I did not forget about this story. I did however take a break from writing klaroline. and have fallen in love with Caroline rare pairs. My story battle for royalty is filled with Caroline rare pairs from her love interest to friends to her coworkers. I don't know when the next chapter to this story will come out but here is a snip.

Katherine opens the curtains and she hears a moan from the bed. "It's been a month, I gave you time to mourn. I promised your mother I would take care of you. You are going to help me plan my wedding." Katherine pulls the blankets off of Caroline who moans and rolls away from her. "Klaus hasn't shared the gossip with you has he?"
Caroline rolls over to face her, she has not left this bedroom since they moved in. All she does is sleep and drink blood, which Klaus brings her a bag everyday. He tries to get her to eat but she hasn't had much of an appetite since her mom died. "What gossip?"
"the werewolves want a wedding and Hayley has choose here as the location. Plus Hayley does not know that Elijah and I are engaged nor am I alive. Hayley is coming over later to discuss the details. want to watch as she learns the man of her dreams is marrying me."

"Have you called Lucien?"
"For the millionth time Freya not yet. If you haven't noticed we are busy. I haven't had time to reconnect you with an old friend." Klaus is talking with Elijah about what to do with the werewolves when Freya came in and asked her daily question.
"Old friend, Lucien was the father of my child and the only person I have ever loved." She knows asking him everyday is a little overkill but Rebekah said she would help and has not done anything. She has to take matters into her own hands.
Klaus turns to look at her this time and glares at her. "You sound like Finn and you heard what we did with him."
Freya glares at him then storms out of the compound. "Niklaus."
"she'll be fine. she'll walk around the block and come back."
Neither one says it out loud but they worry that Mikael or Esther will find out Freya and or Henrik are alive.
