The chosen Pharaoh
Last time so did Aknadin and Bakura return the seven Millennium items back into the Millennium Stone and Aknadin became Zorc's servant and it was revealed that he was Seto's father. Aknadin then grabbed Seto and was planning on stealing the White Dragon from Kisara, Karim went to the shadow realm when he gave his last life force to Shada and then Atem went to get to Seto and stop Aknadin in time. But he arrived too late Aknadin had already sealed the White Dragon and then he had taken over Seto's mind in order to destroy Atem and then Aknadin took and summoned the White Dragon, can Atem defeat the dragon and stop Aknadin?
Chapter 15- Blue-Eyes vs Mahad and Zorc arrives
WITH THE SACRED GUARDIANS AND SHIMON AND MANA,
Shimon and Mana met up with Isis and Shada, "Did you find Bakura anywhere?" They shook their heads and Shada said: "No but we need to find him and soon and destroy that stone tablet or Zorc the Dark One will really cross over into our world, and we all know that would be bad".
Shimon looked at Mana and saw that she had a really worried expression on her face and he knew that she was worried about the Pharaoh, he put his hand on her shoulder and she looked at him and saw him smiling at her.
"Don't worry Mana, the Pharaoh will be fine, he will find Seto and save him from Aknadin before he corrupts him". Mana smiled and nodded at him, but she still couldn't get rid of this bad feeling she was having, that Atem was in trouble.
WITH ATEM,
Atem stared at the Blue-Eyes White Dragon as it roared at him, only the roar had enough power to create shockwaves that hit him pretty hard. The possessed Seto laughed, "What's wrong Atem? Aren't you going to summon something? In that case this will be easier than I thought, now get him Blue-Eyes".
Blue-Eyes roared and swung his tail towards Atem, Atem had to jump out of the way in order to avoid the tail that hit the place he had been at a moment ago so hard that the ground shook.
Atem gritted his teeth and stood up, "I guess I have to fight the White Dragon after all, I now summon Mahad the Dark Magician". Atem's DiaDhank glowed and Mahad's symbol appeared on one of the blades. Mahad appeared and stared in shock at the dragon and then he noticed that Seto was standing behind it with a evil smirk on his face.
Mahad looked at Atem, "Atem what's going on here? What kind of dragon is this because from what I can sense it has power that rivals that of the Egyptian gods themselves, and why are Seto fighting you?" Atem looked at Mahad. "Alright for your first question Mahad, for a while now there has been a rumor going around about a White Dragon with an incredible power in the city and this is it, the Blue-Eyes White Dragon and the reason Seto is fighting me is because Aknadin has taken over his mind and are fighting me in order to make Seto the king in Zorc's new world".
Mahad's eyes narrowed, "If that's the case then I won't hold back, I can't if I'm going to take down this dragon". The possessed Seto laughed, "If you think you can take down the Blue-Eyes White Dragon then you're welcome to try but I can already guess the outcome Mahad, Blue-Eyes will be victorious, now Blue-Eyes destroy Mahad with your White Lightning Attack".
Blue-Eyes began to charge up an attack and fired it at Mahad, but Mahad activated his Dark Magic Portal and the vortex absorbed the attack and another portal appeared above Blue-Eyes and its own White Lightning Attack was flying towards him.
Blue-Eyes flew to the right in order to avoid his own attack that flew out in to the desert and a huge explosion appeared, but that made him lose focus on the battle and then Mahad unleashed his Rapid Spell Fire at the White Dragon and every shot hit him in the face. It didn't to that much damage on the dragon itself but the possessed Seto held his head in pain, he gritted his teeth, "You won't be that lucky again Mahad".
Blue-Eyes once again charged up and fired his White Lightning Attack at Mahad again, Mahad barely managed to dodge the attack, he could feel that if he got hit even just one time so would he be destroyed by the dragon so he had to do everything he could do to avoid its attacks and then counterattack.
Mahad took and activated the power of his Binding Illusion and the magic circle appeared and trapped the White Dragon, the dragon struggled a few seconds before he broke free but that were all the time Mahad needed in order to prepare his Dark Magic Attack and fired it at the White Dragon and the force was strong enough to knock it a bit out of the sky and did a little bit of damage to the dragon.
