[ Saffron City - Fighting Dojo ]

Nestled between towering skyscrapers and busy street markets was an old dojo. The front of the dojo was immaculately clean, thanks to the efforts of the Old Master who was currently sweeping the entrance with a worn broom. His face was covered in bandages.

As the Old Master swept, he couldn't help but think about his sons; Trodaire and his brothers, who had set out on their Pokemon journey just a few hours ago. They had been inspired to leave the dojo after seeing the dominance of Austin and Yellow. The Old Master couldn't help but feel a mix of pride and sadness as he thought about his boys leaving the nest. He had always wanted them to find their path in the world and not be held back by the dojo and now with the money that Austin has given them, they wouldn't have to worry about the dojo being repossessed by the league.

( ~ Sweep ~ )

The sweeping sound echoed through the quiet streets as the Old Master continued his work. Suddenly, he heard a voice calling out to him. "Excuse me, is this the Fighting Dojo?" The Old Master turned to see a group of parents approaching him, their children in tow.

"Yes, may I help you?" The Old Master asked, a hint of confusion in his voice.

"I would like to register my daughter here," the first parent said, gesturing to a young girl by their side. The other parents quickly chimed in, expressing their interest in enrolling their children in the dojo.

The Old Master was taken aback by this sudden influx of interest. "Is there something wrong, Sir?" one of the parents asked, noticing the confusion on the Old Master's face.

"No, it's just that people don't normally come to this place," the Old Master replied, still trying to process the sudden change in the dojo's fortunes.

"Ah! We understand, if we hadn't seen that video about this place, we would never know such a place existed," another parent said.

"Wait, what video?" The Old Master asked, his curiosity piqued.

"Oh, sir didn't you post it? These two teenagers were fighting and after seeing that I thought that self-defense would be great for my children. So, can I ask if the admissions are still open?"

The Old Master was left more confused than ever, but he would soon find that Austin had posted clips of his fights on the internet that went viral and brought attention to the dojo.

As he welcomed the new students and their parents into the dojo, the Old Master couldn't help but think about his sons and the journey they were embarking on. He knew that they would face many challenges along the way, but he also knew that they were more than ready to take on whatever came their way.

"Wherever you are, boys? Remember that a home will always be waiting for you, here," the Old Master thought to himself as he gazed upon the new students.

[ Pallet Town ]

The news has been getting interesting these days. Aside from the usual petty crimes and Rocket behavior, for the past week, everyone had been talking about a discovery that had rocked the entire world as a team under Bill Montgomery's lead at Grandpa Canyon. It seemed as though there were a hundred stories about what happened and who was involved.

Back in Pallet Town, Professor Oak was sitting in his study, the room dimly lit by a desk lamp and the soft blue light of the television set. The room was lined with bookshelves filled with tomes on every subject imaginable. He was watching the news intently with a look of absolute shock on his face.

The newscaster, Alyssa Winters, stood in front of a large banner that read "Grandpa Canyon Discovery - A New Era for Pokémon!" She was dressed in a smart suit and held a microphone in her hand. Behind her, a group of people could be seen milling around the site, some taking measurements and others examining the rock formations.

"Hello, welcome to the 9 o'clock Kanto News. My name is Alyssa Winters. Our top story today is related to the Grandpa Canyon Discovery that occurred a week ago last Tuesday. For those of you who need a recap, a team under Bill Montgomery made a huge discovery in the digging site known as Grandpa Canyon, which was becoming famous for its abundance of prehistoric fossils. The discovery made by the Team led the world to see the light of the Era of Prehistoric Pokémon who had survived and lived in an underground system of caves under Grandpa Canyon. Now we are living with the Vice Captain of the Team, Jeffery Simmons. Jeffrey, is there something you would like to say?"

Professor Oak listened intently as the Vice Captain of the team, Jeffrey Simmons, described the discovery in detail. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. Prehistoric Pokémon still existed! It was a dream come true for him.

The sound of his phone ringing brought him out of his reverie. He picked up the phone, seeing that it was Bill Montgomery, the lead of the team.

"Congratulations, I must say never did I think I would live to see the day such a discovery was found." Professor Oak said into his phone.

"Thank you, Professor," Bill replied before the sound of something hitting a slab of metal caused Professor Oak to tense up.

"Bill, are you alright? Where are you?"

"Yeah, I am alright. I am currently in my lab running some tests on a Pokémon," Bill replied.

"Oh, why aren't you at Grandpa's Canyons? Is it due to the protests from those cultists or the trainers who want to capture a prehistoric Pokémon?"

"None; actually, I only organized a team to be sent out. I haven't left my lab in days," Bill said, his voice tinged with a hint of sadness.

