Chapter 11

This will occur about two weeks after the group returns from their trip to the Soul Society, with everyone trying to come to terms with their weaknesses and preparing for the war.

Issei was running down the street as he tried to register what he had learned in the past two weeks since he and his friends had returned from the Soul Society. Ever since he had read the information on the flash drive that he and Shirō had looked at together, the information clearly showed the past sins of both the Supernatural and the Soul Society. Even the information that Urahara told him about the Fullbringers and the past that Issei heard from his step-aunt told him about why his grandfather was killed by the Soul Reapers when he was still a child.

At first, Issei didn't want to believe the information that he had been given because he wanted to give the new Soul Society the benefit of the doubt, but when he read about the innocent lives being killed and beaten by the nobles and the Soul Reapers, Central 46 not caring about the people and only using them as tools for their gain, the original captains who didn't give a care about protecting the souls and only wished to fight and kill the enemy with no hesitation or regret.

Especially when he read about Isshin and Misaki Kurosaki being enemies once due to the two of them being from other factions, but the part that shocked him was not only the Hollow that attacked them before Ichigo was born but also the fact that Isshin was cast aside from the Soul Society for helping the enemy instead of killing Misaki when White injured her.

Issei was still running to try and clear his mind, but it only made him question what the Soul Society planned on doing with them now that Aizen had revealed himself as a traitor to them.

"...Not all of the captains are bad. They can't be since they were so kind to us after the matter had been cleared, and it seemed they were okay with training us. Central 46 is probably being put on the back burner since the Soul Society doesn't want politics involved in this war which is probably why they are content with the idea of working with us since they'll need all of the help they can get since they are down three captains leaving them vulnerable." Issei said to himself as he was no longer running but instead walking towards the town's forest to get comfort from the wind blowing through the trees.

As he reached the forest park, Issei closed his eyes; he let his body relax by feeling the comfort of the forest until he opened his eyes to see that his partner Muramasa was also concerned about the information given to them by Aizen himself.

[Are you okay, Issei?] Muramasa asked as he could feel the emotional distress on his partner's soul and mind, making Issei sigh heavily as he knew he couldn't hide anything from his partner even without trying.

"...The thing is that I'm not sure who I should believe anymore. At first, I was okay with working with the Soul Society for the war against Aizen. Still, when I was given all that information and the fact that Urahara and my step-aunt answered my questions, it made me wonder if the Soul Society and the members of the Supernatural world can be trusted." Issei said as he felt a strong connection with the people that he had befriended in the Soul Society, but he wasn't sure if they were true friends who trusted him or if they were only pretending to be friends with him so they could ask him to assist them in the war.

Issei had always been a loyal person who was able to see the good in others, and being around people like Soifon, Toshiro, Rangiku, Momo, Yamamoto, and Urahara made Issei feel like he could tell that they were good people deep down, despite the things that the Soul Society is guilty of. Muramasa never replied to Issei until his partner had spoken to him.

[I fully understand your reasons for hesitating not to believe the information, but you must realize that not everyone is trustworthy since there are always others who will use anyone to get what they want. After all, you didn't tell Irina or your God-Aunt about the information you obtained about the current exorcists and their sins. You did so because you know that if you know, they won't accept the truth, especially Irina when she learns of her father's sins.] Muramasa said as he knew that his partner was a good person at heart and wished to believe that the Soul Society was their ally, but after seeing the truth, Muramasa could tell that his partner was unsure if they could be trusted.

[Why don't we do some training to help take your mind off it? You can practice with Gegetsuburi and I since the Zanpaktos spirit has been tuned with yours. Unfortunately, due to the massive damage done to the spirit, I had to help reform the spirit into its new spirit form since it's now part of your soul.] Muramasa said as Issei wanted to speak to Gegetsuburi. Still, the spirit's physical form was different since it had been reforged so many times due to its master's negligence and not caring to have it repaired immediately when its Shikai was shattered into pieces. Due to this, the spirit never had a permanent spirit form, so when it joined Issei's soul, its body was reformed into something even stronger.

However, the wait was over last week thanks to Muramasa's help since Gegetsuburi was reforged into a powerful partner ready to train with their new partner. Issei focused on Gegetsuburi and saw that the spirit was now a woman with magenta hair and a body fit for an assassin which made sense since her previous user was part of the Stealth Corp. The spirit had orange eyes and a fair skin complexion hidden by the ninja-like attire, which didn't stop the spirit from bowing to Issei.

