aya couldn't help, but think. Also she was shocked to see her sensei and the following leaders, teachers of them looking so casual relaxed like a group of friends…

"You think we should all go and check the portal out make sure nothing violent came through?" This was Hino-sama.

"No that would cause a commotion." Aino-sama said.

"How about just Makoto-chan goes with one of our prodigies we think is best suited for this situation?" Ami-sensei said looking at them all. "Could be a good source of real field training…"

"I don't feel a hundred percent comfortable with that…" Kino-sama entered.

"Okay then two?" Hino-sama interjected.

"That's not the point I was getting at…."

"Actually Makoto-chan; Sailor Jupiter. I agree with them you will be going to observe this portal with Prodigy Venus and Prodigy Mercury." Aino-sama said slowly standing up brushing herself off.

"But Minkao!" Kino-sama went to protest.

"Nope as the leader of this group I mean it and you are out voted!" Aino-sama said grinning. "Think of it as a punishment for not telling us till today your prodigy awoken. Without telling any of us you were going to see her."

Kino-sama looked around and even Ami-sensei nodded. "You didn't expect to just get off about all of this did you?" She said grinning.

Kino-sama deflated almost looking a teenager who got out voted on what movie to watch. "Fine fine let your prodigy's know we are leaving tomorrow noon."

They all nodded, and started to get ready to leave. Aya realized this and panicked. Moving from where she was spying on them to turn and keep walking when she smacked right dab into someone.

"Ow hey watch it!" A feminine voice entered.

Aya backed up ready to apologize she looked up and noticed a high up pink ponytail with heart bun tie up top. She was wearing a pair of synthetic black pants and colorful pink glittered shirt a pink pursed in her hand, a pink PAD in the other practically sparkling pink on its clear hologram inside.

The green flicked finger nails, switched, from glow green to hot pink as she went back to her 3D PAD keyboard that was out texting a message.

Suddenly a voice was heard down the hall. "Princess Moon! I was asked by your father for you to return to your quarters for the night immediately!"

Aya stood there shocked, as the girl turned to look at the Sailor Union guard chasing her down tilting her pink rimmed and green tilted visor shades down. "Shit!" She turned back to Aya who stood there shocked.

"Hey girl tell him I went that way." As she pointed at the wing Aya was just spying on the senshi. "Got it!"

Aya just nodded.

"Thanks Kid!" She then picked up her pair of lime green high heels and ran past Aya, turning down the hall to the west wing.

The Sailor Union guard came to her, his face red and hands on his knees panting. "Have…you…seen…Princess…Moon….." As he gasped, taking one more long one after finishing.

Aya just nodded.

"Okay…where…where…what way did she go?" He said recollecting his breathe looking up at her.

Should she lie, and say the way the girl told her?

"She went that way." A Voice said out of nowhere. Aya turned to see her sensei pointing. "She turned down the west wing when you got here, if you run now you will catch up to her before she catches a cab."

"Ohhh thank you Sailor Mecury!" He then ran past Aya to the west wing, skidding on his feet as he turned fully sprinting now down the wing.

"Spying is very childish you know."

Aya straighten up like a taunt bow and slowly turned her head a little bit to her left side to see Ami-sensei from the corner of her eye looking at her. Eyes narrowed and arms crossed.

Then she watched as her teacher broke into a smile and giggled. "So guess you finally met our princess and your future queen."

"That was her?" She said able to sputter and relax herself taking a long sigh realizing she wasn't in trouble anymore.

Ami-sensei nodded. "Yes …Yes it was she wasn't like this when she was younger when I saw her as a teenager, but growing up during her actual birth till now is an odd experience."

"Wait what?" Aya said confused with her teacher's ramble.

"Oh sorry, sorry I was going off again ha-ha!" Her sensei, blushed looking embarrassed. Gathering herself she then put a hand on Aya's shoulder gently. "Did you hear our entire conversation?"

Aya wondered at first if she should even tell the truth, she ended up nodding.

"Well then you know about the mission?"

Aya nodded again.

"Do you think you are ready to do this field mission, it is just observation? Observe and report, but an attack could happen."

Aya could hear the sense of worry in voice. Aya gripped her School PAD tightly to her chest. A portal? This was a big thing to be offered, and Shelia-san would have a fit when she found out brainy Aya got the position over her.

Aya smirked lightly. "Yeah I'll do it, I should start putting my observation skills to use."

Ami-sensei looked at her, blue eyes shined at her water staring right through Aya. Right through her body and soul, she could still feel the same strong connection. Remembering walking down the hallways of her school when Ami came to teach the advance Human Anatomy kids she remembered her staring her down, and Aya could feel the chill run through her body the strong pull.

Ami-sensei smiled at her. "Well I have something for you then. Here give that," as Ami-sensei grabbed her school pad then handed Aya something it was small and pink and seemed like an old tiny lap-top or what were those things called cell-phone?

"It was my first computer system I used when I was your age…I had Solar update it more for your, but since this will be your first field observation I figured I should hand this down to you."

Aya opened it, as it seemed to glow and a hologram pop up of the symbol of Mercury. Suddenly a string of beams hit her eyes. She could feel the area around her become blue, and the area shift to glow green. She lifted her head to see her sensei in orange body heat and her anatomy being read her stats, heart rate, down to the molecule and the symbol of Mercury over her head.

Aya let her hand hover over the pad it responded to a finger twitch and everything became strings of green in the walls, her sensei now glowed blue. Down the hall she saw white figures walking around and one large green figure with a orange gold figure walking right beside her, symbols glowing on their foreheads as well.

"You probably see the other fellow sensei do you?" Ami said out of nowhere closing the mini pink laptop grinning, and Aya's vision went to normal as she waved her now normal looking pale hand in front of her face.

"The pad creates a pair of hologram visors and your finger tips of your right hand are your control, you can switch your eye vision. Body, stats, aura length, body heat it also lets you know when people not the like the rest have different auras. The monsters will normally have blackness with extreme body heat." Ami-sensei handed Aya back her school PAD.

"I don't know what to…what to say sensei I…." Aya felt her words choking up.

Ami put an arm around her shoulder. "Do not worry I felt like it was right time especially with Minako giving me permission to let you go out on your first mission, now head back to your quarters and give me a full report of tomorrow okay?" She gently pushed her down the hall.

Aya felt her feet move and notice she was near an elevator platform. She got on as the door closed her sensei waving to her.

"Night!" Ami said with a proud smile on her face. The lift moved down, the clear walls showing Ami getting higher and higher till she was no longer seen by Aya.

Aya looked at herself in her own reflection then at the mini device smiling suddenly gripping it to her chest. The School Pad falling and clinking on the floor. Aya didn't notice or care as tears rolled down her face.

"Thank you sensei…thank you…" Aya whispered eyes closed.