"...Really? I am surprised. Weren't you obsessed with Prehistoric Pokémon in your younger days?"

"Let's just say I have more important matters to deal with. I'll call you back, Professor," Bill said.

" Got it, Bill can you ask Ash to give me a call? I have something important to discuss with him."

" Got it."

[ Vermilion City - Bill's Lighthouse

The lighthouse was a tall, imposing structure that stood on the edge of the city, overlooking the ocean. The sun was setting and the sky was painted in hues of orange and pink, casting a warm glow on the lighthouse. Inside, the laboratory was bustling with activity. Bill, was surrounded by various pieces of equipment and tools, all designed to help him in his quest to revive prehistoric Pokemon.

Bill was dressed in a lab coat, his hair disheveled from a long day of work. He was holding a syringe in his hand, carefully examining its contents. He took a deep breath and approached the tranquilized Aerodactyl that was lying on a table in the corner of the lab.

The sound of Bill's footsteps echoed through the lab as he approached the table. He placed his phone on the table, before turning to the side.

"Don't worry buddy, this is for your safety," Bill said as he approached Aerodactyl. He carefully inserted the syringe into its leg, injecting the contents.

The Aerodactyl's immune system was extremely vulnerable to present-day viruses and bacteria, so Bill was going through the procedure of giving artificial passive immunization to Aerodactyl to protect it.

Stroking its maw, Bill smiled with a few tears building up in his eyes. It was always his dream ever since he was little to see an Aerodactyl in real life. Even after witnessing the first-ever successful test of bringing back a fossil, Bill couldn't say that he had accomplished his dream because 65% of the DNA used to revive a fossil was made from DNA samples collected from modern-day Pokemon that had an ancestral lineage to Aerodactyl.

Maybe it was the perfectionist in him, but he discounted that meeting as an accomplishment of his dreams. But now, he had truly accomplished the dream he had after witnessing the old prehistoric Pokemon display in Pewter City.

"Hmm, I wonder what Ash is doing right now?" Bill thought to himself as he watched the Aerodactyl begin to stir.

[ Matcha Town ]

The small rural town of Matcha was nestled between the bustling metropolis of Cinnabar Island and the picturesque Fuschia City. Despite its idyllic location, surrounded by lush green hills and sparkling blue oceans, the town was often overlooked by trainers in search of more exciting adventures. The older generation of residents was content with the peaceful existence their town offered, but for some, like Dr. Akihabara, the monotony of daily life was suffocating.

Dr. Akihabara was a young scientist who had been scouted by the legendary Bill and the esteemed Professor Oak to assist in the creation of the revolutionary Pokemon transfer system. But his ambitions didn't stop there. Dr. Akihabara had a dream of creating an artificial Pokemon, a dream that was met with disdain and condemnation from his colleagues. Without funding or support, he was forced to continue his work in secret, his obsession with the project causing him to become more and more isolated from the rest of the scientific community when they found out, Dr. Akihabara was swiftly kicked out of the team.

As his funding dwindled, Dr. Akihabara was forced to return to the town he had grown to loathe, working as a part-time repairman to make ends meet. On this particular night, as he trudged home through the quiet streets, the wind whipping through his green, spiky hair and the light of the moon glinting off his swirling glasses, he couldn't help but feel a sense of defeat.

As he approached his apartment building, he fumbled with his keys, only to find that the door had been left ajar. Puzzled, he pushed it open and stepped inside, flicking on the lights. But what greeted him was not the familiar sight of his sparsely furnished living room, but a figure sitting calmly on his couch, a sinister smirk on their face.

"Welcome back, Dr. Aki." The figure spoke, their voices were cold and menacing. Dr. Akihabara's heart pounded in his chest as he realized the gravity of the situation. He was not alone in his apartment, and the intruder was not there to welcome him home.

Dr Akihabara couldn't help but gulp as he gazed upon the figure sitting on his chair with an Abra floating besides him. The mysterious individual had his face covered with a dark mask, while wearing gloves and a greyish yellow trench coat that was worn and tattered from years of use. The coat was adorned with various pockets and straps, with a large bulge on one side suggesting that the stranger was carrying a weapon of some sort. The Abra floated beside him, its psychic powers emanating a faint glow, as it telepathically communicated with its master.

If anything, the guy looked like one of those 90's detectives, straight out of a Noir film. The room was dimly lit, with only a small lamp providing light. The walls were adorned with various posters of Pokemon and scientific formulas, while the floors were cluttered with notes and papers. The smell of stale coffee and mold hung in the air, as the sound of raindrops tapping against the windows filled the room.