[I am the spirit of Gegetsuburi. I am humbled and grateful for you freeing me from my former master and giving me a new life and body. You may use me as you see fit in battle. My new powers will be able to support you in battle so you may destroy your enemies. Call upon my power.] Gegetsuburi said as Issei felt the sword connect to his biker gloves; he was surprised by the comforting presence from the Zanpakto before he called out to his new partner.

"Release your chains, Gegetsuburi!" Issei called out as his gloves transformed into a new form; his combat gloves appearance was now a pair with built-in batons on his gauntlets. Issei was amazed by this as he was also impressed by the armor that was now on his forearms and calves. Issei inspected his new Shikai since it was new from Muramasa's Shikai due to his gloves having spikes on the knuckles and claws on the tips, which were able to slice through the hardest armor by using spiritual energy to make the claws sharper and more durable. As for the said chains, Issei could shoot them out of the gloves and use them to either bind his enemies, whip them, or even scale obstacles in his way.

"Subjugation!" Issei shouted as he fired two chains from his gauntlets and wrapped them around a boulder. He used his upper arms to pull it out of the ground and twirl it in the air before pulling it towards him, which would terrify others had Issei not been ready for it as he had his claws ready to slice through it before the claws began to expand as it was gathering spiritual energy around them.

"Ryūsōken!"

Issei slashed at the boulder, destroying the chains and slicing the boulder into pieces which caused Issei to look at his claws in contempt before nodding at his progress from a week ago since he was amazed by the power of Gegetsuburi and the chains that came with the gloves.

Issei then practiced using the chains to whip his enemies and use them as weapons to bind them and sharpen them to stab his foes. Playing combat games like MK, Tekken, Blazblue, and such was able to help Issei better understand the fighting style that best suited his new Shikai since he had been trying to understand his new partner Gegetsuburi better.

Unbeknownst to them that they had an observer watching them from the shadows until Issei stopped his training after two hours to see the sun rising in the distance which made him smile at the scenery before sensing that someone was near him, which made him ready for his Fullbring to punch the daylights out of the observer.

"It's good to see you are doing well, Issei Hyoudou. I'm surprised you could not only obtain a new power, but you seem to have been keeping up with your training even though you've just returned to your home." The figure said as they stepped into the light to reveal themselves as a random stranger that Issei had never met before until he saw that the eyes were different and the way the man spoke to him was familiar.

The man smiled a familiar expression at Issei, which shocked him as he knew one person who could make a grin like that.

"Aizen? But how are you communicating with me? After you left the Soul Society, I thought you wouldn't try to contact me for at least a month." Issei said as the man chuckled at Issei's question before replying to him.

"That's simple. I've been working on it for a while now since this technique allows me to not only take the mind of a weak-willed person but also prevent my presence from being noticed. Suitable for being able to communicate with you without arousing suspicion." Aizen explained as Issei was surprised by this technique that Aizen had developed before the traitor spoke to the Fullbringer.

"I would like to extend an invitation to you since you'll be working with my army, so I decided to give you a chance to come and see what I have done in the land of Hollows. Hueco Mundo." Aizen said as Issei was surprised by the invitation before he turned around to see a massive crack in the air until it revealed a desert-like place with a massive place in the far back. Issei looked at the puppet Aizen was using before Issei nodded and entered the portal.

As Issei continued walking through the portal to see it close behind him, it told Issei that there was no turning back.

'As much as I don't want to go to Hueco Mundo, I got no choice since I still have my end of the bargain to uphold. Sorry guys.' Issei said in his mind as he apologized to his friends for keeping this secret. As he continued walking towards the massive building in the distance, he was observed from the building itself by Aizen as he was glad Issei came willingly without putting up a fight.

"I'm glad he accepted my invitation. I'm curious how much he's grown since his time in the Soul Society." 'And if everything goes according to plan, then Issei will come to join us willingly after the events that'll come to pass.' Aizen said to himself as he looked to see Gin approaching the throne.

"Oh my. It seems your little pet project is coming. My, my. I expected him to put up a bit of a fight to resist you." Gin said as Aizen scoffed at the idea in reply.

"Issei Hyoudou knows he cannot defeat me even with his acquired skills. Although I am interested in how far he's come since I've last seen him, and if all goes well in his trial, he'll become the very first human to join the ranks of the Espada." Aizen said as Gin was surprised by this before asking him.

"You were serious about having the boy become an Espada? You do know he's not an Arrancar, correct?"

"I'm well aware of that, but the boy's skills will make him a much more valuable asset to Las Noches rather than Isshin's child. The reason is that I no longer desire an equal to me in terms of power." Aizen said as he watched Issei walk through the desert until he waved a hand to Gin. "Send Tosen and make sure he arrives here safely."

