[ Back of the van ]

As Austin sat in the back of the police van, his mind was racing with a mixture of fear and confusion. The handcuffs felt tight against his wrist, and he couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong.

His Pokemon Musharna was shaking like crazy, and she refused to turn away from the body bag that lay in the corner of the van. Austin tried to reassure her, but even his voice seemed to not affect the distressed Pokemon.

Just as Austin was about to give up, the van suddenly bumped into something, causing the body bag to crash to the floor of the van and rip a piece of it open. Austin's eyes glanced down, and a sense of dread filled him as he saw an eye peaking at him through the tear.

Musharna let out a frightened eep as the eyeball rolled out of the body bag, and Austin struggled to push back the bile that was forming in his stomach. He watched in horror as Musharna tried to use her psychic powers to put the eyeball back in the bag, but in her haste, she only managed to rip the bag open even more.

Just as Musharna was about to fix it, Austin stopped her. He was filled with a sense of dread as he inched closer and closer to the body bag, his heart beating like crazy. With a shaking hand, Austin tore a little of the body bag and what he saw next shook him to the core.

He recognized the uniform.

The body was that of Officer Jenny.

Why was the lifeless body of Officer Jenny in a body bag in the van of another Officer Jenny?

But the more jarring question was; why was the skin on Officer Jenny's face missing as if someone had ripped it out?

He sat there, staring at the body of Officer Jenny, his mind reeling. He couldn't understand what was happening.

Suddenly, Musharna let out a blood-curdling scream and slammed onto the floor of the van. Austin heard a slushy sound and turned to see a grotesque, gelatinous mass begin to ooze out of Jenny's body. He was filled with horror as he watched the mass flow out of Jenny's eyes and mouth, growing larger and larger with each passing moment.

The glob was a swirling mass of color, with a whole plethora of hues and jagged rocks embedded within it. Austin felt his stomach churning as he took a step back, trying to put as much distance between himself and the horrifying scene as possible.

He immediately recognized that thing.

It was project venom which centered around one idea.

It is a known fact that Muk, a Pokemon known for the affection they give to their trainers which isn't reciprocated back protects any and all from its toxins using a layer of mucus that is considered impossible to break as a Muk subconsciously keeps secreting it.

But team rocket wanted to see what would happen if this layer was broken and they succeed by subjecting Muks, grimers, and Alolan variants alongside various drugs, chemical poisons, and poisonous plants.

The result was a mindless puppet that can kill any Pokemon and human that comes in contact with its toxins.

With that everything clicked in Austin's mind, he was currently being captured by some Team Rocket agent who wanted to kill him and take his place like Officer Jenny to get Charmeleon without anyone knowing it.

The glob continued to grow, expanding and contracting like some sort of pulsing monster. Austin felt like he was trapped in a nightmare, unable to escape the grotesque sight that was unfolding before him.

Despite his fear, Austin couldn't look away. He was mesmerized by the pulsing, glowing mass, and he felt a sense of awe and terror that he had never experienced before.

As the glob reached its full size, it suddenly stopped pulsing and hung in the air, as if waiting for something. Austin was frozen, unable to move as the glob seemed to stare back at him, its jagged rocks glinting menacingly in the light.

Just as suddenly as it had appeared, the glob shot forward, heading straight for Austin.

Musharna tried to get up but Muk's dark type aura was affecting her greatly.

[ Celadon City ]

As the police van slowly approached the restricted part of Celadon City that was separated by a large forest.

Celadon City was never the metropolitan area, no, its roots could be traced to being an old military base that had been abandoned after the War with Orre's region was over.

Now it was being used as a landfill and the home to many the homeless people

Domino could feel the ominous weight of the abandoned and decaying surroundings. The once proud base had fallen into disrepair, with towering buildings now standing as nothing more than empty shells, a desolate testament to its decline.

The police van trudged forward, its headlights casting eerie shadows over the rubble-strewn streets. Ahead, the skyline was dominated by a massive landfill, a festering wound in the heart of the town. The landfill was a physical representation of the current day Celadon's situation, showing off the worst of Celadon's excess and waste as it was the biggest landfill in Kanto.

As the van pulled up to the entrance of the landfill, Domino's eyes were fixed on the towering piles of trash.

She glanced at one of the guards of the landfill, an agent of Team Rocket, the organization had converted this abandoned military base into a hub of their special services.

" You may enter."

" Next time, do it faster ?"

" My apologies, Agent Domino."

The massive metal doors of the entrance slowly began to open. The sound of grinding metal echoed through the desolate surroundings, signaling her arrival. The van crept forward, the headlights illuminating the dark and dingy interior of the landfill.

Domino smiled as she saw her trailer home in the distance. It was small and unassuming, sitting amidst the towering piles of garbage and refuse. But to her, it was a sanctuary, a place where she could escape from the troubles of the outside world.

She drove the police van towards the trailer, navigating the narrow and twisting pathways that wound through the landfill. The wheels of the van crunched over the loose gravel and debris, kicking up clouds of dust in its wake. As she neared her home, she could see that the area was more private and secluded, surrounded by towering walls of garbage that offered a measure of protection from prying eyes.

Domino parked the police van, taking a moment to simply sit and savor the peace and quiet of the landfill. She gazed out the window, taking in the view of the towering mountains of trash that surrounded her.

This was one of the top agents of Team Rocket's office. This unassuming trailer home contains a lot of the secrets of the underworld from assassination bills for politicians, documents of illegal import and export, Bank records showing large, unexplained deposits,

Audio recordings of illegal deals, video footage of the politicians accepting bribes, Emails and notes detailing a criminal enterprise and contracts for illegal services and products.

Domino rubbed her forehead and sighed in frustration.

She had been tasked with infiltrating a highly secure government facility to retrieve a classified document just as she finished this one.

It was a routine mission for her, but today seemed different. Everything was going wrong, and now she was stuck in a police van with a highly dangerous Muk that could have melted away the boy.

Thank Mew, she had allowed it to use its full power.

As she reached for the doors, she felt a sudden jolt as a hand shot through from the metallic door of the van as grabbed her by the neck.

A few seconds, later the metallic door was ripped apart, revealing Austin standing on the other side. He had Musharna on his head, and the Alolan Muk was struggling inside a dome of red aura.

Domino's heart raced as she realized she was in serious danger. She tried to reach for her communicator, but Austin was too quick for her. He grabbed her hand, preventing her from making the call. Domino felt a surge of adrenaline as she kicked off Austin's chest. Her knee connected with her own face, and she felt her front tooth break off.

She gasped in pain as the tooth fell to the ground, blinking and bleeping. It was a special gadget that she had been given by her agency. It released a supersonic sound that jolted the Alolan Muk into action as it began to grow and grow to break the aura dome around it.

The massive creature shot a tendril toward Austin's hand, who quickly jumped back, releasing Domino in the process. She crashed to the ground, coughing and gasping for air.

The situation was quickly spiraling out of control, and Domino knew she had to act fast. She reached for her gun, determined to bring Austin down. But as she raised the weapon, she was hit by a psychic blast from Musharna, sending her flying back. She hit the ground hard, her gun skidding away from her grasp.

The sound of pokeballs opening echoed through the landfill as Domino clicked on her wrist, and an Alakazam appeared by her side. Its eyes glowed with psychic energy, and it raised a paw, pointing towards a police van parked nearby. Suddenly, the van exploded in a burst of flame, metal, and debris.

As the smoke cleared, an Alolan Muk emerged from the wreckage, sliding smoothly out of the van and coming to rest beside Domino as she faced off against Austin who cracked his neck side to side with Musharna sitting on his head as she swayed from side to side.

Even in this dangerous situation, Musharna raised her pink paw because Austin's neck cracked and the swaying was fun.

{ Yay }

[ Lucario's POV ]

" Lucario! Please don't fall !" Yellow screamed out while her eyes were closed.

" Why did I agree to this ?!" Green similarly screamed as I ignored the screaming duo.

' Mew, if they scream so much now, I don't even what to know the decibels they're going to make when that brat grows up.'

Glancing to the sky, I could see the rat flying on Pidgeot's back with Austin's PokeBall belt.

Leaping through the bustling city of Celadon reminded me of the old days as I spied on the enemy. But my colors stood out against the towering skyscrapers and bustling crowds. The wind rushes past me as I soar through the air, my powerful legs propelling me forward.

I navigate through the busy streets, dodging cars and pedestrians as I make my way toward my destination. The city was a blur of sights and sounds, with neon lights flashing and engines roaring. But I am focused, my senses honed to detect any danger that may come my way.

As I soar over the city, I catch glimpses of its vibrant life. People hurrying to work, children playing in the park, vendors hawking their wares. It's a fascinating place, full of life and energy. And I was now a part of it, a powerful and graceful presence in this urban jungle.

But now wasn't the time to time to think about that, no, I needed to get towards that brat.

Something dangerous was near him but at least he had those two by his side.

[ Celadon City - Landfill ]

The landfill on this dark and moonless night was thick with the pungent smell of waste and garbage. The only source of light came from the flickering street lamps, casting eerie shadows over the piles of trash. Austin and Domino stood facing each other, their Pokemon by their side.

Austin gritted his teeth as he gazed upon Domino while Musharna floated beside him.

Domino was the picture of confidence, dressed in the iconic Officer Jenny attire. Her blonde hair was tied back in a sleek ponytail and she had a smirk on her face as she read Austin's files and was aware that he wasn't anything special with only 4 gym badges under his belt. Alakazam and Muk, stood at the ready, their psychic and poison powers waiting to be unleashed.

" Trick Room Strip."

Austin whispered as he saw the overconfident look in Domino's eyes.

He knew he had to Leverage the advantage provided to him.

Musharna's eyes glowed and a large light blue rectangle with light blue transparent walls and ceiling appear around the battlefield. Then, the light blue glow fades, and the walls and ceiling become invisible.

Musharna suddenly disappeared causing Domino to click her tongue.

" Alakazam use kinesis, muk, use gunk shot !"

Following Domino's command, Alakazam's spoons glowed with psychic energy as he projected a purple ethereal chain to locate Musharna and lower her accuracy.

Domino's eyes widened as she saw the sheer speed of Musharna dodging the psychic chain and appearing in front of Alakazam as her eyes glowed before a cyan-colored string formed between her and Alakazam.

Domino felt her blood boil as she recognized that Musharna had the move "Imprison" effectively cutting off the majority of Alakazam's moveset.

Muk meanwhile shot a black sludge towards Musharna who was about to dodge but saw Domino point her gun at Austin.

Domino felt a sense of annoyance as she didn't expect to be so easily outclassed in such a short period of time.

She knew if this was a standard battle then she would have easily lost.

Domino confidently pulled out a gun, her smirk never leaving her face. Austin watched with an indifferent look as she aimed the barrel toward him. Just as she pulled the trigger, a white claw emerged from the shadows and quickly inserted itself into the barrel of the gun, causing it to explode in Domino's hand. She screamed out in pain as the gun shattered in her grasp.

Domino looked up to see a giant white alpha haunter, giggling at her. It was a terrifying sight. Alakazam, sensing the danger, tried to launch a fire punch at Haunter, but she was too quick. With a flick of her claw, Haunter pointed it toward Alakazam and blasted the psychic Pokemon with a powerful dark pulse.

Meanwhile, Austin's Musharna used her psychic powers to gather the junk of the landfill and trap project venom inside a sphere, effectively neutralizing it as she launched a blizzard at the sphere as it floated into the air with icicles forming on the metal causing project venom's body to slow down.

But the battle was far from over. One of Domino's Pokeballs around her neck suddenly opened, revealing a Crobat and Houndoom. Haunter caught off guard, let go of Domino's mouth as Houndoom fired a point-blank dark pulse. Crobat immediately took to the air, heading straight for Austin.

Musharna, always the protector, intercepted Crobat midair with a powerful psychic blast. The two Pokemon clashed in a barrage of attacks, with Crobat using air slash and Musharna deflecting the attacks with her powerful psychic abilities. In a split second, one of Musharna's psychic blasts hit Crobat's air slash, causing it to deflect toward a giant pile of garbage. The pile was instantly cut in two, sending garbage flying everywhere.

The air was filled with the sound of flapping wings as Crobat descended upon Austin, launching multiple air slashes at him. Austin's eyes widened when suddenly a blue energy shield appeared in front of him, deflecting Crobat's attacks. It was Musharna, using her Reflect to protect Austin.

Crobat, not one to be deterred, used Aerial Ace to speed blitz Musharna. The attack was fast and precise, but Musharna was ready. She stood firm, her psychic energy glowing bright blue. But just as she thought she had the upper hand, Crobat Infiltrator's ability activated as she bypassed Reflect, biting down on Musharna with dark-type energy covering her fangs.

" Psychic impact !" Austin quickly commanded as Musharna pushed through the pain as her body was surrounded by orange streaks. Purple energy then appeared from the top of the streaks and enveloped her body as she slammed her head onto Crobat who was thrown back.

Musharna disappeared and appeared in front of Crobat as she blasted the poison type with a point-blank psychic attack embedded into the ground.

...

The alpha white Haunter gazed upon Houndoom, taking in the strange metallic bell attached to its neck. The bell suddenly threw out a Kasib Berry, which Houndoom eagerly devoured. Haunter was impressed by the technology, and intrigued by the device's ability to deliver such sustenance with ease.

But Houndoom was not content to simply stand and admire the technology. With a roar, it rushed at Haunter, flames blazing around its body as it used Flame Charge. Haunter, unfazed, phased into the shadows and disappeared from view.

Moments later, Haunter reappeared behind Houndoom, using her Shadow Sneak ability to move with the speed and stealth of a ghost. Houndoom spun around, confused and disoriented, as the metallic ball launched a Colbur Berry toward it.