The stranger was reading through notes that Dr Akihabara had left on the ground, his eyes scanning the pages with precision and speed. Meanwhile, Abra looked at the scientist in disgust. 'Why isn't he dead living in this dump? Don't tell me, he is like those lizard people I keep hearing about that control the world ... no, he must be different, (gasp) he is a cockroach person that is secretly controlling the government.' Abra thought as he psychically picked up a pen and paper before writing on it. He needed to record this discovery before he was taken out.

Ignoring the conspiratorial Abra, the stranger looked up from the notes as Doctor Akihabara demanded. "Who are you? How did you get in?" Dr Akihabara was thinking who was this stranger and what did he want with him? It wasn't like he had any money and his fame had long since faded to obscurity for five years until he could perfect his research on the Porygon Project.

"Apologies, the door was open but I did knock before entering," The man said with a very subtle voice modulation. His voice was low and gruff, with a hint of an accent that Dr Akihabara couldn't quite place. "Clearly no one told you that an unlocked door isn't an invitation to enter." Dr Akihabara said with sweat dripping down his face as his paranoia was getting to him. "I don't have any money on me and you can tell from my living conditions that I am barely living above the poverty line. So, you can just leave and I won't tell the police, I promise as long as you don't hurt me."

Dr Akihabara's words caused the stranger to speak up. "Doctor Akiba Akihabara, I'm not here to steal your Ponyta, I've come to make you an offer." The mysterious man said. "I've got ties to an influential organization that wants to use someone with your particular set of skills." The stranger reached into his coat and pulled out a small card with a logo that Dr Akihabara didn't recognize. "Here's my contact information. Think about it, and give me a call if you're interested."

"Not here to steal my Ponyta, you say..." Dr. Akihabara pondered for a while. "Interesting choice of... words." He said "You must be a Pokemon lover like me." The stranger nodded, a small smile on his face. "They do fascinate me, like most living beings do." The mysterious man replied with a nod of his head. "I'm a firm believer that life… no matter the adversity it faces, always finds a way

Dr. Akihabara gave him a wide smile.

"Apologies for my previous rudeness. It's been a while since I spoke with another man of science. Please, do elaborate further on your offer."

"I will be straight with you Doc, my

organization is beyond puzzled as to how

someone with your résumé of

achievements has escaped its radar for so

long." The masked man handed him a phone that the doctor inspected for a moment.

" Our offer is to hand you the necessary funds and the adequate equipped facilities to aid you in your research for the digital pokemon, in return you will provide us with the pokemon. Of course, you will still receive all

the accolades and admiration a genius of

your caliber deserves, but we will be

expecting you to present Porygon to us first."

"Do I look like someone that requires a

strong backing?" Dr. Akihabara asked, this

time with less aggressiveness in his voice.

"You see, I'm nothing if not resourceful

and crafty."

"But that's exactly the point of my visit."

The mysterious man replied. "Alone by

yourself, you've already gone this far. Just

imagine what new discoveries you might

accomplish with the best equipment

money can buy and with a steady supply

of test subjects. Besides…" The mysterious

man said while grabbing something from his trench coat. "Consider this a sign of good faith."

Dr. Akihabara widened his eyes in surprise. "It

is… it is…"

" While, I don't know if you would accept our offer but I can't help but frown that a man of your talents has to struggle in this world just because of your ambitions." The

mysterious man replied as he handed a stack of 10,000 pokedollars to the shell shocked doctor. "My organization has the necessary abilities to give you the life you truly deserve."

"I-I…" The Doctor muttered as the years

he spent isolated perfecting his work

seemingly returned to him. "I thank you for this, it really means a great deal to me."

"Don't mention." The mysterious figure replied as he moved to leave the place.

"You should be receiving a more formal invitation through that phone I gave you. If by some reason you still end up deciding to not work with us, I wish you farewell."

The man stopped. "Oh, and don't worry about your rent, the last six months have already been paid. Consider it one last incentive, my organization is really invested in making business with you. You can use that money to get yourself something nice."

As he was left alone, the scientist with delusions of grandeur finally stopped to consider his current situation and decided that it was time to change.

Abra glanced at the Doctor before he teleported both the man and himself to Saffron City.

[ Saffron City - Pokemon Center ]

The bathroom was small and cramped, the tiles on the floor were chipped and stained, the paint on the walls was peeling and the lightbulb flickered. The mysterious man appeared in the bathroom, his face obscured by a hooded cloak. He stood there for a moment, before his face began to melt and drip like wax, revealing Austin's smiling face underneath. As the goo transformed back into an exhausted Ditto, Austin stroked the Pokemon's head and said, "You did great out there, buddy." Ditto leaned into Austin's arms before falling asleep.