Gin nodded as he walked out of the room. Aizen continued to observe the boy before the traitor looked at the Hogyoku before a third eye appeared in the middle of his forehead.

"First phase of my plan is almost complete. Once Issei Hyoudou is part of the Espada, the second phase can begin. Hopefully, the Holy Grail can be recovered from the Grigori since it's necessary for the plan. After all, I'll have more than enough power with the Holy Grail to take down both the Soul Society and the Biblical Faction should they decide to get in my way." Aizen said that as he was going to enjoy watching the events unfold, his path towards victory and a new world would become closer within his grasp.

Meanwhile, Issei continued walking towards the entrance of Las Noches before he saw Tosen appear near the front door.

"Ah. Welcome to Las Noches. I'm surprised you were able to get here earlier than I anticipated. Lord Aizen sent me to ensure there were no complications with your arrival. Follow me, and I'll take you to meet Lord Aizen." Tosen said as Issei nodded in reply before he followed Tosen into Las Noches and was amazed by the interior design of the palace.

"Woah. Not bad. Nice interior work for an army." Issei said as he whistled in amazement before he saw Tosen's back and decided to try and get some answers from one of the former captains. "Hey, Tosen. Do you mind if I ask you a personal question?"

Tosen was quiet for a few minutes before nodding in reply. "That depends on what the question is."

"I'm curious about your reasons for joining Aizen. Your friend Komamura told me you wanted to become a captain to avenge your friend. Is that correct?" Issei asked as he was curious why Tosen would want to join Aizen's army since what he heard about Tosen from the others in the Soul Society made him ponder his endgame for the war.

"...The path I chose is the one with the least amount of bloodshed. I seek the path of Justice with the least amount of blood to help Lord Aizen rebuild the world so that Justice may be restored in a corrupt world like the Soul Society and the Biblical Faction." Tosen said that Issei was surprised by this reason since it was similar to Issei's desire for strength so he could become a Hero like in the stories he read as a child. Still, as he grew older, Issei enjoyed the heroes who understood the meaning of the word Justice and could understand the weight of their actions and how they would affect their path to becoming even better heroes.

However, sometimes Justice could be very cruel towards others, like when he watched some anime where the Heroes try to save as many lives as they can but struggle with their problems, such as being able to save any people or how became a victim to their stubbornness and pride.

"I heard that your friend before you joined the Soul Society was murdered in cold blood by a noble Soul Reaper, and you were frustrated that he didn't receive punishment for his crimes. I'm sorry for that, Tosen. I know what that's like. Losing someone special to you and the killer walking away freely without punishment. My grandfather was killed by the Soul Reapers when I was still a child, and I couldn't do anything as I watched them kill my father on that rainy night." Issei said as he fiddled with his Quincy bow that once belonged to his grandfather until the day he passed away. At first, Issei doesn't understand who killed his grandfather since all he saw were people wearing strange clothes when he was a child, but now that he's older and knows who they are, Issei realizes that his grandfather may be in Heaven or the Soul Society.

Hopefully, the former rather than the latter.

Tosen was surprised by this before speaking to Issei. "You are correct. My friends' unjust death catalyzed my decision to become Justice incarnate. I admired her ambition to try and bring peace to the Soul Society; she was thinking of possibly making a peace treaty with the Biblical Faction so the two factions could assist each other for peace. That is why when I heard of her death by her husband, I was lost because she wished to deliver Justice to the world and peace, but why would the world take away someone who wished to better the world, which made me realize that this world lacks Justice."

"So, you wish to help Aizen to deliver Justice by helping him create a new world?"

"That's right."

"Even if it meant betraying your comrades and friends that you have made during your time in the Soul Society?"

"That's right."

"Even if it means you must kill to create that world you desire?"

"...Sometimes Justice must be done to save the lives of many in the new world that Lord Aizen will create. Tell me Issei Hyoudou. What is your view of Justice?" Tosen asks as Issei hesitates to reply but still speaks to the former captain.

"I believe that Justice is not neither good nor evil. It's very gray because everyone's view of Justice has changed since time began. Humans know the term Justice very well since there are many reasons why someone wants Justice. Some say revenge for losing a loved one or what the person did to them. Others seek Justice because they believe people cannot change and become better. It's similar to what Irina told me about Jesus when we were children." Issei recalled that day before Irina and her family had moved away from Kuoh Town.

