Guns: Okay, I have a new rule as many of you have noticed.

The next day when I returned with Luki, things were quieter than usual. I looked around, unfazed by the thick atmosphere. I knew I'd find out the dilemma within the large household before lunch. I walked up to Miku's room once more to check on the fireplace. I had to see if any bricks had fallen out of place as well as begin my newest tactic I came up with shortly last night before falling asleep although I was not able to immediately begin such a plan for when I opened the door to Ms. Hatsune's room, she was no where to be found. I stuck it as odd but decided it was best not to question it. It allowed me some time to plan my "battle plan" further.

The fireplace seemed to be well in place. The cement held the bricks perfectly together, so I decided to celebrate my job well done by putting the logs beside it in and lighting it. The fire quickly started and I sat in front of it for a mere minute as I warmed up from the cold walk to the house. I didn't even notice when Miku walked in. She stood a yard away from me before she spoke up. "It's about time you got here. I was needing someone to start the fire," she said as she walked to her dresser. Her robe, slippers and wet hair told me she had just finished taking a shower. I quickly got up to leave so she could change into her clothes but she already began to change in front of me even though her front side was turned to me. I stared at her in awe.

"U-Um, Ms. Hatsune?" I called out to her.

"Oh, yes? Be a doll and hook my bra for me," she said so casually, it was scary. I gulped and blushed darkly.

"B-But you are well aware I am a man, correct?"

"You're more of a boy than a man, Mr. Hatsune," she said with a smirk. Wait, how did she know my last name? I only introduced myself to her with my first name, didn't I? I shook my head slightly and walked over to her cautiously.

"How did you know my last name?" I said as I gulped and actually hooked her bra up for her. She turned to me, half naked and not the least bit fazed by it. Her cold stare looked straight through me or so it felt. I gulped again, this time in fear.

"I make it my business to know who I am speaking to," and with that, a light smile formed on her face. It sent me into a bit of shock at how cute she could be, but I was able to snap back almost immediately. I could feel the red rise from my cheeks a bit as I looked down and away. She seemed amused by my embarrassment and let out a slight chuckle as she began to put on her new dress. It was soft pink and since she wasn't a woman of curves, a bit looser than what it typically could have been. I couldn't bare another minute of it and just decided to leave with Luki, and we took an early lunch.

Luki eyed at me once we stopped and sat me down on the bench. He knew something was up, like always. "Mikuo, it's still morning," he said.

"I know. I just needed to get away from it all."

"From what? Work?"

"No...Yes. Kinda?"

"Mikuo, seriously."

"Well... I need you to help me on something."

"Does this something involve murder?" Luki asked with a sigh. Just looking at him, his face had this has got to be the dumbest shit you've ever thought of Mikuo and I don't even know what the fuck it is yet. I smiled nervously before I lightly shook my head to his question.

"No, no. Nothing like that... There's this girl I need to get to like me, you know, like me like me."

"Ohh, really? Who? I didn't even think you were thinking about girls. All you seem to care about is your mom, food, your mom, your mom and work."

"Ai, shut it," I laughed. "I really need advice on how to impress her though.

"Alright, alright. Just tell me who the lucky girl is. Is she Japanese?"

"Yeah...She's um, Miku."

Luki stared at me for a long time. His once happy expression now changed into something very blank, monochromatic as if he were trying not to expose into a burst or rather, he was in a deep thought. It was one of those looks that could only be read as why? and never seemed to ask much more out of a person. I decided it was best not to break the silence first and allow him to be the one.

"Mikuo...Are you trying to get yourself killed?"

Guns: and my rep is probably down the drain by now... Ah, life. Extremely late update but after a happy birthday message sent to me, I was inspired to finally update before finals. :3

Anime-Addict-no-1: a lot of death is like hmm... *gestures appropriate estimate of the term "a lot"* And all our OTPs must be together... but however, I am not a kind woman.
Mikuo: *tries to escape after threat* I DON'T WANT TO KNOW HOW GIRLS ARE. THEY BLEED FOR A WEEK ONCE A MONTH. HOW DO THEY DO THAT?

AruuYuda-ShoriKyuyu: aha, at least someone notices my pitiful attempts at humor :'3 and ack, I'll try to update this story more often once finals are freaking done. o.e

Children of Light: So thank you SO much for wishing me a happy birthday. It was super sweet. QvQ
Mikuo: a man has to do what a man has to do, and if taking advantage of a maiden's heart is one of them then so be it...
Guns: They're going to hate you.
Mikuo: YOU MADE ME SAY THAT.

S/N: Okay so since it's time for finals, don't expect an update this week!
