A/N Okay back to the actual story. Sorry Im getting really frustrated with many things and been a bit here and there with my mind, I need a break and I have taken a small one then I look up where I am in the stories and noticed I didnt have this chapter up and yeah, Im really frustrated with myself at the time, I been sitting here going like, Why the hell have people not voted, are they intentionally trying to piss me off, but then with the break I looked through my story and checked along with my documents and saw they didnt match, so I am sorry about that, and the poll has been extended again, and I really am sorry. Enjoy the official chapter 17 I think it is.
Everyone was silently and peacefully sleeping in their respective groups that some slightly missed, but most of the others hated it, Wolfie specifically he stayed up most the night keeping an eye on Scott who was just sitting there staring at Wolfie just waiting for the chance to bring on the fight to take him out.
Wolfie shuddered a little, but then got up stretched a little and started to walk away from their little dwelling in the forest and went down by the docks, walking backwards to keep his eyes on Scott who just sat there smiling and then finally laying down for a nap, Wolfie sighed and walked on to the dock knowing he wasn't going to be followed.
Wolfie walks up onto the boards of the dock and sat and watched the sunrise over the horizon starting out with a gentle hue of dark orange, then after several minutes went up to a slightly brighter orange, but still able to watch it looking straight at it, after a few more minutes, it made a bright yellow and Wolfie couldn't watch the sunrise any more, he turned around and saw Belize walking up the docks.
"Hey Belize; you getting things prepared for the next group?" Belize just walked by him and untied the boat that was to take the next group to the island. Once that was done Belize then just walked down the dock again, this time looked at Wolfie and then gave a grinning smile that looked a bit psychotic, Wolfie started to feel an uneasiness about the smile.
After a minute Belize stopped smiling and broke into a run, running into the forest, Wolfie shrugged it off and then noticed the boat was starting to slowly drift away, Wolfie ran and jumped into the water and grabbed the rope that was still hanging onto the boat, and he started to swim his way back to the dock.
Wolfie was almost to the dock when he saw Belize, Zack, and all the other competitors there wondering what the heck he was doing. Wolfie then jumped out of the water and clung on the edge of the dock, once he pulled himself out he retied the boat to the dock. "What I was watching the sunrise, but then Belize came around and then untied the boat and ran off."
Everyone looked at him confused, and then looked at Belize, Belize sat there trying to figure things out, but then he realized everyone was looking at him, "Well who ever you saw it wasn't me… Zack, and Team Water can verify I was with them for some time getting the cabin restocked with food." Wolfie then looked around thinking he might be going a little crazy, he hasn't had any sleep since Scott was staring him down over something that made a petty argument.
"Well forget it, any way I saved the boat from floating out to sea with no one on it." Everyone shrugged not really caring too much, Belize walked over to Wolfie "Thanks, you at least saved me a couple hours of delay to get the boat back." Belize then climbed into the boat and checked to make sure everything was fine, after he finished he jumped back down to the docks. "Okay now I want Meggy, Patch, Scott, and Roxie to come here."
The group of four walked up to Belize, "Okay now just to have some fun, I'm making a slight switch up, here." the four seemed a little confused, Belize laughed "Wolfie you are taking place of Roxie." Wolfie looked shocked as he just realized he was going to be in a group on an island with Scott. "Umm Belize, I don't think that will work out, I mean you wanted to have minimal team work for this challenge." Belize nodded "Yes I wanted minimal teamwork, meaning one team has a couple of members from their original team, to help them out, and in your case, there's little to no teamwork." Scott smiled and then kept his eyes on his target.
Wolfie started to get a little nervous, but then he remembered that Scott can't do anything to him unless they had to fight to the death, so he knew he was safe, from that. "Oh and the interesting thing I want to remind you Scott, you can't kill Wolfie" Scott looked down and upset, but then an idea came to his mind, and he walked over to Belize and whispered in his ear. "Ooh that is devious, but a decent point…" Belize looked at the time, "Shit we better get this going, before it gets too late."
Belize boarded the boat, "Hurry up, or Ill make the elimination choice right now." The four competitors crashed into each other all trying to get on the boat Belize laughed "I am kidding, I would eliminate anyone, unless someone pissed me off enough to." Everyone just gave glares at Belize. "That's not funny man." Scott said, and then turned his attention back to Wolfie.
Wolfie was still comforting his mind that Scott can't do anything to him, without getting himself kicked out, and he's sure that Scott really wants to win. Scott just kept telling himself, 'don't kill the wolf yet.' He then said out loud "Soon fresh meat… Soon" Meggy, Patch, Wolfie, and Belize were looking at Scott a little suspicious. Scott just laughed it off, "Oh nothing, just a little saying me and the football team I play for, for fun came up with to get ourselves pumped and ready to play a game." Everyone shrugged it off, but Wolfie who knew that the saying was mentioned to him.
