Celebration and Family Reunion

Seth arrived at the Palace's ground, as he passed the gate, he and Jono get off from his horse. "Welcome back, High Priest Seth." One of the guards said as the other taking his horse back to the stable.

"Where is the Pharaoh?" Seth asked to the point.

"The Pharaoh had gone to the Market with Yugi." The guard answered.

Seth sighed, "That's mean we missed each other, huh?" he mumbled before turning to Jono, "Come, we should wait for the Pharaoh inside, I will prepare a room for you to stay if you wish to rest".

Jono nodded, "Thank you, High Priest Seth." He replied calmly, "But I would rather have a talk with this Akefia person, if you don't mind?".

Seth nodded in answer and turned around before started walking to the Palace, the walk was quiet because Seth didn't know what to talk and Jono was too mesmerized by the scenery of the Palace to talk. Seth led Jono to the training ground, "Wait here for a minute." Seth said and, after receiving a nod from Jono, went to someone that he know for sure to know where the ex-Thief King was currently. "Marik." He called to get the General's attention.

Marik stopped his training and turned to Seth, "Seth, what is it?" he asked curiously.

"Do you know where's the Thief King?" Seth asked with a scowl on his face, he had continued his acting so that the people would think that he was in a bad relation with Akefia.

Marik raised an eyebrow, "Why in the world you want to meet him?" he asked in confusion, he know that Seth was acting like he hate the albino.

"Not me." Seth answered coldly, "You see the guy over there?" he asked as he looked at Jono's direction, "He want to have a talk with the Thief King regarding Yugi".

"Yugi?" Marik asked in surprise.

Seth nodded, "Yes, it's seems that Yugi is his Little Brother, he want to know the detail of how the Thief King met Yugi." He informed before looking back at Marik, "So, do you know where he is?".

Marik was gaping at Seth, "He is Yugi's Older Brother?!" he asked in disbelief.

"It's seems so." Seth answered, "He told me that his Little Brother was kidnapped around 3 years ago and that his Little Brother has star shaped hair that has three colors, the description matched Yugi. When I asked if his Little Brother's name is Yugi, he was surprised and told me that it's right".

Marik closed his open mouth, "Um, how do you know that he's not lying?" he asked cautiously.

Seth sighed, "I don't know. But the fact that his story match Yugi's, not to mention the guy is pale skin and from another Country, Japan, make it's reasonable that he is really Yugi's Older Brother." He reasoned, "We can ask Shada to check if he is really Yugi's Brother later, for now, just let the guy talking with Akefia".

Marik sighed, "Fine." He agreed reluctantly, "Akefia is with the Seamstress".

Seth raised an eyebrow, "With the Seamstress?" he asked with a laugh, "So he finally listening to Atem, huh?".

Marik shrugged, "Either he listened to Atem's order or Yugi make him." he said nonchalantly before continuing his training.

"I bet it's the latter." Seth answered before he turned around and walked back to Jono.

Jono raised an eyebrow, "So?" he asked casually.

"Akefia is with the Seamstress, he need a new clothes after all." Seth answered before he nodded his head for Jono to follow him.

To say that Atem was shocked is an understatement, no, he was beyond shocked. He and Yugi had arrived in the Market with Atem wearing a hooded cloak so people wouldn't recognize him, the reason was so that his people wouldn't acted differently or bowing to him. Aside to accompany Yugi to the Market, he was planning to observe his people's activities, that's why he disguised himself. But just when he and Yugi arrived at the Market, the people all crowding him and Yugi and chatting happily with Yugi. He had heard that Yugi was well known among his people from what Marik told him, but hearing and seeing it by himself were two different matters, he was very shocked when he saw his people interacting with Yugi.

Atem noticed that many of the children and women all asking if 'Bakura' had made another set of clothes or offering him snack and sweets, he know very well that some of his people were still poor, so it's shocking to know that they didn't even hesitate to offering something to Yugi for free. Another shocking event was when some of the men asking if Yugi want to get a new set of throwing darts or daggers, while the other men asking Yugi for advice about what they should do with their problem. If seeing grown up men asking a 9 years old boy for advice isn't shocking, then Atem didn't know what is.

"What?!" Yugi's yell pulled Atem out from his shocked state and looked at the boy.

"Something's wrong, Yugi?" Atem asked in concern.

Yugi looked at Atem with a pair of big eyes, bigger than usual, "This man said that earlier, there's a fight between a criminal and a blond haired guy. The guy that named Jono has a massive Black Dragon Ka and had gone to the Palace with High Priest Seth!" He said with excitement in his eyes and voice.

Atem raised an eyebrow, "Why are you so excited then, Yugi?" he asked curiously.

