HI MINNA!

I just have two A/Ns that will be applied in the future chapters. (Don't worry, it's all good news)

For this story, I was planning to write my own song but I don't have the knack of doing it… so, I'm going to use a song from the Rooster teeth production, RWBY's, Red trailer song, "Red Like Roses". It has the four original colours (yellow was the original in BNK) so it makes some sense. Though, I changed some of the words so that it would fit, but it's still copied from the original.

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter or Barajou a Kiss, not even the song "Red like Roses" by Jeff Williams.

Chapter 4: Schooling Days part 2

I woke up the moment I heard humming. The soothing melody carries itself around the air and around me. Slowly, I began to rouse and see where I was.

There was a water pump with a large stone pool full of water attached to it. The sun was making the water shimmer and there was a faint wind that mixed the singing of both the melody and birds' song.

There was a girl, facing away from me, carrying a vase. She had long waist-length hair that was similar to my hair colour, a tint of rosy-pink platinum. The girl twirled around, humming the melody before halting in front of me and began to sing lyrics.

"Red fills my dream and brings me to the place you rest,

White so cold and always yearning, burdened with a royal test,

Black the beast shadows,

Yellow burns gold."

The scenery changed drastically; the sky grew dim and the atmosphere was heavy. The face of the girl was covered, but I could see her mouth becoming a frown. She fell to her knees and started to sob into her palms.

"Why? Why?" The enigmatic girl repeated the word like a mantra. She looked back up and I saw the streams of tears weren't water. It was blood.

She stood back up and walked towards me. Her lips moved, as if trying to say something. I tried to back away, but I was against a pillar. Terrified, I curled into a protective ball, arms up around my head.

"Stop it!" I shrieked.

"Stop what?!" A voice shouted while shaking me in frustration. I opened my eyes in an instant and sat up. My face was an inch away from Kaede who was the person shaking me. He was as surprised as I was.

I flushed at the closeness and shoved him away.

"What are you doing?!" I said, a pout formed on my face. Kaede looked pissed at me.

"Did you forget what happened?"

I tapped my chin with a finger in thought, and then it hit me. There was an explosion after Neville accidentally put in the wrong ingredient. I blacked out after that. By the looks of it, Kaede brought me to the infirmary.

"I-I'm sorry for what happened…" a shy Neville stood on the other side of the bed. I didn't even realize that he was sitting there.

"No harm done, you probably didn't know that it would've done that."

I heard the door open and close, followed by a series of voices.

"Which one is it?" I heard Ron ask.

"I don't know, I'm pretty sure the only curtained bed should be it." Hermione interjected smartly.

"Shh," Harry shushed them both. "She could be sleeping."

Harry emerged first from behind the curtain and was surprised that there were people inside.

"Uh, hi… Kaede, right?" Harry said unsure of my Rhode Knight's name.

Unbothered, Kaede nodded. "Hey." Hermione and Ron didn't expect people inside either, but the three all settled around the bed.

"Sorry we visited late, Professor Snape only let Kaede and Neville take you. We couldn't follow."

Hermione said sincerely.

I shook my head. "Don't sweat it, I understand what you mean." I just hope she's not bashing herself for that reason being.

"But that blast, though!" Ron pointed out with a grin. Harry nudged him and gave him a look.

The creak of the door opening once again silences the room.

"Anise-sama! Are you alright?!" I heard Tenjoh before he yanked the curtain wide open. I saw Mutsuki behind him, pissed and annoyed.

"Can you be less loud?" He said to him. Tenjoh ignored him and pushed past Kaede to sit next to me.

"Ah~!" He said all dramatic. "My heart stopped for a minute when I had heard you fainted!"

"Tenjoh," I said with a sigh. "Don't exaggerate, it's not a big deal-"

"Anise!" Seiran came bursting through. He was panting hardly and looked like he was in a tornado.

Seiran had his hands on his knees while he was trying to catch his breath.

"Are you alright, Anise? I heard about the explosion in Potions while I was going to the dungeon. Professor Snape only allowed me to leave if I did the potion right, so I did the work as fast as I could and left!"

"Wait, you made a potion in minutes?!" Hermione said in shock. The very idea seemed to blow her mind away.

"Yeah, it was pretty easy," Seiran said innocently.

"Ahem," the nurse, Mme. Pomfrey stepped inside. "If you students don't get out of the room, I'll have you report to detention before you can say your apologies for being so loud!"

The trio, plus Kaede, said their good-byes and wished me well (Kaede said "Only an idiot could survive a blast like that.") while dragging Neville with them. Tenjoh left, only to bring back dozens of white roses and gave some to Pomfrey in attempt to woo her (though, he was still kicked out). Mutsuki followed Tenjoh out, but also told me to get better while Seiran offered to make a potion to help me get better. I declined to offer since Mme. Pomfrey said I only needed to rest.