Belize cut the engine of the boat and let it come to a standstill on the calming waters just four hundred feet from the beach of the island. "Okay, here's a couple of packages open them when you get on the island." Everyone was looking suspiciously at Belize, Belize just sat and laughed "Don't worry, this isn't another trick gift, its an actual little helping too for you." Scott started to open his when Belize grabbed it from him, Belize then grabbed some chains and wrapped it around the box and then pulled a pad lock from a drawer and locked the box. Belize then gave Scott the box back and then put the key in a bottle and threw it out into the water and watched it float up to the beach.
"Now anyone else want to try to open theirs?" everyone else shook their heads no Belize smiled, "Good, now there's life boats on the side, go to the island Ill come back in five hours to pick you up." Everyone got into one lifeboat and unhooked it from the boat and started to make their way to the beach, once they got there Meggy, Wolfie, and Patch opened their boxes. Scott was scouring the beach for the bottled key to unlock his box.
Wolfie pulled out a torn map piece "What is this supposed to mean?" he looked at the map and it had an inscription on it 'etuka mengilika tallilliyakrom movingorta' Wolfie said it out loud and nothing happened. "Hmm I guess it's just some nonsense Belize made." Wolfie then felt his stomach cringe with hunger and he suddenly felt paralyzed.
Belize watching the scene on a monitor in the boat was laughing his ass off, "Wow damn it I gave the wrong gift to the wrong person. All well this will make things more interesting." Belize then felt something was behind him watching the even too, and Belize heard laughing, he quickly got up and looked around behind him, but nothing was there, "I know I heard you laughing… Don't worry I'm laughing to come on this is some funny shit." Belize then started to laugh and Belize heard someone else laughing with him. "That's it, let out the laugh this is fun."
Meggy watching what happened to Wolfie and was a little worried to open hers, she slowly opened it and it was a roasted chicken leg, Meggy screamed and dropped the leg and stopped at the edge of the water and started to get in a fetal position and started to rock back and forth. Patch was trying to hold back a laugh he then went over to Meggy and started to slightly comfort her to make her feel better, he then put his box down and went to grab a stick and slowly opened the top of the lid.
He dropped the stick when the lid popped of and landed on the side of the package, he didn't see anything come out of it, he then slowly walked over to it, and looked inside, and there was nothing at all in the package. He looked confused and then shrugged walked over to the chicken leg and peeled off pieces and ate it, he then found a couple coconuts and walked over to them counting his steps to get there, once he got there he counted how many times it took to hit the coconut against a tree to open it up, he then measures the amount of force it would take to get it opened in one hit.
He then found a leaf, he poured the coconut milk into the leaf and brought it over to Meggy who was still in a slight shock, seeing a bird brethren roasted, thinking that something like that would happen to her brothers or her.
Scott managed to find the bottle with the key in it, he then smashed it on a rock sticking up out of the water and grabbed the key before it fell into the water and get swept out to sea, or dig into the dirt and get lost. He opened the lock dropped it and the chains into the water and then opened the box as fast as he could, when he opened it a mechanism shot out a note and stuck to Scott's face.
'Hah sucker, I knew you would want to open this box early so I made this note, if you didn't try to open it early I would have given you the real box, before I sent you off, all well hoped you enjoyed worrying about what was in it to get disappointed.' Scott threw the box on the ground and started to stomp on it and yelling out many obscene words, just as a cruise ship was passing by full of children.
Wolfie finally got over the quick paralysis, he then started to look at his map and trying to figure out what the hell it was for, he then turned it over onto the back and then read a letter written to someone 'Patch, this is a map to a hidden village in the forest I need you to get there and say the words on the front to them, oh and if they look mad, then run like hell.' Wolfie looked at it side ways and then sighed, "Oh I guess this was meant for Patch, well I guess I better get something to eat before I get it to him."
Wolfie saw some berries on a shrub and tested it to see what kind of berry it was, it was blue berry and he known blue berries weren't deadly so he started to pick them and eat them once he had his fill he made his way over to Patch, who he saw was still nearby Meggy, he smiled "Aww that's cute, I didn't expect he would do that." he then shrugged and went over to Patch.
"Hey Patch this package was meant for you, umm I don't know what to make of it, so it has no use to me, here." Wolfie handed Patch the map and then pulled him away from Meggy "Also why are you cuddling up with a young robin? Shouldn't you be going for someone a little more your age?" Patch looked at Wolfie and just scolded him, he then grabbed the map and looked at it, and he didn't even know what it means.
Patch looked over the map, over and over, and over still not understanding it, but then he felt something hit him, he looked behind him and saw a coconut with red words on it, 'Get out' Patch sighed and then looked around to see who or what through it, but couldn't see anything, he then followed the map and stopped in front of a closed gate.