Yugi grinning widely at him, "This Jono must be my Big Brother!" he exclaimed happily, "My Big Brother has blond hair and honey brown eyes, and he has a big Black Dragon as his Ka! And his name is Jono! So it's must be him!".

Atem stared at Yugi in shock before looking at the man, "Is that true? You saw a blond haired guy with a big Black Dragon?" he asked just to be sure.

"Um, yes." The man answered, shocked by the fact that the guy he saw earlier was Yugi's Older Brother.

Atem nodded, "Thank you for your information." He said formally and looked at Yugi, "Why don't we go back? You must be wanting to meet him, right?" He asked with a warm smile.

Yugi pouted, "But I still haven't find something for you." He said sadly.

Atem chuckled and picked him up, "Don't worry, I don't need anything beside having you with me." He assured with a smile before turning around and heading for the exit, "You don't have to get me anything at all, just by being with me is enough to make me happy".

Yugi looked at the Pharaoh with wide eyes before his expression softened and he leaned his head on Atem's shoulder, a smile gracing his lips, "I will stay here with Papa and Daddy." He promised softly, "Even if I find my family again, I will stay here, they won't take me away".

Atem looked down to Yugi with a smile and nodded, "And I won't let them to take you away from us." He promised.

"I see, so that's what happened." Jono commented once Akefia finished the story.

"Yes." Akefia said calmly before he shot a deep glare at Jono, "But let me make this clear." He started with a deep voice that carrying a threatening tone in it, "Even if you are Yugi's Older Brother, I won't let you take him away from me, from us".

Jono raised an eyebrow at that, "Well, I'm not afraid of your threat." He said with a grin, "But the decision in Yugi's, whether he want to go back to Japan or not, it's his choice." He explained, "In our family, Yugi is our treasure, what we want is Yugi's happiness, if he want to stay then we would let him stay here".

Akefia's eyes widened and Seth raising an eyebrow at Jono, "Really?" they asked together.

Jono nodded, "Yes, we will let him stay, in condition that he can come and go as he please, so that if he miss us then he can come to us without restriction, unless something emergency happened here." He explained further before frowning, "There's a bit of a problem though." He mumbled to himself.

"And that is?" Seth asked.

Jono sighed, "Our Grandpa, the Emperor of Japan, might refuse to let Yugi stay, he love Yugi so much after all." He admitted, but then he make a determined expression, "But you don't have to worry about him, if Yugi said that he want to stay then I and the others would definitely make Grandpa to agree to Yugi's wish".

"Wait!" Seth gasped while Akefia blinking his eyes, "You said Emperor of Japan, that's mean that you and Yugi are the Princes of Japan?!" Seth asked in disbelief.

Jono was the one who blinked this time, "Haven't I said so already?" he asked in confusion.

"No, you didn't." Akefia smirked, "So far you only said that you are Yugi's Older Brother, you never said that you are the Prince of Japan".

Jono blinked again and laughed, "Oh, my bad." He said cheerfully, "I forget that I never come here before, I automatically assumed that you already know that fact".

Seth sighed, "But now everything become complicated." He said softly, "If the Emperor refuse to let Yugi stay, then The Pharaoh might lose his chance to adopt Yugi".

"Huh?" Jono blinked rapidly, "The Pharaoh want to adopt my Brother?" he asked, Akefia and Seth nodded their heads in answer, Jono blinked again before a smirk come to his face, "I see." He said mysteriously.

Akefia and Seth raised their eyebrows at that, but before they could questioned it, the door thrown open and a figure tackled Jono to the floor. "+Jono-niichan!+" A cheerful voice rang loudly.

Jono's surprised expression changed into a big grin when he recognize the voice, "Yugi!" he said excitedly before standing up with Yugi in his arms and he hold Yugi at arm lengths above him, "It's really you!" he said in relief.

Yugi giggled, "+Jono-niichan!+ Long time no see." He grinned happily.

Jono answered his grin with one of his own, "Long time no see." He said before let Yugi down, "Man, you have grown so much".

"It's already three years, of course I would grow!" Yugi chirped happily, "Where's everyone?" he asked excitedly.

Jono's smile froze, "Um." He scratched his cheek with one finger, "Yugi, everyone are still in Japan, I came here by myself".

"You were running away?" Yugi asked curiously.

Jono sighed and nodded, "Yeah, you can say it that way." He agreed.

"Jono, right?" A voice make Jono turned around to see a man who was looking so much alike with Yugi, only older and has tan skin. From the Crown, Jono know right away that the man was the Pharaoh.

Jono smiled and bowed to him, "Yes, Pharaoh." He answered calmly.

The Pharaoh nodded, "Have a seat, I would like to have a chat with you." He said as he gestured for one of the chairs in the Meeting Room.

Jono make a serious expression and nodded.