The possessed Seto held his head and chest in pain, he looked at Atem who looked back at him, "That dragon might be almost unbeatable Aknadin but you can still run out of your energy and if you do so can't you control the Blue-Eyes White Dragon".
The possessed Seto looked at him with anger and hatred in his eyes, "Why won't you just go down easily, then I will make your destruction quick and painless, if you struggle so will I make it more painful for you". Atem's eyes narrowed, "I might go down here if that dragon land just one attack on Mahad, but I won't just lie down and let you destroy me without a fight, I will fight you until the end Aknadin, I won't quit until I free Seto from your control".
The possessed Seto growled and ordered Blue-Eyes to tear Mahad apart, the dragon flew towards him with his jaws wide open, Mahad managed to get out of the way just in time and hit Blue-Eyes in the back of his head with his Dark Magic Attack, the possessed Seto's legs was beginning to tremble.
But Mahad was also starting to run out of power, he knew he needed to end this now or he wouldn't be able to continue battling the White Dragon, Mahad prepared his Dark Magic Attack and was gathering all the power he had left into this final attack.
Mahad unleashed his attack and it flew towards Blue-Eyes, but the possessed Seto looked up, "Now Blue-Eyes counterattack, strike that magician down once and for all, White Lightning Attack". Blue-Eyes opened his mouth and fired his White Lightning Attack towards the Dark Magic Attack, the White Lightning Attack overpowered the Dark Magic Attack pretty easily and flew towards a defenseless Mahad.
Mahad was hit by the attack and after a second so was he destroyed by the powerful dragon's attack. Atem went down on a knee and held his chest in pain, he looked at the possessed Seto who had once again gained a evil smirk on his face, "I guess this is the end of you Atem, now I will destroy you so that Seto can become the Pharaoh in the new world that is about to be formed".
Atem managed to get back up on his feet and looked at the possessed Seto with narrowed eyes, "But is that really what Seto wants Aknadin? Seto, can you hear me? What kind of world do you want? One made out of completely made out of darkness or one with light in it? If you chose the light then force Aknadin out and return to my side and we will stop Zorc together".
The possessed Seto laughed, "If you think that you can make Seto rebel against me then you're a fool, now Blue-Eyes destroy him with White Lightning". The dragon roared and began to charge up his attack.
INSIDE OF SETO'S MIND,
Aknadin had an evil smile on his face, "You will soon be king my son, as soon as the White Dragon finish the current Pharaoh Atem off".
Seto who had been unconscious inside of his own mind was slowly beginning to move, he had heard Atem's words, and he knew what kind of world he wanted to live in, a world filled with light and hope, he began to move his mouth and mumbled, "No don't Blue-Eyes… Don't Kisara".
OUTSIDE OF SETO'S MIND,
The possessed Seto had a evil smirk on his face as he saw the dragon charge up its White Lightning Attack and Atem prepared himself to get destroyed by the attack, but then the two of them got shocked when the dragon cancelled his own attack.
The possessed Seto tried to get the dragon to attack but it refused to attack Atem, and then the dragon suddenly started to disappear, Atem smiled, he realized that the real Seto had managed to reach out to the spirit of Kisara that was fused with the spirit of the White Dragon.
INSIDE OF SETO'S MIND,
Aknadin was shocked over the dragon's suddenly disappearance, then he got shocked and horrified when Blue-Eyes appeared in Seto's mind, the dragon then used his power to banish the soul of Aknadin to the world of darkness. Blue-Eyes then looked at Seto and the spirit of Kisara told it that he was worthy of its power, then White Dragon then connected its spirit to Seto's, making Seto its master.
OUTSIDE OF SETO'S MIND,
Seto was regaining his own consciousness, he was on his knees and looked around and saw Atem on his knees as well gasping in pain, he got up and ran towards him and went down on his knees next to him.
"Pharaoh, how are you feeling, please tell me that I didn't do this to you". Atem gave him a sad smile, "Well it was your body but you weren't in control of yourself, this was all Aknadin's doing, and now the White Dragon has banished him to the world of darkness".
Seto closed his eyes and got a pained expression on his face, "I don't know what to say but I promise you this, I will regain my honor as well as your trust Pharaoh". Seto felt a hand on his shoulder and saw Atem smile at him, "I haven't lost my trust in you Seto, you got the White Dragon to spare me and that's all I need to know in order to keep my faith in you". Seto looked at him and got a smile on his own face, "Thanks Pharaoh, I will never fail you again, I will help you stop Zorc and save our land from destruction", Atem smiled and nodded.