"Sorry about the racket," I apologized to Mme. Pomfrey. She waved me off as she closed the door.

"Don't apologize, it's only natural your friends were worried about you. It's almost lunch, so you'll be missing that and history. I have a serum to help you sleep; the boy, Kaede, told me you were having a nightmare, so this should help." She held up a vial with a purplish liquid inside.

"Kaede?" I wondered out-loud.

"Yup, you've got quite a friend. He carried you so grandly, as if you weighed like nothing! Plus, he stayed for a long time, too."

I hadn't thought about that, if I were Kaede, I would've been pissed for not being appreciated.

Mme. Pomfrey pushed the vial to my hand.

"Alright, enough chatting. Drink this and go to sleep. I'll assure you will wake up before your Divination class starts." I nodded and drained the vial. I revolted the taste, but still managed to swallow it. Slowly, I slipped into a dreamless sleep.

(Linebreak)

Mme. Pomfrey was right; I was on my feet and full of energy. I walked to the tower where the second-last class was being held. The professor was already waiting for me outside the doorway.

"Welcome, Anise Yamamoto!" The Professor announced with a flare. "I was expecting you! I am Professor Trelawney, your divination instructor."

She led me inside, where I saw an empty seat at the front where Harry was sitting by himself. He saw me and immediately looked relieved for some reason.

"How are you feeling?" he whispered before I even sat down.

"I feel like I can run laps around the school!" I said with energy and a smile. Truthfully, I felt another headache coming on, but I didn't want to worry Hermione.

Professor Trelawney sashayed to the front and pointed at the card hovering next to her. She explained how the stars and planets connect to all of our past, future and present. I listened to her example of Harry's future. She was exaggerating how she saw death, which made the two girls, Parvati Patil and Lavender Brown, gasp while Harry rolled his eyes.

Skeptical, I leaned over towards Harry. "You do know she just predicted your death, right?"

"She does all the time," Harry explains, "yet I'm still coming to her classes alive."

For the rest of class, we practised with groups of four. I was with Harry the entire time, so I didn't realise that Hermione wasn't in class until we joined Ron and Kaede.

"Where's Hermione?"

"She quit Divinations this year and is doing advance work," Ron grumbled unhappily, staring at the stars and planets chart.

"Lucky," I mumbled. This class was really boring.

"Well, maybe if you studied like Hermione, you could've had a choice to do another subject," said Kaede.

"Shut up, Kaede," I harrumphed.

"Yamamoto!" Professor Trelawney scolded. "Do your work properly!"

Kaede gave me a smirk. Annoyed, I took my chart and pretended to read his future. "Kaede, if I were you, I would avoid getting someone angry. It will be the death of you if you don't."

He grabbed the chart. "Does it mention this someone being a pink-haired girl with an attitude?"

Insulted, I tried to pry the page out of his hands. "Hand it back!"

I unintentionally pushed him back (we were sitting on cushions), causing me to fall with him. One again, we found our faces close to each other, our lips nearly touching.

"Ahem, Ms. Yamamoto and Mr. Higa, you are disrupting the atmosphere in this room!" Trelawney said with anger.

I got up fast and straightened myself. Professor Trelawney took my chart from Kaede and smoothed the wrinkles.

"Sorry, professor. I just don't get it," I said innocently.

"Oh, alright. I'll show you how to do it," she said, happy to help.

This got the attention from the other students, especially Parvati and Lavender. I sat directly across from the professor and was face-to-face with her.

"Let me see…your birthday is on this day and you are this old…"

I could see the thinking wrinkles forming on her forehead. The wrinkles were so deep; I swear I can see a question written across the skin.

"Impossible…" the fortune-telling professor murmured out loud.

"Huh?" I said, beginning to see doubles of Trelawney.

The professor's hands shot out of mine as if they were on fire. That's what I thought, but I was actually propelled back by a force and was knocked against the stone wall. Then, my vision caved in.

I was standing watching the same girl from my other dream. She was in a fancy red and gold dress that had flowing silk that were brimmed with laces of an extravagant design. Her rosy platinum hair was up in a complicated bun that let a few shorter bangs escape at the sides. An easily-seen crown nestled to confirm her status.

"Your Highness?" A dark-haired man dressed in black armor stepped up from the shadows. "Your father, the king, seeks your presence at the Hall."

"Oh! The meeting with the Son of the White Family!" the princess exclaimed and grabbed the vase full of water. She held the heavy vase with ease. "Uh, tell them I will arrive after I water the garden!"

The man's face was hard to see, but I saw a glimpse of a smile. He took familiar steps to the princess.

"I shall water them for you," he said gently prying her hands off. "You should greet your betrothed."

The princess hesitated. "Alright then, thank you." She hurried with her lady-in-waiting.

The knight looked at the water, a sad feeling floated in the air. He looked up, his chin rising up to the sky, and before I awoken; I saw a shine of a tear running down his chin.
