One-Shot #3: Teyvat's Dark Truth Revealed
This timeline takes place a few years into the events of Genshin Impact, showing some of the Elementalist's daily life.

Colton wakes up to the morning sunlight. Turning, he sees his fiancé: Ganyu fast asleep next to him.
'I'm glad Ningguang helped me convince her to take a paid vacation.'
Colton gets up out of bed, and heads to the kitchen to start cooking breakfast.
Colton hears someone walking into the kitchen and turns. There he sees Shenhe walking in.
"Morning Shenhe." Colton greeted.
"Good morning Colton." Shenhe greeted back.
"Is your oh-so-precious boyfriend still asleep?" Colton asked in a teasing tone.
"No, actually I'm quite awake, and I'd appreciate it if you let off with the teasing for once. It got old as soon as we all moved in together." Jin said as he walked into the room.
"Yeah, although it does make sense at the same time, considering that we traveled universes together while you were a duel spirit." Colton responds.
"Right. I'm still grateful that you used the Numeron Code to give me life again." Jin thanked him.
"No problem." Colton dismissed the thanking. "After all, ever since you became a Flesh-Eater, you faced nothing but pain. Now, you can finally live in peace. I'm sure that Laura would be happy for you." Colton said with a smile.
"I'll admit, it was a surprise learning about what exactly you are, but none of that matters, since we are together. You've helped me figure out how to feel emotions again, without the Curse of Calamity taking over, and I helped you move on from your grief. Now look at us, a couple." Shenhe said with a genuine smile looking at Jin.
"It's also very interesting how this family of ours is so diverse. With you being the only human." Jin said to Shenhe.
"That's right. With Ganyu being a Qilin, you being a Blade, and Colton is a Chaos Entity."
"So, what's on today's menu?" Jin asked, turning to Colton.
"Well, of course since Ganyu is part Qilin and can't eat meat, and Shenhe still has that habit of hers..." Colton paused as he and Jin turn to see Shenhe picking a few Qingxin petals from a nearby vase. Jin gave her a look and she stopped picking at the flower. "I've decided to make a special type of meal. Peach Pancakes, and Hash-browns."
"Sounds Delicious." Ganyu said as she walked in.
"Ah, good morning Sweetheart." Colton greeted.
Ganyu walked over to Colton and the two shared a kiss.
The two broke the kiss as Ganyu went over to the table to sit down, followed by Jin and Shenhe.
A few minutes later, Colton finishes cooking and lays the food on a 4 plates, placing 3 of them in front of the other residents of the house, and placed one at an empty spot, before taking that spot.
While they were eating breakfast, they decided to make small talk.
"So, what's on everybody's schedule for today?" Jin asked.
Ganyu then started to have a panicked look from hearing the word: schedule, her workaholic instincts kicking in, but Colton placed a hand on her shoulder, giving her a look reminding her she was on vacation.
"Ganyu and I were planning on visiting Cloud Retainer today." Shenhe replied.
"Since I have nothing going on, I'll join you. I'm sure that Cloud Retainer would like to meet me." Jin responded.
Ganyu then turned to Colton. "What about you Colton? Are you doing anything?"
"Actually I was planning on going down into Enkanomiya, there's a library there that I wanted to investigate." Colton responded.
"Right, your still investigating Paimon's disappearance." Jin said.
"She did just vanish so suddenly after I encountered Dain in Sumeru." Colton said with a confused expression.
Everyone got up form eating and started to get ready for the day, once they were ready, they were at the door.
"Good luck Colton." Ganyu said to him, giving him a hug.
"Alright, see you guys later. Chaos Control!" With that, Colton teleported out of the house.
Colton appears near the front of the Sangonomiya Shrine, looking down towards the whirlpool that leads to the underground land.
"Ah, Colton. It's good to see you."
Colton turns and sees Sangonomiya Kokomi walking up to him.
"Hello Kokomi. It's good to see you as well." Colton greeted back.
"What brings you here?" Kokomi asks.
"I was planning on investigating Enkanomiya, I've never had time to truly investigate the land since I had to deal with the Abyss Order causing problems."
"Alright. I would say 'good luck' but with your skill, I'm confident you'll be okay."