"Jesus was an innocent man who was the son of God and had committed no sins, so why was he hung on the cross for the sins of mankind? I pondered why that happened to him, so when I asked Irina's father, he told me that Jesus chose to take upon the sins of the world so that his brothers and sisters may be able to become like Christ and return to Heaven when they pass on to the next life. Jesus even begged God that he not harm the people who said he should be crucified because they were innocent. At first, I didn't fully understand the meaning behind the story, but now that I'm a bit older, I understand the meaning behind it. It's to tell us that our choices, reasons, and ideals carve the path we walk on. We strive to become better than we are today so that we can enter Heaven and be with our families and loved ones when we die." Issei said as Tosen was digesting what the boy had spoken to him until he continued walking towards the throne room.

"Then perhaps we both have different views on what Justice is. I never thought you would have such a strong argument on what Justice is."

"Well, when I was a kid, I wanted power to become a Hero like the stories I was told about, but as I grew older, I started to understand what the term Hero was and how it's hard to understand what a true Hero was so when I started to gain this power I began to realize that becoming a Hero is not just about being the one who saved lives but also the one who has to make the most difficult decisions for everyone else," Issei said as they reached their destination before Tosen knocked on the door and was allowed to enter the room as Issei looked to see Aizen sitting on top of a throne.

"Hello Issei Hyoudou. I'm glad you arrived safely, as I explained in the World of the Living. I want you to go through a few trials for me to see how much you have grown in the time that you've been in the Soul Society, and if you do very well, you'll be granted a position as one of my Espada." Aizen said as Issei didn't like the idea of being pitted in some fight to the death, but Issei had no choice in the matter as he nodded and accepted the conditions.

"I accept."

"Good. Watch your landing." Aizen said as Issei wasn't sure what he meant by that; before the floor beneath him vanished as Issei fell into a hole in the floor.

"Oh, Shiiiiit!" Issei yelled as he was trying to find something to break his fall or, that the very least, slow down his descent until he saw a lighter at the end of the tunnel, which resulted in Issei going down some slide as he was able to slow down and land on the floor.

Issei groaned and cursed to himself as he wanted to punch the smug look Aizen probably had on his face before standing up slowly and waiting for the world to stop spinning. All the while, he was being observed by a group of people curious about this person and why Aizen had brought him here.

One of them was an old, fat but muscular man with white hair and a thick white mustache with a scar running down his left eye, and what remained of his hollow hole looked like a jagged crown (Barragan Luisenbarn, Segunda Espada).

Another was a blonde woman with short hair and tanned skin, her mask and hollow hole hidden by the jacket that came up to her nose that covered her mouth and upper torso. Her stomach was exposed, and she wore a long skirt to cover her legs. (Tia Harribel, Tercera Espada)

Then there was a man of average height with a slender build and skin as white as snow. His mask remains formed, half a helmet on his head. He had shoulder-length black hair and green eyes. One of his other distinguishing features was that he had green lines coming down from his eyes, almost like tears. (Ulquiorra Schiffer, Cuatro Espada)

Next was a thin, lanky man with shoulder-length black hair with a collar that looked almost like a spoon behind his head. He consistently wore a sickening grin with an eye patch over his left eye. (Nnoitra Gilga, Quinto Espada)

Then there was a man who looked to be in his twenties, with bright blue hair and eyes that had the aura of a King of Beasts, with his mask on the side of his face and a giant six tattooed onto his back. (Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, Sexta Espada)

Next is a bald dark-skinned man with his hollow mask remains being spiked studs running along the middle of his head and a tooth necklace. (Zommari Rureaux, Septima Espada)

Next is a man with bright pink hair with his hollow mask remains, being a pair of glasses on his face. (Szayel Aporro Granz, Octava Espada)

Next is a tall man with an elongated mask covering his entire head. (Arroneiro Arurururei, Noveno Espada)

The last one is a big, muscly man with four ridges on his head and his hollow mask forming his bottom jaw, filled with sharp teeth (Yammy Llargo, Decima Espada.)

Aizen then appeared before Issei as he chuckled at the boy glaring at him for the stunt he pulled. "Apologies, but it seemed the fastest way to bring you to the arena."

"Oh, sure it was. Not like you could've just used a Flash Step to bring me here."

"Now, how is that amusing?" Aizen said with a smirk as Issei held his annoyance at the man back while his fists clenched, seeing the smug look on his face, which only continued to piss him off.

"Can we just get this shit over with? Who's the one you want me to fight?" Issei asked as he tightened his gloves while getting ready for battle. Aizen smirked at this as he snapped his fingers to reveal a door opening behind him to reveal a person that seemed unique and powerful in their ways.

"This shall be your first opponents. You may kill him if you wish but do not underestimate him. The battle shall end when either you defeat your opponent or lose against them." Aizen said as he used a Flash Step to leave the battlefield. Issei looked to see the person approaching him.

