A/N Second Group, enjoy. And sorry for the delay, but yeah I'm not taking a long break from writing ever again, writing is my outlet of stress, and the three changes I did for this story that I said I would... I didn't, I'm going to keep it going, but its frequency in updates will depend on you as the readers, you don't have to review, but when you read these I will say what I need and when I get that with high frequency then I can work on the other story chapters, I'm sure many will know what I mean soon…
Belize gets the boat back to the docks, "What happened Belize? You look like you had your mind messed up…" Zack said looking at him. Belize just shrugged, "I don't know Zack all I know is that I was playing with a pet for a while, and then next thing I know I was at the extraction point and everyone was already on the boat."
Belize then scratched his head, "There's also no one with that kind of capability at all, well except…" Belize just went silent and started to look a little pissed. "Those no good jerks, I'm going to go on a hunting mission while the next group survives the island." Belize lifted the clip board and called out "Crème, Rylie, Silver, and Rocha, your turn to go through this crap" Belize then looked around.
"I have to keep vigilant; I see any of them I have to be prepared." Belize then jumped off the boat into the water, once he got out of the water he was holding a flamethrower, everyone was a little shocked about the event, but then they got a little use to Belize doing little to near impossible things, that they expect something like that too happen.
Belize took aim and shot it into the sky; everyone was shocked the flamethrower shot a flame up sixty three feet into the sky. Belize smiled and started waving it around all the groups, everyone just ducked to the ground in case he fired it again. Belize laughed. "Okay we are now set to go to the island lets see how well these will work out."
Belize started the boat and started to ride the waves after Belize gets into the middle of the ocean again, "Okay each group is having a different approach on getting to the island, first bunch crash landed, you are going to make a moderately smooth landing, that will make survival easier." Everyone looked at him a little confused he was showing he was concerned about them, but Belize laughed "Wait you think its because I have concern for you, ha… These boats cost a lot of money and fuel price for them are very high, if they came by cheap I would have many of them and everyone would have a crash landing."
Everyone just rolled their eyes, Belize shrugged "Whatever I'm stopping fifty feet from the land, you all will have to swim to the land from there." Belize started to have a feeling he forgot something, but he didn't care too much. "So get out and start swimming." He said after the boat came to a stop about fifty feet from the shore.
Rylie got out first, then Silver, then Crème, and then Rocha. Rylie made it to sure and was shocked how easy that was, he looked around the beach and saw the wreckage from the last groups boat that was there, and then he looked at the waves and still saw a couple of pieces of wreckage slowing coming in and fading out into the ocean with the waves.
Rylie then felt something slowly wrapping around his waist, he looked down and saw a semi-transparent tentacle make its way around him, Rylie stopped moving and then looked to the other side to see another semi-transparent tentacle wrapping from the other side, Rylie started to get a little worried at what it was, but he knew nothing was happening to him so he tried to ignore it for the time being.
Silver then made it on the beach and saw Rylie standing in one spot not moving, she moved in close to him, then she saw the mostly transparent creatures that was on his back, she almost yelled, but she didn't want to spook them, so she got in a little close and just started to talk to Rylie. "Umm hey Rylie, you have three jelly-fish on your back."
Rylie smiled "Okay, thanks Silver, I figured, they aren't harmful kind, so I don't have anything to worry about, at least I think." Crème made her way and saw the group, she then ran up to them, and then saw the jelly-fish. "Oh dang unlucky you, you have a few box jelly-fish on your back." Rylie then froze, "Oh shit. Uh mind helping me get them off before they sting me?" Rylie said, Silver backed away and Crème was walking to him, but one of the jelly-fish saw her and started to swing a tentacle at her.
"They don't seem to want to hurt you, but they don't want to let you go either." Silver said slightly laughing, but then she felt a little bad about it. Rocha washed up ashore and she was holding a box jelly-fish petting it while it was in her arms, she then walked up to the group, "Hey everyone, did I miss something?" Silver responded without looking at her, "Oh no Rocha nothing major, just the fact that Rylie has three box jelly-fish on his back."
"Yeah this is unlucky for him, but not too bad for us." Crème said once she finished the sentence her and Silver turned their head and saw Rocha holding a box jelly-fish petting it. "Well that's nice, well little guy seems your family is attached to Rylie." She then walked over to Rylie and pulled the jelly-fish off his back, and put all of them back in the water.
"Okay let's get on with this simple challenge." Rocha then started to make her way near the forest looking for a weapon she could make out of the items there. Silver and Rylie was sitting staring wondering how she could handle such deadly creatures without anything happening then they saw Crème heading to the forest too to forage for food.
Rylie and Silver just looked at each other shrugged and started to follow Crème to see if she needed help with getting any food, or if she wanted any. Crème just shrugged and started to scan around the trees for whatever they can use for food. Silver and Rylie then figured it would maybe be better if they stayed on the beach and gather resources.