"Yeah. Well, I'll be heading down now. It was good seeing you Kokomi. Oh, also tell Gorou I said hi." Colton said as he jumped down to the whirlpool.
Colton was free falling head first through the shaft (vertical tunnel) leading to Enkanomiya, going faster and faster each passing second.
Suddenly, he goes into his Pseudo-Super form and curves so he flies right through the next tunnel leading further in without losing momentum.
Flying at high speeds through the tunnels of the Serpent's Bowels, Colton reaches the end of the Serpent's Bowels and stops flying to see the rest of Enkanomiya in its full ruined glory.
"Finally here. Now to find that library." Colton said to himself.
Colton flew over to The Narrows finding the library that rests there.
Colton lands in front of the library.
As Colton landed an Abyss Herald appeared from a portal, having activated their hydro armor with an abyssal darkness mixed in so Colton couldn't instantly negate it.
Sighing, Colton uses his vision to send out multiple vines at the Herald to bind it. Then he sent Ice energy through the vines, which froze the Herald solid.
Colton walks past the Herald and pushes it over causing them to shatter into a million pieces. Colton then made his way into the library.
Colton searches around looking for a book that stands out.
Colton walks over to a shelf in the back and sees a book that stood out from the rest.
"What the..."
Colton grabs the book from the shelf, and creates a chair for him to sit on while reading.
Colton opened the book and began to read it. Colton grew concerned as he continued to read the contents of the book, learning a lot about how Teyvat used to be.
"Seven Sovereign Dragons, I already know about them, I've met one. That being Apep... and this Primordial One, is a demon-like entity. This whole world is built on tyranny... no wonder Venti didn't fight back when Signora took his Gnosis, he knew didn't he."
Suddenly a portal appeared above Colton and he was dragged up into it.
Colton was thrown into the air from the portal but quickly landed on his feet.
He looked around and saw that he was in a strange place.
All around him was white pathways and pillars.
"This place seems familiar..." Colton said to himself.
Colton then looked ahead and saw a staircase.
Colton went into his pseudo-Super form and began to fly above the stairs following them.
Once Colton reached the top he landed. In front of him was a door.
'I recognize this place! It's the one from that reoccurring dream I had a few years ago! This is Celestia!'
As if on cue a diamond shaped portal opens up above the platform, and out walked the unknown god.
"Outlander! You time in this world has come to an end! For the sin of involving yourself in this worlds affairs and learning the truth, you shall be eliminated here and now! For I am the Sustainer of the Heavenly Principles!" She declared.
"Sin huh? I guess protecting this fragile world from both itself and outside threats is considered a bad thing by Celestia, then I guess I'm the biggest sinner on this planet." Colton said rather nonchalantly.
The Sustainer raised her arm and a red square formed under Colton.
Colton noticed and jumped away, just in time as a red cube formed from the spot he was standing.
Colton went Super right away.
The Sustainer then flinched and launched wave after wave of cubes at Colton, which he dodged all of them.
'Those cubes... they have an interesting energy to them... ah! They're a binding skill, not an offensive attack! But if She claimed that she'd kill me, why is she not using offensive attacks? I also saw her flinch when I turned Super. The only way for her to flinch is to have experienced my Super form first hand, but this is the first time I've seen her in person.'
Colton continued to dodge the cube waves, firing Chaos Spears to destroy some of them.
'Now that I think about it, she looks an awful lot like... Paimon.'
"Paimon is that you?" Colton questioned the Sustainer.
She then stopped, and looked down, shadow covering her face.
"You've figured it out so quickly... Paimon is but a fraction of myself that I sent out to watch over any Descenders that appear. Since you are the 5th Descender to arrive, I had my piece follow you to see if you were a threat. Thanks to the fact that I have all of my piece's memories, I know that you are a threat! After all, you are Forbidden Knowledge incarnate!"
The Retainer looked at Colton with a fierce glare.
She raised both of her arms and waves upon waves of cubes are launched at Colton.
Colton starts using electric energy to move faster than the waves dodging each of them.
"You may have gathered a lot of knowledge about me thanks to you having Paimon's memories, but I know that is also your weakness!" Colton countered.
"And how can that be my weakness?" The Sustainer asked.
"You can't bring yourself to actually hurt me! You remember all of the good memories, and all of the good I have done! I can tell by the way you are attacking, your conflicted. So, what do you believe is true!?" Colton shouts.