His first opponent was a tall, muscular man of fair complexion. He had black hair and blue eyes. His hair resembled a pair of small horns, and he had a van-dyke beard and mustache. The remains of his Hollow mask consisted of a small plate on his forehead that had horns mirroring those in his hair. His outfit seemed to be customized, with fringes on the forearm portion of the sleeves, a red sash tied at his waist, shoulder pads, and openings down the front, which reveal his black undershirt. He also had an earring in his right ear.

"A pleasure to meet you. I am Dordoni Alessandro Del Socaccio. The 103rd Espada." Dordoni said as Issei nodded in reply before he began to rush towards Dordoni and began to release a flurry of punches that were surprisingly blocked by Dordoni's legs which impressed Issei since he wasn't expecting to see a Hollow use unarmed combat since most of the people, he's fought rely on using a weapon for combat.

"Interesting. Forgive my late introduction. My name is Issei Hyoudou. I'm surprised by your fighting style. That's kickboxing, correct?" Issei asked as Dordoni chuckled as he replied to him.

"You are correct. I take pride in fighting against my opponents with my fists rather than my sword though I will use my blade when necessary."

"Understandable. Then, in that case, I'll show you what I can do." Issei said as he punched his fists together, which caused a small explosion around him and elicited a grin to appear on his face before he charged at Dordoni Espada was surprised by the power behind the boys' punches and kicks before feeling the weight behind each of his attacks increase with each successful hit.

"I'm impressed. Most people I've seen don't fight using their fists but instead rely on their Zanpakto. You are different since it looks like you've trained for quite some time now. Consider me impressed." Dordoni complimented as Issei was touched by the comment from his opponent before the two then continued with changing blows. Issei used his speed and power to get some good hits on Dordoni while Dordoni was able to land some perfect hits on Issei, which made the Fullbringer stumble backward a bit, but he still smiled as he stood back up and got back into the fight as his wounds healed.

The observers watched the two clash and saw that they enjoyed themselves as they exchanged fierce and deadly blows.

"Tch. I don't see what the big deal is. The human is just barely holding his own against a former Espada. I don't know what Aizen was thinking of bringing him here since a human can't become an Espada." Grimmjow said as a light scoff was heard from Halibel before she turned around and spoke to him.

"Perhaps in your eyes, a human cannot defeat an Espada, and yet this boy, a human, was able not only to kill a fifth seat, who had the potential to become a Lieutenant but also defeated a Captain on his own without any interference from anyone else. Also, if you had read his file, you would know that he's limiting himself to only using his Fullbring out of respect to his opponent." Halibel said as she looked back to see Issei and Dordoni smiling even more as they exchanged deadlier blows until the two unleaded a much larger blow.

"Barón Puntapiés Alto! Third Form!" Dordoni shouted as he sent a powerful kick across the floor toward Issei and smiled as his eyes glowed with power before readying his left fist as the wind began to pick up around his arm.

"HOKOSURU!" Issei shouted as he sent the punch toward Dordoni. The two moves clashed in the middle of the arena, which caused gathered some of Espada's interest; as the punch overwhelmed the kick, Dordoni was sent back to the wall with a massive crater appearing behind him, but a toothy grin was etched on his face as he laughed while Issei was smiling as well as Ascalon began to heal his injuries.

"Ahahahah! Excellent form. I haven't been this excited about fighting for quite some time now." Dordoni said as he pushed himself off the wall before smiling at the boy while drawing out his sword.

"Issei Hyoudou. I consider you a worthy opponent, and to show my appreciation, I'll show you my true strength. My Resurrection. I suggest you use your Bankai to fight; otherwise, you'll fall." Dordoni said as the wind began to pick up around his body until his spiritual energy began rising.

"Now Whirl, Giralda!" Dordoni shouted as his body was covered by wind until Issei saw Dordoni's wounds completely heal, and his appearance changed to where he had now gained large horns on his shoulders and armor that started at his feet, wrapped around his calves and jutted out at his waist with two more spikes. His mask also extended, framing his face.

Issei was impressed by this before he reached for Gegetsuburi. "Apologies Muramasa but I wish to use Gegetsuburi for this battle."

[I understand and do not mind. Please show them your strength so they think twice about underestimating you.] Muramasa said he hated how his partner was underestimated by those who only see power as a critical factor in battles rather than using their intellect to get ahead of their opponents.

"Thank you," Issei said as he unleashed his second Zanpakto. "Now. Release your chains, Gegetsuburi!"