WITH MANA, SHIMON AND THE SACRED GUARDIANS,
Mana looked up in the sky with a shocked look on her face, then she got a smile on her face, the bad feeling she was having had disappeared, she knew that Atem was safe and would return with Seto.
She looked at Shimon, "I can feel that Atem is safe and that he and Seto will return soon". Shimon smiled, "That is good news, now all we have to do is to find the Millennium Stone before…" Shimon wasn't able to finish his sentence because the ground begun to tremble and cracks appeared in the ground.
Out of the ground appeared the Millennium Stone with Bakura standing on it with Diabound behind, the stone tablet floated up in the sky and Bakura laughed, "Well I have some bad news you fools, time's up, there is only one thing left to do, in order to fully open the doorway a evil human spirit have as well the spirit of an evil creature have to be sacrificed".
Everyone gasped in shocked at what Bakura had just said and realized what he was about to do, they then saw him sacrifice himself and Diabound, the stone tablet then shattered and the Millennium items flew in different directions.
The ground opened up and flames came up from the ground, and then they could see something inside of the flames, an enormous black and purple creature with red eyes clawed hands and feet, one bent horn on both the right and left side of his hand going forward and two small horns on his chin. He had two large black wings on his back, a tail on his back and it continued forward between his legs and was in the front a dragon head.
WITH ATEM AND SETO,
Atem and Seto had just recovered enough so that both of them could move without stumbling when they felt the ground tremble, they look in the direction of the palace and saw a enormous black and purple creature, Seto looked at it in pure shock and horror, "Is that who I think it is?" Atem's eyes narrowed, "I'm afraid so, that must be Zorc the Dark One, it seems that the others failed in destroying the Millennium Stone in time, so all we can do you is to take Zorc down in battle".
Seto nodded and both of them ran towards Atem's horse, they both jumped up on it and rode towards the palace, begging to the gods that they would make it there before Zorc did".
20 MINUTES OF INTENSE RIDING,
Atem could see the wall around the city now and saw that the guards and soldiers had prepared for battle, he could also see that Shimon, Isis, Mana and Shada were there.
They arrived there and Mana ran up and hugged Atem, "I'm so relieved that you are okay". Atem smiled and looked around, "This won't stop him, all the armies in world combined wouldn't be able to even slow Zorc down".
Shimon nodded, "I know Pharaoh, and we all know that there is only one way to stop the Dark One". Shimon looked Atem in the eyes, "You must summon the three Egyptian gods and have them battle Zorc". Atem gritted his teeth, "Yes I know, but I can't, not without my Millennium Puzzle". Isis came up to him, "I know and that's why Spiria is looking for them and gather them and bring them back to us, but until she does we will have to keep Zorc busy".
Atem nodded and told everyone to summon their strongest shadow creatures, Seto summoned Duos, Shada summoned Twin-Headed Jackal Warrior and Mana Dark Magician Girl, Atem was about to summon Mahad but then his vision got blurry and he was about to fall. Seto noticed that and quickly rushed over to Atem and caught him, "You must not fight Pharaoh, you have taken too much damage from your previous battles, leave distracting Zorc to us and let me lead the attack on him".
Atem smiled and nodded, Seto stepped forward and ordered the soldiers to launch the boulders in the catapults so that there creatures could get close to Zorc. The soldiers fired the huge boulders at Zorc but they melted at contact with his body, at the same time so did the three shadow creatures fly towards him and attacked him at the same time and all the attacks hit him in the face.
They all waited, then they all got shocked when they saw his face, they hadn't been expecting to do much damage to him but he didn't have a single scratch on him, he laughed, "If that's all you got then this won't take long".
He swung his arm and created a powerful wind and the creatures was forced away from him, he then saw Atem and dark energy was building up in his hand, "I guess I will start by destroying the pillar of your hope, the chosen Pharaoh", he sent the energy blast towards Atem who didn't have time to dodge it and figured that this was it.
But before it hit him so did he feel someone tackle him out of the way, he managed to see that it had been Shada who had tackled him before the energy blast hit Shada. Atem fell to the ground but quickly got up and yelled out Shada's name, he could see Shada seriously burned on the ground, he ran up to him, Shada looked at him and smiled.
