The Fight with the Sith Guard

Steve looks at the solid, intimidating stance stature of the Sith Guard and then looks at the weakened state of the injured Jedi, realizing the battle about to be fought is unfairly matched.

That Sith Guard is right. She won't last long against him. I have to get him to draw his focus and attacks on me. But how?

Before Angela can make her next move, the Sith suddenly pushes with all of his physical strength against Angela's blade, causing her to stumble backwards and leaving her vulnerable to another attack. Fortunately Angela already accounts for this. The Sith rushes forward and starts to thrust his lightsaber towards Angela's torso. She quickly switches the hilt of her weapon to her left hand, parrying his attack while pulling back her fist and delivering a solid blow to the Sith's unguarded left side of his body.

The Sith catches himself before he falls flat onto the floor from Angela's punch, which allows for him to use his legs to sweep her feet out from under her. Her back hits the floor with a thud. She lets out a sharp yell as the sudden fall irritates her already sore ribs and leaves her open for yet another quick attack from the Sith.

He makes his move, calling upon the Dark Side to grab and raise her high enough so that her feet no longer touch the floor. He uses the Force to pry Angela's lightsaber from her right hand and also take off the other lightsaber from her belt, throwing them out of her reach both physically and with the Force.

Angela tries to use her own connection with the Force to slip from the Sith's grasp but to no avail. Her short fight, between the Sith and her injuries from her crash landing on this world, had drained her of the energy necessary for her to bend the Force to her will. She is at the Sith's mercy, if the Sith even knows the meaning of the word.

Even though mostly focused on Angela, the Sith still keeps a small part of his focus on keeping Tony and Steve pinned to the wall far behind him. Both of them watch as the Sith decides to throw Angela across the room. She flies over the island bar and hits the shelves full of whiskies and wines before hitting the floor behind the bar.

Steve knows that he has to get the Sith's attention now but doesn't know how to do it without the Sith catching on to his plan. Luckily for him, Tony already has a plan to distract the Sith from the Jedi.

"Hey Sithspawn! Since when is fighting someone who has some major injuries a challenge?"

The Sith shiftily turns around, his focus leaving Angela and honing in on the two men he had pinned against a wall. Tony continues his spiel, hoping that he can buy just enough time for him to think of another idea to let the Sith loosen his hold on him. Steve, on the other hand, is both for and against Tony distracting the Sith. Distracting the Sith would buy Angela some time to get out of the place, at least Steve hoped she would choose that option. However, Steve is against Tony's distraction because he knows that Stark will antagonize the Sith, which could provoke him to kill all of them without giving them a opportunity to stop the Sith in any way.

The Sith comes to stand a few yards from the subdued Steve and Tony. A flicker of anger had been kindled inside of him from Stark insulting his methods on completing his current mission.

He is either very egotistical or just purely stupid for insulting me. Either way, I will show him that I'm not a force to be reckoned with.

"If you think that I don't enjoy a challenge, then I shall gladly spar against the best fighter you have here." The Sith ceases pinning Steve against the wall, while taking off his metal mask and letting it fall onto the floor. "I know you've had some form of military experience. I can tell by your demeanor." The once masked face of the Sith is revealed and, of course, Tony has to take a jab at the Sith.

"From all of your knowledge in fighting and how you talk, I thought you would be a bit older, kid." Tony's words kindle the flame of hatred within the Sith.

The Sith, from what Tony and Steve could see, looks to be in his late teens, early twenties. He has Steve's medium blond colored hair that's as short as Tony's hair. Steve is close enough to see that the Sith is slightly short than him and possesses eyes that are tainted red like blood.

"I may be younger than you, but my maturity is past yours."

Steve couldn't help but chuckle at the statement, since it had a bit of truth in it. "He's got you there, Tony."

Tony rolls his eyes behind Steve's back. "Shut up."

The Sith slides his cloak off of his shoulders and balls his hands it fists. "I'll allow you to make the first move, soldier."

"It's Captain." Steve makes a fist and throws it towards the Sith's jaw, hoping that he can overpower the Sith, if that is even possible.

Angela slowly manages to push herself off the broken glass and scattered liquids on the floor. The scent of the drinks tells Angela immediately what the bottles once held. Alcohol. Sometimes I wish that it had an effect on me. It would certainly help numb the pain in my chest right now.

