Chapter 8
Lucy's P.O.V.
I looked down at the grimy floor of the shed. Damon had said this is where the last clue would be placed. My hand shook, holding the pen in my hand. Ink and tears dotted the parchment, my words staining the thin material. I handed it to the mage beside me, my brown eyes brimmed to the edge, tears staining my cheeks.
"Please don't hurt them, Damon." I whispered. His eyes narrowed.
"No promises." He said, folding the letter into his pocket. I looked behind me at the coffin. This was it. My last moments in this world. I closed my eyes, seeing the green tint of the vial in his hand.
"I love you, Lucy." He said, bitterness in his voice. I didn't say anything. I felt a prick in my arm. It didn't take long. I gave up to the darkness pressing on me. I love you, Natsu….
Normal P.O.V
Ripped envelopes scattered over the floor of Lucy's apartment.
Dear Mother,
Today I met Lisanna. I can't help but feel slightly jealous of her. She seems to be the only one on everybody's mind. I seem to be all alone all the time now. I don't want to be selfish though. I'm going to forget it. She's an amazing person. I can tell why Natsu loves her. She's really fun. I'm going to go on a mission. Alone. It can't be that bad, right? I mean-
They just couldn't seem to find any answers anywhere. Till Erza said,
"Let's go."
"What? You found it? What is it?" Gray asked, whipping around in surprise. Erza just looked at a very confused Natsu, before promptly leaving the apartment, and heading down the street.
"Not only that, but I know where she is." She said.
"What?" Wendy asked.
"How?" Natsu asked. Erza turned on him.
"I'm going to tell you something. Ok? And you better take it to heart. Lucy loves you. She loves you more than a friend. That's why she was taken. It happened to be a game to her captor. He can use you against her. He's not trying to get to Fairy Tail, He's trying to get to Lucy." She said, turning back around, and leaving a stunned Natsu behind her.
"Luce, loves….me?" He said, to himself. He felt a bud of something in his chest. But what about Lisanna? I love her, not Lucy. Suddenly, he fell to his knees. Something was wrong. Something was very wrong.
Authors Note: Sorry, I just moved and it was all hectic and I tried to get something up but I couldn't so I am really sorry. Breath. Ok. Now, I figured I'm bad at updating, so I just had Erza figure it out. Will be explained later. And, Gasp, Lucy's dead? Or is she? What about Natsu? In love with Lisanna, or not? What is going on?