Rocha made her way deep into the forest she smiled as she was looking watching all the venomous insects and creatures, only to look around disappointed when there were seemingly venomous creatures. "Damn this place isn't any where near as deadly as the forest behind my house." Rocha said out loud to her self.
Rocha then heard hissing and she turned around to find a pit viper on a branch about a foot away from her head, she smiled and started to walk close to the viper and once she got in close it went in for a strike, but Rocha grabbed the back of its head and pushed the strike into the ground, she then picked up the snake and tied it like a string into a knot and put it back on the branch.
"Now, now you shouldn't be trying to strike at anyone that walks up to you with no fear like that; you may end up in a situation like this." She then laughed turned and started to walk away, "Oh and by the way little guy, just relax and you can untangle yourself." She then walked around looking around the forest for anything else.
Suddenly she started to feel hungry she looked around and made sure there was no one around and she pulled out a bag with a sharp knife, and some strawberries. She cut up the strawberries and then ate them, once she finished eating the strawberries she got up stretched and started to climb a tree and using the knife started to cut the leaves off the tree.
She then jumped down from the tree and slowly got up once she got up and covered the blade of the knife and put it back in the bag the leaves started to slowly fall like snow onto the ground. Rocha grabbed them and then found a spider web she then went to the bag again and started to spray down the web, not to kill any of the spiders on it, but to make the tension strength be harder to break so its more like string then a sticky web that can break with little force from a large object.
Once she increased the tension, she pulled out a needle and started to thread the web through and sew the leaves into a hammock, with the left over she turned them into a blanket and pillow cover she knew she had to fill up. She then sighed and looked around.
"Yeah way too easy Belize, you need to come up with something harder then this to get at me and mentally mess with me." She then went looking for more spider webs and sprayed them with the chemical and used them to tie the hammock to a couple of trees.
Crème finally spotted a tree a little deeper in the forest then the edge right next to the beach she saw it was loaded with bananas, she started to head to the tree "There's a food source a little in the forest, I will be going to get it, you too can stay here and so something else." Rylie and Silver looked at each other then at her and shrugged, Rylie then went back to scouring the beach for feathers and started to look for berries that they couldn't eat to use to write down a journal on a leaf.
Silver went back to staring at the scenery watching the sunset starting to feel a little hungry. She then felt the need to make a fishing pole; she went scouring the beach with Rylie and started to look around for something she can use as the fishing line.
Crème sighed and started to make her way into the forest she got to the edge when she started to feel the hunger hit, but she knew there was some food at least not that far in from where she currently was. She started making her way through the forest, once she got to the banana tree she proceeded to climb it, about half way up a hunger pain hit her hard and she lost her climbing concentration and almost fell, she knew if she didn't make it to the top she would die, either by hunger or falling to her death.
She decided whatever either one will get her eliminated, but at least she will come back, so she continued and risked falling to her death, but with renewed confidence she made it to the banana stock and started to eat a couple, while far down below the bushes around the tree had started to rustle.
Rylie scoping around the beach found a few things he wasn't too shocked about, he then started to smile as they could be used to help in the survival, but he wasn't that sure if everything would be as useful, but he was slightly inventive so he could possibly make something seemingly useless into something useful.
He grabbed a couple pieces of the boat of the first group, he then found the motor slightly damaged from the crash, but when he tried starting it, it was working but not enough to propel anything any more. He smiled figured he could do something with those, he then found some fishing line, and figured to make a little automatic fire starter.
He tied one end of the string to the motor, he then wrapped the line a few times around the stick he then put it on a piece of the boat and started the motor, the motor started to turn, pulling the string and spinning the stick on the wood causing a lot of friction and started to smoke a little, then Rylie grabbed a leaf nearby and put it next to the stick and it started a fire.
Silver found a large stick, she then started to look around for something that she could use to fish with, she found some extra fishing line and used it to make a fishing pole, once she tied the line to the firm end of the stick she needed to find a hook, but there was none around.
She walked over to Rylie who had the fire going, "Hey Rylie, do you have a hook, or a sharp angled piece of metal?" Rylie looked around from all he has scavenged from the first teams boat, but didn't see anything, "Nope sorry Silver, but I don't. Well I can make you one if you can wait?" Silver felt her stomach rumble a little of hunger, "I don't think we have that much time until we have to eat, so what do you think the soonest you can make it?" She looks at him hoping that it would be soon, but Rylie shrugged "Maybe five minutes if I can find a good strong piece of metal and curve it into a hook shape."
Silver nodded "Okay when you said to wait I thought you meant over twenty minutes." Rylie smiled, "I have more skill then that madam, but yeah, help me find the metal and I can make it sooner then five minutes." Silver nodded and they both went and started looking around for any piece of metal that they could use, Silver found a couple of pieces, and Rylie found a few pieces, they went and had a look to see what would work.
"Well Silver, it is going to take a little longer then I thought, none of these pieces of metal will work, but if I melt them I can make a piece, but that will take over thirty minutes to get that kind of heat." Silver looked down disappointed "You got to be kidding me, damn well can we get at least something to catch fish, or something, I'm pretty sure soon if I don't eat I will die of starvation soon." Rylie nodded "Maybe Crème has found some food; go find her I will see what I can do about the fishing situation."
