A/N: So the Hiatus ended a lot quicker than I expected, I also re-posted the chapters and cleaned them except for chapter 5. Because it's not on my fanfic file and I lost my flash drive. Oh well...Disclaimer: I do not own any of Sailor Moon.

Chapter 18

"No I absolutely will, not accept this!" Yotamashi, glared at the Dean, "that girl deserves to fail!"

Suddenly a piece of paper was slid towards him across the old wooded table. The Dean was staring him down with his light brown eyes, a look of shame and disgust in them.

"We have heard of our unfair bias towards students that do not come from CT funded homes…and from a helpful source we realized you were inaccurately putting in grades…." The Dean said calmly at him.

The man's eyebrow twitched, he opened up the white letter and realized he was being put on probation with no pay.

The man didn't stop his glasses from sliding down his nose, his jaw dropped open it was very evident that this probation was going to leave him with no job.

"You can't be serious!?" He gawked at the Dean, but the Dean's look did not change, his pepper colored hair hit the light from the window.

"Oh I am and so is the board, we also decided that Shingetsu-san will be getting a full ride scholarship to Crystal Tokyo University….and unless you want to lose your job and not right her a letter of her improving in your class. Your sorry ass can kiss this job good bye." The dean leaned back his frown still there.

"I still think you should be fired, your student was gracious to say that even though you were scum you should keep your job…"

"Well?" He leaned forward also pushing towards the professor an official recommendation letter typed and printed. All it needed was his signature. "It's your choice my dear boy."

The professor pressed his lips together tightly looking down at the official recommendation.

(…)

Getsu was packing the last remaining clothes in her suitcase. Eyes began wandering around at the bare empty apartment. The futon was gone she sold it to the new student who was moving in.

She walked over to her small kitchen, with the un-working rusty fridge, walking around as she peered around looking back at the small bathroom, with the most of the time clogged toilet.

Yet she walked over to the living room and bedroom. Fond memories of Pong helping move in her stuff as a young seventeen year old ready to take on the world.

Chiro here playing the newest MMOD of Dungeon of Dragons New Eara twenty fourth edition, the dragons new lair. Sakura here helping her with her editing issue on journalism format with her PAD…

…Chiro tutoring her in math, a woman coming up giving her fresh cookies when she pulled all those all-nighters.

Huh….odd she didn't remember the woman's name.

Opening up the door the landlord looked at her smiling, as Getsu handed her keys over adjusting the bag on her shoulder. He was tall receding bald hair man with an untrimmed beard.

"Thanks Hina-sama…." She grinned clutching her suitcase a bag over her shoulder.

The man smiled and shuffled aside, as Getsu walked down the steps for the last time. Passing by she looked over to the back of the apartment where untamed grass held an old shed, its faded yellow paint and chipped wood very well seen. Lose boards barely holding in with the rusty nails.

Hina-sama told her once that his wife made that into a cozy living for her and him, but since she passed away he never felt the need to use it.

His wife….an image of woman flooded Getsu's vision; she clutched her head though and kept on walking.

Pong was waiting flipping his keys back and forth with his large point finger. The clanging of keys hit Getsu's ears as the man had his trunk already open up.

"I'm surprised you are willing to get in my car wide awake, I figure you would need to be out cold for me to ever get you back in something that a motor ran on…." Pong went on chuckling

Getsu's hand was on the trunk door, all her life packed in the suitcase, the little reaming stuff she had was in her bag she threw it in with a loud 'thud'. She rubbed the green gem back and forth between her fingers.

Before she would want to be away from it at all cost, now she felt like part of her was in there. She placed it in her jean pocket, as she let her fingers touch the cross that hanged from her neck.

Silently she gave one last look at that apartment she lived in for a year. So many memories, she turned back to the trunk and with one final sigh Getsu slammed the trunk shut tight, as it connected with the steel latch.

Walking back over to Pong the large man smiled down at her leaning against his car.