Ignoring the pain as best she can, Angela gently places both of her hands on the island and pulls herself up until she can just peer over the top. She notices that Tony is still pinned against the wall while the Sith is taking on Steve with only physical attacks. Angela also notices that the Sith is younger than she first thought. He looks like a teenager. Granted, I was recently a teenager myself but still. A shimmer of light catches Angela's attention. It's both of her lightsabers, which had been thrown to the opposite side of the room by the Sith. I'm going to have to duel wield to get the upper hand. Hopefully my injuries won't get to me. Angela minds how she crawls along the floor, careful to not touch the glass for her own safety and to keep her movement to the end of the island as quiet as possible. From there, she plans to call her lightsabers in to her hands and attempt to take the first swing at the Sith. She hopes that Steve will keep the Sith distracted long enough for her to make her move and end the fight.

Steve's uppercut misses its target which leaves him vulnerable enough for the Sith to land a jab on the right side of Steve's chest. Steve's quickly drops to the floor ducking under the Sith's swing and uses his legs towards the Sith's feet, causing the Sith to lose his balance and stumble to the floor. The Captain quickly kneels above the Sith, pulling back his fist to deliver a knock-out blow. He throws his punch, but it is caught in the young Sith's grip. Steve gasps at how fast the kid's reflex was to his punch and also to the strong grip that seems to continuously get tighter. A yell of pain escapes from Steve as he focuses his left hand to punch the Sith and hopefully, in doing so, the Sith will loosen his grip enough for Steve to use his right hand again. It too is caught by the Sith who can't help but mock Steve with a cocky smile that could rival Stark's.

"Too slow, old man."

Before Steve realizes it, the Sith calls upon the Dark Side and sends Steve flying through the air, only to be abruptly stopped and suspended mid-flight. He realizes that the Sith has immobilized him and suspended him into the air. He can't do anything but brace for whatever the Sith plans for him.

Using the energy from the Living Force, she puts both her hands on the island top, lifts herself to a crouching position on the counter, and then jumps off towards the dreadful Sith guard. Time slows for Angela while she is in mid jump towards her enemy. This advantage is little, but it is enough. While falling down towards the Sith, Angela calls both lightsabers off the ground and into her hands using the Force, raising them behind her head and igniting them while swinging them downward towards the Sith's head.

The Sith hears lightsaber blades ignite and takes action. He swings around, while swinging his sword to a position that was sideways, stopping both of the Jedi's blue blades. He looks at the Jedi, remembering the mission and forgetting about Steve as he send the Captain flying yet again towards the wall that Stark is still pinned to. He looks at the face of the Jedi and notices both a look of pain on face and sensing it…..…right in her lower ribs.

The Sith twists his red blade to his right, pushing the Jedi's blades also to his right. Angela's body leans towards the direction he pushed the saber blades. She is open for an attack. After pushing the Jedi's blades with the saber in his right hand, the Sith pulls back his arm while making a fist.

Sensing another attack, Angela tries to stand straight once more, while readying her lightsaber for another attack, but this time the Sith does not use his blade. The gloved left fist of the Sith flies swiftly and comes in contact with Angela's lower right ribs. The sound of the hit is followed by immense pain spreading throughout Angela's entire body. She lets out a muffled cry of pain as she falls flat onto the stone floor.

Angela tries to lift her injured body off the ground, but she does not have the strength to do it. Her arms give out and she falls back onto the stone floor. Her body can't get up fast enough. Even though she can't fight, she still has her lightsabers, switched off, in each hand. Well, at least I won't die… empty-handed.

The Sith thinks about whether or not he should continue to torment the injured Jedi or just kill her and finish the mission. He stands still with his lightsaber still ignited in his right hand. It does not take long for him to decide. Reaching down, he grabs Angela by her denim jacket collar and lifts her up high even to see the look of pain and defeat on her face.

Keeping her at his level, the Sith uses the Force to, once again, take the sabers from her and throw them a couple of feet out of her reach, by her hands and the Force. She feels a greater pain streak through her ribs as a moan of agony escapes from her lips. Knowing that the Sith is going to slice her with his crimson blade, she tries to free herself by grabbing onto the Sith's left wrist with both hands and twisting it so that he would be forced to let go of her. There is a slight problem with her plan. The one using the attack has to have a lot of strength to twist the wrist enough to cause pain to the enemy. Strength is something Angela does not have, even with the Force's aid.

