Chapter nine-Girl talk

Derdia's POV

well it's official Kieth and Marcia are actually getting married.

Me: I cant believe you are actually getting married to the Kieth Partridge

Marcia:do you think I'm doing the right thing?

me:more importantly do you think you're doing the right thing?

Marcia:I don't know... I do love Keith but I'm still so young

Kieth walks up to us

Kieth:how are you two ladies doing?

Marcia plasters on a smile but I being her best friend I know it's fake

Marcia:we're doing just fine just talking about girl stuff and how happy I am to have my best friend here at my wedding

Me: well I'm so glad you want me to be here on your special day it's a lot earlier than I was expecting but true love always prevails. I haven't seen Marcia this excited since the time she met Davy Jones

Kieth:Marcia, I didn't know you met Davy Jones I met him maybe like two years ago pretty cool dude if I do say so myself, how did you meet him?

Marcia: I was planning the school dance with my dance committee and we are trying to think of entertainment and we couldn't think of anything that's when my sister Jan barged in and told me Davy Jones was coming to our town and I did everything I could to try and meet him and I snuck into the recording studio where he was recording that day and he overheard my conversation with his manager over the intercom and he came to my house to deliver his signed record personally and take me to the dance

Kieth:Marcia, no offense but that sounds like something that would only happen on a sitcom

Marcia:I swear that's what happened it was the grooviest thing ever well except for this but Keith I want to be really honest with you I-I uh...

Marcia keeps stammering and I can tell she's really stressing about this I'm about to cut in but then she thinks of something to say

Marcia:i'm just really happy that we're actually doing this hopefully our family can forgive us

Keith:i'm sure they will my mom always forgives what I do and your parents seem like pretty cool people and forgiving people. I just hope her siblings will understand

Me:Greg is here and he's starting to warm up to the idea so as soon as he's fully okay with the idea I think he'll talk to the other kids about it and warm them up to the idea if nothing else

Marcia:oh Greg's been really quiet lately i hope he's okay
