Charlie's POV-
I was standing backstage at the boys concert next to Jessica. She looked OK, and not as mad as I thought she'd look. I still wasn't gonna risk speaking to her in case she was hiding it well. Everybody was going mad in the audience and I was snapping pictures of the crowds and the boys playing their instruments on stage when Jessica rapped my shoulder.
"They're great!" She yelled over the noise so I could hear. I grinned and nodded before I took a photo of George while he played a guitar solo. I grinned when he make a stupid face and all the girl screamed louder. I laughed at him when he happened to look over at me and scrunched up his nose. I took a picture while he was still looking and he smiled cheekily. I turned my attention to Paul now as he went to sing the rest of the song. I snapped some photos of him and then some of Ringo since he was in the back. I got a bunch of group shots from the side, but it wasn't the same at ones from the front. I suppose I'd have to get some later.
When the concert ended the boys ran off the stage and Jessica threw her arms around John. I made a face as Paul and Ringo suddenly attacked me. They were pretty much my best friends next to Jessica.
Paul and Ringo were yelling and laughing and I could barely understand a word they were saying. I only laughed along; used to their randomness. I put both my arms around them and I leaned my head on Paul's shoulder. He kissed my forehead in a brotherly way and I heard George scoff loudly as he walked off with his guitar. I made a face after him and Ringo sighed loudly before he walled off after him. Paul pulled me over to Jessica and John who were talking.
"George is mad again." Paul mumbled. John scowled and rolled his eyes. Jessica scoffed and shook her head.
"I don't think he's mad, just slightly jealous." Jessica shrugged. I looked at her for a long time before Paul stole my camera and he put it around his neck. I rolled my eyes at him before I looked back at Jessica.
"So, why's George jealous and who exactly would he be jealous of?" I asked making a stupid face at Jessica and John. Paul suddenly started to whistle innocently and John laughed.
"You and Paul are really close," Jessica said. I gritted my teeth and refused to say something I shouldn't.
"George does not like me, Jess." I said carefully, "and even if he did, I don't like him. I have told you this over and over, but you can't seem to get it." Jessica simply shrugged it off and said something about dinner. I went to find Ringo and George.
I walked to the dressing room the boys were given and found the door open and the lights off. Next I checked the back door that the boys were using to go out and smoke since Jessica and I didn't like the smoke permeating the inside. It was propped open and I could hear Ringo and George talking.
"But she's just so attached to him!"
"So? Geo, you know that there's nothing between Charlie and Paul." I froze. I was suddenly thankful I didn't just walk out and have them stop talking...but now I had to listen to what they were saying.
GEORGE'S POV-
I saw Charlie put her head against Paul's shoulder and I sighed sadly. Why wouldn't she let me get that close to her? I put my guitar away in its case before I looked back to see Paul kiss Charlie's forehead. This was driving me crazy! I scoffed and stormed off. I needed a cigarette.
I walked outside around the back of the building and I lit a cigarette while I leaned against the wall. Ringo suddenly appeared at the door.
"What's going on, Geo?" He asked lighting a match for his own cigarette. I shrugged and looked at my feet. My Beatle boots were a bit scuffed up from our performance.
"Nothin," I muttered taking another drag. Ringo laughed liked I told a joke and I cocked an eyebrow at him, "what?"
"What? George its obvious you like Charlie!" Ringo said loudly. My eyes got wide and I looked inside to make sure no one was there to hear that.
"Alright, fine, yes, I like Charlie!" I whispered loudly, "a lot." I knew my cheeks were red, but Ringo didn't say anything about it.
"Well why don't you tell her, George?" Ringo asked casually. I sighed and rolled my eyes.
"Because it'll only end in total embarrassment." I said seriously, "She likes Paul, I'm sure of it. Besides, after the tour I won't be seeing her again." Ringo didn't seem to understand that.
"But Jessica is her best friend, and she and I are pretty close too. I'm sure you'll see her sometime, Geo." He said rolling his eyes. I shrugged and looked down again. I finished my cigarette and started to go back inside, but Ringo stopped me.
"She thinks you're upset with her you know." Ringo said seriously. I took a sharp breath in and turned back to him.
"But I'm not," I protested.
"Well every time you we her you leave!" Ringo said seriously.
"She's always with Paul though!"
"They're mates ,George!" Ringo said loudly.
"But she's just to attached to him!" I reasoned.
"So? Geo you know there's nothing between Charlie and Paul." Ringo said. I bit my lip and didn't respond. I didn't know what Charlie's feelings were for Paul, but I was positive she didn't like me. I told Ringo so and he scoffed.
"Please, Geo, she takes your picture the most. She watched you during the concert. Geo, she likes you! I can tell and so can John and Paul. How do you think she ended up in my seat on the plane?" He said naming a few more things, "She says she doesn't like you, but don't let what she says fool you. She likes you, she's just being stubborn." There was a strange sound that came from inside. I spun around quickly and then Ringo walked past me casually. We walked inside like we hadn't heard anything and we saw Charlie pretending to act normal.
"Oh, hey Charlotte!" Ringo said smiling. Charlie scowled at the use of her full name and I wrapped my arm around her shoulders just to see what she'd do. She was extremely tense as we started to walk, but she relaxed not long after her arm slid around my waist in return. She sighed and Ringo gave me a smug look as Jessica walked up to him.
"Johnny says he wants to go and get something to eat," she said putting her arms around him.
"Where?" Charlie asked grabbing my hand as it dangled off her shoulder. Her fingers were warm, and I looked down at her.
Paul shrugged, "I dunno, but John wants burgers." He put his arm around Charlie's waist and they walked toward where John was standing so they could talk. I scowled in Paul's direction before I grabbed my guitar case and walked out to the car that was waiting for us outside.