Getsu with shaky hands opened up the passenger side door and got herself into the set clicking on the seatbelt she took a deep breathe, her irrational fear for cars after all was very childish. She only had to drive a few miles right?

Suddenly other paranoid thoughts swam her vision; she closed her eyes tightly ignoring them for now. The other door was opened, as the weight of the large man caused the car to shift and lower a bit.

Getsu clutched her fingers, resting them on her knees knuckles white.

"Only a few miles….only a few miles…" She mumbled to herself, Pong gave her a concerned look, but turned on the car door, shifting gears as he turned onto to the road driving off.

Getsu stared out the window, as her old apartment faded from view behind the vast green trees.

The driving was only a couple minutes, but to Getsu it seemed to take, much, much longer….

Pong turned on the radio while driving, flipping through channels that connected back to the signals on the non-funded area, an Americanized radio station was playing hits from the beginning of the century.

A familiar song hit Getsu's ears.

"Hey Pong-sama?" Getsu asked looking over her boss, mentor and father figure all wrapped into one. The man looked at her with his dark eyes, but they were filled with so much warmth. Everyone thought it was weird Getsu listened to such American Renew Old Rock music instead of the new tunes that were out.

"Can you please turn this up?" Getsu asked.

The man smiled and agreed as he turned up the song, the musician's husky voice hit her ears. She could make out some of the English, but not all of it, either way it was soothing and familiar.

The acoustic guitar strumming seemed to help her driving paranoia a bit.

Getsu shut her eyes and subconsciously began humming it. They arrived to the train station, the smooth piece of curved titanium waiting for her. The windows tinted in the front and small circles at the side, a couple dozen Getsu counted off from her head she could see.

The man taking tickets was forming a line, scanner in his hand.

"All people going to Crystal Tokyo Express One Way please! Order a single file line!" He called.

Pong and hurried rushed out the car to the trunk. Getsu double check her wrist cell to make sure the proper scan code was there, and it was. The car radio still on drifted the music into the air

As she got her stuff settled, her and Pong began jogging to the steps. When they reached the entrance at the top a person was waiting.

A small familiar smile was on the girls face.

"Sakura-san?" Getsu asked shocked almost dropping her suitcase as she skidded her feet to a halt.

Sakura chuckled and suddenly wrapped her arms around the taller girl's neck pulling her in hug. "You didn't think I was not going come say good bye? Are you crazy!? My classmate…who would have believed it!"

Getsu face flushed a little. "Aren't you upset with what happened, also didn't you get released just a few days ago?"

Sakura waved her hand and chuckled. "Bah! No I'm not and I am as healthy as an ox!" She grinned widely, it was still obvious in her eyes though and a slight shake in her hand that the ordeal left some serious mental scaring.

But that did help her become stronger instead of weak?

"I want you to know it's not your fault, and I believe if Chiro-chan was here he would apologize too…" Sakura said slowly and carefully. "So I'm apologizing for him…"

The man whistled his whistle looking over at Getsu pointing at the time hanging over the station's tower. The time was hovering over it as the seconds were counting down to its departure hovering in hologram green letters.

Getsu gave Sakura once last hug, turning back to Pong who was must larger than her and taller. It could possibly be the little Ukraine heritage he had. He embraced the girl in a hug, tears being held back in his eyes. He pulled away hands on her shoulders smiling down at her.

"I'm so proud of you…." He sniffed, Getsu started laughing.

"Stop you old man, you are going to make me all sappy now." As she backed away from them as the two stepped together side by side looking at Getsu who stood next the the ticket man, her back still turned to the conductor as the train whistled getting ready to leave.

Getsu took once last glimpse of her life here, everything was going to changed now. She was building a new life, with new people and with her that woman Makoto Kino.

Sailor Jupiter….

With the other prodigies like herself, some who also had to say goodbye to their life to start a new one in Cyrtstal Tokyo.

She turned away from them to have her code bar up on its hologram on her cell as the man scanned it and nodded. She ran to the train as the woman kept the doors open for her, turning back giving one last look.