The Sustainer then stops. She floats down to the platform. Once she reaches it, she falls to her knees and breaks down crying.
Colton drops to base and starts to walk over to her.
Before he could reach her, a miniature Sky-Frost Nail went through the Sustainer's abdomen.
"No!" Colton shouts as he ran towards her as she fell limp.
Colton caught her before she hit the ground.
"C'mon stay with me."
The Sustainer held up her hand and used the last bit of power she could muster to call forth a weapon from her cubes.
The weapon was a sword, more specifically the sword used by the Abyss Princess' brother who was killed by the Sustainer.
"Take... the sword... free this...world." The Sustainer said with her dying breath as she finally died in Colton's arms.
Colton just sat there crying. "Why?! Why does everyone I care about have to die?!"
Many memories that Colton had of Paimon and him surfaced to the front of his mind.
Once Colton was done crying he grabbed the sword with his right hand and turned to look up and see who sent the miniature Sky-Frost Nail.
Colton widened his eyes seeing the entity before him, it was so... interesting, in such a way that it couldn't be described in words, he has never seen anything like it before.
"What are you?" Colton asked.
"I am what mortals call the Primordial One." The being answered.
Colton pointed his new sword at the Primordial One. "So your the tyrant who usurped the world before this one. May I ask: Why?"
"The world ruled by the seven Sovereigns was flawed and ugly. I simply erased it and created a new one in its place."
"How come the Multiverse Library doesn't record any information about Teyvat but rather only mentions it by name?"
"That's because I cut my world off from that... place." The Primordial One said the last part in disgust. "Unfortunately even with Irmunsul as a replacement core, the consequence of cutting it off was that this world became fragile, and thus Descenders could still enter this world, not to mention that any outside power is like poison to this world, poison the mortals call Forbidden Knowledge."
"So that's why this world is so fragile... why cut it off in the first place?" Colton asked.
"That Library continues to record information about everything, and even acts as a bridge between not only the universes of this multiverse, but all multiverses. I wished to have a world free of outside influence, which unfortunately I didn't get. I even tried my hardest to keep it out of Neosphere's grasp, which failed horribly as you can tell."
"So even you are afraid of Neosphere?" Colton asked with an eyebrow raised.
"Of course I am!" The Primordial One shouted. "I'm not like you, Chaos Entity! Your not even supposed to exist! Your kind and world was destroyed by Neosphere before the current Multiverses even existed!"
"Wait... my kind had a world that existed before the multiverses?"
"That is correct. It even pre-dates the creation of the Multiverse Library. In fact the Library was built on top of the ruins of the original existence."
'Is that what that basement hides?' Colton thought to himself.
"In fact, your very existence proves a threat to my rule. You are Forbidden Knowledge. You must perish."
Colton then takes a stance and launches at the Primordial One using wind to propel himself.
Colton immediately went Super out of anger. Swinging the sword, he tries to cut of the head of the Primordial One.
The Primordial One blocks with a sinister looking sword.
"Such a distasteful form you have. Luckily, my Sky-Frost Nails can nullify the effects of any power."
A Sky-Frost Nail was sent hurtling at Colton.
Colton met it head on and was pushing back against it.
"How are you holding it back? Your powers should be nullified in its presence!"
"That's because I won't give up! I have too much on the line! Plus with an infinite amount of energy within myself, I won't be put down!" Colton shouts as he continues to push back against the Sky-Frost Nail.
Colton then powers up to his Hyper form and performs a chaos spear.
The chaos spear breaks the Nail into hundreds of pieces.
Colton uses Psychokinesis to throw the pieces at the Primordial One.
The Pieces simply vanish before they reach him.
"Did you really think that my own creation could hurt me?" The Primordial One asked.
Colton started to swing his sword shooting out chaos energy slash waves with each swing.
The Primordial One swung his own weapon in response, sending out one big slash wave to counter them.
'This sword is more compatible with Chaos energy than my other swords, must be because it's not of this world... however I think I'll need the "god-slayer" in order to win this.' Colton thought to himself.
Colton stores his new Sword in his hammer space, and summons the multiverse's strongest sword: the True Monado.
The Primordial One gasps in surprise. "That weapon! How do you have that sword?!"