But Haunter was not about to let Houndoom have the upper hand. With a fierce cry, she launched a Fire Punch, her fist crackling with energy. To Haunter's surprise, the attack was absorbed by Houndoom's Flash Fire ability, the flames only serving to fuel the dark type's power.

The two Pokemon stood facing each other, their eyes locked in a fierce battle of will. The air was thick with tension as they circled each other, searching for any sign of weakness. Houndoom, its eyes blazing with the heat of its inner flames, lunged forward, ready to strike.

But Haunter was ready. With a flick of her wrist, she summoned a powerful Shadow Ball, the energy crackling with dark power. The two attacks collided with a deafening boom, the ground shaking beneath their feet as they clashed in a burst of light and energy.

For a moment, everything was still. The only sound was the distant cry of a far-off bird. And then, with a roar, Houndoom lunged forward, its teeth bared as it attacked with a powerful Crunch.

Haunter was ready for the attack, her teeth glowing with a ghostly light. The two Pokemon clashed in a deadly embrace, their bodies writhing and thrashing as they fought for dominance.

As the fierce battle between Haunter and Houndoom raged on, Domino saw her chance to strike. With a swift movement, she reached for a knife concealed in her pocket, hoping to catch Austin off guard. But Austin was ready. In a blur of motion, he turned and kicked the knife out of her hand before spinning around with a lightning-fast 360-degree kick that sent Domino crashing to the ground.

Despite the impact, Domino refused to stay down. With a fierce determination in her eyes, she gritted her teeth and attempted to bite down on a tooth that held a deadly toxin pill. But Austin was too quick. With lightning reflexes, he placed his foot in her mouth, preventing her from carrying out her deadly plan.

With Domino now defenseless, Austin stood over her, his expression a mixture of disgust and amusement.

"Really?" he quipped. "A foot fetish? That's a new one."

As Austin stood over Domino, his victory seemed assured. But suddenly, Domino sprang to life, her sharp nails glinting in the sunlight as she lunged toward Austin's Achilles heel.

With lightning-fast reflexes, Austin jumped back, narrowly avoiding her attack. As Domino landed in a cloud of dust and grime, Austin nonchalantly pulled his hands out of his pockets, his expression unimpressed.

Undeterred, Domino leaped to her feet, her eyes flashing with anger and determination. She charged at Austin with reckless abandon, her nails poised to strike.

But Austin was ready. He quickly executed a Hwechook, a devastating martial arts move that involved three rapid kicks in succession. He aimed the first and second kicks at Domino's head, then followed up with the third to finish her off.

As the dust settled, Austin stood over Domino's fallen form, his breath coming in short gasps. With a smirk, he muttered to himself, "That's how it's done."

...

As the intense battle between Haunter and Houndoom continued in the background, Austin took a moment to catch his breath. His heart was pounding with the adrenaline of the fight, and he could feel the sweat trickling down his back.

But he knew that he couldn't let his guard down. The battle was far from over, and he had to be ready for whatever came next. With a deep breath, Austin turned his attention back to the ongoing battle, his eyes locked on the two battling Pokémon.

Haunter and Houndoom were locked in a fierce struggle, their movements quick and precise. Haunter floated around Houndoom, dodging its fiery attacks with ease. Houndoom, for its part, was relentless, launching a series of powerful bites and tackles at its ghostly opponent.

Austin watched the battle with fascination, studying the movements of both Pokémon with a keen eye.

As the battle raged on, Austin began to see openings in his opponent's defenses. He waited patiently for the perfect moment to strike, then sprang into action with a Dragon Sign Hwechook.

With a fierce determination in his eyes, he firmly buried his foot into the ground, gathering all his strength and sending the resulting force up to his knee, pelvis, waist, and then to the tip of his foot which executed the Hwechook.

With a sudden burst of speed, he darted towards Houndoom, his movements quick and precise. Before Houndoom could even react, Austin leaped over its head with an acrobatic flip, landing behind it with a fierce kick that sent it tumbling to the ground.

As Houndoom struggled to get back on its feet, Austin seized the opportunity to strike again. He took a deep breath and focused on his aura, feeling a surge of power building within him. With a shout, he unleashed a powerful Hwechook that sent Houndoom flying across the battlefield.

But Austin wasn't done yet. As Houndoom landed in a heap of trash, Musharna suddenly appeared beside it, ready to strike. With a quick nod from Austin, Musharna unleashed a point-blank Hidden Power attack, its water-type energy blasting Houndoom with incredible force.

The attack hit Houndoom with a powerful blast, sending it crashing to black.

In the land of Kanto and Johto, there was a wealthy and influential family known as the Amano clan. They had made their fortune through their patented use of Nitrogen as a fertilizer, and their power over the economy was so great that it was said that they could crash the markets with a single blow.

At the center of this powerful family was the youngest daughter, Erika. Unlike her siblings, Erika had aspirations that were at odds with the expectations of her family. She yearned to be a Pokémon trainer, and the Amano clan, with their vast wealth, spared no expense in supporting her dream. They hired the best instructors, and provided her Pokemon with the finest Pokémon food and the healthiest and strongest baby Pokémon, hoping that she would bring glory to the family name by becoming a Champion.

However, Erika's journey as a trainer was far from easy. Despite her advantages, she was unable to make it past the first round of the Pokémon League as she only got to said point either by trainers and gym leaders handing her the win out of fear from the Amano family or due to the overwhelming strength of her pokemon but her skills as a trainer were average at best.

Her family was disappointed, but Erika's spirit was not broken. She disappeared from the Pokémon scene for a year, until she was suddenly appointed as the gym leader of Celadon City. It was clear that the Amano clan had bought her way to this position, and though no one dared to openly criticize her, the resentment and anger towards Erika were palpable. She was an outsider in a world that valued hard work and determination, and her privileged background made it difficult for her to win the respect and trust of those around her.

Erika was deeply affected by the isolation and resentment, and her mental state began to deteriorate. The Pokémon League, fearing the power of the Amano clan, chose to hide her under the guise that she was nominated for the Elite Four. When she returned, Erika was a changed person. She was now the epitome of grace and strength, a skilled trainer, instructor, and gym leader. People were in awe of her transformation, but some wondered what had happened to bring about such a drastic change.

As time went by, an underlying dread began to seep into the minds of many who wondered. What had the Amano clan done to make their daughter into the person she had become? What was the League's involvement in all of this? Was it their money and influence, or was there something darker and more sinister at play? The answers to these questions remained elusive, shrouded in mystery, and hidden behind the power and wealth of the Amano clan and the Pokemon. But the dread lingered, always present, like a shadow that refused to disappear.

...

A guard stood outside the massive iron gates, his hand resting on the holster of his gun. He hummed along to the radio program, relishing in the rare moment of peace and quiet. The air was still, and only the occasional rustle of leaves broke the silence.

Suddenly, the lights went out. The guard stiffened, his hand instinctively reaching for the flashlight on his belt. He flicked it on, shining it into the darkness.

Two young girls emerged from the woods, their faces pale with fear. The guard pointed his gun at them and barked, "You two! Leave this area now! This is restricted property."

" Please! Help us." Yellow pleaded out but before the guard could do anything further, a blue blur kicked the gun out of his hand. He gasped, his hand grasping at the empty air. When he looked up, he saw a fist rushing toward his face. He barely had time to brace himself before he was knocked out cold.

Lucario stood over the unconscious guard, his sharp eyes scanning the area for any other threats. He looked back at Yellow and Green, nodding in approval.

High above in the vast expanse of the sky Pikachu, found himself nestled securely in the gentle embrace of Clefable. With his bright red cheeks crackling and pulsating with potent electricity, Pikachu had only moments ago unleashed a powerful and widespread Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP) wave.

This impressive display of his electrical prowess had effectively managed to disable all electronic devices and systems within a specific radius, casting a sudden darkness over the area as screens went blank and machines ground to a halt. The energy that emanated from Pikachu's EMP wave was palpable, leaving behind an eerie silence broken only by the occasional distant crackle of residual energy dissipating into the atmosphere.

Green approached the guard, examining his face and hands. She frowned, muttering something under her breath. Suddenly, a purple goo enveloped her as she shapeshifted into the guard. Lucario raised an eyebrow, his voice tinged with concern. "Is this necessary?"

Green looked up at him, a steely determination in her eyes. "Yes," she said. "We need to get inside."

She took the gun and walked towards the guard's booth, her steps confident and steady. She opened the gates to the Celadon City landfill, the sound of creaking metal echoing through the still night air.

The landfill was a sprawling mass of trash, the towering piles of garbage illuminated by the moonlight. The smell was overwhelming, a mixture of rot and decay. But Green didn't flinch, she strode forward, her senses on high alert.

" Come on, we need to save Ash," Yellow exclaimed as she rushed in before Lucario stopped her.

" Don't worry, we have exactly 5 minutes before the cameras of this place turn on again," Green exclaimed as she looked at Lucario and Yellow.

" We need to hurry up."

Lucario followed her, his aura senses at the ready. Yellow and Pikachu joined them, the group moving silently through the landfill.

...

The duo of Pokemon trainers and their Pokemon stood in Celadon City landfill, taking in the sight of a police van parked nearby. The van's presence only added to the unease that had been building within them as they approached the trailer home at the center of the landfill.

Lucario led the way, his muscular frame tense and ready for anything. He carried no weapons, relying solely on the power of his aura to protect himself and the others. Behind him were Pikachu and Ivysaur, its vines twitching in anticipation.

As they sneaked towards the trailer home, Ninjask and Wartortle dropped silently onto the roof, their quick movements allowing them to take up positions as lookouts. Scizor waited outside, its powerful claws ready to defend the group at a moment's notice. Meanwhile, Pidgeot and Fearow circled overhead, keeping watch from above.

Green and Yellow followed closely behind Lucario and Ivysaur, both girls armed and ready. Green held a gun, her hand steady despite the danger they were about to face. Yellow's hand was empty, but the glow of her psychic powers radiated from her eyes, signaling that she was prepared to use them at a moment's notice.

With a swift and powerful kick, Lucario thrust open the door to the seemingly nondescript trailer home. In hot pursuit, Ivysaur, the grass and poison-type Pokémon, quickly followed suit, releasing a thick, paralyzing cloud of stun spore into the room. Green and Yellow rushed in immediately after, their adrenaline pumping. Green held her gun at the ready, prepared for any sudden threats, while Yellow stood poised to use her formidable psychic powers if the situation called for it.

Upon entering the dimly lit space, the team found Domino bound and incapacitated by twisted steel rebars that had been skillfully wrapped around her arms and legs. Her unconscious form lay slumped against the wall, her breathing shallow and labored. The sight of her in such a vulnerable state was disconcerting, to say the least.

On the other side of the room, they noticed Austin sitting casually at a small, cluttered table, his attention seemingly absorbed by a few scattered papers in front of him. Beside him, the drowsy psychic-type Pokémon, Musharna, munched away on a steaming bowl of noodles, seemingly oblivious to the tense and potentially dangerous atmosphere that had suddenly enveloped the trailer home.

"Hey, welcome ladies and gentlemen and the walking museum fossil to this humble place " Austin greeted nonchalantly, finally looking up and acknowledging the group's entrance into the room.

Lucario stepped forward, his powerful aura flaring brilliantly as he took in the unsettling scene before him. "What's going on here?" he demanded, his deep, resonant voice echoing throughout the cramped confines of the trailer home.

"Want some noodles?" Austin asked, seemingly unfazed by the intensity of the situation.

"Pika," Pikachu chimed in, never one to pass up a potential meal.

"Sorry, Pikachu, there is no ketchup," Austin replied with a hint of amusement in his voice.

"Pi," Pikachu sighed, his ears drooping slightly in disappointment.

[ Celadon City Landfill ]

The trailer home was a mess, cluttered with the remnants of a hurried search. Green rummaged through cabinets and drawers, picking out anything of value or significance. Pikachu and Pichu were playing with a bound and gagged Domino, prodding her with curious noses as she was knocked out against the rebar that held her in place.

Yellow was on edge, nervously pacing back and forth as she kept watch for any signs of trouble. Austin and Lucario were working in tandem, sorting through stacks of documents and evidence.

Austin flipped through false bank statements, forged signatures, and incriminating emails, his eyes scanning the pages for anything of importance. Lucario used his keen sense of smell to detect any lingering scents that could lead to further clues.

Just as Austin was about to move on to the next stack of papers, his eyes caught something that made him pause. It was an important letter, written in bold, official script, and it was addressed to Domino.

[ Agent Domino,

I hope this letter finds you well. I have a most pressing matter that requires your immediate attention. As you all know, the Amano family is quite an interesting family and they could help team rocket achieve their goals much faster they have been a thorn in our side for far too long but with the long line of succession to the family head, we can't get the support of the Family because of time so operation rainfall has been conducted.

This Sunday, I want you to carry out a very delicate mission. I need you to abduct Erika Amano, the youngest daughter of the Amano family. Do not harm a hair on her head, I need her alive and unharmed. She is to be replaced by our very own Agent Duplica, who will infiltrate the Amano family and enter into the line of succession.

I understand that this will be a difficult task, but I have faith in your abilities. I need you to be discreet, quick, and most of all, professional. We cannot afford any slip-ups or mistakes. The pokemon league is on high alert because of the mental breakdown of Erika and they are going to transport her to the pokemon league headquarters to undergo psychic therapy.

I have taken the necessary precautions to ensure that Agent Duplica will be able to pass for Erika Amano without arousing suspicion. She has been thoroughly briefed and trained for this mission, and she will have all the necessary information and resources at her disposal.

Remember, time is of the essence. The Amano family and Pokemon league must not suspect a thing, and we must act swiftly. I have attached the details of the mission to this letter, including the location and time of the abduction. I will be monitoring the situation closely and will be available to assist you in any way that I can.

I know that I can count on each and every one of you to carry out this mission with the utmost precision and care. The future of our organization depends on it.