Austin smiled at the sleeping Ditto and Abra, who was floating beside Austin, asked telepathically, { Are you sure that cockroach man would accept your offer ? }

Austin replied, "He will." Abra asked again,

{ Why ? } Austin hesitated for a moment, "Because I gave him a glimpse of way to succeed in his ambitions." Austin said with a little uncertainty in his voice since Dr Akihabara was able to make two porygons in the anime and after some calculations, it would have taken a month or so for present day for the doctor to have completed a Porygon.

Whether the doctor accepts his offer or not was of no concern to Austin as he could just steal Porygon when it was completed. Austin took a deep breath as he looked at himself in the mirror. He was wearing a black suit with a red tie, his hair was neatly combed and his eyes were filled with determination. He wondered what had happened to him, a few months ago the thought of stealing, violence and manipulation to accomplish his goals wouldn't be an option, but now look at how he had turned out. Life truly is unpredictable.

As Austin opened the bathroom door, he was greeted by the sight of all of his Pokemon and yellow, who were all watching some kind of movie. The room was dimly lit and the sound of the movie was playing in the background. Austin's Pokemon were all sitting on the floor, their eyes fixated on the screen, and Yellow was sitting on the couch, her eyes also fixated on the screen. Watching everyone's peaceful faces, Austin couldn't help but smile. He thought to himself, "Maybe this is what it's all about, peace and happiness."

As he walked over to the couch and sat down beside Yellow, he couldn't help but feel content. The sound of the movie, the peaceful faces of his Pokemon, and the company of his friends. This is what life is all about, he thought to himself as he sat there, watching the movie and enjoying the moment.

Yellow stood in the middle of the clearing, her eyes fixed on the approaching Scizor. The stoic Pokemon was known for its lightning-fast movements and incredible strength, and Yellow was determined to take it down. She yelled out to her trusty Dratini, "Iny, use extreme speed!" Dratini obediently shot forward, its slender body blurring as it gained speed. But just as it was about to strike, Scizor raised its massive pincers and swung them with tremendous force, punching Dratini right in the face and knocking it out.

Scizor bowed before turning to the quiet Austin, who was intently reading a message on his PokeNav from Dr. Akihabara. Lucario, lounging on the ground beside Rhyhorn, called out, "Oi, idiot, you have won."

What does a steel rock taste like?

Rock is tasty, so steel rock is also tasty.

Rhyhorn, meanwhile, was contentedly munching on a pile of rocks, its beady eyes staring off into the distance.

Austin simply nodded in response, causing Scizor to bow respectfully in his direction.

Chu-Chu and Pikachu frolicked on Rhyhorn's back, their playful tag game causing the bulky Pokemon to shake with laughter. In the trees, Fearow and Pidgeot were engaged in a berry seed shooting competition, with poor Butterfree serving as the target. Suddenly, an older trainer approached the group and asked, "Excuse me, do you want to battle?" Austin, always eager for a challenge, readily agreed.

The old trainer sent out a Golem, and Fearow and Pidgeot jumped down from the trees to prepare for battle. "Ah, sorry, but I don't do double battles," the trainer apologized. Austin nodded understandingly and said, "Guys, there can only be one." Fearow and Pidgeot looked at each other, each eager to prove themselves as the stronger Pokemon. But before they could argue further, Austin cut in and said, "Whoever won last night's chess match will participate in the match." Pidgeot clicked her tongue in frustration and flew back up into the trees, while Fearow puffed out his chest, his eyes shooting daggers at Austin for revealing his secret.

The older trainer counted down, "Three, two, one," and the battle began.

The battle had come to an end, with Fearow emerging victorious over the Golem. The older trainer looked on in awe, his mouth forming a strained smile as he took in the sheer power that Austin and Fearow possessed.

"You are a powerful trainer," he said, his voice filled with admiration.

"Thank you," Austin replied politely, his voice steady as he gazed at the man.

Lucario, who had been watching the exchange, glanced at Austin, sensing something was off.

"I can see that you have a Butterfree," the older trainer said, his eyes resting on the butterfly Pokémon. "Are you here for its mating season?"

The words hit Austin like a freight train, causing him to freeze in place and clench his hands. Yellow, who had been silent up until now, looked at the man with confusion written all over her face.

"What do you mean?" she asked.

"Freeee?" Butterfree questioned as well, its large eyes filled with wonder.

The older trainer chuckled, "The Butterfree mating season is around this time of year. Trainers from all over the Kanto region gather around a cliff near here and let their Butterfree find their true love."