"It's because I've been tasked with holding onto it to use in situations like this. This sword can kill gods, and that is what I intend to use it for."
Colton charged at the Primordial One and swung the True Monado using only one hand.
The Primordial One clashes but his sword was cleaved cleanly in two.
The Primordial One was sent flying back as a result.
"THAT'S IT!" The Primordial One shouted. "You are going to die now!"
The Primordial One's body started to change, growing bigger and more grotesque until finally the Primordial One looked like some kind of monster. A monster that couldn't be described in words, something not to be comprehended by a regular mortal. This is the Primordial Beast.
'Ok... that is a problem. I didn't think that I'd need to go all out in this world... oh well. Time for the Elementalist to truly make an appearance.'
Seven different lights start to emerge from Colton's chest spreading around his body, while a white light starts to envelop him at the same time. A blinding light was formed.
When the light recedes it shows Colton's entire body, clothes and all, is now pure white. This is the True Elementalist.
True Elementalist form:
Attack power: Infinite
Defense power: Infinite
Info: the combination between the infinite power of the Elementalist form and the complete invulnerability of the Mastered Hyper form. The pinnacle of all power. Represents the last hope of the old existence and the will of the current existence.
Colton now at full power charges at the Primordial Beast.
"Your sins are unforgivable. For destroying a universe and subjugating another, your sentence is... death."
Colton grabs the True Monado with both hands and pours a lot of Chaos energy and Elemental energy into the sword.
"Monado... Judgement!"
With that Colton brought down the sword, cutting the Primordial Beast in two.
Colton dropped to Pseudo-Super and dismissed the sword.
The result of the attack caused the two halves of the Primordial Beast to fall onto Celestia and destroy it in an explosion.
All of a sudden the entire world below began to shake.
"That isn't good. The world became more unstable. What to do, what to do?... Ah! I need to connect Irmunsul with the Multiverse Library! Chaos Control!"
Deep below the world, the Dendro Archon: Buer or better known as Nahida was sitting down at the roots of Irmunsul when the world started to shake.
Suddenly Colton warped into view.
"Colton! What's going on!?" Nahida asks scared.
"Don't worry. Everything will be ok. I just have to expand Irmunsul's reach." Colton responded to her.
"Expand Irmunsul's reach? How are you going to do that?"
"With this." Colton said as a glowing blue card shaped object appeared in his hand.
"Numeron Code, you know what I wish."
The card flowed brighter as a portal appeared beside Irmunsul, with some of its roots expanding into the portal.
Then as quickly as it started, the shaking stopped.
"Colton... what did you do?" Nahida asked.
"I made it so the world is no longer so fragile. I connected Irmunsul: the core of this world, with the one thing that it was created to replicate: the Multiverse Library. Now Forbidden Knowledge is no longer poisonous to this world, and shall no longer corrupt anything."
"Forbidden Knowledge is no longer poisonous?"
"Yep, and Irmunsul can now access much more information than before. But be careful with what you view, as there are things in this existence that even gods shouldn't have knowledge about."
Suddenly Colton's vision started to glow, as well as his chest glowing 7 different colors.
Colton pulls the Elemental Pendant from under his shirt and sees the 7 Elemental Orbs glowing.
The glowing increased and once it died down the pendant changed.
Now it had another slot to fit an 8th orb in a formation of 4 on the right and 4 on the left rather than the original 3 on the right, 3 on the left and one in the middle.
Colton's vision was now gone and floating in its place was a dendro green orb.
Colton grabs orb.
"This is..."
"What is that? And why can I sense an impossible amount of dendro energy from it?" Nahida asks.
"I believe that I may know. This is, or rather was my vision. Since I connected this world with the rest of the current existence, the Multiverse must have finally recognized Dendro as an element and has to make an Elemental Orb. The Multiverse must've thought to have the closest source of dendro energy to the Orbs: my Vision."
"What does that mean exactly?"
Colton places the orb into the final slot before placing the Pendant back under his shirt.
"It means that the Dendro element is now an official element of the known Multiverse."
Time skip: 1 year later
It has been a year since Teyvat has been United with the Multiverse, currently there was a large gathering just outside of Liyue Harbor, on a special platform made to fit a lot of people.
