Amethyst hurriedly took the singular blade out of the paper wrapping. She was mesmerized by the shiny edge, it didn't reflect light but it was still so.. shiny.
Blade in hand, amethyst crawled over to the corner by the bathtub, out of sight from the door.
She held the blade to her wrist and swiped.
A big, bloodless gash. It wasn't deep enough for her. She swiped over it again, and again.
She was halfway through her arm.. she didn't realize it at first. The adrenaline made her body numb.
She didn't cut horizontally this time, she cut vertically. Her arm, was so pretty In her eyes.
About five minutes later, and a dozen more cuts the adrenaline wore off.

She now had regretted what she had done. How was she going to hide this?
Her heart sank and her skin turned pale when she heard
"Amethyst?" The words, from Steven made her almost cry.
She was absolutely terrified.
She didn't know what to say, what to do, or anything at that matter.
"Uh y-yeah?" She managed to stutter.
"Are you going to come out anytime soon? I'm worried about you. You're very resourceful and I don't want you hurting yourself."
"Y yeah ill, I'll be out in a few."
She was in shock, now looking at how deep she actually cut.
The purple gem was scared that the other are going to be disappointed and mad at her.
About an hour had passed.
"Amethyst, i need you to come out, i really don't want to have to get the others." Steven begged.
"Just go Away.." Amethyst said, shaking.
"I'm sorry amethyst, if you don't come out in the next ten minutes I'm going to have to get the others." Steven said, concerned.
"I said don't get them!" Amethyst yelled.
"Amethyst, you know I have to. I'm not going to let you hurt yourself!" Steven said.
"I'm not hurting myself, you and garnet took all the sharp objects!" Amethyst shouted.
"Yes we did, but how do i know that you didn't find something, or break something to hurt yourself?"
She didn't respond.
"Amethyst, I'm sorry but I have to get the others now." Steven sighed.
"No! Please don't! I'm fine!"

"No you're not amethyst." Peridot chimed in.

"Can you keep and eye on the door while I go and get the others?" Steven asked peridot.
"Yeah sure." She replied.
"Thanks, call me if something happens. You have your tablet, right?" Steven questioned.

"Okay cool, stay here with her." Steven said, running outside.
"Oh, thank god. Garnet." Steven said out of breath.