Yours in the Syndicate,

Lionel Giovanni. ]

Austin stopped reading the letter before giving it to Lucario as his mind had gone blank.

Austin didn't expect Duplica, a reoccurring side character from the anime to be a part of team rocket.

'Does that mean other characters from the anime could have different roles in this world ?!' Austin wondered.

The interior of the trailer home was tense, with an air of panic emanating from Yellow as she backed herself against the wall, her eyes wide with fear. "They're coming!" she cried out, her voice trembling with alarm. "I can sense someone outside!"

Green, who had been rummaging through the cluttered space, sprang into action. With a flick of her wrist, Ditty shapeshifted Green into the likeness of Domino, complete with the same clothing and rugged features. "Stay calm, Yellow," she said, her voice calm and reassuring. "I'll handle this."

With a deep breath, she strode to the door of the trailer and threw it open, revealing a figure standing outside in the dim light of the setting sun. The figure was dressed in a sleek black outfit, with a logo emblazoned on the chest that marked them as an operative of Team Rocket.

"The shipment is ready," the operative said, his voice cold and emotionless. "Where do you want it delivered?"

Green, still in the guise of Domino, cocked her head to the side. "What shipment?" she asked, her tone a mix of confusion and curiosity.

"The shipment of...organs," the operative replied, a hint of suspicion creeping into his voice.

Before he could continue, there was a loud retching sound from inside the trailer, followed by the sound of liquid splashing onto the floor. Green quickly adopted a look of embarrassment and covered her mouth with her hand. "I'm so sorry," she said, her voice filled with false apology. "My partner, he can't handle the sight of blood. He'll be fine in a moment."

The operative looked unsure, his eyes darting back and forth as he considered what to do. Just as he was about to ask another question, there was a loud bang, followed by the sound of shattering glass. The operative's eyes went wide with fear as Green calmly said.

"I'm sorry, but we're busy right now," Green said, her voice matter-of-fact as she reached for a cloth to wipe the blood from her face. "You'll have to handle the operation without me."

The operative didn't need to be told twice. With a quick nod, he turned and disappeared into the night, leaving Green to close the door of the trailer behind him.

Inside, Yellow was trying her best to keep it together, her hands clutched over her ears as she struggled to block out the sounds of the world. Her breaths came in short gasps, and her eyes were wild with terror. Austin was by her side in an instant, his hand on her shoulder as he whispered soothing words in her ear.

"It's okay, Yellow," he said, his voice calm and comforting. "You're safe now."

She took a deep breath, her eyes meeting his as she tried to regain control of herself. "I'm sorry," she whispered, her voice shaking. "I just...I couldn't handle it."

"There's nothing to be sorry for," Austin replied, a small smile on his lips. "We're in this together, remember?"

Television is full of stories from rags to riches.

Stories that are full of overcoming adversities.

I, once, believed that if I worked hard and never gave up.

I, too, could become one of those stories.

The sun was blazing hot in the sky, casting a golden glow on the high school campus. The sound of laughter and chatter echoed through the air, as students roamed around, some heading to class, others to extracurricular activities. But in a secluded corner, a green-haired girl named Duplica was in a desperate struggle against her tormentors.

Matilda, the ringleader of the bullies, was a tall and broad-shouldered woman with a scowl permanently etched on her face. She had a sharp jawline and piercing eyes that gleamed with cruelty. Her hair was styled in a sleek bob, and she wore a black leather jacket over a white t-shirt, torn jeans, and combat boots. In her hand, she held a letter, which she brandished in front of Duplica with a sneer.

"What have we here?" Matilda said, her voice dripping with disdain. "An invitation to the Pokemon Model College of Fine Arts? How cute."

Her accomplices snickered, taunting Duplica with insults. "You? A model?" one of them said, laughing. "You couldn't model your way out of a paper bag!"

" "I wish you the best. Truly. But what if it doesn't work out? After skipping high school and bragging to everyone that you're going to be a model, wouldn't it be so humiliating if you fail? Wouldn't you rather die? "

"Why? Are you jealous?"

"Aha! No chance."

"Hey!"

Matilda pulled out a butterfly knife while the other bullies grabbed Duplica.

"We're practically sisters, you and I, that's why I'd like to help you remove that ugly mole from your pretty white face. Don't worry, I'll be careful. You know better than anyone just how skilled I am. I can't promise it will heal before Saturday though."

Duplica's heart sank as she heard the bullies' words.

" Keep still Duplica. You wouldn't want me to make a mistake, would you?

" Please, I'm sorry ... I'll stop bragging. Not my face ...!" Duplica cried out as tears rolled down her face.

The Bullies paused for a bit before bursting out laughing.

" What a mess ! How the hell does she think she can become a model looking like that !? I guess there's no need for us to worry, they'd never let a pig like her pass in a million years. But hey! Even pigs should be allowed to dream, we'll be waiting eagerly for your return."

Duplica fell to her knees as she felt her blood boil at the words of the bullies.

" Did you see her nose running?"

" Hilarious."

Duplica gritted the stone near her as she felt a surge of anger and determination. She had worked so hard for this opportunity, and she wasn't going to let a group of bullies take it away from her. She made a promise to herself that she would make them regret it. That she would show them what she was made of. That she would become a superstar.

...

Duplica stood on the platform of the Celadon City underground subway. The hum of the trains could be heard in the distance as the sound echoed through the concrete walls of the station. The PA system crackled to life, announcing the next train's arrival with a robotic voice. People bustled around her, their movements were frenzied as they jostled for space on the crowded platform.

Duplica stood apart, a still figure amidst the chaos. She was dressed in a simple, practical outfit, her coat a pale green hue that complemented her hair. The fabric was worn, its edges frayed, but it provided warmth against the chill of the underground air. She clutched a small, well-worn purse in her left hand, her gaze fixed upon its contents.

She carefully counted the money within, her eyes squinting in the dim light of the subway station. The flickering fluorescent lights cast an eerie glow upon the scene, creating deep shadows that danced along the platform. The scent of oil and machinery filled the air, and the occasional rat scurried along the tracks. Despite the less-than-ideal surroundings, Duplica remained focused, counting each coin and note with great care.

"Okay. So I have $200 I saved up... then $30 I stole from them. But... what if I don't pass? there are still five days until the interview... I'm sure I can make it last that long." Duplica thought as she bit her nails.

" Ah... chewing my nails again. I'll need to kick that habit if I become a model...Okay! Stop worrying! Duplica, don't chicken out now! Everything will work out! "

Duplica told herself before a thought.

" I have nowhere else to go. I'm going to blow the judges away! If there really is a god... he would never forsake someone like me, who needs his help the most."

...

Duplica stood outside the Vermillion city subway station, looking disheveled and flustered. The conductor and a guard were standing in front of her, shouting and waving their hands.

"How can you not notice someone rummaging through your bag? There was nobody else in the car... you should have at least placed it in the rack above you. I'm not sure we can track down a single wallet anyway. It's getting late. Give us your contact info and get home."

Duplica felt her heart sink before she ran away while shouting.

"It's okay! There wasn't much money in there anyway!"

"Miss?"

While Duplica ran, she couldn't help but think.

"That was all my money. What do I do now?"

...

The night sky was a canvas of stars and the moon shone bright, casting a silver glow over the park. Duplica sat on a wooden bench, surrounded by the stillness of the night. The only sounds were the distant chirping of crickets and the rustling of leaves in the light breeze. She sat there, lost in thought, with her eyes fixed on the ground.

"At least I didn't lose my ATM card," Blanca thought to herself. She looked at the balance of her account and realized that she barely had $40. "Will it be enough?" she wondered. Blanca was trying to figure out her options for the next few days. She knew an all-night bathhouse charged $10 a night, but she thought about maybe finding a cafe instead. She could get water for free at a bank, but what about food? If she ate only twice a day at $1 each, that would already be $10 after five days. She needed to keep at least $10 to wash up before the audition.

Tears started to well up in Duplica's eyes, but she quickly told herself not to cry. "It won't change anything," she whispered to herself. "At least it can't get any worse than this."

Duplica sat on the bench in the park, her thoughts a million miles away as she gazed up at the night sky. The stars twinkled above her, shining like diamonds against the inky blackness. She watched as the first few snowflakes began to fall, their delicate shapes fluttering down to earth

What she didn't know was that the worst had yet to come.

...

[ Vermillion City - Pokemon College of Fine Arts]

The Pokemon College of Fine Arts is a stunning and magnificent building, nestled in the heart of the city. It boasts breathtaking Gothic architecture with towering spires and intricate carvings. The main building is made of stone, with stained glass windows that allow streams of light to spill into the interior. The entrance is marked by a grand archway, with towering columns and intricate carvings of the Weather God Trio adorning its sides.

Inside the auditorium, one is greeted by a magnificent hall, its walls covered in gold leaf and velvet drapes. The ceiling is a masterpiece of fresco paintings, depicting scenes from the greatest Pokemon battles. The stage is spacious, with a polished wooden floor, spotlights, and a large screen.

On the stage, Duplica stood with utter confidence as the judges complimented her on her style and beauty.

" You are spunky, I'll give you that. It's my only asset and my best quality. Okay then, time for your photo shoot. Give me any pose you'd like. Choose wisely, we only have time for one photo."

Hearing the words of the judge, Duplica smiled before it vanished as she outstretched her hands towards the judges and poses with an indifferent look on her face yet some could see a small smile on her.

' I'll become a model if I can just pass this audition. A living work of art. Everyone will cherish me, even after I'm dead and buried if there are still photos of me.

Then, look at me.

Look at me!

Look at me !

Look at me !

Take my photograph.

Please give me your love.

...

The judges smiled at Duplica's photograph.

" What an unusual choice. Usually, they give a coy smile and try to look pretty. It's not bad though, is it? "

One of the judges addressed Duplica.

" I see here that your address is an orphanage."

" You're an orphan?"

Duplica asked with an expressionless face

" Why does that matter for modeling? "

" We need to know if we're to sign you."

Duplica's mind only heard the words " Sign me?! "

As she exclaimed.

" Yes, I'm an orphan. If I fail here today, I have nowhere else to go. I need to become a model today no matter what. I'm more desperate for this than anybody else. Nobody wants this as much as I do. I'm not going to say I'll do my best, that's a given. I'll do whatever you ask of me. So please."

Duplica stopped herself when she saw the faces of the judges.

' Oh, they're not smiling anymore. What was I thinking? I must look so pathetic. They couldn't care less about my life. My legs feel weak. '

One of the judges chuckled and answered Duplica.

" You know you're not the first to come here with a sob story, right? Anyway, we'll take one more photo, then we're done. Could you give us a look over your shoulder?"

Duplica nodded as she turned around but her heel suddenly snapped as she fell on the stage as someone ran up to her.

" Miss, are you ok ?"

Duplica raised her hand as she wanted to thank the person who came to help her but seeing them look down on her made Duplica's mind project her bullies onto the person that came to help.

Duplica's mouth bulged as she threw up on stage.

Hearing the sound of her vomit hitting the stage caused Duplica's heart to sink as she glanced at the judges who looked at her in disgust.

" Miss Duplica, please leave the stage."

" No! No! I can..."

" Miss Duplica, please leave the premises."

Duplica's mind went blank as she heard those words.

...

Duplica sat at the bar, her fingers tapping idly against the smooth surface of the wooden counter. The room was dimly lit, with the flickering of the candles casting a warm, comforting glow across the faces of the patrons. It was a quiet night at the bar, with only a few people scattered about the room, lost in their thoughts.

Dressed in a flowing red dress that hugged her curves in all the right places, Duplica looked like a woman who had it all. Her long, dark hair fell in soft waves down her back, and her eyes sparkled with fierce determination.

But despite her glamorous exterior, Duplica's mind was consumed with thoughts of her recent failure at the audition. She had poured her heart and soul into that performance, only to be rejected in the end. It was a crushing blow, one that she wasn't sure she would ever recover from.

As she took a slow sip of the deep amber liquid in her glass, the warm, velvety flavor filled her senses, momentarily soothing her troubled mind. But the respite was short-lived, as a man approached her from across the bar.

He was tall and well-dressed, with a sharp, angular face and an air of superiority about him. Duplica felt a twinge of annoyance as he eyed her glass. "Excuse me, miss," he said, his voice laced with condescension. "Do you realize how much that liquor costs?"

Duplica raised an eyebrow, her irritation growing with each passing moment. "Yes, I do," she replied, her voice sharp. "What of it?"

The man smirked, clearly enjoying the power he held over her. "Well, after your failure at the audition today, I'm not sure if you can afford it," he said, his words like poison.

Duplica felt a surge of anger and embarrassment wash over her, but she pushed it aside, determined not to let this man get the best of her. "What do you want?" she asked, her voice cold.

The man leaned in, his eyes glinting with a predatory gleam. "I'm part of a new organization," he said, his voice low and smooth. "And I think you'd make a valuable addition to our team. With your skills, you'll never have to worry about affording the finer things in life again."

Duplica looked at him skeptically, her eyes narrowing in suspicion. "What do you want me to do?" she asked, her voice guarded.

The man smiled, and Duplica could feel the hairs on the back of her neck stand up in alarm. "Just think about it," he said. "My organization has the resources to help you achieve your dreams of standing on the world's stage. All you have to do is join us."

Duplica glanced at the card he offered her, her mind racing with uncertainty. She was intrigued by the offer, but also wary of the man's true intentions. "What's the organization's name?" she asked.

"Team Rocket," the man replied, a hint of a smile playing at the corners of his mouth.

Duplica took another sip of her drink, her mind whirling with possibilities. Could this be her chance to achieve her dreams? Or was it all just a trap, a ploy to lure her into a life of danger and deceit?

As the man continued to speak, his words were like honeyed poison in her ear.

That day, Duplica made the worst decision in her life.