As Pong-sama and Sakura waved to her, she turned away from them tears now running from cheeks.

She had been crying a lot this past week.

Things were so emotional when they shouldn't be. She was going to see them again one day one way. As the trained doors closed behind she looked over to one of empty cart rooms no one inside. Closing the small room door behind her she placed her suitcase on the empty seat across form her and the bag on the small table in the center. It dropped with a loud clunk.

Getsu on shaky legs fell back onto the white cushion pleather seats. The smell of lemon and oranges hit her nose as she looked outside her window.

New adventures were set out for her, besides that new boy would take care of things….wait what new boy? A very blurry image of a young boy working at Pong's bar swarmed her vision.

It was dull ache, but Getsu shook her head back and forth looking back out the window to the blurred trees and flat roofs of buildings and houses, that flew by in a blur of vast colors of green, white and blue.

Back to the letter Joan had personally written her, the words came out crystal clear, she went to the mayor and learned about her old life her real name. She didn't like her first name, but the last name she found very ironic.

Suddenly a voice came onto the intercom.

"Good morning everyone!" The sweet female voice went on, "welcome to the express train to crystal Tokyo in at least one hour, please sit back relax…just a few rules we need to quickly say…."

The voice drifted away, she knew a certain tall woman was already waiting at the platform with a much smaller woman, and possibly a few people her age roaming the area in boredom waiting for her.

Waiting for the final prodigy…

Shingetsu Voin, the prodigy of Sailor Jupiter.

Getsu smiled leaning back against the white leather seats closing her eyes. As her mind back to her old days she remembers of Joan, her friends and unknowingly her family that was right under her nose.

Outisde near the plat form where the train had left not a few moments after, everyone was gone. But a lone woman wrapped in elegant green robes was standing there bare footed. Her beautiful eyes looked over the view as the woman shifted from the boy with bright green eyes, to the old woman green eyes turning into auburn brown ones; shinning like gold in the light.

The woman then let a small smile come to her lips, as the leaves drifted away from the platform that fell from the trees. Floating above the small school, to Getsu's apartment, and finally resting on Joan's grave.

A picture of a frame was put there of Joan in his High School uniform, being hugged by a longer haired school Uniform Getsu kissing him on the cheek. A blush flushed his cheeks, eyes were closed and he was laughing, clutching his diploma.

-The End-

In a dark celled padded room, a boy was laughing insanely. His body shaking with his laughter as he bended forward, hacking every few seconds or so as his laughter did not stop.

He was placed in a strap coat, and waiting for a schedule lobotomy.

Suddenly a black mist appeared over his celled door, as it leaked from the small crack under the door and throw the small three bars in the small window.

It shifted and formed into a man, a tall man with deep dark black hair almost like a raven and red eyes that stared down at the crazy boy.

"You know too much, if the Unions pick at you even in your state they might learn who I am…"

The man suddenly lifted a gun it was small black pistol revolver. He took off the safety clicking it back.

"I'll make it quick…human scum…" The voice said in deep monotone voice, the man lifted the gun over the laughing boys head.

Suddenly the gun made a bang sound, as the shock caused the man's hand to jerk back a little, smoke coming out from the end of hole.

The laughing stopped as the boy fell to the ground silence in the room, the man stepped back once again turning his body into black mist as it floated out of the padded room out the door.

Suddenly a nurse peeked in to give the boy his daily dose of sedatives, and screamed. Dropping the tray the pills forgotten

"Oh my god!" Suddenly the door was flung open and the nurse ran over to the body, rolling the boy on his back. The bullet wound to his forehead there. His crazed grin and bloodshot wide eyes still open.

A man ran over to the door as the man looked down at the dead boy. The nurse looked up and screamed loudly.

"Quick hurry get someone now!" The nurse ordered as the man nodded running down the hallway screaming for a doctor.

The black mist seemed to go unnoticed as it flew out of one of the open windows in the halls into the night sky.

-For Now…-