Yellow's eyes widened as she took in this new information. Austin, on the other hand, was struggling to keep his emotions in check, his mind warring with the thought of letting Butterfree go. He had always wanted to give his Pokémon the chance to find love and start a family, but at the same time, he didn't want to be parted from the butterfly Pokémon that had been by his side for so long.

"That's right," the older trainer continued. "Your Butterfree is certainly destined for great things, whether it be battling or starting a family of its own. Considering how close you are with Butterfree, I know you will find out what it's real calling in life is."

With that, the older trainer bid them farewell, leaving Austin and Butterfree looking at each other with a mix of sadness and uncertainty. Yellow, meanwhile, felt a wave of sadness coming from Kitty's Pokéball, her frown deepening as she realized the gravity of the situation.

As the group walked towards Celadon City, they soon saw a huge group of Butterfree flying around in the air near a cliff that overlooked the ocean. There were also several balloons hovering in the air around all the Butterfree.

"The Butterfree mating season," Austin mumbled to himself once again as he and the rest of the group continued along the path.

"Pika Pi?" Pikachu questioned its trainer.

"Hey, Pikachu. If you were a Butterfree, what would you want to do? Start a family or stay with me?" Austin asked the rodent while his lips quivered.

"Idiot, you aren't going to get your answer from Pikachu," Lucario told him. "Each different Pokemon want different things. The only way you are going to get your answer is from Butterfree itself."

"Right. It's just hard to imagine what it would be like if I didn't have Butterfree," Austin muttered.

"Butterfree! Come on out!"

Butterfree appeared and looked at its trainer expectantly.

"Hey, Butterfree. I was wondering if you would like to join that group of Butterfree over there. I bet your partner is waiting for you somewhere in that group. Why don't you go take a look?" Austin asked his Pokemon while Kitty's shock caused the Alpha Beedrill to appear and she looked absolutely sad while gazing upon Butterfree who expressed his worry. Seeing Butterfree's worry, Kitty felt ashamed of herself.

She wanted to confess her love for Butterfree and make him stay with her. But seeing the worry in his eyes, caused Kitty to remember that someone like Butterfree who was so strong and so kind needed someone better than her.

" Beeee !" Kitty wished Butterfree good luck before going back into her PokeBall while Yellow looked concerned for her partner.

"Freeeee!" Butterfree said before flying off towards the others.

"Hey. I was thinking. Why don't we rent a balloon and watch like the other trainers are doing?" Austin suggested causing Yellow to nod as she tried to emotionally connect with Kitty via her powers.

A few minutes later, the group rented one of the large, hot-air balloons and joined all the other trainers in the sky. Austin didn't have much difficulty figuring out which Butterfree was his even though there had to be over one hundred Butterfree flying around the area. They didn't have to wait for too long, however, as Butterfree came back to the balloon soon afterward.

"Hey, Butterfree. How did it go?" Austin asked.

Butterfree bowed its head a little sadly in response which caused Austin to feel joy.

"Oh, I see. There weren't any Butterfree over there that seemed to catch your interest," Austin figured.

Butterfree nodded its head in response.

"I'm sure your future mate is out there, Butterfree. You just haven't met it yet," Austin reassured it. "We can always try again next year."

"Pika Pika," Pikachu said to comfort its friend.

Butterfree was about to allow itself to return to the Pokeball when it happened to give one last look at the group of Butterfree and froze. In the distance, it saw the most beautiful Butterfree it had ever seen just join the other Butterfly Pokemon. It was a bright pink, and Austin's Butterfree was instant love-struck.

"Freeeeeeee!" it cried happily as it seemed to get hearts in its eyes

The group noticed where it was looking and Austin's heart sank.

"Ah, I see. That pink Butterfree has captured your interest it seems," Lucario commented.

"Freeeee!" Butterfree nodded.

"I've got something that might make you stand out from the other Butterfree," Yellow said as she took out a yellow ribbon from her backpack and tied it around Butterfree's neck.

Butterfree smiled in approval at what Yellow had done.

"Well, what are you waiting for Butterfree?! Go get your girl!" Yellow shouted enthusiastically but suddenly stopped when she sensed Kitty's sadness.

Butterfree gave a nod and flew off towards the pink Butterfree.

Once Butterfree reached the pink Butterfree, it began to do dances around the pink Butterfree and show off its moves. The pink Buttefree, however, didn't appear impressed at all. Every time Butterfree would do something in an attempt to impress it, the pink Butterfree would turn away. Finally, for Austin's Butterfree to get the message, the pink Butterfree gave it a harsh slap across the face. The group saw this and immediately got a frown on their face meanwhile Austin felt like murdering the pink bimbo. How dare she not see Butterfree's handsome charms?