[ 10 Years Later ]

[ Celadon City - Gym ]

The night was still, the moon casting a pale light over the deserted streets. In the Pokemon Gym, Erika closed the gym for the night. She was dressed in a tight-fitting, red and white-trainer outfit, her long, dark hair tied back in a ponytail. As she locked the door, she let out a small sigh and stretched her arms, the sound of her joints cracking echoing in the silent night.

Erika made her way toward the vending machines, her footsteps light and graceful. She was reaching for a snack when she caught sight of a figure leaning against the wall, his body illuminated by the soft glow of the street light. Erika's heart skipped a beat as she took in the sight of the man. He stood tall and proud, with a physique that could have easily graced the cover of a fitness magazine. He was dressed in a black, leather jacket that hugged his broad shoulders, a pair of faded jeans that clung to his toned legs, and a pair of combat boots that added an air of danger to his already striking appearance.

Erika felt her knees go weak as she stood there, staring at him in awe. He had a rugged, handsome face, with a chiseled jawline that was accentuated by the gentle stubble that hugged his face. His piercing green eyes seemed to look right through her, and Erika felt a flutter in her chest as she gazed into them. She tried to play it cool, approaching him with a flirtatious smile. "Hey there," she said, trying to sound as casual as possible. "What brings you to this side of the city?"

The man smiled back, his lips curling up into a charming grin. "I'm actually here for the Pokemon Acting competition," he said. "I'm hoping to impress the judges and take home the top prize."

Erika's smile faded as she heard this. The Pokemon Acting Competition was her lifelong dream, but her current life prevented her from pursuing that dream.

" Hey, I know this amazing bar. You want to go there."

The man leaned towards Erika with a beautiful smile.

" Oh, then lead the way."

She took the man by the hand, leading him to the back of the gym where the entrance to the secret bar was located. The door was hidden by the walls as Erika pulled her card which the door scanned before opening revealing a small, dark alleyway. They made their way inside, where they were greeted by the warm glow of dimly lit lanterns and the soft hum of music in the background. The bar was small, cozy, and intimate, with low ceilings and wooden beams that crisscrossed overhead. A group of trainers that worked in the Celadon City gym sat at the bar, laughing and chatting, their glasses clinking in the soft light.

Erika approached the bartender, ordering two drinks. She handed one to the man, raising her glass in a toast. "To new beginnings," she said, before taking a sip. The drink was smooth and sweet, and Erika felt herself relaxing as she leaned against the bar.

...

The night was drawing to a close, and Erika was feeling increasingly intoxicated. She stumbled a little as she took the man by the hand, leading him to the back of the gym.

The other trainers glanced at them before snorting.

They knew their leader's habit of doing one-night stands.

In the back of the gym was a hidden elevator that only a select few knew about, and Erika was one of them. She pushed the man inside, the door closing behind them with a soft whoosh.

As they descended, Erika could feel her heart pounding in her chest. Duplica in her Erika disguise acted like never brought anyone here before, and she wasn't sure why she was doing it now. The man seemed to sense her hesitation, and he took her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze.

The elevator doors opened, revealing a secret set of rooms. Erika pushed the man inside one of the rooms.

The man blushed and looked down and then felt two fingers hook under his chin, Duplica as Erika then pulled him a little closer and then attached her lips to the man's, the man instantly shutting his eyes and placing his hand on Erika's thigh, the man now has one hand on Erika's waist as the other was around the back of her neck, his thumb brushing over her cheek and pulling her closer.

Erika aka Duplica then pulled back a look of terror on her face. Something was wrong - the texture of the man's lips was all wrong.

Those weren't the lips of a man.

Duplica took a step back; realizing that something was wrong, her hand going to her mouth as she gasped in horror. The man's eyes glowed in the dim light, and Erika could see that they were not human at all.

All of a sudden, Duplica collapsed to the floor, unconscious, while a shiny alpha Haunter emerged from the shadows. Austin's face morphed, revealing his true identity as he touched his lips with a blush.

Haunter smirked, brandishing a photo of Austin in his disguise, appearing to kiss Erika.

" Haunter, you can't be serious."

" Kekeke."

" Come on, my lips barely touched hers. Ditto was covering my face. If anything Ditto got kissed."

" Kekekek."

" What do you want for the photo ?"

" Kekekeke."

" No, I ain't dressing like a lopunny just for you to play a prank on the walking fossil that is Lucario."

"Heheheheh," Haunter cackled, tauntingly waving the photo in front of Austin's face.

Austin stood in the room, staring down at the unconscious form of Erika, who lay on the ground.

The room was silent except for the sound of Austin's shallow breathing. Suddenly, Erika's face melted away revealing Duplica's unconscious form as Ditto lunged at Austin, its face exploding out into a snarling visage as it closed in on him.

"Not so fast!" Austin yelled, as his face melted away.

In an instant, Austin's Ditto had intercepted Duplica's Ditto in mid-air, and the two creatures grappled with each other.

"Transform!" Austin commanded, and his Ditto obliged, changing into a Xenomorph mid-air.

As the Xenomorph and Ditto clashed in mid-air, the room trembled with their fierce struggle.

Duplica's Ditto, realizing the danger it was in, quickly transformed into a Xenomorph as well. The two Xenomorphs faced off in the small bedroom, their hissing and clicking filling the room.

Duplica's Xenomorph was slightly smaller but faster, and it lunged toward Austin's Xenomorph, slashing at it with its razor-sharp claws. Austin's Xenomorph countered with its elongated tail, striking Duplica's Xenomorph in the chest and sending it flying backward.

Duplica's Xenomorph scrambled to its feet and charged forward again, this time going for a bite at the neck. Austin's Xenomorph dodged to the side and slammed its fist into Duplica's Xenomorph's back, causing it to stumble yet it chose to chargeback.

Austin's Ditto transformed into a steel wall, blocking the Xenomorph's charge. The Xenomorph growled and bashed its head against the wall, but it was no match for the sturdy steel.

The Ditto then turned into a sludge, oozing under the Xenomorph's legs and making it slip and slide on the floor. The Xenomorph roared and lunged at Ditto, but it was too slippery to catch.

In a moment of disorientation, Duplica's Xenomorph looked around to see where Ditto was hiding and pounced at what it thought was Ditto's form, but it turned out to be a trick. Ditto had transformed into a pillow, and the Xenomorph crashed into it with a thud.

Ditto then turned into a bed, trapping the Xenomorph under its soft mattress. The Xenomorph struggled and thrashed, but it couldn't escape the Ditto's grasp.

"Finish it, Ditto!" Austin commanded with urgency.

Without hesitation, Ditto transformed into a giant hammer, hovering above the trapped Xenomorph.

With one final command, Austin ordered his Ditto to finish the battle. Ditto transformed into a giant hammer, smashing down on the trapped Xenomorph with all its might. The Xenomorph let out a final screech and went still as it transformed back into a ditto, knocked out.

Austin clapped for his Ditto, who transformed back into its original form, looking away shyly as Haunter laughed at the whole spectacle.

"Good job, Ditto!" Austin said as he patted his gelatinous friend.

With a deep breath, Austin closed his eyes and focused on his aura, allowing it to expand and sense his surroundings. He felt the pulse of energy that flowed through the building, and the heartbeat of each living creature within it.

He then asked Ditto to transform him into Erika, and the creature obliged, turning Austin into a female duplicate of his opponent. Haunter laughed even harder, rolling on the ground in glee as Austin stood there in his disguise.

The transformation was perfect, down to the last detail. Austin looked just like Erika, from the flowing hair to the delicate features of her face. It was a little disconcerting, to say the least.

As they made their way through the mansion, Austin kept his senses alert, his aura acting like a sixth sense. He could feel the energy of the people around him, the passion and desire that pulsed through their bodies.

The sound of moans and whispers filled the air, as couples indulged in their most intimate fantasies. Austin coughed into his hand to snap himself out of his embarrassment as they walked out of the room and into the giant hallway.

The hallway was a sprawling expanse, with vaulted ceilings and ornate chandeliers that cast a warm golden glow over everything.

Austin was careful in his movements, his senses heightened as he tried to remain undetected.

Finally, they came to a strange door, which asked for a facial, fingerprint, and code scan. Austin could feel the energy of the door, a complex web of circuits and mechanisms that pulsed with a faint electric hum.

With a deep breath, Austin's face twisted into a scowl as his hand hit the metal door with a thunderous crash, sending shockwaves throughout the hallway as the alarms began to blare. The sound was deafening, echoing through the empty halls as people poured out of the bathrooms across the way. They were frightened, many of them screaming as they tried to find cover. Austin, meanwhile, stood motionless, his hand still on the door as he looked around at the chaos he had caused.

He stepped through the hole he had made and into the room beyond. It was a strange sight that greeted him as he walked in. The room was filled with mushrooms, of all shapes and sizes, growing from the floor and up the walls. The air was thick with visible fragments, a mist that hung in the air and swirled around him. Austin's eyes widened as he took in the scene before him.

The mushrooms were unlike anything he had ever seen before. Some were tiny, barely the size of a button, while others were as big as his head. They were of every color imaginable, from bright reds and blues to deep greens and purples. They seemed to glow in the dim light, casting an otherworldly aura over the entire room.

In the center of the room, was a shiny parasect, its body pulsing with otherworldly energy. It was a sight to behold, a creature that Austin recognized as Project Dreamland, a mutated parasect that was designed to latch onto an individual's psyche and force them into a perpetual dream-like state. The Parasect's long legs were extended, its body rising as if it were trying to reach the ceiling. Its eyes were closed as if it were in a deep meditative state.

[ Can you feel your heart burning? Can you feel the struggle within? The fear within? The struggle and fear within me are beyond anything your soul could imagine.]

The Parasect exclaimed in a guttural voice that scared Ditto into hiding behind Austin's neck.

Haunter and Austin looked at each other then looked at parasect who raised its claws; menacingly.

(~Squich~)

And Haunter swatted Parasect like a bug.

[ You cannot kill me in a way that truly matters.]

The crushed parasect exclaimed as Haunter chuckled and threw a Will-o'-wisp at the bug.

Austin ignored everything as it was what he saw behind the parasect that shocked Austin.

There, in a corner of the room, was Erika. She was on an LSD trip, her body contorted in strange, unnatural positions as she mumbled and twitched. Her eyes were wide and unseeing, her pupils dilated to the point where they seemed to take up her entire iris. She was sweating profusely, her hair matted to her face as she muttered strange, gibberish phrases.

Austin approached her slowly, his heart racing as he tried to make sense of what he was seeing. He was worried for her as he reached out and touched her arm, trying to get her to snap out of it, but she didn't respond. She was lost in her world, completely unaware of his presence.

[ Celadon City Center ]

Celadon City was bustling with activity, cars, and trucks clogging the busy streets as horns blared and drivers cursed. In the traffic, there was a particular police van that was surrounded by the chaos of the city. Inside, Domino sat contentedly, taking a big bite out of a cheeseburger as she enjoyed the relative peace of her vehicle.

Just as she was about to take another bite, the screen on her dash lit up, displaying the face of Giovanni, the head of Team Rocket. Domino's eyes went wide as she quickly set down her burger and answered the call.

" Sir, I have bad news; Project X got away before I could make any contact."

Giovanni quickly noted Domino's words.

"Domino," Giovanni said, his voice stern and commanding. "I have an important job for you."

Domino sat up straight, her attention completely focused on the man on the screen. "Yes, sir," she replied.

"I need you to go to the Celadon Gym," Giovanni continued. "There has been a disturbance there, and I need you to capture the person responsible."

Domino raised an eyebrow, her expression skeptical. "Who is it?" she asked.

"The perpetrator is currently unknown but they have taken on the face of Erika, the police have also been called by them," Giovanni replied, his tone brooking no argument. "Just go to the gym and take care of it and make sure Erika is safe, team rocket is in the last stages of our plan, we don't need any more attention than we already have"

Domino sighed, but she knew better than to question Giovanni's orders. "Understood," she said. "I'll take care of it."

" This time don't fail it."

And with that, the call ended and Domino was left alone with her thoughts as she tried to think of Project X before her eyes glowed with psychic energy as a particular set of memories played out.

"Do you want pizza, Abra ?" Domino asked as she turned towards the psychic type in the back.

Abra raised both of his hands in the air as he exclaimed, "Oh boy, pizza! Just what I needed to complete my journey toward morbid obesity. But sure, I'll take a slice. I'm not too proud to accept free food."

" I'll take that as a yes."

[ Team Rocket Headquarters ]

The dark fortress of Team Rocket's headquarters loomed menacingly over the surrounding landscape. Its imposing walls seemed to pulsate with the energy of the organization's nefarious activities, the iconic red 'R' logo scattered throughout the fortress serving as a constant reminder of the power it held.

Inside the fortress, the shadowy halls echoed with the hurried footsteps of grunts and agents, all scurrying about to complete their assigned tasks. These corridors led to a heavy set of double doors, which guarded the inner sanctum of Team Rocket's ruthless leader, Giovanni.

Giovanni's office was a luxurious affair, filled with lavish decorations and lit by the flickering glow of candles. Seated behind a grand mahogany desk, he held a report detailing the failure of Agent Domino's mission to capture the elusive Project X. The disappointment etched on his face was palpable as his fingers tensed around the edges of the paper.

Without warning, a gust of wind tore through the room, wrenching the report from Giovanni's grip and plastering it across his face. Annoyed, he peeled the papers away, only to find the unnerving sight of Mewtwo seated casually before him.

"Your knack for theatrics is unamusing," Giovanni said, his voice cold and even.

Mewtwo offered a smirk, his eyes gleaming with amusement. "Amusement is fleeting, much like the lives of you humans," he replied. "Isn't that why you make and break things, amusement; to just dilute yourself from knowing that you are meaningless in the face of the cosmos ?"

