With 2 minutes to spare, the gems pull up at the er door.
They all get out, garnet walks to the back seat and carefully unbuckles amethyst as she failed when she tried.
Amethyst tried to walk, but she almost fell. Garnet scooped her up like a toddler, then they all went inside, excluding pearl as she was swapped seats with Steven when they got out to park.
When they made it inside an Er nurse came up, questioning what happened to her and trying to put her on a gurney.
Steven stopped her.
"We need to see Dr. Maheswaran"
Steven frantically stated.
"Do you have an appointment with her?"
The blonde nurse asked.
"Kinda? Please just, where is she?"
Steven questioned, annoyed.
"Uh okay.. her office is on the second floor. Room 108." The nurse said, confused.
"Thanks." Steven replied.
Pearl walked in.
"Finally" peridot said sarcastically.
"Okay no time to waste. Let's go." Steven demanded.
The 3 and amethyst, follow him into the elevator.
As the doors opened he ran as fast as he could without using his powers.
"Right here guys!" Steven shouted.
"aren't you supposed to be like.. yknow quiet in this place?" Amethyst joked, weakly.
Steven smiled, opening the door.
"Oh Steven! H-" she was cut off by the sight of amethysts weak body and sliced up arms.
"Oh, my god. Connie told me to expect self-harm, but this.." she added.
Amethyst frowned, embarrassed.
"No, it's okay. I'll try to help." Dr Maheswaran followed up.
"Okay garnet, bring her over here." Dr Maheswaran said, worriedly.
Garnet quickly brought her over to the exam table.
She was barely able to keep upright.
Peridot saw this and got up with her, supporting her body so she wouldn't fall.
"Okay, let me take a look at your arms." Dr Maheswaran said, putting on blue gloves.
"im fine guys, this is extremely unnecessary. I'm taking up time Dr Maheswaran could be using to help humans. Not me." Amethyst weakly slurred.
"No it's not amethyst, you need help and we don't have the recourse to do that. So we are getting you help." Pearl said sternly.
Amethyst glared at her, jokingly.
Steven was glad she still had some of her old self in that shell.
"This one is really deep, im not sure if it'll work, but I need to try stitching it." Dr Maheswaran said.
Amethyst looked at steven, scared.
"It's okay amethyst." Steven said.
"I'll be here next to you." Peridot added.
Amethyst started to cry. attempting to run away but of course, she was way to weak to do that.
"Amethyst." Garnet said, helping peridot pull her back up.
"You need to stop trying to avoid help." Pearl added.
Dr Maheswaran walked back in with the stitches tray.
Dr Maheswaran slid over on her stool to the purple gem, grabbing the cart.
Amethyst looked absolutely terrified.
Her skin turned pale purple.
She started trembling.
Her lip was quivering.
Tears started to form in her eyes again, but this time not small tears. Big tears, almost blocking her vision.
"Amethyst it's going to be okay." Steven said, walking to the chair close to the door and sitting down.
"Okay amethyst, let's do this. Are you ready?" Dr Maheswaran asked.
"N-no but I don't really have a choice." Amethyst worriedly joked.
Dr Maheswaran started prepping her arm, disinfecting around it, being careful to to touch the other cuts.
As Dr Maheswaran grabbed the needle,