Angela hears a low toned chuckle of pleasure. She looks over at the Sith's blade, which is moving backwards readying for a strike. No. That is her only word that echos through her mind.

The Sith starts to swing the blade at the Jedi he is sent to kill. All too easy. Suddenly, a very annoying voice speaks to him from far behind.

"Hey Sith, do you even remember what I said earlier?!"

The Sith hears the words and once again forgets his mission, leaving Angela to lie on the floor in agony. The Sith spins around to face the person who said such an accusation against his reputation.

Tony once again throws insults at the Sith to try to lure him away from the Jedi. "If Sith's honor their name so much, then how come you are trying to battle and kill someone who can barely stand on their own two feet, huh?"

The Sith anger rises inside of him again, and with that, so does his strength. He marches forward towards the two he holds against the wall while letting go of Angela who crumbles onto the floor. The Sith takes what this person has said to him as a challenge yet again. Pride is a very destructive trait in humans.

"I will enjoy teaching both of you to not get in the way of a Sith's business." He stops a mere foot from both of them, lightsaber out and ready to attack a now unpinned Tony and a fist fight ready Steve. "Ever."

The pain continues to grow inside Angela's body. I… can't.. take much….. more of…. this. She is right, and her body starts to react to save itself. Her connection to the Force starts to flux. Her mind is bending both sides of the Force together as one. Both the Light and the Dark.

The energy that stems from Anger, fear, and aggression blend with the energies of peace, tranquility and harmony .

No. Must not...attune to Dark...must...stop-

It was too late. Angela's mind completed the transformation. The transformation into the infamous Force-user named "The Halva".

Steve has positioned himself in a fighting stance, fists ready for attack. He eyes the Sith carefully, waiting for him to make the first move. The Sith makes his hands both fists, then wields them, twisting and turning them in a similar style to Kung-Fu. But, it's just a cruel trick as he slips one hand to his side and reactivates his lightsaber. He is finished toying with the both of them.

Steve flinches but keeps his fighting stance. Tony, who still can't call Jarvis or any of his suits, accidentally looks behind the Sith and sees that some of the injured Jedi's hair start to change in color. "What in the world?" He squints his eyes in an attempt to see what is exactly happening to the Jedi, lying on the ground.

The Sith spews out words towards Steve and Tony, frustrated because of Tony's insults and Steve immovable character. "Did you really think I can be beaten be mere punches and kicks?! No. I...am anger. I am pain. I am fear. I am...

The Sith's words trail off as the Sith looks at Stark, who's eyes are widening to something happening behind him. What is he looking at? There's nothing behind…..me. The Sith remembers the Jedi he had dropped to the floor. Impossible…..she was nearly dead when I dropped her! The Sith's anger, from the insults earlier, quickly turns to fear as he senses the Jedi's strength growing immensely. Then, he feels it. A shift in the Force. An odd shift in the Force. He senses that Light and Dark had become balanced behind him. That...this can't be. Realizing something is very wrong, the Sith turns around to face the broken Jedi he left on the floor; but who he sees is not the broken Jedi, but a standing conduit of the Living Force.

His hands move into a defensive position , as he looks on at the change Jedi. Some of her hair has changed in color. The pattern is first her normal blonde hair, golden and smooth, but the next color was quite the opposite. A section of her hair that is the same blonde is now a thick black, as if the each strand of the black hair is from a void of darkness like that of a black hole. A black steam-like vapor rolls off the black parts of her hair. The blonde parts of her hair, however, seemed to be brighter than before, as if each strand is a bright new-born star in a universe. This patterned continued all around her head: blonde, black, blonde, black, blonde, black, blonde, black, blonde, black, blonde. Her eyes have slightly altered as well. The blue tint in her eyes glows slightly.

Angela stands, facing the enemy. She slowly puts her right foot forward, then her left, edging closer and closer to the Sith. She looks very beat up and weak. Breathing heavily a few times, she tells the Sith what is about to happen to him.