Giovanni leaned back in his chair, unfazed by Mewtwo's nihilistic perspective. "What do you want, Mewtwo?" he asked, his voice betraying a hint of impatience.

Mewtwo's expression grew contemplative as he spoke cryptically of fate and destiny.

" The strings of fate are turning, your path lies in Celadon City, Giovanni. There, you will find what you seek, and perhaps something more."

Giovanni narrowed his eyes, his curiosity piqued. "Very well. I'll follow this lead, but I expect results, Mewtwo."

Mewtwo inclined his head, his face inscrutable. "You won't be disappointed."

As Giovanni began to make arrangements for his journey, Mewtwo's thoughts were hidden from the world. Within his mind, a devious smile spread, a smile that foreshadowed the convergence of two unsuspecting pawns in the elaborate game he had orchestrated. The events that were about to unfold would change the course of their lives forever, and Mewtwo reveled in the anticipation.

Which one of the two will break first; Giovanni or Ash Ketchum?

Only time held the key to their fates.

[ Celadon City Gym ]

It was a night unlike any other in Celadon City. The sky was painted with a tapestry of stars, yet the brightness of the police vans' flashing lights overpowered them. The steady hum of activity surrounded the entrance of the Celadon City Gym as Officer Jenny stepped out of the van and onto the curb. She was immediately greeted by the chaos of reporters shouting out meaningless questions, trying to get a glimpse of what was happening behind the police barricade.

As Jenny made her way back to the entrance of the gym, she could hear the reporters shouting questions at her. "Officer Jenny, is it true that the gym leader has been kidnapped?" "Can you tell us what's going on inside the gym?"

"Do you have any leads on the perpetrator?" Jenny ignored them, as she needed to assess the situation and see what the condition of Agent Duplica is.

As she pushed her way through the throng of journalists, she could see Nurse Joy treating a few people who had suffered minor injuries. The sight of the red crosses on their white uniforms was a symbol of hope and comfort in this otherwise chaotic scene. Officer Jenny approached Nurse Joy, who was focused on her patients and barely looked up as she spoke, "It's a mess in there, Officer Jenny. A few people have been hurt, but thankfully, no one is seriously injured."

Jenny nodded and took in the scene before her. She could see that some people were being escorted by the police, their faces pale with shock and fear. She approached the closest officer and asked, "What's the situation?"

The officer turned to face her, his face grim. "The perpetrator is gone, but we've captured someone who has been identified as a missing person, Duplica. She had the possessions of Gym Leader Erika, who is currently missing."

Jenny felt her heart sink at the news.

'Oh, no !'

She pushed her way through the maze of people and police, making her way to where Duplica was being held. She found her sitting on a bench, her head hanging low, surrounded by a few officers. Jenny approached her, her eyes scanning the scene, taking in every detail.

' Looks like agent Duplica is fine.'

She could see that Duplica was a young woman, her long, curly hair cascading down her back. She was dressed in a simple blue dress, the fabric stained with dirt and tears. Her eyes were red-rimmed, and her face was streaked with tears. Jenny approached her, her hand on her holstered gun, ready to take action if needed and take out Duplica if necessary.

"Duplica," she said, her voice firm but not unkind. "Can you tell me what happened here tonight?"

Duplica looked up, her eyes meeting Jenny's. Her lips trembled as she spoke, "I don't know what happened. I was just walking by the gym, and the next thing I knew, I was being taken into custody."

Officer Jenny nodded while tapping her pen in a certain rhythm as Duplica recognized the Morse code.

" Well, miss Duplica; would you be so kind as to come with me to the station for some questioning?"

Duplica put on a scared face and nodded.

Officer Jenny quickly escorted Duplica to her car, opened the door, and gestured for Duplica to get in, but before she could get in the car herself, Looker stopped her. "What are you doing, Jenny?" he asked, his tone suspicious.

' Who is he ?'

" May I ask, only whose jurisdiction are you stopping me ?" Officer Jenny asked as Looker flashed the international police badge.

" Why is the international police on this case ?"

" Well, this is up our alley, a gym leader and the daughter of the great Amon family is missing. Tell me, what are you doing, Officer ?"

"I'm taking Duplica down to the station for further questioning," Jenny replied, her voice steady. "This is a police matter, and I don't need your interference."

Looker narrowed his eyes, studying Jenny's face. He could sense that something was off.

The tension was palpable as Looker and Jenny faced each other, their gazes locked in a heated standoff. The air was heavy with the weight of unspoken words, and the silence was only broken by the sound of their shallow breathing. It was clear that they were both determined to see this through to the end, no matter what the cost.

Jenny stood her ground, her expression resolute as if she was trying to prove that she was trying to be on the path of good but her unprofessional behavior made Looker even more suspicious of her as he took a step forward, his voice firm as he said, "Jenny, I understand that you want to help, but this is a matter for the International Police. I can't let you go off on your own like this."

Jenny stood her ground, her jaw set. "I don't need your permission, Officer Looker. I'm doing what I need to do to get to the bottom of this."

The two of them were so focused on each other that they didn't even hear the sound of the helicopter until it was almost upon them. The sudden roar of the engine broke the tension, and they both turned to look up at the sky, just as the helicopter descended towards them.

[ Celadon City - Hotel ]

The room was quiet except for the sound of the news anchor talking about the incident at Celadon City Gym on the television. Green was seated in a plush armchair, her eyes fixed on the screen as she took in the latest updates. She was deep in thought, trying to make sense of what was happening when she heard a commotion coming from the other side of the room.

She turned to see Yellow pacing back and forth, her arms wrapped tightly around Pikachu and Pichu. Yellow's face was a mask of panic, and she was muttering to herself, her eyes darting back and forth as if she were trying to find a way out of the situation.

Pikachu looked up, catching Green's eye, and begged for help with a pitiful squeak. Green shook her head, feeling a pang of sympathy for the poor Pokemon. But she knew there was nothing she could do to help.

Lucario, meanwhile, was seated at a nearby table, his eyes fixed on a game of blackjack being played by Scizor and Chansey. The metal Pokemon was winning hand after hand, his keen senses allowing him to see the cards in Chansey's deck reflected in her sunglasses. Chansey, meanwhile, was trying to hide her expressions, but it was clear that she was losing badly.

Wartortle was crying on Ivysaur who was ready to kill the water type while Charmeleon cackled as he had won a sack of berries from Wartortle.

Everyone in the room was so focused on their activities that they didn't even notice the sudden flash of light that filled the room. When it faded, they saw Austin standing there, a determined look on his face. And on his shoulders was Erika, the missing Gym Leader of Celadon City.

The room erupted into chaos as everyone rushed forward, eager to hear what had happened. Austin carefully lowered Erika to the ground, his eyes scanning the room as he tried to make sense of the situation.

Green stepped forward, her eyes fixed on Erika. "What happened?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Suddenly, the room was silenced as the news anchor on the television spoke with a tone of excitement, "And now, ladies and gentlemen, we have a special guest joining us live from Celadon City. It's none other than the former leader of Viridian City Gym and the current Minister of Finance, Lionel Giovanni!

...

The room was silenced as the news anchor on the television spoke with a tone of excitement, "And now, ladies and gentlemen, we have a special guest joining us live from Celadon City. It's none other than the former leader of Viridian City Gym and the current Minister of Finance, Lionel Giovanni!"

Lionel Giovanni stood confidently at the podium, his piercing eyes scanning the side of the road filled with journalists eagerly awaiting his answers. His tall stature and sharp features exuded a sense of power, and his impeccably tailored suit commanded respect. The reporters varied in appearance - some were seasoned journalists with graying hair and a tired demeanor, while others were fresh-faced and eager to make a name for themselves. Each held their cameras and microphones, ready to capture every word and gesture from the enigmatic Minister.

As he adjusted the microphone, everyone fell silent, waiting in anticipation for his first words. The news anchor spoke up, "Minister Giovanni, can you give us some insight into the sudden disappearance of Erika, the beloved Gym Leader of Celadon City?"

Giovanni's face darkened as he spoke, "I am deeply troubled by the disappearance of my dear friend, Erika. She is not only a valuable member of our community but also a dear friend. That is why I have personally joined the search efforts, to bring her back safely to her family and her people."

The room erupted into applause, with reporters shouting questions all at once. Camera flashes flickered like lightning, casting shadows that danced across the walls. Lionel held up his hand, and the room fell silent once again.

"I want to assure the public that we are doing everything in our power to find her. We have all the best resources available to us, and I have personally put together a task force to investigate and search for any leads. I am confident that we will find her and bring her home safely."

The news anchor interjected, "But Minister Giovanni, there have been rumors about criminal elements being involved in her disappearance. Can you comment on that?"

Giovanni's eyes hardened, "I can confirm that we are considering all possibilities and leaving no stone unturned. But I want to emphasize that it's imperative that we work together as a community to bring her home safely. This is a time for unity and not speculation."

The room erupted into applause once again. As the clapping continued, Looker noticed that a few people in the crowd were shouting and incentivizing others to clap louder, creating a contagious group mentality. It almost seemed as if these individuals had been strategically placed by Giovanni himself to elicit such reactions to his seemingly sincere words.

'Fucking politicians...' Looker thought as he left the room, not wanting to deal with this.

"I understand that many of you have questions about my own involvement in the search, and I want to make it clear that I am fully committed to finding Erika. As the former leader of Viridian City Gym and someone who has dedicated my life to the betterment of the Kantonian community, I believe it is my duty to be a part of this effort."

The room was filled with nods of agreement, and one reporter called out, "Minister Giovanni, you have been a hero in Kanto for many years. Can you share with us what drives you to be so committed to this cause?"

Giovanni's eyes softened, and a hint of a smile graced his lips. "I have been blessed with many gifts in my life, but the greatest of them all has been the opportunity to serve and help others. Kanto has given me so much, and it is my honor to give back in any way I can. Erika's disappearance is a tragedy, and it is my duty to help bring her back safely."

The room erupted into applause once again, the contagious energy and group mentality amplified by those planted among the crowd. The flashing of cameras resumed, creating a sense of urgency and importance around Giovanni's words.

As the applause began to die down, a young reporter raised her hand, hoping to get a more detailed answer from the Minister. "Sir, given the speculation surrounding the involvement of criminal elements, how do you plan to address the potential threat to public safety?"

Giovanni's expression remained calm, though his vague response left some reporters unsatisfied. "We are working closely with local law enforcement and national authorities to ensure the safety of our citizens. I cannot go into detail about specific measures, but I can assure you that we are taking this matter very seriously."

Another reporter chimed in, "Minister Giovanni, can you comment on the nature of your relationship with Erika? Some have suggested that your personal connection to her could cloud your judgment in this investigation."

Giovanni's voice remained steady, but there was a flash of "emotion" in his eyes. "Erika and I share a bond through our mutual passion for Pokémon and our dedication to the people of Kanto. Our friendship is based on trust and respect, and I assure you that it only serves to motivate me further in our search for her."

The room buzzed with whispers and murmurs, but the well-placed individuals in the crowd continued to stoke the flames of support, shouting words of encouragement and leading another round of applause.

As the press conference drew to a close, the room remained a mix of emotions. Some reporters felt inspired by Giovanni's dedication and resolve, while others remained skeptical of his intentions and the seemingly orchestrated show of support. Regardless of their opinions, they couldn't deny the impact of his presence and the weight of his words.

As the crowd dispersed, the planted individuals subtly vanished into the background, their mission accomplished. Meanwhile, the journalists left with more questions than answers.

...

Yellow stared at the television screen in disbelief as she watched Giovanni, the man she had heard so many positive things about

Green turned to Austin, hers eyes piercing as she asked, "Is he the leader of Team Rocket?"

Austin slowly nodded as Yellow's eyes widened, unable to find the words to express her shock. She had always heard that Giovanni was a respected figure, a man of integrity and power. But now, as she watched him on the screen, she realized that everything she had heard was a lie.

"We have to stop him," Yellow said, her voice filled with determination. "We have to expose him and put an end to this illegal organ harvesting system."

" Pi." Chu-Chu agreed with her trainer but Pikachu stayed quiet as he knew that things weren't that easy or his trainer would have already done it.

" Yellow, team rocket has already infiltrated the league. Even if we expose Giovanni, he can still go into hiding alongside Team Rocket."

Yellow turned to Austin, her eyes filled with confusion as she asked, " Is this why we aren't saving the Pokemon from Team Rocket? Isn't this why we're fighting?"

Austin shook his head, his expression grim as he replied, "It's not the right time." He took out his phone and began to dial a number, his fingers moving quickly over the buttons.

Yellow's brow furrowed as she watched him, her frustration growing by the moment. "What do you mean it's not the right time?" she demanded. "We can't just stand by and watch as those innocent Pokemon are taken. We have to do something!"

Yellow's frustration boiled over as she watched Austin, her hand slapping away the phone as she screamed at him. "Why isn't this the right time? Why shouldn't we help those poor Pokemon? Is this what Raticate would have wanted?"

As she uttered those words, Yellow immediately clapped her hand over her mouth, her eyes wide with shock. She had just brought up the name of her fallen companion, the one who had inspired her to fight against Team Rocket and the evil they represented.

Her eyes filled with tears as she thought of Raticate, her heart aching with a mix of anger and sorrow. She couldn't bear the thought of standing by and watching as more innocent lives were taken, just as Raticate's life had been taken.

"We have to do something," she whispered, her voice filled with emotion. "We can't just let this continue. We have to save those Pokemon, no matter what the cost."

Austin's expression softened as he looked at Yellow while picking up the phone.

He knew better than to let something like this anger him.

" Yellow, team rocket is going to launch an attack on team rocket in a month on the entirety of Kanto. More than a hundred thousand team rocket operatives have integrated into the league, the police force, the rangers, and even the Pokemon centers."

Austin's words were felt throughout the room as everyone realized the sheer scale of the mountain they were trying to climb if they wanted to get revenge on Team Rocket.