Austin's Butterfree looked crestfallen as its eyes began to water. It then flew off into a nearby forest in shame.

"Oh, man. Poor Butterfree," Yellow said sadly before frowning as she felt happiness not only from Kitty but also from Austin as they watched Butterfree fly off.

"I feel like Brock would know his pain," Yellow said as the group then moved their balloon toward the forest and landed next to it. Then they entered the small piece of wood and began to search for Butterfree.

Since the patch of woods wasn't very large, it didn't take them too long to find Butterfree. They spotted it on the ground with its back turned to them with its head bowed.

"Hey, Butterfree. I'm sorry about what happened," Austin told it sympathetically.

"Freeee," Butterfree said sadly as it hung its head any lower.

"I know it probably hurts a lot to be rejected," Austin continued gently, "But you can't let that get you down. There are plenty of other Butterfree out there."

" Idiot, don't do that. The thing is that Butterfree had love at first sight so it naturally pictured a future with the pink Butterfree. Telling it there are plenty of Butterfree out there doesn't do it any favors. It just had its heart broken by the one Butterfree that caught its eye. You won't ever know how it's feeling until you go through something like that yourself," Lucario said causing Austin's eyes to narrow.

" Lucario, don't spout out nonsense you don't know anything about," Austin replied while the anger in his aura caused Luacrio to keep his mouth shut.

"Well, excuse me," Lucario said.

Yellow watched the scene as she thought to herself what it would be like with her and Ash in the future. It was no secret to a lot of people that she had a crush on him. She also knew she couldn't keep her feelings inside forever and would have to tell him eventually. How would he react if she were to tell him her feelings? Would he return them or reject them? She didn't think she would be able to bear it if Ash didn't return her feelings.

Deciding to try for herself, Yellow went over to Butterfree next and knelt next to it. "I know you probably feel terrible that your one true love rejected you. It's probably one of the worst feelings in the world," Yellow told it sadly, receiving a nod from the butterfly Pokemon.

" You are a great Butterfree and a great Pokemon in general. Don't ever think you aren't good enough for any Butterfree. They would be lucky to have you," Yellow said smiling at it.

Butterfree looked up hopefully at Yellow but still looked somewhat upset.

Yellow looked at Kitty's PokeBall and telepathically said.

' This is your chance, girl, come out and confess your love.'

' No, he deserves better.'

' Who is that then ?'

' Someone other than me.'

Kitty's words caused Yellow to frown as Lucario suggested

" Hey, Butterfree! What do say we help you get the pink Butterfree's attention?"

"Freee?" it asked hopefully.

"Of course! We'll all help you! Right, guys?" Yellow asked, receiving a nod from everyone else.

Austin suddenly stood up while thinking ' Austin, Stop acting like a bitch and help your buddy get laid.'

Austin exclaimed," I think a good way to impress the pink Butterfree is to show off your String Shot. Why don't you try to maneuver your String Shot into various patterns? Show us what you've got!"

Butterfree nodded its head and unleashed its String Shot attack. It started as just an ordinary String Shot, but Butterfree soon began to move it around and began to form many different designs, ranging from webs to even an image of a Butterfree. The group was surprised at how talented Butterfree was while Austin was proud while he thought.

' If this doesn't get the panties off, I don't know what will.'

Austin chuckled while Pikachu looked at him weirdly.

What was there to laugh at?

"Now try to sprinkle all of your designs with your powder," Yellow suggested.

Butterfree then let loose its powder on all of the String Shot designs it made causing them to sparkle. Austin thought that if ever given the chance, Butterfree would do excellent in Pokemon contests.

"You were amazing, Butterfree!" Yellow praised it. "If you show this to the pink Butterfree, it will no doubt love it!"

The group then left the woods and headed back to the cliff overlooking the ocean. It didn't take them long to see the pink Butterfree again flying around idly amongst the other Butterfree.

" You can do it, Butterfree," Austin encouraged while he clenched his fists, "Just remember what you did in the forest."

Butterfree nodded and flew back towards the pink Butterfree. The pink Butterfree saw it coming once again and turned its head away to show it had no interest whatsoever in Austin's Butterfree.

Butterfree didn't let that upset it, though. It began to shoot its String Shot attack into the sky in different designs. Once it was finished, it sprinkled some of its powder over the String Shot. The result looked very beautiful. It then looked expectantly at the pink Butterfree.

The pink Butterfree studied the artwork for a moment before turning its head away once again. Butterfree's eyes began to water once again.

"Poor Butterfree," Yellow said.