"It's…time….you stop this….madness and fight…only…me." Angela tries to call her lightsabers to her, but is too weak to even do it. She instead slowly puts up her fists and readies herself. "Let's go."

Angela expects the Sith to blast her with a Force push or maybe take out his saber and throw it at her, but instead the unexpected happens. The Sith quickly backs away from Angela, but keeps both his eyes on her.

The Sith continues to back up when he says in a barely audible voice, "It can't be. It can't!" His voice is shaky, being full of fear. "The…..Halva?!"

Angela keeps walking towards him, taunting him every step backwards he takes. "Why are you backing up? Afraid of an injured Jedi taking you on?"

The Sith thinks quickly out what he should do . His youthful pride is telling him one thing, but common sense and fear are telling him another.

I must get out of here and report this to my Master. She might be the one he has been looking for. Plus, if the prophecies are true, I stand no chance against her, not in this form, even though she is injured.

Tony keeps standing where he is at while Steve decides to chase after the Sith. Odds are the Sith would be back later. Steve would much rather take him down and figure out what the Sith is planning to do. Steve runs past Angela, who is shouting at the Sith in hoarse whispers.

"Where …..are your runn…..ing to? Huh? Come…back here….and..finish…what you started." Angela's breathing suddenly becomes more quite. It's as if she has no energy left. All of the Force energy Angela is receiving is being used by her body to heal her broken bones and replace her dead and dying cells. All she can do is stand and watch the Sith make his escape.

Without his shield to throw, Steve is unable to stop the Sith in time. Steve watches as the hatch of the Tie-Fighter shuts with the Sith sitting inside. Steve furrows his eyebrows, making his face scowl in anger. All that he could do is stand there and watch as the Tie-Fighter lifts off the deck and takes off away from the building, while starting to blend into the backdrop of Manhattan.

After Tony sees that harm has escaped from the Tower, he notices Steve standing outside on the deck, watching the Tie-Fighter disappear into the distance. Suddenly, he looks for the Jedi and quickly spots her standing a couple feet from the broken window. Amazing. Simply amazing. Her hair changed and now has two colors to it. Beats dying your own hair I guess.

He walks towards Angela asking tons of questions in his mind about the Jedi and the Sith that tried to kill her.

How did her hair change color like that? Did that Sith follow her from a different galaxy? How she still alive from so much bodily damage? She's one tough woman. Wait, if she's a Jedi, can she read my thoughts? Like what I'm thinking right now?

Tony suddenly stops with his thoughts when he notices Angela 's stance start to weaken. Angela's strength from her own body is completely gone, and her body can't stay upright anymore. Gravity does its job as Angela starts falling backwards towards the floor.

Tony realizes this and breaks from a walking pace to a running one. He rushes behind Angela and catches her before her head makes contact with the floor. He puts both his arms under her back, keeping the upper half of her body slightly upright.

He lets out a sigh of relief. "That was too close." He looks into Angela's face. It's peaceful. Her eyes are shut to the world, and her breathing is barely audible, but it is there.

Turning from the city of Manhattan to inside the building Steve sees that Tony kneeling next to the Jedi and hurries back inside the building. He stops beside Tony's left and kneels to Stark's level. First, he looks at Angela's peaceful face, then at Tony's face.

"Is she?"

Tony is quick to respond. "She alive, but…" Tony takes his right hand and lifts up Angela's di-colored hair. "How? How did she change her hair like that almost instantly? I have read every Star Wars book that is canon and saw all the movies, but never, and I mean never, have I read of any Jedi doing that she did." He lets the strands of hair fall out of his hand as its tiny wisps of black and blonde concentrated light dissipate off of Angela's hair and into the air.

Steve adds his thoughts. "Maybe there are some things in this universe that you just don't know that exist, yet they are real." He looks out of the building and stares off into the distance. "At least that Sith is gone for now."

Tony looks up from Angela's face and stares out of the building with Steve. "Yeah….but he will come back. He isn't going to let her off easy." He pauses to reflect upon the words he just stated. " Sith are selfishly persistent. That much, I do know."

So yeah, i edited this. I don't know where it's better on not. Also, I'm working on crossing Star Wars with another fandom (I aint gonna saw what though. Gotta wait til it's posted lol) Take it easy everyone. I hope to keep writing, even though it's not consistent.