Silver nodded and started to run a little bit through the forest looking for Crème she saw Crème up in the tree laying there smiling, "Hey Crème… Mind throwing down a couple bananas to me?" Silver yelled Crème shook a little from her nap and dropped half her stock of bananas; she looked down and saw Silver "What did you say? You woke me up from a great dream of me winning the money." She said slightly aggressively.
Silver ran over to the bananas hardly hearing what the rabbit said, she grabbed a few of the bananas and then she yelled up "Thanks Crème" then Silver started to make her way back to the beach, Crème sighed and started to make her way down to the ground she was about eight feet off the ground, and she figured it wasn't that bad of a jump so she jumped down and landed on the ground. She got up looked around and then started to make her way to the beach.
Crème made it to the beach and saw Silver and Rylie eating the bananas and Rylie was trying to melt a couple pieces of metal to make a hook, for Silver. She starts to walk her way to them, but then Crème stepped on something that made a crunching sound, but it wasn't like a leaf or a twig crunch it was more of a breaking sound.
She looks down and saw she was stepping on a tail, she didn't see it move, but she was concerned to who, or what, it belonged to. She was cautious, but she was also a little concerned of being alone, she quickly just jumped over where she stepped and started to jog to Silver and Rylie.
Rocha sat in her hammock she made and looked around, she then figured to check the time, she grabbed her knife and took apart the handle exposing a secret compartment in the handle of the knife, she reached in and pulled out a watch and saw only four hours went by, she sighed. "Eh what do I do for another hour, this island is practically worthless, and I'm pretty sure no one is going to die on it." She then heard a growling sound from behind her.
She just continued to lay down not even showing any concern to the noise, then it got louder until it was right next to her, Rocha just started to scratch at her ear a little then she grabbed a leaf and started to twist it around a bit, then she used the leaf and started to clean out her ears, calmly.
Once she finished that, she slowly got up, "Come on Belize, you can do better then this fake shit." She then grabbed in the area she heard the growl, but nothing was there, she looked around, she searched through the bushes for anything electronic, but nothing was there, no speaker, no walkie-Talkie, nothing. Rocha then looked around, not very concerned, but then she hears the growl again.
She turns around and theres nothing there, she just started to run and made her way to the beach where she left Crème, Silver, and Rylie to do whatever they want. She was making her way through the forest until she ran into a golden brown squirrel, with a swirl on her chest ending on her head, and a lavender bow on her ear. They both fell to the ground.
"Ekinfa dorthu malakior?" the squirrel said, Rocha got up, "Sorry come again?" the squirrel sighed "I thought I told that light blue squirrel to give you people the warning to leave the island, before all hell breaks loose." Rocha looked at her confused, Michelle sighed "Well any way, why are you in a rush?" Rocha looked behind her feeling something was watching her, but she didn't know what it was. "Oh umm, nothing to important, just making my way to the beach, before it gets dark.
They both look up at the sky and see that it was entering near the time of a perfect sunset, Michelle nodded "Well you seem to be at least strong willed, but just in case… Ejuka Melracone vecration" while she went back to her native tongue, she tapped Rocha on the head and then she grabbed dirt from the ground and threw it into Rocha's face.
Rocha started coughing and sputtering a bit because of the sand getting into her mouth, she then started to wipe her eyes to get the dirt out of them, when she finished she was looking for Michelle, but did not see her, and this kind of shocked her, she didn't even hear her leave. She shrugged and then returned to making her way to the beach.
Fifty-eight minutes went by and Rocha, Silver, Rylie, and Crème were sharing random stories, but they were trying to play a game, where one tells four different stories, and three of them had to be made up, but sound real, while the actual true story stays as it is.
Rocha stepped away from the group pulled out her watch and saw it was time for Belize to pick them up, but she looked all around for him, she couldn't see him any where, she was a little annoyed, but she was having fun so she went back to the group.
"So where did you go off to Rocha?" Silver asked not out of curiosity, but out of the fact it was her turn to tell a couple stories and the three guess which was true, Rocha was about to respond, until the competitors heard a helicopter hovering above them. "Hello down there, sorry I'm a bit late, had to make a deal to get this helicopter, make things more fun for me." Belize announced with a microphone attached to the bottom of the helicopter.
Belize then threw out the rope ladder and got the competitors to climb up, once they were in he pushed a button and the door closed on its own, then he flew them back to the main island.
A/N Here's the real chapter 15, now like I said before I don't expect a review every chapter, but at least something to put in the Aftermath side story will be great, and I want everyone to express opinions, so if you want to say something and want it to be anonymous then let me know, make it like you secretly like or despise the competitors, doesn't matter. Also I picked a random competitor from the last chapter so that poll is gone, but this one will be up for how ever long it takes to get at least 10 votes, or 2 weeks which ever comes first.