The pink Butterfree then flew away towards the ocean and landed on a small rock just above the water for some peace and quiet. Butterfree looked on sadly, but it soon cried out in alarm once a Tentacruel leaped out of the water and cornered the pink Butterfree.

Goddamnit, why?

Austin questioned as he witnessed the scene.

Butterfree sprang into action and flew as fast as could toward the endangered Pokemon. Yellow was about to call out some commands for Butterfree to use but was stopped by Lucario.

The Tentacruel was too occupied with the pink Butterfree to notice the other one charging straight for it. Butterfree collided with the back of Tentacruel as hard as it could. Tentacruel stood dazed for a moment before shifting its attention to Butterfree.

The butterfly Pokemon gave a glare at the Tentacruel as if telling it to back off.

The Tentacruel did not comply, however, and shot an Acid attack at Butterfree who dodged the attack with ease.

Butterfree then launched a Psychic attack at the Tentacruel. The waves shot through the air and stuck Tentacruel right in the soft portion of its head. The Tentacruel gave a yell of pain before returning underneath the water.

The group grinned broadly once they saw that Butterfree had fended off the Tentacruel. To their surprise, they saw the pink Butterfree shyly fly over to Butterfree.

' Fuck! ' Austin thought before being bitch slapped on the head by Lucario who didn't say anything as he just pointed forward.

It then started to move back and forth in a dance pattern. Butterfree's face lit up and began to join the pink Butterfree in the dance.

"Well, would you look at that," Yellow smiled when she saw the two Butterfree dancing together?

"I guess your Butterfree finally got the other's attention by helping it out in its time of need," Lucario told Austin with a glare.

Austin looked down before smiling.

Butterfree didn't need to see this overly obsessed side of him. He needed to be strong and respect his buddy's decision.

"Yeah, good for you, Butterfree!" Austin shouted happily to it.

Butterfree turned to Austin and raised its hand into the air as a sign of acknowledgment. The two then flew back higher into the air to join the rest of the Butterfree flying around in the air. All of the Butterfree must have found their mates because they all began to chirp happily. It almost seemed like Butterfree was singing a song

" Chuuu," Pikachu said. It felt so relaxed right now.

"That must be their love call," Austin commented as the group listened to all the Butterfree singing.

"It's so pretty," Yellow smiled.

Yellow built up the courage to tap on Austin's shoulders and asked," Would you like to dance ?"

" You know a man is normally supposed to ask the lady."

Austin's answer caused Yellow to fluster a little before Lucario kicked him forward.

"Um, would you like to dance, Yellow?" he asked.

Yellow was delighted. She was finally going to get to dance with her crush. She blushed heavily as she took his hand.

"I'd love to, Ash," she replied.

Remembering how his father and mother used to practice their slow dance for his brother's wedding. Austin tried to mimic those moves.

Yellow blushed even harder once she felt Austin's hand against her back. They then began to move slowly back and forth. Austin was moving a lot more awkwardly than Yellow was, however.

"Eheheheh, I guess I'm not a very good dancer," Austin said in an embarrassed tone.

"You're doing fine, Ash. Just follow my lead," Yellow told him while smiling.

Yellow then began to lead him which was a challenge due to the height difference but their movements to the song the Butterfree were singing were beautiful causing many of the others to start dancing.

Bulbasaur's outstretched vines danced alongside the awkwardly smiling Chansey.

Wartortle and Ninjask were having the time of their lives.

Charmeleon and Scizor looked at each before agreeing to just dance alone.

Fearow also tried to join the loner's group before Scizor's claw slapped him in Pidgeot's direction who puffed her chest out while outstretching her wing.

" I bet I could dance better than you," Fearow exclaimed causing Scizor and Charmeleon to facepalm.

Lucario enjoyed the ambiance before he felt a tap on his shoulder he turned to see Dragonair looking at him.

" Can I help you with something?"

" Would you like to dance ?" Dragonair asked in an elegant tone causing Luacrio to reply," You don't have arms."

Lucario's words pierced through Dragonair's heart.

Thinking for a second, Lucario replied," I do have an idea of how we can dance."

" you do."

Dragonair's words were cut off as Lucario grabbed the dragon by the neck before saying with a smirk," Let's dance."

" Yes, daddy." Dragonair whispered out but not enough for Lucario to hear it.

"Okay, Ash. Now one, two, three, step. One, two three, step," Yellow guided.

It took Austin a few tries, but soon enough he was starting to get the hang of the movements he and Yellow were making. He had never danced like this with a girl before even on Earth.