Why are there so many people gathered there? Well for a wedding of course! The wedding between Colton the Elementalist and his fiancé, now Wife, the Adeptus Ganyu.
Colton was wearing a white tuxedo with designs all over depicting the 8 elements he can control.
Ganyu was wearing a beautiful white dress with some designs depicting her heritage as a Qilin.
There were people from not only all over Teyvat, but also from other universes as well.
One particular group was talking to the groom. This group was his friends from Alrest.
"I can't believe your getting married." Corvin, Colton's blade stated.
"Well I say it's about bloody time." Nia commented.
"Hahaha. Well I guess it's something that we've seen coming even without Mythra's foresight." Rex commented.
"Speaking of marriage, I still can't believe you married Pyra, Mythra, and Nia all at once, Rex." Colton said.
"Yeah, well I love all 3 of them, and I couldn't just choose." Rex said rubbing the back of his head.
"Actually where is Mythra?" Colton asked.
"Her daughter wasn't feeling well so she had to stay behind to take care of her. But she does send her regards." Pyra said.
"Oh, well it's too bad she couldn't make it. By the way, where are your two children?"
"Hang on let me call them. Mio! Glimmer! C'mere for a sec will ya!?" Rex called out.
Two young girls come running over, one who looked very much like a miniature Pyra and one that looked like a miniature Nia.
"Where were you two?" Pyra asks them.
"We were playing with Mr. Shulk's sons. Nikol and Noah!" The red haired girl, Glimmer said.
"Wait... Since when did Shulk have two kids?" Rex asked no one in particular.
"Noah's actually adopted." Colton stated.
"Oh. Well anyway, Mio, Glimmer. I'd like the two of you to meet your Uncle Colton. He's the one who just got married today."
"Your the one who married the pretty blue haired lady?" Mio asked with sparkling eyes.
Colton placed a hand on her head moving it back and forth between her ears. "I am. I've got to say, you two really do look like your mothers." Colton said with a smile.
"Hey! I want head pats too!" Glimmer complained.
Colton placed his other hand in Glimmer's head giving her head pats as well.
After talking some more the Alrest gang decided to split from Colton to talk to the other guests. Nia and Pyra walking over to talk to Ganyu specifically.
Colton heard footsteps near him and turned, there he saw an interesting group approaching.
The group consisted of Goku, Sonic, Yusei Fudo, and Luigi. A group of good-natured people.
"Hey there Colton!" Goku greeted.
"Hey everyone." Colton greeted back.
"You wouldn't believe the amount of people here that can ride the Nimbus. It's so cool."
"I've got to say, it's just like riding my Duel Runner but much faster." Yusei commented.
"Being here in this universe is cool, there's so much to explore. I'm kinda jealous that you get to live here." Sonic chipped in.
"Sonic's a-right, this world is amazing." Luigi said.
"Yeah, I'm glad I liberated this world from that tyrannical god."
The 4 good-natured friends walk away to talk to other guests while Colton makes his way over to Ganyu who just finished talking to Nia, Pyra, Melia, Fiora, Akiza Izinski(or Aki as Colton likes to call her, much to her annoyance) and a few others.
"Hey honey, how's it going?" Colton asked as he walked up to her.
"This has been the best day ever, I'm so glad to have met you and to be married to you." Ganyu said as she was admiring her wedding ring.
The newly wed couple have unique wedding rings. These rings are made of pure solidified Chaos energy, and have been designed to look similar to the Chaos Emeralds.
Colton looked directly into her eyes for a moment before turning and looking up at the sky.
"Honestly, I'm just happy that things turned out this way. Before arriving in this universe, I was in a not so stable mental state. I felt so disconnected from everything that I felt like I couldn't belong anywhere. That all changed when I met you. Someone who understood that feeling."
"Right. I remember that you mentioned understanding the feeling of not fitting in when we had that little adventure together before we started dating."

The two then turn and see a bunch of children hanging off of Jin and Shenhe, with little Mio on Jin's shoulders. Jin and Shenhe were both smiling while playing with the kids.
The two then look into each other's eyes again, but this time they lean in for a kiss.
Once they break the kiss, they hear cheering.
The couple turns and see everyone looking at them cheering them on.
The two smile and walk towards the rest hand-in-hand.
Now, the sun shall rise for a new future.