"Umm, etuka mengil-ika talli-lliyakrom movingorta" Patch looked around, but nothing happened, he expected a trap of some sort, but there was nothing but silence. Patch smiled and relaxed knowing it wasn't a trap, he turned around and took a couple of steps before he heard something hit the ground behind him, he quickly turned around and saw a spear, sticking into the ground right where he was standing.
"Luikanar bowangta meityrain" Patch suddenly heard someone say, and he turned around and saw a little figure, he couldn't see it well, it was literally darker then a shadow, but it looked solid, he then slowly walked over to it, but before he got close to it, the shadow looked up at him, with black soulless eyes, that suddenly started to shine a bright red. Patch starting to get freaked out ran as fast as he could back to the beach, he didn't stop for anything.
Patch made it back to the beach and runs over to the water he then pulls out the map and started to shred it, and then threw it into the water. He then sat in silence staring off at the forest, Wolfie and Meggy were looking at Patch a bit concerned, but then they heard Scott making his way to the beach they were at.
"That damn little piece of shit, how the hell did he know what would severely piss me off, the second I find how he's figuring out things he shouldn't know, that damn host is going down." The three other competitors looked at him and Scott fell silent. Scott realized he just said his plan out loud and remembered Belize had cameras on the island.
Belize was sitting looking at the screen calm and content, almost smiling, "Well Scott, showing your true intentions finally, well I accept your challenge, but for now we will keep this little war between us." Belize then laughed, "You have not ran out of usefulness to be eliminated just yet." Belize pressed a button and the beach slowly started to fill up with an invisible and odorless gas, knocking out all the competitors.
Belize laughed, he heard the laughing again, but this time it sounded more childish. "What, I thought you were suppose to be a deep foreboding something bad is about to happen laugh?" Belize said out loud all the laughing in the room stopped. Belize looked around, "Okay look I don't care of you around, just don't let anyone else know you're here." Belize looked around and sighed.
"That won't be a problem Belize." Belize looked around, "That voice, it… it can't be. Not here." a shadow started to form around the corners of the room slowly stretching across the walls and floors heading over to Belize.
Zack was walking around outside, having fun with the other competitors that were just sitting and plotting how they will last their five hours, but Zack ignored most of them, he knew the end of this challenge, something they wont expect will happen, a kind of interesting little twist.
Zack sighed not wanting to expose the twist quickly made his way back inside, he went down the stairs, "Belize I need to occupy my mind, I'm almost showing excitement in seeing what the competitors will think if…" Zack looked around at the empty room, "Oh damn, he left to go pick up the ones on the island." Zack laughed a little having to let out some excitement over the surprise, he then decided to look at the monitor and saw the cameras were laying on the ground.
"What the hell?" Zack said as he picked up a walkie-talkie "Jared, Issiac, Lisa… what's going on? Why are the cameras on the ground?" Suddenly one of the cameras started to move and then static on the walkie-talkie responded. "Zack man, I don't know what went on, but I had to get them off the island." Zack sighed as he recognized it was Belize.
"Okay, Just get this done and over with we still have five more groups to go before we start the real fun." The camera was replaced on the ground and then Belize's voice was over the walkie-talkie again, "Yeah I know, but you mind shutting off the gas? Starting to get a slight headache." Zack looked around and saw that the button was pressed and was releasing the gas.
He shut of the connection and was hoping that the gas stopped, the walkie-talkie crackled again, "Thanks man, oh and about the five groups, we are going to send three for the next one, and then we are going to send the last two." Zack shrugged, he knew it would save them 15 hours if they just do a couple groups at the same time. "Yeah man, get to have the fun sooner, instead of waiting another day.
The camera was laying on the ground again, "Yeah, I figured you would love this option, any way I'm going to get everyone off the island I see before we send the groups and more cameramen/women." Zack just responded "Okay, I'll let the groups know of the change." Then the room went silent, Zack looked at the cameras and saw a boat heading back to the main island, he sighed a bit.
He climbed up the ladder and left the room to tell the last five groups of the change, the second he left the room, the camera went to static and came back online showing a red fluid was started to pool up around the camera before the camera goes to static again.
A/N sorry I wanted these to be a single group each on doing something, some surviving better then others, but I started to think I would rather get them up on the next challenge, so my mind wanted me to rush the groups and I didn't want a chapter going…
*Group whatever landed on the island, competitor 'A' did a simple thing and didn't help anyone else while competitor 'B' did the same.* Pretty much I didn't want to shorten the details and things so I'm going to have it focused on each and every character on a little larger group, which will ensure even if its still cut down at least it wont be as noticeable.
Any way that's it for now, what do you think happened? Is Belize really there, or what?