" H-How are we supposed to defeat them ?" Yellow asked as her mind went blank imagining the scale of the battles.

" Yellow, Team Rocket's takeover is something that we can only fight by destroying the head."

" So, we are exposing Giovanni?" Green asked in confusion.

" No, Giovanni is going to launch an attack on Silph Co. during their nationwide attack. They want to gain the master ball; a secret project of Silph Cooperation that would allow a trainer to capture a full-blooded legendary and they are going to use it on the legendary Pokémon that attacked the SS. Anne. If we expose Giovanni's relationship with team rocket now, he can go into hiding and then we'll never know when he is going to strike."

Austin went to Yellow's eye level," I know it's hard that we can't expose the evils of team rocket. My heart yearns to save those Pokemon from team rocket but..."

Austin felt Yellow's delicate hand grasp his own, and as he looked into her eyes, he could see the tears welling up, threatening to spill over. Her voice was laced with desperation as she implored, "Ash, you're the smartest person I know. Please, I beg of you, think of a plan to save those Pokémon. I can still hear their cries for help, their emotions of defeat and fear. They need us, and I can't bear to stand by and do nothing. Please, save them."

Her voice broke on the last word, the emotion in it too much to bear. Austin felt a lump form in his throat as he saw the pain etched on Yellow's face. He realized that through her she could feel their emotions and understand their pain, and it was tearing her apart.

The melancholic ambiance of the room was suddenly broken by Lucario's cough. Everyone turned to him, surprised by the interruption. Lucario's eyes sparkled with mischief, as he knew he had their attention.

"Well, I think it's the right time to say this, but Wartortle has a plan," Lucario announced, watching the reactions of his friends.

"Wartortle!" Wartortle exclaimed, clearly excited. He poked Ivysaur, who raised a few drawings of his plan toward Austin with his vines.

"I don't know," Austin questioned, his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. Pikachu tilted his head, equally puzzled by the drawings, his cheeks sparking with uncertainty.

"I say, we do it," Yellow chimed in, her eyes shining with enthusiasm.

"So, does my vote count?" Green asked with a smirk as she set down Erika.

"Yeah, let's put it up for a vote. Who here thinks we should go with Wartortle's plan?" Austin suggested, his eyes scanning the room.

Almost immediately, everyone raised their paws and hands in favor of the plan. Austin couldn't help but notice Green's hesitation and raised an eyebrow at her.

"Ahuh," Austin grunted before glancing at Green. "Why didn't you vote for the plan?"

"I was waiting," Green replied coyly, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

"For what?"

"For you to buy my vote." Green grinned teasingly.

"Haha, really funny," Austin said, rolling his eyes.

"No, I am serious," Green insisted, her grin never faltering.

"So, what's the price?"

"10,000."

"Nope."

"Fine, then I'll vote against you," Green huffed, crossing her arms.

"Pretty sure that doesn't matter."

"Of course, it does. We live in a democracy," Green argued, her playful tone persisting.

Austin shook his head, chuckling at Green's antics, and turned to Wartortle. "So, mind explaining the plan?"

"War, War, War, War," Wartortle chimed, his expression animated as he tried to convey his plan.

Seeing the clarity on every Pokémon's face, Austin, Yellow, and Green turned to Lucario, who was casually reading his magazine, seemingly uninterested.

"Is there chocolate on my face?" Lucario asked with a sigh, clearly trying to avoid the conversation.

"No," Austin replied, slightly annoyed.

"Good."

"Oi, living breathing fossil, translate what Wartortle said?" Austin demanded, growing increasingly impatient.

"War, war, war," Lucario responded lazily.

"Really funny, Lucario," Austin said sarcastically, narrowing his eyes.

"Hey, I'm not lying. That's what the turtle said."

"War?"

"Yes."

"Yeah, that's not a plan."

"Tell that to the turtle."

"Wartortle, this is not a plan," Austin said firmly, trying to reason with the Pokémon.

"War, Wartortle, Wartortle," Wartortle replied, seemingly offended, his eyes narrowing and his posture defensive.

"Lucario, translate," Austin insisted, looking at his friend expectantly.

"Do I have to?" Lucario whined, rolling his eyes.

"Yes," Austin said, his tone stern.

"Fine," Lucario sighed, finally giving in.

The room was silent as all the Pokémon and trainers looked at Wartortle in shock. Yellow was the first to break the silence, her voice filled with determination. "I agree with the plan. Let's do this!"

Green was struggling to contain her laughter, her body shaking with silent giggles. Lucario, Pikachu, and many others, on the other hand, were laughing their asses off, the sight of Wartortle's proposal too funny to contain. Wartortle had proposed that they dress up as superheroes and lead the police to the Team Rocket organ business using Erika as a target.

Austin, however, had a different reaction even though the plan was well thought out. He still felt like killing the Water type, who had already drawn the hero costumes and come up with the names for some reason.

Just then, Erika, who was still tripping on LSD, suddenly made a sound that scared Musharna and Chansey. The two Pokémon jumped in surprise, their eyes wide with fear.

"Is she okay?" Yellow asked, her voice filled with concern as Green poked Erika.

"Yes, but she's not in a good state," Green replied.

"No, she's not," Austin agreed.

"She's rich, right?" Green asked, smirking at Austin.

Austin narrowed his eyes and nodded. "Don't try to steal anything that could be linked back to us."

"Awe, do I look like I would do something like that?" Green responded innocently, batting her eyes.

"Yes," Austin retorted without hesitation.

...

Meanwhile, Lucario was baited into approaching Erika with the promise of the chocolate present in her purse, his paw extended towards her. However, before he could reach her, she suddenly threw up all over him. Lucario's eyes nearly bulged out of his head as he recoiled in disgust, the stench of the vomit overpowering.

Just then, he heard laughter behind him and turned to see Ninjask and Wartortle giggling uncontrollably. Lucario's glare was intense as he took in the sight of the two Pokémon laughing at him.

Wartortle, sensing the danger, quickly retracted into his shell while Ninjask tried to fly away. However, Lucario was too quick for him and caught him mid-flight.

"Any other words?" Lucario growled, his grip on Ninjask tight.

Ninjask squeaked out in fear, "Your tyrannical rule will fall !"

"Well, as a tyrant, I decree that you get punched in the face," Lucario replied with a smirk. Before Ninjask could respond, Lucario punched him, then tossed him like a basketball into a nearby trash can. Pikachu and the other Pokémon clapped and cheered as Ninjask landed with a thud.

Lucario turned to Wartortle, who was still hiding in his shell.

Pikachu poked Lucario as the aura Pokemon turned towards the electric rat who handed him one of Austin's consoles that he had bought for Wartortle and Ninjask.

" What am I supposed to do with this rectangular contraption?"

" Pika Pi."

" You could have just said that."

" Pika Pi, Pi, Achu"

" Why would I need a reference to jump on Wartortle?"

" Pika."

" Pikachu, I am not that old."

" Pi."

" Yes, technically I am 500+ but..."

" Chu."

" Keep talking rat, and you be the next to jump on."

Pikachu took his paws and made a motion of zipping his mouth shut.

" Good," Lucario said as he jumped on Wartortle like a certain turtle-stomping plumber.

"Boing!"

The sound reverberated through the room, causing more laughter among the Pokémon.

Meanwhile, Austin, Yellow, and Green were huddled together, deep in discussion about the plan that Wartortle had presented. Yellow was the first to speak up, her eyes shining with excitement.

"I think this plan is perfect," she exclaimed. "It's going to be a wild ride! Just think about it: the costumes, the drama, the epic takedown of Team Rocket! What could be more thrilling?"

Austin, on the other hand, was not so thrilled. He pinched his nose and turned to Green, a look of disbelief on his face.l

"Do you want to take my place?" he asked a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

Green laughed, "Nah, I'd rather die than get caught up in that horrid fashion."

" Hey, they are cool." Yellow countered.

" They are lame." Austin and Green said at the same time causing Yellow to grumble.

" What do you guys know about cool ?"

Austin raised an eyebrow, "10,000?"

Green countered, "100,000."

"Absolutely not," Austin replied, his tone final.

Green shrugged, "Then good luck, Mr. Superhero."

As the trio continued discussing the plan, they began to imagine how the whole operation would play out. Yellow couldn't contain her excitement, practically bouncing on her toes. "Imagine the look on Giovanni's face when we bust their operation! Priceless!"

Yellow further added, "And just think of all the Pokémon we'll save in the process."

Austin sighed, finally giving in to their enthusiasm. "Fine, I'll go along with the plan, but if anything goes wrong, I'm blaming Wartortle."

Yellow clapped her hands, "Deal! Now, let's get ready for the greatest superhero debut ever!"

Yellow paused and turned to Austin with a blush on her face. "So, are you going to take my measurements?" she asked with a hint of shyness.

Austin and Green exchanged glances, both sweating a little from the unexpected request. Sensing their intense gazes, Yellow nervously chuckled and tried to divert their attention.

"Look, a living, breathing fossil!" she exclaimed, pointing at the sky.

Austin glanced at Lucario, who was busy trying to clean his fur from the ketchup that Pikachu's dirty, ketchup-covered paws had left behind. He shook his head, unamused by Yellow's attempt at distraction. "Really, her too?"

He turned back to Yellow, who was now pretending to be asleep. Her exaggerated snoring couldn't hide the blush that was still present on her face.

"Yellow, you do know that we're going to use Dittos for the costumes, right?" Austin asked, raising an eyebrow.

Yellow nodded, her eyes still closed, as Green stifled a giggle.

[ Celadon City - Gym ]

The night sky over Celadon City was illuminated by the flickering lights of police cars and the harsh glare of flashlights from reporters as they gathered around the broken Celadon City Gym. The atmosphere was tense, buzzing with curiosity and anticipation.

Lionel Giovanni, the notorious leader of Team Rocket, was trying to defuse the situation with the reporters as they bombarded him with questions and tried to get an exclusive interview. His face remained stoic and composed, betraying no emotion.

Suddenly, Giovanni sensed something; a group of powerful, massive auras that were difficult to identify, as if they were hidden behind some curtains. He furrowed his brow, trying to pinpoint the source of these mysterious energies.

"Mr. Giovanni, do you have any comment on the new bill that has been passed banning interspecies marriages between humans and Pokemon in Hoenn?" a persistent reporter asked, shoving a microphone in his face.

Giovanni ignored the reporter as he turned to face the top of the building, his senses still focused on the elusive auras.

Inside the crowd of reporters, Leaf Green shouted, "What is that?" as she pointed towards the building's rooftop, drawing everyone's attention away from Giovanni and towards the spectacle above.

On the rooftop of the Celadon City Gym, a Lucario stood tall, accompanied by two individuals dressed in striking superhero attire. The female was dressed in a skintight suit that was a combination of white and yellow, adorned with lightning bolts on her arms and legs. Her long, flowing hair was styled in a bun and held in place with a headband that also bore a lightning bolt symbol. The male was dressed in a blue and red suit that was reminiscent of a thunderbolt. His muscular physique was accentuated by the tight-fitting suit, and his cape billowed in the wind behind him, giving him an imposing presence.

The female nudged the male, who let out a resigned sigh before the duo performed their superhero introduction, their voices booming with confidence and determination.

"Greetings, citizens of Celadon City!" the male proclaimed. "We are the protectors of the innocent, the defenders of truth and justice, the guardians of this great city! I am Thunderstrike, and this is my partner, Lightningbolt!"

The crowd was stunned as they listened to the superhero introduction of Thunderstrike and Lightningbolt. The male continued, "We've come here tonight to bring an end to the evil that plagues our city and restore peace to Celadon City!"

However, as the duo were high up on the rooftop, their words were lost on the crowds below. The spectators could only see their animated gestures, but their voices were barely audible over the cacophony of the scene.

Green facepalmed, realizing the flaw in their grand entrance. "Idiots, I live with idiots," she muttered, shaking her head in disbelief at the oversight.

The people whispered amongst themselves, trying to make sense of what was happening. Some cupped their hands over their ears, trying to hear better, while others shook their heads, unable to make out a single word. The scene was comical as the crowds tried to decipher what the duo on the rooftop were saying. One person jokingly whispered to their friend, "I think they're reciting a weather forecast up there." Another added, "Or maybe they're practicing for a stage performance." The laughter and chuckles rippled through the crowd, making the situation lighthearted even in the midst of the chaos.

" Oie, I think the crowd is making fun of you two dumbasses," Lucario said as he gazed upon Yellow and Austin.

" Should we do another dance ?" Yellow innocently asked while Austin who closes to throwing himself off the building out of embarrassment.

Lucario sighed and kicked Thunderstrike off the rooftop, sending him plummeting toward the ground. The crowd gasped in horror as they watched the man fall towards the pavement below. However, as Thunderstrike reached the ground, he landed on a car in a superhero-style show of strength, revealing himself to everyone. The car crumpled under his weight, but Thunderstrike emerged unscathed, eliciting awe, fear, and shock from the crowd.

Lightning Bolt stood on the rooftop, looking down at the scene below.

" Do a speech ?!" Yellow exclaimed but Austin just sighed and proclaimed, "I know where Erika is! We'll save her and bring an end to Team Rocket's evil once and for all!"

Looker, stepped forward and asked, "Where is she? No, the better question is how do you know ?"

Thunderbolt snapped his fingers, and Lucario jumped down from the rooftop, landing on the ground beside Thunderstrike.

" Ever heard of the Aura Pokémon, Lucario "

[ Pallet Town ]

The night had blanketed Pallet Town in a cloak of darkness, punctuated only by the flickering streetlights and the occasional passing car. A gentle breeze carried the scent of freshly cut grass, while crickets chirped in the background. A lone figure walked down the quiet street, the tap-tap of their footsteps echoing in the stillness.