"I'm glad that you're safe my king, now please take Zorc down". Atem nodded and then closed his eyes in anger and sadness as he knew that Shada was sent to the shadow realm, he then heard Isis call out to him, he looked at her and saw her pointing up in the sky, he looked up and saw Spiria who was holding a bag.
Isis, Seto and Atem ran over to her and took back their Millennium items, Isis her necklace, Seto his rod, and Atem his puzzle, Atem could feel the puzzle restoring his power, but slowly, "This is not good, I'm going to need more time to get back to full strength so that I can summon the gods".
Shimon's eyes narrowed, he walked over to the bag and took out the Millennium Key, "Then I will buy you all the time you need, I used to be the guardian of the Millennium Key and so I will one more time ask it for help, so now Millennium Key, with your power I will call upon the Forbidden One, now come forth Exodia".
Then in front of Zorc so did five stone tablets appear, then out of the ground came a enormous orange monster who was chained up, Atem couldn't believe it, he had heard about it but now so was he actually seeing Exodia the Forbidden One, a creature so powerful that it alone obliterated a thousand armies in a single night.
Atem saw how Exodia broke the chains that was holding it and ran up to Zorc and locked hands with him and how the two of them exchanged punches, he hoped that Exodia could take him down but he already knew that the only ones who had a chance to do that was the three gods together, but he was unsure that even they could do that, then he came to think about something Mahad taught him long ago.
FLASHBACK,
Mahad was waiting for Atem, in the palace garden, he looked up and saw the young prince coming towards him, "Hi Mahad, you wanted to see me?" Mahad nodded and told him to follow him, Atem was a little confused over the secrecy but followed him.
Mahad led Atem to a place in the garden there no one could see them and looked at Atem. Atem looked at him with a confused look on his face, "What's going on Mahad? What's up with all this secrecy?"
Mahad took a very deep breath, "From now on I will call you here so that you can practice a certain spell". Atem looked at him with narrowed eyes, "And I guess that this is a spell that I really shouldn't know about, otherwise we wouldn't have to do it in secret".
Mahad nodded, "The spell I shall teach you is a spell you're only going to be able to do once in your life, it's the ultimate sealing spell but it was made a forbidden spell because of the price that a person would be forced to pay in order to use it. So Atem I will tell you this, I have a feeling that you might need it later in your life but you're only allowed to use it if it's the only option you have left, is that understood?"
Atem nodded his head and then Mahad showed him the spell and told him to memorize it, and so Atem began his secret lessons with Mahad, knowing that Mahad wouldn't make him do this without a reason.
END OF FLASHBACK,
This was what Mahad meant, he somehow knew that this would happen and gave me a secret last weapon in case I wouldn't be able to take down Zorc with force, I will still try to take Zorc down with the gods because I still believe that they can take him down, but in case they're unable to defeat him I will have to use this last option, even if I have to break my most important promise to Mana, Atem though as Exodia and Zorc were still fighting.
As they watched the two giants battle so was it clear that Zorc had begun to push Exodia back, Zorc punched Exodia so that he took a few earth shaking steps backwards before he laughed, "Exodia, do you really think that you will be able to overpower me? You are drawing your power from the life force of a single human while I draw power from the endless darkness itself".
Shimon gritted his teeth, "Is that so Zorc, well in that case allow me to show you what the life force of a single human can do, now Exodia use the power of my life force to obliterate Zorc with your Exodo Flame". Exodia gathered energy in his hands before he unleashed a massive blast of fire at Zorc, but Zorc only laughed, "There is no creature in existence that can defeat me, I am unbeatable, Dark Phenomenon". Zorc unleash a slash of dark energy that cut through Exodia's flames and cut the great defender of Egypt straight in half.
As Exodia was destroyed so did Shimon collapse while he apologized to Atem, Atem closed his eyes as his royal advisor as well as his father's oldest friend was sent to the shadow realm, but his sacrifice had given Atem the time he needed to regain his full strength, he once again put the puzzle around his neck and stepped forward.
"Alright Zorc, it's time for me to face you, I will put an end to your evil and stop you from destroying the entire world, and I will do it with the help of the Deities of Domination". The puzzle began to glow and Atem prepared himself to summon the gods, he really hoped that they could destroy Zorc.