One week later, the Throne Room was filled with many Guests from many Countries. People were talking among themselves while enjoying the snacks and drinks presented by the Palace's cooks, among them, 3 people were led to the Throne where the Pharaoh, High Priest Seth and High Priest Akefia was waiting.

Atem had received the congratulations from his Guests and received their presents, he told his Guests to enjoy themselves, so he could have a talk with his Guests from Japan. When they arrived in front of Atem, Atem stood up to greet them, "Thank you for coming here, Emperor Solomon, Princess Maya and Prince Ryo." He said politely.

The Emperor nodded his head while the Princess and the Prince smiled at him. The Emperor was an old man with grey hair that shaped like Yugi's, he looked so much with Atem's adviser, Shimon. The Princess was a tall young woman with wavy blond hair that reach the small of her back, her Amethyst eyes showed confident and pride to the whole world. The Prince was a teenager around 14 years old, 3 years younger than Jono, he has white hair and a pair of warm brown eyes, he was like a tamer and younger version of Akefia.

"I heard from my Grandson, Prince Jono, that my youngest Grandson, Prince Yugi, is here." The Emperor said calmly.

Atem nodded his head and tell them to follow him, then he led them together with the rest to the outside and to one of the Guest Rooms. Atem opened the door and his Guests to enter first before he and the rest entered the room, Seth closed the door after everyone had come into the room. Inside the room, Jono and Yugi already standing in the middle of the room while Isis, Malik and Marik standing not too far behind them.

"Yugi!" The Emperor, Princess Maya and Prince Ryo all called out in relief while running to him. Solomon was the first to hug Yugi and then Maya and Ryou followed, "Yugi, we found you at last." Solomon said happily.

"+Jii-chan.+" Yugi greeted with a grin, then he looked at his Sister and Brother, "+Maya-neechan, Ryo-niichan+".

Solomon turned to Atem, "Thank you for taking care of Yugi all this time, Pharaoh." He said with gratitude.

"Actually, I only meet with Yugi 6 months ago." Atem said with a smile, "If only I know that Yugi is your Grandson, then I would inform you sooner".

Solomon nodded, "I'm sure Jono already told you the reason of why I didn't ask for your help about Yugi." He stated.

Atem nodded his head as he recalled his previous conversation with Jono a week earlier.

**Flashback**

"First, Pharaoh, I need to explain the reason why Japan didn't contact you about Yugi's kidnapping." Jono said once he took a seat across from Atem, Yugi was on his lap. Atem nodded to let him know that it's alright to continue, "I don't know if your late Father have told you this or not, but you are supposed to be engaged with my Older Sister, Princess Maya from Japan".

"Engagement?" Atem asked in surprise.

Jono nodded, "I take it that you didn't know then." he said with a sigh, "Grandpa was disagree to let you get married with my Sister, he preferred to have her marry with with the Prince of England, Duke Devlin. My Sister love Duke Devlin, so Grandpa was determined to not have the engagement be done, he ended up saying that he would cut off the relation between Japan and Egypt but not have a war between us, only to not have contact with each Country".

"+Moo, Jii-chan was so stupid!+" Yugi commented unhappily.

Jono chuckled in respond, he shook his head when the Pharaoh raised an eyebrow at him. "It's nothing." He said with a smile, "Anyway, because of that, Grandpa didn't tell you about Yugi's kidnapping incident and refuse to ask for your help." He explained further, "Because we haven't contacting each other for so long, the news about your Father's death only reach us about a week ago. I then asked for Grandpa to contact Egypt to ask for your help to see if Yugi was in Egypt, but because he was so stubborn, he refused to even try." He shook his head in disappointment, "Three days ago, I had had enough and decided to take the matter myself, I took flight to Egypt with my Dragon Ka so I could arrived here faster than any other methods." He smiled when he finished the story.

**End of Flashback**

"Yes, Jono had told me the reason." Atem answered as he gestured for them to take a seat before sitting himself.

Solomon nodded, "Maya now already engaged with Prince Duke from England, I hope you can understand this." he said with a smile.

Atem smiled in answer, "I understand, if I know about it in the past, I would also refused my Father's idea." He assured, he then looked at the Princess, "Congratulation about your engagement with Duke Devlin, Princess Maya".

"Thank you, Your Majesty." Princess Maya answered with a warm smile.

"Pharaoh." Solomon called to get Atem's attention, Atem turned back to look at him and nodded to let him continue, "I would like to take Yugi with me when I leave Egypt tomorrow".

Atem sent Akefia a look when he growled with a scowl on his face and opened his mouth as if ready to yell at the Emperor, he looked back at the Emperor with serious face, "About that, Emperor Solomon." He started slowly, "I have to tell you that I was planning to adopt Yugi as my Son".