As they approached the edge of town, the figure caught sight of a small, cozy house nestled among the trees. The windows were aglow with warm light, and the sound of laughter drifted out into the night.

Inside the house, Delia Ketchum was helping Daisy Oak set up her podcast studio. Daisy was fussing over a tangle of wires and microphones, while Delia patiently walked her through the setup process.

"Okay, so this cable goes into the mixer, and then this one goes into the laptop," Delia explained, pointing to each component in turn. "And then you just hit record and you're good to go!"

Daisy nodded, her brow furrowed in concentration. "Okay, got it. And what about the headphones? Do I need to wear them?"

Delia smiled. "No, those are just for me. I'll be monitoring the audio to make sure everything sounds good."

As the two women chatted, Professor Oak sat on the couch, his eyes fixed on the TV which showed quite the footage from Celadon City.

...

The police barricade loomed before the intrepid reporter, Jack Thompson, its grimy metal surface gleaming in the harsh fluorescent light. Beyond it, the figures of Austin and Yellow in their superhero costumes loomed, flanked by Giovanni and Looker. The wind whipped around them, sending newspapers and debris swirling through the air.

Jack's heart raced as he raised his microphone and called out to them. "Excuse me, Thunderbolt, Lightningstrike, can I ask you a few questions?" he shouted, his voice echoing through the empty street. The sound of his own voice seemed to hang in the air, as though even the wind had paused to listen.

Austin turned his head and narrowed his eyes, while Yellow flinched at the sudden noise. Giovanni and Looker exchanged a glance but said nothing. The atmosphere was tense, and Jack could feel the weight of their gazes on him.

The reporter took a step closer, his hand outstretched through the metal bars. "I'm Jack Thompson from the Daily Bugle. We've been following your exploits for weeks," he said, his voice wavering slightly under the pressure.

Yellow turned to Austin as she whispered, "Were there superheroes before us in Celadon? Did we steal someone else's superhero identity? Am I going to get an arch nemesis?"

"No, for all and I don't think we have any worries about being sued for copyright," Austin replied.

"Awe, I wanted an arch nemesis and what's copyright?" Yellow asked, curiosity piqued.

"Pretty sure, you have an arch nemesis."

"I have ?"

"Yes, it's called not Bologna."

"Why ?"

"Try to speak the word."

"Bolonga."

" No."

"Bolongna."

" No."

" Oh my Mew, you are right. Bologna is my arch nemesis."

"Wow, you actually spoke it correctly this time and as for the copyright, I'll explain later," Austin said, his focus returning to the reporter.

"Can you give us a comment on the recent attacks?" Jack asked, trying to maintain his professionalism despite the nerves threatening to overwhelm him.

Austin scowled, his arms crossed over his chest. "No comment," he growled.

"Maybe we should at least hear what he has to say," Yellow said, her voice soft and hesitant.

Austin snorted dismissively. "No."

The reporter shook his head, a look of frustration crossing his face. "I'm just trying to get the truth out there. The public has a right to know what's going on."

Giovanni stepped forward, his eyes cold and calculating. "There is a time and place for journalism, but is it appropriate when it obstructs the authorities from taking action?"

Jack's hand tightened around his microphone, his knuckles turning white. "I'm not leaving until I get a statement from them," he said, his voice rising.

Looker stepped forward, his hand on his hip. "I'm afraid you don't have a choice. This is a restricted area, and we can't allow you to interfere with an ongoing investigation."

The reporter glared at them, his eyes blazing with defiance. "Fine," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "I'll leave. But mark my words, the truth will come out one way or another."

Austin, in his Lightningstrike costume, scowl deepened, and he took a step forward. "You want a comment? Here's your damn comment." With lightning-fast reflexes, he snatched the camera out of the reporter's hand and crushed it in his palm.

As the TV screen went black, Daisy Oak's jaw dropped. "Grandpa, did you see that?" she asked excitedly.

"Yes," Professor Oak replied, a hint of concern in his voice.

"I think I found my first guest on my podcast!" Daisy exclaimed with a smile, her enthusiasm undimmed by the tense confrontation she had just witnessed. Professor Oak and Delia exchanged worried glances.

The group moved through the dimly lit alleyway in silence, the tension palpable. Their footsteps echoed softly, as the shadows seemed to swallow them. Giovanni's voice broke the quiet, calm but firm as he spoke to Austin.

"So, what pushed you into this superhero lifestyle?"

Austin cleared his throat, feeling the weight of Looker and the other officers' gazes as they turned their attention towards him. "Well, my tale begins as any other. I was just an ordinary high school student living in New York City. I was a science whiz and a bit of a social outcast, often getting bullied at school."

His voice carried the hint of a distant memory as he continued. "One day, I went on a school field trip to a science lab, where I was bitten by a radioactive homeless man."

"Homeless man?" Giovanni's brow furrowed, clearly questioning Austin's sanity. Yellow and Lucario exchanged amused glances, struggling to suppress their laughter as Austin confidently motioned his hands in an arc.

"Radioactive homeless man," Austin corrected Giovanni, emphasizing the word. "This bite gave me incredible powers, such as a heightened sense of survival and resourcefulness, able to find food and shelter, and the most important power of all..."

He paused for dramatic effect, drawing everyone's eyes to him.

"Testicular Cancer."

Looker and the others nearly choked on their own saliva, their expressions a mixture of shock and disbelief.

Unfazed, Austin continued. "At first, I used my newfound powers for personal gain by creating a meth empire but apparently you can't justify crime just because you have cancer. But when my beloved Uncle Ben was killed by my arch nemesis, Dildo-phene, whom I had the opportunity to stop earlier but didn't, I realized the importance of using his powers responsibly. From that moment on, I vowed to protect the innocent and fight crime as ..." Austin paused and turned to Yellow.

"What was my superhero name?"

"Thunderbolt."

"I thought that was you."

"Oh, yeah, so you are Lightningstrike."

"I vowed to protect the innocent and fight crime as Lightningstrike by embodying my late uncle's famous words, 'Once you go Latina, you don't need Aquafina.'"

As Austin finished his tale, Yellow listened intently. She started clapping, her enthusiasm genuine. Giovanni and the others, however, were left speechless, their faces a mix of confusion, amusement, and disbelief at the absurdity of Austin's origin story.

...

"Lightningstrike, if you want to continue to protect the innocents, you must maintain a positive image in the media."

Austin's eyes rolled in response. "Whatever, old man. I can sense her aura from downtown. Let's go."

Looker nodded in agreement. "Understood. Let's move out."

Lucario led the way as they rushed towards the downtown area, with Austin in the lead. As they got closer, he slowed to a stop, scanning the streets. "She's close," he said in a low voice.

Following his lead, they turned down a dark alleyway where Lucario led the way. Austin pointed to a small pile of debris in the corner, and Giovanni maintained his composure," What is this? Is it worth investigating?"

Looker picked up a headband, narrowing his eyes as he inspected it. Meanwhile, Austin suggested checking the security camera mounted on the wall. "We can review the footage. Maybe she was caught on camera," he said.

...

Inside the dimly lit shop, the tension was palpable as Giovanni's voice remained calm yet insistent. "Hmm, a great plan, but I must ask. What made you come to this case, and why haven't we heard of you?"

Austin simply shrugged, his demeanor unfazed by Giovanni's challenge. "Well, Mr. Mafia Boss, I recently gained my superpowers from the homeless man."

"How recently?"

"Like an hour ago."

"And you made a meth empire, an arch nemesis, and your uncle got killed." Giovanni couldn't help but scoff, trying to sow the seed of distrust within the police for Austin, who remained indifferent.

"Yes." Austin's voice was filled with confidence, his eyes never leaving Giovanni's. He suddenly picked up the phone, causing Looker and the others to instinctively reach for their holsters.

"Hey, good news!" Austin exclaimed, his tone unexpectedly enthusiastic. Yellow's curiosity was piqued, and she asked, "What is it?"

"My uncle didn't get killed, he just had post-nut clarity syndrome."

Looker, Giovanni, and the others stared at Austin in disbelief, their jaws dropping in unison. It was hard to say whether they were more shocked by his revelation or the casual way he'd delivered it. Lucario shook his head, an expression of amusement on his face. "He's enjoying this way too much," he muttered to himself.

" Are you telling the truth ?" Giovanni growled as he placed his hand on Austin's shoulder trying to sense through Ditto and read Austin's signature.

" Of course I am but I'm still the one who can sense her aura, so maybe back off, Al Capone-looking motherfucker."

Looker interjected, his tone calm and measured. "Let's focus on the task at hand, gentlemen. We need to find Erika before it's too late."

They quickly made their way to a nearby security office, where they found a few police officers reviewing the footage. "Did you see anything?" Austin asked, his eyes scanning the screen.

One of the officers nodded. "Yeah, we spotted her. She was here about half an hour ago."

Austin grinned, his eyes lighting up with excitement. "That's all I needed to know. Let's move out."

They quickly made their way back to the alleyway, where they found Yellow, aka Lightningstrike, sleeping on the ground. Austin approached her, nudging her awake. "Did you purify the headband?" he asked.

Yellow rubbed her eyes, yawning. "Yeah, I did. Why?"

Austin grinned. "Good. I can properly pinpoint Erika's location now."

Giovanni's voice was composed, but his curiosity was piqued. "Quiet fascinating, but does that mean my studies into the art of aura were false."

" Yes." Austin blankly answered back.

Looker shot him a knowing look. "That's enough, Giovanni. We need to focus on finding Erika."

Austin stood in the middle of the room, a headband clutched in his hand. He closed his eyes, focusing on the energy pulsing through the object. As he swayed to an unheard beat, his movements began to mimic the fluidity of the iconic moonwalk.

His body glided across the floor with an otherworldly grace, as if he was being guided by a higher power. With each slide of his feet, the aura around him grew stronger, pulsing with electric energy that crackled in the air. He moved effortlessly, his body flowing as he channeled the energy of the headband.

For a moment, he seemed to disappear into his own world, lost in the dance as the world around him faded away. But then, with a sudden burst of energy, he completed his moonwalk with a dramatic spin, his feet landing firmly on the ground as he let out a triumphant yell.

As he stood there, the headband glowed with an intense energy, and Austin grinned, his eyes shining with excitement. "I've got her," he said, his voice ringing with confidence.

"Where?" Looker asked while Giovanni's eyes scanned the glistening aura around the headband.

Austin nodded, his eyes scanning the area. "She's at the landfill outside of Celadon City," he said, pointing towards a nearby map.

Giovanni's jaw dropped, his eyes widening in shock.

Lucario shook his head, his expression pained.

"He's enjoying this way too much," Lucario muttered to himself, casting a glance at Yellow, who was peacefully sleeping, using his arm as a pillow.

The night was dark and ominous, the thick clouds covering the moon only allowed for glimpses of its eerie glow to cast shadows over the forest trail that surrounded Celadon City. The sound of police sirens echoed through the woods, a clear indication that something had gone wrong. The vehicles sped through the winding path towards a landfill on the outskirts of the city, their flashing lights illuminating the trees like a strobe. Amongst the chaos, Giovanni, the notorious leader of Team Rocket, sat in one of the cars, his expression a mask of seething anger. He tapped his fingers impatiently on the armrest, waiting for his operatives to establish a connection.

As he waited, his eyes fell on a briefcase sitting beside him, its appearance strikingly different from any other he had seen before. Its metallic exterior was covered in various dials and locks, and its weight was heavier than a typical briefcase, suggesting that its contents were not ordinary.

Giovanni reached out to open it. As he twisted the dials and punched in the correct code, the briefcase clicked open, revealing its contents.

Giovanni's breath caught in his throat as he beheld what lay inside.

The briefcase was filled with canisters of deuterium all around an ultraball, and the air around the ultraball had solidified into ice from the sheer cold emanating from the entity inside it.

"Something is interfering with the signal, sir. I don't know what it could be," the driver said, his voice quivering.

Giovanni's eyes narrowed as he glared at his driver. He had no time for incompetence, especially not now, with one of his biggest bases being exposed. The realization that the authorities had found out about the organ harvesting ring in his possession only made his fury grow. He turned his gaze back to the briefcase, contemplating the weight of his next move. Should he kill the authorities and those two superheroes to ensure the secrecy of his operations?

...

Suddenly, Giovanni's attention was drawn toward the sky, where he sensed the presence of two powerful Pokémon appearing high above the horizon. Their distinct auras emanated an intensity that captured his interest, and he realized they were coming from the direction of the landfill. A surge of suspicion and concern coursed through his veins, prompting him to take action and investigate the mysterious duo.

With a fierce determination in his eyes, Giovanni reached for a PokeBall at his side. He gripped it tightly, feeling the cold metal press against his skin. With a swift, practiced motion, he flicked it open, releasing a burst of white light that materialized into a Beedrill. The imposing bug-type Pokémon buzzed menacingly, its wings beating with furious energy as it awaited its master's command.

"Go," Giovanni commanded, his voice low and menacing, his expression hardening with resolve. "Find those Pokémon and bring them to me. I must know their intentions."

The Beedrill, understanding the urgency of its mission, took off into the sky, its wings slicing through the night air with precision and determination. It quickly gained altitude, navigating the darkness as it began its pursuit of the Pikachu and Pidgeot.

Meanwhile, Giovanni watched from below, his eyes glowing with an amber light that seemed to pierce the night itself. His psychic powers, a gift granted to him by the mysterious Viridian Forest, allowed him to establish a mental link with his Beedrill. Through this connection, he could see what the Pokémon saw, sense what it sensed, and relay commands with the speed of thought.

As the Beedrill drew closer to its quarry, Giovanni's anticipation grew. He could feel the powerful auras of the two Pokémon growing stronger, and his curiosity burned hotter than ever.

...

As the police vehicles sped towards the landfill, the front car was driven by Looker, who kept his focus on the road while periodically glancing at Austin and Yellow. The landfill loomed in the distance, an ominous presence that hinted at the challenges they were about to face.