Issei shouted as his biker gloves transformed to reveal his new combat gloves, which surprised Dordoni as he was expecting to see the other sword, he had read about in the boy's file.

"Interesting, but having a new Zanpakto won't save you!" Dordoni declared as he summoned two massive cyclones around him before sending them to Issei. He merely watched the two approach him before he readied his fists and blocked them as the cyclones tried to push Issei back a couple of inches Dordoni continued to use more wind to make them more powerful. Still, Issei held his ground as he slowly pushed forward with his claws digging into the bird-like skulls.

"Don't...underestimate me!" Issei shouted as he continued to push back against Dordoni's attack before using the batons on his arms to slam the heads into the ground, which surprised Dordoni before Issei unleashed his two chains and wrapped them around Dordoni before pulling him towards Issei, which shocked the Arrancar before Issei readied his left fist.

"Ryūsōken!" Issei shouted as he struck Dordoni's skull, which sent him flying back, but the Arrancar could right himself in the air thanks to his cyclones. Dordoni smiled as he was impressed by the boy's strength before gathering more cyclones around him.

"Impressive, Hyoudou, but let's see if you can block more than two," Dordoni said as many more cyclones formed around him, making Issei worry about this move. "Now take this. Ave Mellizos!"

Dordoni shouted as the cyclones rushed towards Issei, which made him prepare for the storm. He wrapped his two chains around his body in hopes of withstanding the attacks. Still, the cyclones pieced through his armor which made Issei cough out blood as he felt the cyclones punch the wind out of his body before he flew towards the wall and was pummeled by the many different cyclones, which began to tear apart his body which made some of the Espada's disappointed by this display.

"Such as shame," Halibel said as she approached the room's exit, ashamed that the human couldn't last longer when facing the Privaron Espada.

However, as this happened, Issei felt he was facing Yumichika again. Still, this time he gave himself a handicap since he believed he would be able to take down Dordoni with Gegetsuburi and wanted to understand her power better until his mind went blank as he was brought into a different place where it reminded him of the forest back in the Soul Society before seeing Gegetsuburi appear in her spirit form.

"Issei. I am not disappointed in you, but I'm not sure why you used me instead of Muramasa when you have far more experience using him than me." Gegetsuburi asked as she couldn't understand why Issei decided to use her instead of Muramasa, resulting in Issei sitting up and replying.

"It's because I want to understand you better, Gegetsuburi. I can understand Muramasa better since I've known him longer and can accept the power that I had from him since Muramasa and I are the same. The string that connects us is a representation of the trust between us. I don't see you or Muramasa as weapons to be used for battle, but rather, I see you two as my friends. My partners that I can trust to watch my back. That's why I want to understand you better, Gegetsuburi, since you've been neglected for so long and have endured such unbearable pain that I want to fill in that hole in you and break the locks you put around yourself."

Gegetsuburi was shocked by this answer before she smiled a real one as she hugged Issei and was grateful to have such a kind partner who wanted to know the real her instead of the weapon. "Thank you, Issei. In a way, I represent your own heart. How do you keep chains around your heart since you don't want to lie to your friends about your deal with Aizen but also because you desire power not to conquer your enemies but to be able to bind them and take them down so they do not harm the ones you hold closest to you."

She then revealed a small orb surrounded by chains before placing it into his soul.

"This is the name of my Bankai. A form that'll allow you to bind the Gods and those who are stronger than you but also to bring the Gods down to your level." Gegetsuburi said that Issei was shocked by this power and unsure if he was ready for it until his partner hugged him.

"You've already earned your Bankai when you accepted yourself and understood your soul. In a way, each of your powers reflects not just your soul but who you are as an individual. Your Fullbring represents your Greed since you wished to become stronger so you could fight those who were even stronger than you." Gegetsuburi explained as Muramasa appeared next to her and continued her explanation.

"The Shikai and Bankai that you gain from me represent your Envy since you were envious of those stronger than you and wished to have a power that would allow you to fight the Gods and more powerful being in the world. Gegetsuburi represents your Lust since she reflects how you keep a wall around your heart but let others into it since you know you can trust them, such as your friends and those you hold dear to you." Muramasa explained before Gegetsuburi took over as she summoned the Quincy bow that seemed to radiate both the Sun and Moon powers.

"And as for your hidden Quincy power, it represents your Pride and Gluttony since the two are two different forms that grant you different powers and abilities that represent the Sun and the Moon. The Sun burns brightly and is the one that allows you to stand above all others, while the Moon allows you to become the Gluttonous One that consumes all in its power. You may not understand this power yet, but you soon will as you learn more about your Quincy powers. Now go show them how strong you truly are." Gegetsuburi said as she revealed a path in the forest for Issei; he looked at the path before hugging both Muramasa and Gegetsuburi, which surprised the two before patting his back and letting him go back as Issei rushed through the forest.

