Chapter 6- Natsu Dragneel
"Incoming call, incoming call!" The lacrima chirped. Mirajane looked over at Natsu, who was at his now usual place, slumped over a table. She decided to let him be, and went over to the guild's main Lacrima.
Call from a blocked number? How odd, she mused to herself. Pressing accept, she answered "Hello!? Fairy Tail, main line, Mirajane speaking."
"Yes, Hello. My name is Kita. I have something to say to the entire guild, please put me on video." Mira clicked video. Instantly an image was projected into the air, of a beautiful girl, with long dark flowing hair, blue-green eyes, and a rose in her hair. her eye was black and swollen, making her look sad and roughed up.
"You are on video to the whole guild, Kita, now you said you have important news?" Mira asked.
"Yes. My master wanted me to send it specifically to Natsu Dragneel, but it pertains to the guild as well." Hearing his name, Natsu looked up. "About a week ago, you lost a member, am I correct?" Natsu glumly nodded. "Lucy Heartfilia?" Another nod. "Reports state she was stabbed in the chest with a sword, then her body bubbled and boiled away into nothingness, am I correct?" Natsu started crying.
"Look, Kita, this is still a touchy subject. Could you get to the point of what you're trying to say?" Mira asked gently.
"Oh for the love of God, give me that." The image switched to a girl, identical to Kita, but with her hair pulled back into a ponytail. "Thank you. Excuse my idiot of a sister."
"That's the girl that shape-shifted into Erza!" Gray yelled, jumping up, fists clenched.
"Please, let us explain." Arina asked.
"Gray that's enough. Let the girls explain themselves." Master Makarov reprimanded.
"My name is Arina, and my sister here is Kita. We are-"
"Unwilling!" Kita interjected.
"members of the dark guild Black August. Many days ago we went up against you. My orders were to take out Fullbuster. My apologies."
"What she means is that our Master, Master Sparks, made Arina attack Mr. Fullbuster, because Sparks is scary and mean and brutal." Kita said.
"Yes, thank you Kita. Anway, as you know, the Heartfilia girl, Lucy, jumped in front and took the blow. It was never my intention or objective to harm her. I am so sorry."
"Arina, just tell them what the Master said."
"Right. She fell to the ground, but should have left behind a body. "Yet she didn't."
"ARINA JUST GET TO THE POINT!"
"SHUT UP KITA I'M GETTING TO IT! Anyway, the reason she didn't is because of my sister here. I specialize in camoflage magic, taking on forms of those around me. Kita specializes in teleportation magic." Arina explained. "It appears that the person is bubbling and boiling away, like what you reported for the Heartfilia girl. It is because my sister here saved her. Defied our Master's orders, and got us in a lot of trouble, because she hates violence and hurting others."
"Lucy is...alive?" Natsu whispered.
"Yes, she is alive, but barely. Our Master told us to tell you that you have to come and get her, or war will be waged on Fairy Tail."
"However, please use caution. Our Master will not let you just have her. You will have to fight for her, Mr. Dragneel. It's a really big trap." Kita whispered. "Sparks is planning on killing you, then tapping into Lucy's magic, to fire off an enormous magic cannon right at the Magic Council." Tears started falling down her face. "Please, rescue Miss Heartfilia, and please, rescue us." She whispered.
The lacrima went blank, along with the faces of everyone there.
Natsu stood up. "I don't know about you guys, but this was a challenge for me. I'm going."
"Natsu, didn't you hear? It's a trap!" Happy cried out.
"I heard, Happy. That's why I have to go. Those girls need help. Who am I to leave them in a bad situation?" Natsu replied. "Besides," He added, "They have Lucy." Natsu turned and walked out of the guild.
