I know it's been a long time, but school has made me really busy and I'm constantly tired. I don't even have time to read books which is a shame. I HOPE YOU WILL LIKE THIS CHAPTER

Next day...

A knock on the door woke me up.

"Wake up and get ready, I won't wait for you here longer than 20 minutes. I must live while I'm still young and waiting in front of your bedroom isn't something I call living." Jace said.

"Go away."

"Can't do that. Now get ready or I'll have to come and get you which, I'm sure, you won't enjoy but at least you'll get a view of my good looks."

"Cocky much?" I shout but stay where I am.

"I'm not cocky. Cocky people are delusional and fool themselves over their good looks and charms. I, on the other hand, am not fooling myself and know just how charming I am. People are always unable cannot resist me."

"Good for you. Now leave me alone." I hear a sigh and after two seconds when I think he has gone away, the door opens and footsteps echo around the room. I bury myself in the sheets and pillows, but he still manages to pick me up.

"No," I try to scramble away from him, but his hold on me is too strong.

"I warned you. Now stop complaining and go change into Shadowhunter gear."

"I can't if you don't put me down, you idiot."

He set me down and I kicked him out of the room. Then, I showered and dressed into the fighting gear. And when I got outside, Jace was waiting.

"Finally."

"Shut up, Blondie."

"Blondie?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Would you rather be called Goldie Locks, because that can also be arranged." He smirked the cockiest smirk I have ever seen in my life.

"Well, my hair is golden, isn't it?" What's up with him? He's worse than yesterday. I'm not a morning person and believe me, if all mornings will be like this, I will die.

"Ugh, just shut up, will you?"

"Someone got up on a wrong foot?"

"I didn't get up on any foot! You dragged me out of bed and carried me to the bathroom, remember?" Before he can reply, we arrive to the training room which is basically a room with lots of space, there are some targets on the wall, punching bags and lots of more Shadowhunter stuff. It's a lot different from the one at home. The room was a lot smaller and the walls were different colors. Morgenstern ring was painted on the walls- it was my work and the only one my father was proud of- and there were lots of weapons.

"So, what's your specialty?" Jace asked.

"Excuse me?"

"Your specialty? What weapons can you use? Which fighting skills are you best at?" He asks.

"I'm pretty much good at anything. Give me a bow and arrows, I'll shoot the target on sight. Give me a knife, the target will be long dead. Give me a whip and we all know it wouldn't end well. Let's not even mention the seraph blades."

"Okay, I guess we'll just have to start at the end. Hand-to-hand combat. You against Isabelle."

I nodded. Isabelle was standing in the corner of the room, talking to Alec about something. Jace went to get her and in a minute, we were fighting. She tried to elbow me in the stomach, but I tripped her and she fell on her stomach. That's when I grabbed her arm and pulled it behind her, capturing her so she was unable to move.

"Okay, that was impressive. Under 3 minutes. Not bad, but let's be honest, Izzy's nothing against Alec." Jace says and points to Alec, who gave me the stink eye, although I have no idea why. But I shrug it off and let go of Isabelle. She stands up and heads towards Jace. She slaps him so hard that you can see the trace of her palm on his left cheek.

"Ouch! What was that for?" Jace clearly didn't expect Isabelle to do this. Neither did I.

"That's for your sexist remark. Just because I'm a woman, doesn't mean that I can't fight. She just took me by surprise. I hadn't expected her to be this strong. She's probably stronger than you."

"First of all, that remark was not sexist. It was a statement. A fact. Second, I did not say you can't fight. You said that. Third of all, only Jonathan is stronger than me. But don't tell him I said that."

"What are you guys even talking about? Who's Jonathan?" Suddenly, the door opens.

"I am." A male voice says. I turn around and see the guy from the club. The one with white hair who looked strangely familiar. Behind him is an older woman. Not old, but older than me. She has red hair and looks really beautiful. "My name's Jonathan Christopher Fairchild." He says, smirking.

"Oh, it's you again." I roll my eyes.

"Many people would be thrilled to talk to me."

"Oh please, you sound like Jace. My ears can take only so much arrogance a day." Hodge, and another woman, who looks like Isabelle, and probably her husband come inside the training room.

"Clarissa. I see you're already busy. That's good. It takes your mind off of things." Hodge says.

"Yeah, thanks for reminding me. Good job." I reply. There's a silence spreading across the room, when the woman who came with Jonathan says:

"Hi. I'm Jocelyn Fairchild. His mother." She points to Jonathan and after a second, her hand is outstretched for me to shake, but after I eye her suspiciously, I decide to shake it after all.

"I'm Maryse and this is Robert. We're Jace's, Isabelle's and Alec's parents."

"I'm Clarissa Joanna."

Everybody takes a sear in the training room. Everyone but Alec and me. We fight.

We're using training weapons now. Training weapons are softer and aren't sharp at all, but you still have to be careful because someone might get hurt. Not killed, but hurt.

With a seraph blade in my right hand, I try to form some kind of a plan. He's tall and has some muscles, but I know it's not likely that he'll use his elbows and knees. He's also holding a seraph blade in his hand, but he's holding it too tightly, which means he's angry or scared. But it's not likely for him to be scared so I'll go with angry, which means that his attacks could be aggressive and he won't think things through. Strike one.

I'm standing close to a wall and he tries to tackle me to the ground, but I move too quickly for him and now he's the one cornered against the walls. I grab his hand and twist it, which makes him drop the seraph blade. He screams and tries to punch me, but I duck and intentionally drop the seraph blade in my other hand. With the free hand, I grab his throat and lift him off the ground like he was made of feathers. It's easy because Valentine made me lift harder things than him. He's weaponless, tired and losing oxygen. Strike two.

I throw him agains the wall and he tries to get up, but he's too slow for me. That's a weakness. He's too big. He tries to turn around but I kick him in the stomach. He can't breathe, but his anger is visible. Never fight with your emotions. Never let them control you. If you do, that's strike three. I push him- hard - against the wall so that he hits his head and goes unconscious. And you're out.

"Alec!" Isabelle runs to him all worried for her brother. "What did you do? What are you?!"

"Don't worry. He's fine. He'll be alright when he wakes up. He'll only have a headache." I say.

"You probably broke his bones. And yo-your eyes! They turned..." She's crying now. Hodge, Robert and Jace ran to Alec's side. Hodge takes his pulse.

"He's weak. He'll have to rest for weeks. We need to call Silent Brothers but he'll be fine, Izzy."

"Wait, what? I don't understand. You said Alec was a way better fighter than Isabelle. I went easy on him. I didn't do anything." I said. "He wanted to fight. My punches were as light as they could be."

"Your punches could bring down the whole City of Bones! Or Alicante." Jace and Robert carried Alec to his room, where the Silent Brothers will see him. Hodge went to write a fire-mail to them. And I stand there, confused, just like everyone else. My hair has fallen out of the ponytail that I had made before and I must look terrible. I fix it, but then, Maryse clears her throat and that's when I finally turn around.

Jocelyn, Jonathan and Maryse all look at me like I did something... I don't know how to put it... Extraordinary? Weird? Something they haven't seen before?

Wait... "Did she.. Did she say something about my eyes?"

Jocelyn and Maryse look at each other in silence, but it was Jonathan who answered my question.

"Your eyes turned silver."