"He truly is a unique partner Muramasa. It makes me wonder what kind of person he'll become."

"We shall have to wait and see Gegetsuburi. Now let's prepare for the real battle to begin."

The two Zanpakto said as they returned to their respective weapons. Issei could push through the forest and see the cliff, which Issei knew was the way to leave his inner world.

"We will show them. We'll show them that they shouldn't underestimate us!" Issei shouted as he jumped off the cliff's edge and began to fall as his soul began to resonate with his words. Issei looked to see his two swords before him as Issei dived towards the two blades and grabbed them.

"Let's fight together. As one." Issei said as he began to become covered in a bright light that was a mixture of purple, red, gold, and black.

"Never give in to defeat. Ketsudan."

A bright light blew away the cyclones and shocked Dordoni as he saw Issei get down from the wall and transform into a new form which surprised the other Espadas while Halibel stopped in her tracks to see this event take place. Gin and Tosen were surprised since they thought the boy was dead, but Aizen smiled as he looked at the boys' new power.

"It's as the Hogyoku showed me. The boy is an interesting soul to watch grow into an equal." Aizen said as the light died down to reveal Issei's body. He was revealed to be covered in armor similar to his Bankai for Muramasa, but his form seemed like a warlord from ancient times. His weapon then appeared to have become a new type of weapon that mixed the elements of both swords. The blades were transformed into a spiked flail and battle axe connected by a long chain that was dull gray.

Dordoni was surprised by this before Issei threw the spiked flail at him, which took Dordoni by surprise as he was sent flying from the impact before feeling the flail wrap around his body before he was pulled down to the ground and felt his body crushed by the weight of the flail until Issei pulled Dordoni towards him as he used the blunt end of the battle axe to strike Dordoni's chest which made Dordoni heave heavily from the impact before Issei used the flail to send Dordoni back into the air until the chain unfurled from his body.

Dordoni was trying to launch a counterattack but was too late as Issei appeared above him with his weapons raised in the air before he sent the axe towards Dordoni, with the flail following behind its trajectory.

"Arcs of Justice," Issei muttered as the full force of both struck Dordoni until his body crashed into the ground once more. Issei standing above him, but before he could call the match over and give Dordoni to Aizen in hopes of him being healed, Issei's body reacted on its own as he blocked a powerful blast that sent him back a few feet until the attack ended only for Issei to see Yammy standing above Dordoni with a look of disgust on his face.

"I can't believe a weakling like you were beaten by a human. You should die with some dignity as a former Espada." Yammy said as he raised his right arm and crushed Dordoni's body with his fists which shocked Issei as he couldn't believe that one of them would kill their comrade without a hint of mercy.

Yammy spat upon his corpse, further desecrating Dordoni, which made Issei feel nothing but hatred towards the large Arrancar, making Yammy laugh at him mockingly. "Perhaps it's time for you to know what true power is rather than that pathetic weakling," Yammy said as he drew his sword and unleashed his power.

"Get ready because you're not coming back from this alive," Yammy said as his body began to glow with spiritual energy.

"Enrage, Ira," Yammy shouted as his body changed to increase his massive body into that of a Japanese Kaiju. His skull ridges became more pronounced, taking on the appearance of two sizeable purplish-gray head coverings extending to the back of his head.

His white mask fragments fused to his face, becoming his lower jaw. His red markings extended back from his face into two long flame tattoos. Most of his body was tan, with his thin ponytail becoming longer. His body transformed drastically, with his torso remaining essentially the same but growing eight large, white elephant-like legs on each side of his lower body, which extends back from his torso. These legs are connected to his body by white carapace-covered joints, leading up to the base of a bony tail club, similar to an Ankylosaurus. On each leg, he had three large toes extending backward from the front to the back of the leg. Large purplish-gray cylindrical tubes form on his elbows, which can be used as piston-like rams. He gained five large, black cylindrical tubes on his back, about half of the length of the tubes on his elbows. He has six black rounded nodules along the length of his forearms.

"This is power! Now die like the insect you are!" Yammy shouted as he fired a massive Cero at Issei, who only stood in the sand after using Flash Step to get outside the arena as he watched Yammy's massive form head towards him.

Issei looked at the Cero and didn't pick up his weapons; instead, he put them on his back before Issei readied his fists, which surprised the onlookers who thought the boy became suicidal as the Cero was unleashed and neared the boy's body.