Yellow clenched her fist, her eyes shining with fierce determination. She could sense the mind-numbing presence beside Giovanni from where she sat, and it filled her with a sense of unease. She turned to Austin, who sat beside her, and he nodded gravely, silently acknowledging the gravity of the situation.

Looker, gripping the steering wheel tightly, glanced at Austin and asked, "Your backstory is quite a comedic tale, so mind telling me the truth?" A heavy silence enveloped the car as Austin exclaimed, "We are against Team Rocket."

"And your powers?" Looker inquired, his eyes narrowing.

"From birth, I guess," Austin replied, trying to sound casual.

"Both of you?" Looker asked, a hint of skepticism in his voice.

"Yes," Austin confirmed.

"So, what's in that landfill?" Looker questioned, his curiosity piqued.

"Something that Giovanni wants to hide," Austin answered cryptically.

"What does Giovanni have to do with this?" Looker's voice held a mixture of disbelief and curiosity.

"He is the leader of Team Rocket," Austin explained, his voice serious and unwavering.

Looker's mind went blank as he heard those words. "That is quite the accusation," he said cautiously.

"You want proof?" Austin challenged.

"Well, I am an advocate for innocent until proven otherwise beyond a shadow of a doubt," Looker replied, his tone taking on a more formal quality.

Austin raised his palm, and suddenly, Lucario placed a hand on Looker's shoulder. In an instant, Looker was filled with a sense of intense focus as Lucario shared his aura vision. Looker saw a vision of the forest, the cars, and Giovanni, accompanied by a trace of primordial aura.

As the vision faded away, Looker broke out in a cold sweat. "Want more proof?" Austin asked as Looker tried to calm his racing heart.

"Fine, I'll believe you," Looker conceded, his expression growing even more serious. "What can I do to help?"

"Tell all the cars to keep moving and keep this puppy steady," Austin instructed, his voice resolute.

"Oh, before I forget, give this to Lance and no one else," Austin added, his voice sharp and urgent. Looker nodded, pocketing the USB drive as he watched Austin and Yellow exchange a determined glance.

"Ready," Austin declared.

"Ready as I'll ever be," Yellow affirmed. Just then, an Abra teleported inside the car and, with a cheeky grin, proclaimed, "Hey officer, just teleported in here from another dimension, you wouldn't believe the lag I experienced on the way. Anyway, how's your day going?"

"Abra," it continued, "Whoa, easy there, turbo! No need to crank up the volume. Let's just take a deep breath and dial it back down to a comfortable level. We can have a civilized conversation, no problem."

With a mischievous glint in its eyes, Abra grabbed Yellow's hand. "Woohoo, yeah, baby, let's go!" it cheered as it teleported away with Yellow in tow.

Simultaneously, Lucario and Austin channeled their aura into their feet, blasting the car door off its hinges. "Come on, I just got this car," Looker complained, but Austin merely motioned toward the communication system. Looker nodded and sent out a voice message to the other cars, instructing them to keep driving forward.

...

Lucario jumps out of the car.

The air crackled with tension as Lucario's paws began to glow with a brilliant blue aura. The aura intensified with each passing second until it seemed to almost be radiating off of him in waves.

As the aura grew stronger, Lucario's breathing became deeper and more intense, his focus honing in on the sphere of energy he was creating. Sweat glistened on his forehead, his muscles tense as he concentrated on forming the perfect sphere.

Finally, with a burst of energy, the aura sphere took shape. It was a thing of beauty, a shimmering blue orb that crackled with raw power. Lucario lifted it above his head, a look of fierce determination etched on his face.

...

In the vast expanse of the open sky, an epic battle was underway. Beedrill, the powerful bug-type Pokemon with a menacing appearance, was zooming through the air at breakneck speeds, relentlessly pursuing the nimble Pidgeot. The bird-like Pokemon, with her keen senses and impressive agility, was using every trick in her arsenal to dodge the ferocious attacks of Beedrill. Their high-speed aerial dance was a sight to behold, a testament to the power and skill of these two formidable opponents.

As the two Pokemon battled it out, their movements formed intricate patterns in the clouds above. Onlookers from below would be mesmerized by the breathtaking display, a dazzling show of prowess and precision. Beedrill's stinger glowed ominously as it prepared to strike, launching a fierce X-scissor attack toward Pidgeot. The bird Pokemon, with a powerful flap of her wings, soared upwards and narrowly evaded the devastating attack. The X-scissor left a giant X-shaped mark in the clouds, evidence of its immense strength and a chilling reminder of the danger that awaited Pidgeot should she be struck.

Suddenly, Beedrill spotted Pikachu and Pidgeot's trainer beneath him, and without a second thought, he dove down toward them with murderous intent. Pidgeot, sensing the danger her trainer was in, quickly snatched up a Wacan berry from the ground, preparing herself for the oncoming attack.

Pikachu, keenly aware of the threat, wasted no time in summoning his powerful thunder attack. His cheeks sparked with electricity as he focused his energy, and then unleashed a brilliant display of raw power. The sky was lit up with a blinding flash as the powerful thunder attack rocketed towards Beedrill, who was still charging towards them.

As the attack hit Beedrill, Giovanni, who was watching the battle from his car down below, was taken aback by the sheer power on display. His driver, equally shocked, lost control of the vehicle, causing it to veer off the road and crash into the surrounding foliage. Giovanni's heart raced as he realized that the situation was rapidly spiraling out of control.

With an ominous crackle in the air, Giovanni turned towards his car, only to see a colossal aura sphere heading straight for him. The sphere, a deadly mass of concentrated energy, grew larger and larger, filling his vision as it hurtled toward him with terrifying accuracy. The impact was catastrophic, shattering the windshield of the car and sending Giovanni reeling back in his seat, his face a mask of pain and disbelief.

The consequences of the powerful attack were evident in the mangled remains of Giovanni's car. As he struggled to regain his composure, he couldn't help but feel the weight of his actions and the realization that his pursuit of power had led to this moment of vulnerability.

...

High up in the sky, Beedrill was momentarily distracted by the commotion down below. Its compound eyes locked onto the wreckage of Giovanni's car and the powerful aura sphere that had wreaked havoc on its surroundings. That split-second distraction was all Abra and Fearow needed to seize the opportunity and execute their plan to take down the formidable Beedrill.

With lightning-fast reflexes, Fearow swooped down and delivered a series of swift aerial ace attacks, striking Beedrill with the precision of a master tactician. The bug-type Pokemon reeled from the unexpected barrage, struggling to regain its bearings in the midst of the relentless assault. Meanwhile, Abra focused its psychic energy and telekinetically hurled a specially-designed metallic syringe toward Beedrill's body.

The syringe, a product of extensive research and engineering, was designed to pierce even the toughest exoskeleton, allowing the payload it carried to infiltrate the target's system. As the needle penetrated Beedrill's chitinous armor, the modified poison known as Project Venom was unleashed, swiftly spreading throughout the bug-type's body.

Despite Beedrill's natural immunity to poison due to its typing, Project Venom was engineered to be particularly potent and capable of overcoming this immunity. The poison was designed to target and disrupt the specific biological processes that provided Beedrill with its resistance, rendering it vulnerable to the toxic onslaught.

Beedrill let out a blood-curdling screech as it plummeted to the ground, its body wracked with pain and convulsing from the effects of the insidious poison. The once-mighty Pokemon was now a mere shell of its former self, a testament to the devastating power of Project Venom.

Pikachu, Pidgeot, Abra, and Fearow shared a look of determination and relief, knowing that their teamwork had led to the successful takedown of the fearsome Beedrill. They understood that there was still much work to be done and many challenges to face, but for now, they had achieved a small victory in their ongoing struggle. With a shared nod, Abra teleported the group away, leaving the chaos behind them as they moved on to the next stage of their mission.

Mega Evolution is a power that has been available to Pokemon trainers for hundreds of years but the nobles of Kalos and the tribes of Hoenn refused to ever give their sacred knowledge to the general public until two decades before the present day when Professor Oak witnessed the phenomenon done by a prodigal trainer who would be known to the world by the name of Red Ketchum.

This "discovery" of Mega Evolution caused Professor Oak and his student Professor Augustine Sycamore to pour years of research into the phenomenon.

Professor Oak's actions and contributions caused massive interest in the field of mega evolution by the league and out of all the outlandish theories; two are widely regarded as the best theories to explain mega evolution.

One way to explain Mega Evolution was through the concept of phenotypic plasticity, which is the ability of an organism to exhibit different physical and behavioral traits in response to changes in its environment or other factors. In the case of Mega Evolution, we would imagine that the Pokemon's body responds to certain stimuli in the battle environment (such as high levels of energy or stress) by triggering a series of physiological and biochemical changes that result in a temporary transformation achieved by the activation of certain ancestral genes that link some species of pokemon to Legendary Pokémon. This transformation may involve changes in the Pokemon's physical appearance, as well as its abilities and stats.

Another way to explain Mega Evolution was through the concept of epigenetics, which is the study of changes in gene expression that do not involve changes to the underlying DNA sequence. Epigenetic changes can be triggered by various factors such as environmental stress, diet, and other external stimuli to the ancestral genes that lied dormant. It is possible that the Mega Stones, which are the items that allow Pokemon to Mega Evolve, contain compounds that trigger epigenetic changes in the Pokemon's genome, resulting in the temporary transformation.

Whatever the case may be, mega-evolution was a power that many wanted to acquire and unfortunately it got into the hands of certain people who would use the power for nefarious reasons.

...

Austin learned about the existence of Mega Evolution through Cynthia and Team Rocket's database, which unveiled a fascinating detail. Giovanni, the organization's leader, possessed the power of Mega Evolution, specifically with his formidable Beedrill. This revelation prompted Austin to focus his efforts on targeting Giovanni's Mega Evolving Beedrill.

The night air in the forest was dense with anticipation as a sudden, fiery explosion shattered the tranquil silence. Trees trembled, and the roar of blazing flames reverberated throughout the clearing.

Inside one of the slowing cars, an officer's hands clenched the steering wheel, his eyes locked on the growing inferno before him. He was torn between the instinct to help and the knowledge that he had a mission to complete. Just as he considered stopping, the crackling static of the communicator interrupted his thoughts. A voice cut through the noise, commanding, "Keep moving forward!" The officer hesitated for a moment, then reluctantly pressed down on the accelerator, leaving the chaos behind to pursue their ultimate objective.

...

In the midst of pandemonium, a figure emerged from the inferno like a ghoul rising from its grave, clutching the charred remains of his driver, used as a grotesque shield. Giovanni, unfazed by the hellish scene, strode forward with the confidence of a predator stalking its prey. He glanced at the police walkie-talkie in his hand, noting that it was active.

"Looker," Giovanni spoke, his voice cold and measured like a chilling wind through a crypt. "I believe those two criminals are entwined in the vanishing of Erika."

Looker's voice crackled through the walkie-talkie, "And what evidence do you have to support this macabre claim, Giovanni?"

"Those two malefactors orchestrated an act of terror against me and wish to lure you from Celadon City to a forsaken landfill, leaving behind a vulnerable metropolis teeming with innocents."

Silence loomed like an oppressive fog, as Looker recalled Austin's warnings about Giovanni.

"My instincts earned me the title of Giovanni of the Ground. I trust my instincts, and you should too, Looker. After all, I've always had the best interests of this city at heart."

Suddenly, a disturbance in the sky pierced the eerie calm. Something plummeted, hurtling toward the ground with the speed of a vengeful spirit. Giovanni's eyes widened in horror, and he swiftly released his Cloyster from her Pokéball.

"Quickly, Cloyster!" he cried out. "Form an icy slide and catch Beedrill!"

The Cloyster responded with supernatural speed, conjuring a wall of ice that snatched the falling Pokémon from the jaws of certain doom.

"Giovanni, I don't trust anecdotal evidence," Looker's voice haunted the airwaves.

"Are you insinuating that my words are naught but hollow whispers?" Giovanni challenged.

"You may do as you please, but I shall follow my path," Looker retorted, and with that, the walkie-talkie fell silent like a graveyard at midnight.

...

"Hmm, interesting to see that the words of a minister are being undervalued by the words of the unknown. Could this be some kind of setup by President Goodshow ?"

Giovanni thought as his eyes darted toward his Beedrill, and a cold dread gripped his heart as he observed his cherished starter writhing in torment. An insidious poison coursed through the veins of the usually unyielding Pokémon, yet Giovanni's expression remained an unreadable mask. Desperation clawed at the edges of his mind as his phone, long dormant, finally displayed signal bars. With steady fingers that betrayed none of his inner turmoil, he dialed a number.

"Archer," he whispered, his voice low and urgent, echoing the darkness that enveloped them. "Initiate Plan Omega on Old Celadon immediately."

He severed the connection without waiting for a response, his focus shifting back to the agonized form of his Beedrill.

As Giovanni knelt beside his starter, tenderly stroking its head while assessing the virulent effects of the toxin.

As a ghostly psychic mist crept through the trees, its tendrils entwined with the night air. Giovanni's brow furrowed deeper as he sensed the extravagant psychic energy radiating from the mist.

An ominous figure emerged from the gloom, and Giovanni tensed, poised for any impending threat. But as the figure drew closer, he recognized the familiar visage of Austin, clad in his costume.

"Hmm," Giovanni intoned, his voice dark and amused. "I must say you have done quite your research to have thought of such a plan. Commissioning my starter out of battle while making further attempts at my life and taking me to a location you could have prepared for our battle. Impressive, quite impressive."

He chuckled softly, a sinister sound that echoed through the haunted forest as he regarded Austin.

"Why don't we introduce ourselves? The name is Lionel Giovanni."

The words hung in the air, heavy with foreboding, as the two adversaries prepared to confront each other in a chilling battle that would forever alter the course of their lives.