Yellow herself was extremely happy at the moment. She had always wanted to share a dance with Austin like this before. Yellow was resisting the urge to lay her head on Austin's chest as that might make Ash a little uncomfortable since he was already nervous enough. Austin may not be the best dancer in the world, but that didn't matter to Yellow at all. He could have been the worst dancer, and Yellow still would not have cared because it was with him, her crush.

The Butterfree continued to sing while the four danced below. Pikachu, not having a partner at the moment, found a bottle of ketchup in the backpack and began to dance with it instead. The bottle was a little heavy for the rodent which caused it to stumble a lot as it mimicked the humans' movements while Chu Chu laughed at him before coming to him to his said and offering herself as a dance partner.

After a few minutes, the Butterfree stopped singing and the group stopped dancing. The men and Pokemon bowed while the ladies curtseyed. The dance may have been a little impromptu but still enjoyable.

"Thank you for the dance, Ash," Yellow said while blushing heavily.

"Eheheheheh, it was no problem," Austin answered while rubbing the back of his neck. He was red as well.

The group of trainers stood in front of two Butterfree, as the sun began to dip below the horizon.

"So I guess you want to go start a family of your own now, don't you?" Austin asked his Butterfree, who answered with a soft "Freeee." Yellow, wore a cheerful smile on her face.

"Then this is where we part ways, I guess," Austin said, his voice heavy with emotion. Butterfree looked up at Austin with sadness in its eyes. Austin knelt, placing a hand on the pink Butterfree's head. "This is a very special Butterfree. I want you to take really good care of it for me."

As Austin stood up, he felt a tear roll down his cheek. "Goodbye, Butterfree," he whispered, his voice choked with emotion. Yellow stepped forward, her smile never wavering. "I'm sure your babies will be beautiful," Lucario added its farewell, wishing the Butterfree the best of luck.

With a flutter of its wings, the pink Butterfree took to the air, waiting for its mate to join it. "Freee?" Butterfree asked, looking up at Austin one last time. "Just go," Austin replied, his voice firm but filled with sadness. Pikachu, stepped forward to shake hands with Butterfree. "Pikachu!" it exclaimed, telling Butterfree that it knew it could achieve its dreams.

As Butterfree took to the air, Austin watched, his thoughts turning to all the adventures he had shared with this special Pokemon. He remembered the day he first captured it as a Caterpie, the battles they had fought and won together. He would miss Butterfree, but he knew this was what it truly wanted: to start a family of its own.

"Hey, Ash. Butterfree is almost out of sight," Yellow said, breaking Austin from his thoughts. With a final goodbye, Austin ran to the edge of the cliff, his feet thudding against the ground with each step. "Take care, Butterfree! Good luck, buddy!" he shouted, his voice ringing out over the sound of the wind and the waves crashing against the shore below.

Butterfree heard its trainer's voice and looked back again to see Austin

"I'll always remember you! Thank you for everything! Goodbye, Butterfree!" Austin yelled.

Hearing Austin's words, Butterfree had a few tears in his eyes as he gazed upon his human and his family suddenly, Butterfree froze as he spotted a silhouette of Raticate in the background. The smile caused Butterfree to blink in shock. But as quickly as it appeared, the shadow was gone. Butterfree couldn't shake off the feeling of unease as it looked over at its friends. Fearow, Clefable, and Charmeleon looked at Butterfree with disappointment and anger.

They had pledged to carry out revenge for their fallen sister, Raticate.

But now, Butterfree was throwing away their promise for the sake of starting a family.

"Are you coming?" The pink Butterfree asked, breaking Butterfree out of its thoughts. "What if I want to stay?" Butterfree asked, "Would you stay with me?"

Seeing the two Butterfrees talking everyone frowned before their worries were laid to rest as the duo flew off.

Austin looked down as he was saddened, yet at the same time relieved.

Maybe his departure was for the best.

Suddenly a psychic aura snatched Austin's hat out of his head causing everyone to look up as their stood, Butterfree wearing a hat.

" B, Butterfree! What are you doing she's leaving ?!"

Austin shouted out.

Butterfree in response weaved a string web into the words.

" I am staying."

Reading that, Austin couldn't control his emotions as he broke down in tears while falling to his knees.

Many of the pokemon started to cry with Yellow patting Austin's back.

Butterfree smiled as he looked back at the leaving Butterfrees while thinking.

" I am sorry; I lust for you but I love my family"

Feeling a pat on his back, Butterfree turned to see Fearow, Scizor, and Charmeleon looking at him with angry expressions.

" You think you can come back after making us cry," Charmeleon shouted out while Fearow and Scizor agreed, causing Butterfree to immediately regret his decision.

Maybe I should have gone with her.