Issei was then covered by the massive red Cero, which would've normally destroyed any enemy, but Issei wasn't a normal human and wouldn't fall so easily.

"Is this what you call power?" Issei asked from within the Cero, which shocked Yammy as the Cero began to decrease in size. Issei appeared slightly winded from the impact, but the Cero seemed to form a small ball of energy between his hands. Issei finished absorbing all of the Cero as he poured his power into the concentrated Cero, making it glow brightly with arcs or purple energy.

Issei then sent it into his weapons as the flail and battle axe transformed into a massive version of themselves until Issei charged at Yammy, who roared in rage as he charged at Issei.

Issei was faster than Yammy, even though he was carrying his heavier weapons that were supercharged with power, until he leaped into the air and launched the flail at Yammy's head, which smashed his skull fragments until Issei dove down with the sword behind him.

Yammy was still trying to free the flail from his skull until Issei's blade extended as he sliced through Yammy's skull and his upper torso.

"Asesino de Dioses."

Issei muttered as he landed on the ground with his sword in his right hand while the flail fell next to him as Yammy's form vanished, leaving only Yammy in his normal form with his skull intact but bleeding severely while his sword lay in front of him. Issei released his new form as he turned back to normal but looked at Yammy indifferently until he summoned his Quincy bow, which was blood red instead of the normal blue color. Issei then loaded his arrow, which became much larger due to the large amount of Hollow energy in the land.

"Aizen said this was a battle to the death. You don't deserve a proper burial, so become useful by giving me your power." Issei said as he fired the arrow into Yammy's chest, which began to absorb both Yammy's power and life essence as he began to grow weaker and weaker with each passing moment while Issei's body absorbed it into himself, which didn't phase him as much, due to him only caring about killing the enemy in front of him who deserved a fate worse than death, but this was better since he would become stronger and able to fight against his future enemies.

Issei then watched Yammy wither away into nothing as his sword flew towards Issei, who caught it easily. He looked at the blade and was rather impressed by it before sheathing it into its scabbard, falling into Halibel's arms as she caught him.

"You did well Issei Hyoudou. Lord Aizen has declared you the winner, so be proud, so let your body rest." Halibel said as Issei could barely respond as he let his body relax, feeling safe in the woman's arms as his body shut down.

Halibel then carried him back to Las Noches in bridal style while also looking at the boy's face before gently brushing some dirt off his face. "It surprises me that a boy with such an innocent face has such a strong soul and incredible power that can make him be seen as a real threat, but I won't let that happen," Halibel said as she was the embodiment of the aspect of life: Sacrifice.

"I won't let this soul become Hollower than human. He's already going through enough now that he's chosen to walk down this path, but will he become used to the bloody path he has chosen for himself?" Halibel asks herself as she continues to carry the boy back to Las Noches, while Aizen is impressed by the battle results.

He had expected the boy to defeat Dordoni, but Yammy being defeated by the boy and then consumed by him was a gift that the world had given him.

"It would seem that I have my own Godslayer now. I must thank my former leader for training the boy next time I see him in the upcoming war." Aizen said as he told Halibel to take Issei to Sazyll to watch the boy and ensure he remained alive.

Aizen wouldn't let a chance like that slip through his fingers. The one he believes will become equal to him regarding ideals and power.

"Now, to begin molding him into a true leader," Aizen said he would enjoy this very much. At the same time, the Soul Reapers primarily relied on the Head Captain and Ichigo to battle him, but little did they know that Aizen was not just a master manipulator but a God that would soon be born.

The Devil with whom the boy made a deal is now interested in what he'll become. Let's see how the others are doing as well.

Scene.

OVA will be separated into four parts, with the first showing Issei's character being sent to Hueco Mundo and facing powerful enemies while becoming a Godslayer. The following three parts will show Ichigo, Uryu, Chad, Tatsuki, and Orihime's potential growth for the upcoming war against Aizen and the coming enemy.

As for Issei's new form, it's a combination of both Gegetsuburi and Muramasa as the two allow Issei to gain power that'll allow him to strike down the Gods and other enemies that'll hell soon face in battle. Gegetsuburi's new powers are with chains since I wanted to alter her abilities, similar to how Muramasa's power changed when becoming Issei's partner.

Also, I hope you don't think Issei is OP now because he isn't. The only reason he could defeat Yammy was that he used Yammy's power against him, and Issei couldn't use his Ketsudan for very long due to the massive wear it does on the user's body. Issei's body will strengthen as he trains with the Espada and grows into an individual worthy of becoming a King of Hueco Mundo.
