Chapter 10
Normal P.O.V.
Wendy eventually needed to breathe and pause in the running. They stopped, Natsu fidgeting with energy. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the forest they were beside. The dark hair and dark eyes familiar to them.
"You." Natsu snarled, lunging toward him. Erza and Gray held him back.
"There is no point in fighting me. You will never find Lucy that way. Erza. Well done. Figuring it out? What, did you think she was at my manor house? Pity. You wouldn't have found her. No. I will give you one more clue though. Listen carefully. Who makes it, has no need for it, Who buys it, has no use for it, Who uses it can neither see nor feel it. What is it? Now, there is an army outcropping from years ago in the forest with many buildings. You will find her there, but only the answer to this riddle will open the correct door. Good luck." And he melted into the trees. Natsu shoved Erza and Gray off of him.
"WHAT THE HELL? MORE RIDDLES? COME BACK HERE AND FIGHT LIKE A MAN, YOU COWARD!" He yelled into the trees. But the guy never came back.
"Who was he?" Wendy whispered, slightly scared by Natsu's sudden outburst.
"An enemy of Fairy Tail, and of Lucy." Erza said.
"Let's go find this outcropping. We could figure out the answer along the way." Gray said, heading off toward the trees. Juvia followed, and eventually everyone else did too.
Lucy's P.O.V.
The darkness that encased me wouldn't let up. If anything, with all my attempts, it only got stronger. I must be dead. I thought, looking around. There wasn't anything to see. Then, memories flashed out all around me. My father, my mother. My home. Fairy Tail. All my spirits. I grew sad. I'm never going to see them again, am I?
