I want to propose to my girlfriend of a year. What can I do to make it special?

I have been with my girlfriend (24) for just about a year now. And I want to propose to her and have it be the best proposal ever, because she deserves it. She's gone through a lot of shit in the last couple of years and she deserves the world. Give me your ideas for the best proposal, so I don't fuck this up for her.

Notes: I have no doubt you guys will leave him all sorts of ideas. I wonder if anyone will guess the one I already have written (Di, Meg, Kate and Ciara can't guess lol)
